Cass Street Bar and Grill Coronado Reviews
A fun bar off the beaten path in PB. Very friendly staff and they have a great selection of craft beer. Food is excellent, I really enjoyed the tacos from Harry’s Taco club which is attached. The atmosphere is fun, and there is a variety of people. Really cool decor reminiscent of Miami vice! Cass street serves beer and wine, they have an alternative to liquor which I haven’t tried.
Cool bar with unique decor. Reminds me of the movie Tron. Harry’s taco club is attached so food is great. Had the California burrito, highly recommend and their tacos are good too. Very dog friendly! Heads up they serve rice alcohol instead of the real stuff if that matters to you.
A locals bar and PB classic, Cass St always serves up a good time. Great Steak Baguette. They should have kept the shuffleboard though
Nice local bar atmosphere. Great prices. And the kitchen is amazing. One of the best restaurants in PB. Note that the food takes a bit because it's made fresh by one cook. And they don't serve liquor.
Always a fun spot for some beers and a couple games of pool. The chicken baguette is my favorite in the menu but I like pretty much everything they serve.
Holiday party or just coming for the fun vibe and atmosphere. Mo and the staff will take care of you.
Great drinks, great good, great service. Thanks to Mike for showing us what is PB all about.

Haven't been to this place in YEARS, but I'm so glad we stopped in for some lunch today. My wife and I sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender Evy. She was friendly and attentive our entire stay. They have a great selection of draft beer! I was stoked to see Coronado Blonde on draft. I had the Steak Bites, which were awesome and my wife had the Oriental Salad, which she loved. She would recommend you get the dressing on the side though. The vinaigrette on the salad is delicious, but can pool at the bottom of the dish, so best to get it on the side. There were a few other people at the bar and the manager (Angela I believe was her name) was out on the floor talking it up with the customers. She stopped by and asked us how everything was. She also told us about some of the new beers they just got in and some of the promotions they do. We are definitely excited to go back and try some more menu items and new beers!
Got sent here by the guys at Even Keel for their burritos. They DID NOT disappoint. Great service, great beer and a super yummy bean and cheese burrito. This will definitely be our new post-tattoo lunch spot.
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing deals!! Kurt is the best bartender, you really can't beat this place. Everyone is kind and the vibes are up!
Hosted trivia night here, was covering for the regular host. Everyone was exceedingly nice, including the staff. Shout out Brandon the bouncer. Seems like a place with great community, while also being welcoming, which is not always an easy balance to strike.
Great stuff, they let us hop behind the counter and play music.
This is the best locals bar. The food is 10/10, and the steak baguette is to die for. Plus, they have free popcorn. The bartenders are almost extremely friendly accommodating. They've started serving an amazing chardonnay recently, so wine lovers welcome. They also have amazing specials.
I post up ridiculously heavy at this place often. We're vibemaxxing with friends. There's literally a pool table. Guys they have music playing over speakers. Popcorn is free, with a short wait. It's all happening in the booth seats. They serve beer and also wine. There's an outdoor area but it gets cold sometimes. It could also happen at hightop tables, it really doesn't matter. Quesadillas next door are fire. It's a staple of PB, and it's chill. It's actually on Cass St, so you know it's authentic. The locals are friendly, maybe dap them up in passing. It's sooo chill. Literally you can just talk about things at a table. It could be at a low top table too tbh. They have windows open sometimes, but maybe not tonight. They arent on fire, not yet at least. You can just show up to this place, but bring ID. You can be rambunctious, within reason. We're sharing whimsical stories. They have all kinds of seats to choose from. I'm not joking.

Very good grilled fish sandwiches, steak baguettes, and cioppino.

Best deal in beer anywhere near the beach. $5 drinks all day, every day, until 6 pm. Great fish sandwich and the burritos from the attached Harry’s are top notch.
Neighborhood bar... Locals with dogs . Great bar service. Separate kitchen highly rated food. Base Ball on all screens.. too bad if your not interested 😕

The woman behind the bar was so so rude when I asked for water. “We don’t do that here”. The amount of attitude that she had was so uncalled for. It’s unfortunate, I will not be back despite having a Tuesday tradition of getting Harry’s and beers at cass street. Hope they change this policy soon, they used to have water and cups available but no longer. Big bummer. Don’t come here unless you want to deal with someone that really doesn’t like people or her job apparently. ------------------------------------------------ EDIT: I took a day to think about this interaction, and I would like to amend my above comment. First, think about this: you are a bartender at a busy bar in a tourist neighborhood. This bar has always offered water in pitchers with cups on the bar, which patrons often take advantage of and appreciate, and have now come to expect. Then, your management implements a new policy that they will no longer offer water in the pitchers, and people start coming up and asking you for water. Over and over and over. So you continually have to stop what you're doing and tell 50 different people no, we do not give water here. OF COURSE you are annoyed. I have grown to be empathetic towards the (albeit, very rude) bartender. I am no longer angry with this woman and how she treated me, I am now on her side and am angry at management for taking away the water pitchers and forcing their bartenders to tell customers what they don't want to hear. I already said this, but I will now be moving my Tuesday trivia at Cass / Tacos at Harry's tradition to a different bar that offers water.
I was yelled and screamed up by the security guard last week . I was also falsely accused of being under the age of 21 and being a little girl when I had my ID and it clearly shows that I’m 32. I was born in 1992 next week when they’re having their night that will be my birthday and I will be turning 33 but I’m not gonna come here so everybody can just miss Be disrespectful towards me for no reason check your cameras if you have a problem, check my picture of my ID Since you have a problem, check the proof! The kj will sing over you while you’re in the middle of singing and he is playing your song for you specially during the big notes. The security guard was quite rude to me tonight falsely Falsely accusing me of skating inside the bar when I never did. The whole thing is on camera I don’t skate inside of any establishment. I always take off my skates. He simply told me Way before I even got the cast straight on the sidewalk as I was already bending down to take off my skates which I also took off at the Saint Bryt adult group as well. Metal head guy, screaming, and yelling very disrespectful in the group very disrespectful everyone. He sucks! I really don’t care because I don’t come to this place to get disrespected when I’m singing and him and his two friends with blonde hair just continue to laugh and mock me while I’m singing and walk out and every time I have been there in the past and he is saying, I did not walk out and take my friends and block him. He has a bad attitude. He shouldn’t be there singing!
There's multiple reasons we stopped going here (we live two doors down) but honestly the service was the main one and they showed it tonight. We only come for the oriental salad with chicken and order it from the outside window. Today after standing there for 20 minutes the guy rudely told us at the window we had to order from the bar. It's the same kitchen. They've never had a problem in the past. Do yourself a favor and avoid their fake alcohol and crappy staff.
