Sal's Pizzeria Brooklyn Reviews
I just ordered a large cheese pie and a slice of spinach. The pie is fresh sauce fresh everything fresh pizza was amazing. Spinach pizza was amazing. Also love it love it love it. Great customer service thank you for serving us and being great to us.
The best pizzeria in williamsburg and I'm a true williamsberian living here for 56 years and there's no doubt they have the best Italian food period in the neighborhood 😋 god bless.
Sal’s Pizza – A Neighborhood Treasure ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sal’s has been a staple in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember — and I’ve been here for over 45 years! Since I was a kid, this place has always delivered amazing pizza and top-quality food. The flavors have stayed consistently delicious over the decades, and you can tell they use good, fresh ingredients every time. Prices have always been fair, and the service feels like family. In a world where so many places come and go, Sal’s has stood the test of time — and for good reason. Thank you, Sal, for keeping this tradition alive. Here’s to many more years of great pizza and great memories! 🙏🍕
Food is crazy good and served freshly baked. We ordered regular cheese pizza slices which were as good or better compared to other famous pizza joints in the city. We also ordered a Grandma's Old Fashioned Sicilian pizza which had the rectangular slices and this was beyond amazing. The chicken parmesan sandwich was also to die for. Will definitely buy Sal's again.
Every time I eat here I’m reminded why I love it so much. The cheese slice is perfection. Dont fix what’s not broken. Sals is amazing and this is the most underrated slice in the city (I say this as I’ve loved and enjoyed many other pizza spots in nyc). Just come here. No frills, been around since the 60s (long before I was born lol) but enjoy and thank me and (obviously) Sal later.
I will give this place a 10/10!!!! I came to Sal’s pizzeria after my boyfriend job’s Christmas party, came here with my bf. The food was delicious, my bf bought me a Buffalo chicken slice it was nice & fresh. Sadly I wasn’t able to take a picture of it because I was starving. But my Buffalo chicken slice was fresh & hot. We also ordered Caesar salad & pasta everything was excellent & also the customer service was lovely. I will definitely try to come back again.
It's taken me three decades to find spaghetti and meatballs like this. It smelled faintly of bell pepper or fennel, but the taste is sublime, with complex layers & depth of flavor. Reminded me of my early days in New Jersey. Real down-home Italian but cooked with finesse. You can't get sauce like this from a jar. Sauce tastes like love. Also can't say enough about the crisp chewy gooey goodness of their slices; some of the best around, and the most reasonably priced. Service was fast, efficient & warm. Beats anything you can get anywhere else. I'm looking at you, Manhattan.
I had the cheese Silician, which is pictured with several bites already taken, and it was great! The crust was thick yet fluffy. I really, really loved the crust! The sauce at first tasted sweet to me but that went away. The cheese was layered on thick but was good. At for the service, I was waited on immediately and didn't have a problem. But I also visited around 1230pm on a Sunday when the place wasn't busy.
Pretty solid pizza actually. Above average but not exactly best pizza ever. The slices were good and price paid for the regular and vodka were a little over $10. Pizzas weren’t floppy and had a good crust, overall pretty good. Not much more to say, my experience wasn’t as bad as the lower reviews here and the AC was working, plus I kind of expect single slices to be what they are rather than priced from a whole pie… nothing to brag about but definitely not average or below in my opinion, just good pizza
A pretty standard pizza place. They have a decent menu of other things as well, but with Pizzeria in the name, you go there for one reason. The pizza was pretty solid. Plain slice has a lot of flavor. It's ever so slightly thinner than the average slice but not so much to throw you off. The grandma was good but the Sicilian was one to forget. A bunch of people came in for chicken rolls so they must be pretty good too. Pizza Adventures: Destination 84
It's not just actually old school and "eye to eye", it has some of the best classic crusts in the city. The vodka sauce and white cheese has to be one of my favorite slices in NYC overall. Staff is always nice. Place is always clean! Another no-frills fountain soda pizza parlour with great dough for little to no dough.
Nice looking place & cool staff but honestly the pizza gave me & my friends food poisoning or just upset stomach, maybe old cheese or bad toppings. Beautiful place & nice staff but maybe business is slow & your hoarding ingredients.Nothing that can't be fixed but there's too many great pizza shops in the area sooo ....
A regular cheese pie is $22 and $25 with pepperoni. I ordered 4 pepperoni slices, 3 cheese slices and 2 sicilians which came out to almost $43. When I asked why, the person behind the counter was extremely rude like I did something wrong. It seems it's more expensive when you order "slices" instead of pie. Just be transparent with your customers. Post the prices for slices if there is a mark up! It's easy to think we will pay less if you are selling pies at $22. I appreciate the gesture but no thanks. I come from a customer service background. I was very polite and asked a question seeking clarification and you responded in a rude manner. Appreciate the people that bring you business, especially when there are many other pizza options nearby. You also never know who you are speaking with and what kind of business they can bring you in the near future.
