Foot long subs and no nonsense fresh ingredients. Little pocket of NYC in Denton. Great vibes! The buffalo chicken was good. Wish it had more sauce in it-it had a great mild kick to it. The turkey sub was delicious as well. We added .75 cents due to “premium” ingredients which was on par with other establishments (mushrooms, pepperocinis, olives). Didn’t know they had soups, but will definitely stop by for them next time. Great pit stop for food between OK and Dallas!

This place is absolutely phenomenal. The sandwiches are great, made with fresh ingredients. All the employees are extremely friendly, but what really gives this 5 stars is the pricing. I talked to one of the employees about how cheap it was and they said that they try to keep their prices not insanely expensive since its a college town. I love that. Keep up the good work guys, I'm moving to Denton soon and this place will be a regular for me.

I am a huge fan of sub sandwiches and have previously owned a family sub sandwich shop. New York Sub Hub is owner operated every day and it makes a huge difference. The quality of meat products is high. Their offerings for toppings is more than an average chain. The biggest and most important thing to me is the bread. They have a very nice soft roll that they serve their sandwiches on and it is better than any chain offers. Their fountain soda machine offers “sonic” style ice which is always great and the New York themed decor is fun. Don’t waste your time at a chain. Go here first! Pictured is their All Stops sandwich. It is my standard order. It is consistent and never disappoints.

The sandwiches here were delicious. I had the turkey and cheese sub, which was a good choice. The New York themed decorations in the shop were a lot of fun to look at as well.

Awesome customer service!! I never wrote a google review but this place deserves recognition, fresh ingredients and flavorful taste within each bite. As long as I have to come here to Denton, this will be my new spot. I will never be able to eat at subway or witch which again. They don’t compare to New York Sub Hub

Been in Denton for decades. A decent enough sub. I always get all the stops. Cool New York subway theme. Service efficient, but nothing to write home about. Certainly more could be done to make it more welcoming, fiber, and atmospheric, but no big negatives.

Half-Ass Publishing

Went here on a whim with the family. I had a steak and cheese sub. I was expecting a Philly cheese steak but it was very different. The veggies were raw, and different but still good. Instead of mayo they used A1, which added a great flavor. I enjoyed the sandwich. My kids had meatball subs, they loved them. I also got a cup of broccoli cheese soup and it was fantastic.

This place is not what I consider a chain restaurant - it is unique. Great staff, efficient service and the venue is decked out in street/subway signs and New York related newspaper articles. Plenty to look at and discuss. The location also has a side area that is tucked away, quiet and less traffic. The parking is real tight in the front, there is parking in the back. Careful, some of the sandwich bread has hard crust spots, like taping on a Turtle Shell, which made part of the sandwich uncomfortable to eat. The sandwiches were still outstanding.

This is not like any NY or even the east coast subs, that I’m use to. This is extra steak? Smdh the turkey pastrami was decent

Being from the north east and having been to NY several times. My steak sandwich was nothing like anything you serve in NY. Couldn’t find the cheese. The steak tasted good but not enough. No grill to fry up the onions. Not coming back.

We've compared the sub places here pretty well, and this is no doubt the very last one we'd go to again (out of nine of us none will go back). They put less meat, often less of everything (unless you put up a big fuss). So paying for bread and not much more is not out thing, despite our location right next to it, we prefer, well, anything else.
