Ranch House Cafe Canyon Reviews
This is a great spot! I stopped in with my toddler and the service was great! Very thoughtful of my restless and hungry child and brought out a portion of the food early to occupy them. The food was wonderful and probably the crispiest hash browns I've had in a while! They were so good!

This is a very fine local cafe. The menu is very basic but the food is delicious and the service is outstanding.
Great place, service super friendly, food was great, I was hungry and did not take a picture as I forgot. I got the Steak Combo and was delicious, coffee was great too. We enjoyed the time here. Thank you
This is the ultimate home cooked meal breakfast place! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! It’s a great place to try if you’re looking for a local joint!
Very friendly staff, I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and they were great, the Texas sized pancake was fluffy and delicious.
Food was fresh, seasoned AMAZING and so delicious. Our waitress, Kelly, was very nice and on top of everything. 10/10. Went during lunch hour and didn’t wait at all, we were sat immediately and food was quick. We will be back! This might be my new favorite spot in the area!
We really like this place. The food is always very good! Pam is a sweetheart and always very kind and efficient. We just moved to Texas 6 months ago and It is now our new favorite place.
Great good. Good prices. Very friendly people. Pam was so sweet and attentive. We also bought a loaf of pumpkin bread that was made by Pam. Excited to try it out at home. Definitely will be coming back with the whole family
Really good food, nice service, just took a little while for the food. The atmosphere feels like a ma and pa restaurant which is pretty nice. The French toast was very good. Oh!! And surprisedly cheap.
The Ranch House Cafe served us exceptional food. Our waitress was phenomenal! I have never encountered a waitress who performed her duties so well, unfortunately I don't remember her name. We need more individuals like her. My daughter ordered the enchilada plate with red sauce rice beans and salad, one beef and one cheese enchilada. My son-in-law had the cheeseburger and fries. I had the hamburger steak with gravy, grilled onions, and mushrooms, accompanied by onion rings. Their prices are pretty reasonable too! We’re definitely going back!
Wonderful breakfast diner with friendly customer service, staff members continually checked on us and refilled our coffee and drinks. We ordered the Ranch House combo with scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy. We also ordered the Texas size pancake with strawberries and French toast with sausage. Everything was perfect and delicious!
This was absolutely incredible. I have to start off by saying that I witnessed Kelly take care of an entire restaurant ALONE. She not once was frazzled. She’s amazing. So sweet and def is a Super Woman! Food was perfection! Pancake was one of the best I’ve had. Order 1. Trust me it will be enough. The interior decor is well done as well. Makes you feel at home. Restaurant was clean all around as well. Thank you so much.
Our waitress was hands down awesome. I had grits to start with which were great. For my entree I had steak, eggs, country potatos, and a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit and gravy was amazing it reminded me of my grandma's when I was younger. But the creme de la creme was my steak. It was hands down the second best steak I've ever had. My uncles is the only steak I've ever had that was better. It was juicy, tender, melt in your mouth greatness. I 10/10 recommend 👌. My daughter had a breakfast burrito with sausage, bacon, and smothered in queso. She was only able to eat half of it as it was ginormous. She said it was really good. I sit here stuffed now writing this and have to say everyone should try this place. It was amazing.
My husband and I ate here today and the food was DELICIOUS. I tried the mama t's and let me tell you....i could eat a whole bowl of that gravy by itself.my husband got the smothered burrito and needless to say it was gone before i could remember to take a picture. Sophie was our waitress and she did an excellent job. Super friendly and very attentive :)
Staff was super friendly! Good atmosphere, good food. Just WAY too over priced. $73 lunch for me, wife, and 2 kids. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 sandwich, 1 country fried steak. 2 sweet teas and 2 cokes. Only issue was price. Other than that, would recommend.
Slow service, bland food, but it’s got classic vibes. Bulk watered down coffee, long wait times once you’ve ordered even in a 50% full restaurant, and the food was pretty bland. I got an omelette packed with veggies and smothered in red chili. Pretty much flavorless. Positive note: wife’s sausage biscuit and gravy was really good.
We went for breakfast, potatoes were pretty unseasoned, the “Texas-sized” pancake was probably Rhode Island sized, hard to cut, and served room temperature at best (the butter didn’t even melt). Gave a little bit of credit on wait time due to a large party being seated at the same time but won’t be returning.
Poor communication. Dont know where to wait to be seated. They pulled 3 groups of people before us, we were there first. We were acknowledged, but never attended to.
