Bamford Warrior Restaurant El Paso Reviews
People complain a lot about Bamford Dining Facility but for $7.25 you can’t beat it, you can get sandwich bar, or Main Line or Short order! Full service Salad Bar, soup, Ice cream and dessert. For those who say no variety tell me what variety do fast chains offer it’s the same menu over and over! Great value! Good Food! And the 28 day menu is not bad!
Great food and well set up dining facility. Easy to process the line and find your way between various sections.

My husband and I ate here for several days and I was very pleased with their variety of offerings, as well as the overall quality of the food. We experienced almost no line and I was able to pay for my meals with a credit card as long as I showed a military or veteran ID.
So many choices for just day to day meals, especially for those staying healthy. Defiantly helpful to allow non perishables to be taken to go, small hiccups like the flavor lacking ice cream and same breakfast everyday don't take away too much from the anticipation for going everyday.
The Bamford Warrior Restaurant (DFAC) on Fort Bliss consistently delivers a dependable and professional dining experience for Soldiers and personnel on post. The facility is well-maintained, clean, and efficiently organized, allowing for smooth traffic flow even during peak meal hours. The food quality is solid and reliable, with a wide variety of options that support both performance nutrition and personal preference. From the hot entrée line to the salad bar and grab-and-go selections, the meals are fresh, well-prepared, and replenished quickly. The staff members are courteous, professional, and clearly committed to keeping the dining area clean and operating efficiently, which makes a noticeable difference in the overall experience. What stands out most is the consistency. Whether stopping in for breakfast before training, grabbing lunch between tasks, or sitting down for dinner after a long day, Bamford Warrior Restaurant provides a dependable place to refuel with quality meals in a well-run environment. It is a strong example of a DFAC that supports readiness by taking care of the basics exceptionally well.
The meals are basically the same each day, but the food is pretty fresh, facility is clean, the staff isnt bad, overall typical dfac. They do have soft serve ice cream so that's a huge perk!!
A good Army mess hall experience. Offering just about anything that could be wanted. Hot daily entrees, sandwiches, salad bar, side dishes, desserts, etc. Plenty of drink choices as well: sodas, coffee, tea, juices, etc. Very reasonable prices. Open to the public. Lots of parking. Limited hours, so you have to get there in time. Plus the camaraderie of active service personnel. Cannot recommend it enough. A hidden gem.
I had the breakfast! There were grits! Im a country girl and hadn't had grits in a while. I dont eat pork and there was turkey sausage! Everything on my plate was yummy!
Great food and customer service is amazing

Home away from home! The facility is well kept. The staff is always on point, with a great attitude, Mr. Will is consistently ready to serve, and accommodate our request with a positive attitude.

This place hasn't changed over the years same old decor same decent food. I will say the staff is outstanding and friendly and there are no reservations are required
Not the best DFAC I’ve ever been to, but their wings and crab legs are awesome.

First time eating there and definitely plenty of options. I think placards and signs would be helpful to direct customers to the area they need. Lunch menu displays before the register would also be helpful so customers can know what options are being served.
They overcook the meat and the drink machines are not working right a lot of times. They have a good salad bar and the staff is nice.
Good food / service for the money. A great value actually. Great choices in great healthy food. Ladies working there can be a little rude edgy, but I understand when I see how some of the customers act too. Let's try to all do better.
Since my last review things have gotten better. No more flies, clearer communication, less equipment breakdowns, etc. Overall it's still a DFAC, so there isn't much to say. Breakfast has a good selection of sides where the salads usually are for lunch and dinner. While lunch and dinner tend to share the same things making them less unique. But like I said, it's a DFAC, go in expecting normal DFAC food and you won't be disappointed at least.

Great food for an Army DFAC, and plenty of choices at the salad bar. My fav one on post.

Very good as far as dfac goes. Was surprised that the taco night wasn't as good as I had hoped, being in Texas. Very nice staff and clean area. Excellent drink choices.
The food is pretty standard DFAC fare. The main dishes have been okay. The sides are hit or miss. The vegetables are all boiled to death and essentially just mush. The fries are always stale. There is not a whole lot of variety. The dining area is clean, bright and well maintained. The staff are generally pretty downtrodden and the short order stuff has been screwed up at least half the time.
Meh, it’s okay, not very impressive. There is one place you don’t want to sit. It smells terrible like the sewage system doesn’t have proper venting. Makes the place almost unbearable—- one star for atmosphere.
When I came through here for CRC it was a solid DFAC. Now during demob it’s very subpar. The food itself is pretty good but the outside of the building smells like raw sewage, the inside is full of flies, and the sandwhich guy is real snippy. They are open till 1830 but they start putting food away at 1815. Also, it’s hard to have an appetite walking into a building that smells like a sewage spill and flies everywhere.
It is a DFAC but from the last time here 6 months ago the quality has gone down. The food was bland. The ice cream was frozen water. The gravy at breakfast was watered down as was the grits. I had the salad bar and I don't think the lettuce or leaves got washed right.

Legit the worst chow hall I’ve been too. Even the hours make no sense. The breakfast is the only decent meal this place produces and even then they only let you scramble two eggs if you’re adding other ingredients like ham or peppers. Super small portion for no reason. Glad I’m not here permanently.
We only have a 1 and a half hour window to eat. The line is long as hell. I've missed several meals because of training and the 1 1/2 hour window. A 1 1/2 hour window for the entire post at McGregor to eat at the same window is in insane.
