I went here on the evening of July 19 the restaurant was very busy but we were seated immediately the server was very nice and helpful I got the create your combo for $27.99 and I got the steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli and I also got a appetizer of mozzarella sticks and the food was very good!!

I feel like Applebee's sometimes gets a bad reputation for being a low-quality casual dining restaurant, and obviously the food isn't 5-star or anything, but the food is actually good and you can get some pretty good value for the money by ordering specials and signing up for their rewards program. I always enjoy coming here and the service is always great. I can tell that sometimes they're a bit understaffed and it can definitely get hectic on the weekends, but I always leave feeling satisfied. P.S. This is not the place to go if you're watching your sodium intake. But that should be obvious.

For a restaurant in a crowded Queens mall this spot was a nice surprise. Kind + patient staff, kid-friendly menu, wide range of food options (from extra healthy to straight up comfort food), really tasty appetizers, and their signature desserts. Way better than the food court. YMMV so I'm not expecting it to always be a 5 star experience here but it definitely was during my latest visit in Dec 2025.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. It took a very long time for our orders to be taken, and no one checked on us to see if we were doing okay or needed anything. When we finally mentioned this to the waitress, she became upset, and the last margaritas were served in a rude manner. Good service is just as important as good food, and sadly this was lacking during our visit.

Ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken, and was deeply disappointed. The chicken was slightly undercooked and really salty, They only gave me ONE mushroom. The Mash and Shrimps were the only saving grace. My boyfriend ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken with Andouille Sausage and it was even saltier than my plate. When I told the waitress about there only being 1 mushroom on the plate, She proceeds to head over to a co-worker and laugh because she thought getting more mushrooms was a ridiculous request. Not a good experience at this Applebees, Go to any other one but this one.
