Davidson Brothers Brewing Company Glens Falls Reviews
My parents have been coming here for the wing special every week and it was great! Alex took great care of us and was very personable with my parents. I would recommend anyone in the area stopping by
5/5 recommend. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Downeast cider on tap! Can't get that where I'm from, so was very happy. Also, dogs allowed! They even have a dog menu. Will definitely be back!
Have eaten at Davidson's at all times of the day. Even when the place is hopping, the service good. The servers have always been friendly. The food is fantastic and the beer is great. It's been fun working my way through the menu, everything is always excellent. If you can grab a seat on the patio on a warm day, it's a great place for lunch in the summer.
This place is great. My fiancé and I make it a point to drive over an hour once a month to this place and it is well worth it every time.
We'll I have to say one of the best places to eat is here. Me an my lady showed up at 10 pm an the kitchen was closing an the cook noticed us outside an came out an said he would cook for us. Wow really I was shocked. Love this place my waitress where awesome food to die for. Thank you so much to the staff an cook..
Everything about this place is a sure win. We had no clue whether dogs are allowed, but they were beyond accommodating to our furry friend. We showed up for the beer, but HAD to try their beer chili. Lets just say that I am heading to the store in a bit to try and replicate that chili! (We are back in south jersey). Great variety of beers and waitress was sweet, which was a plus.
I went with some friends and had the fried burger and a couple of beers. The food, drinks, and service were all great. My only complaint would be the volume of the band on the street, while they were good it was hard to carry on a conversation without yelling across the table.
Had a terrific lunch today at Davidson’s. The service was impeccable. They were very accommodating to our dog providing water and treats. Will definitely go back. Thank you for the great experience.
Fantastic food, highly recommend the Cod. Best I've ever had. The beer is great as well, recommend you try the pick 6 on first visit. Service was nice and friendly. Multiple visits down and many to come!
My fiancé and I stop here when on the random and rare occasion that we get a night or lunch hour by ourselves. We have two toddlers and whenever we stop, the bartender Alex immediately recognises us and asks about the kids and brings up precious conversations we’ve had even though we will go months without stopping in. The beers are of course delicious, food is always good whenever we get it, and Alex makes a delicious cocktail. The atmosphere is comfortable and we always pick coming here when it’s just us for a little night out.
We had our rehearshal dinner in the upstairs space, and it was amazing! Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere. The only downfall was that the bartender was overwhelmed with the number of people, which slowed down the drink orders.
Amazing high quality restaurant. Food is largely if not wholly scratch made, amazingly fresh tasting, and mouth watering. The service was attentive and friendly. My beer was excellent. Could not ha e had a better experience.
Came for our 49th wedding anniversary. Sat outside beautiful evening. Music and entertainment outstanding Food was excellent service freat
Delicious food and a awesome atmosphere! The Mexican street corn was so good and beer and cocktails hit the spot. The live music keep the night fun and upbeat. We had 6 adults & 2 kids and it was the perfect place for everyone. We will definitely be back!
Stopped in here for a beer and some appetizers. Everything was delicious and ready fast. The staff was friendly.
4 adults, 2 very tired children. The server expedited the children's food to save the day. All meals were excellent. The coleslaw was unexpectedly delicious with a unique addition of cumin. Cesar Salad had the perfect amount of dressing. It was delicious tavern food. The servers was excellent! With a shortage of staffing currently, the team Witwatersrand impressive.
Very cool brewpub with excellent beers and tasty food.
So grateful for the space for kids upstairs! Wish more restaurants did this. Makes dining out fun for all. Great food - lovely ambiance! I want to give this place more than five stars!
We haven't been to Davidson Brothers since 2010. It was 💯 then, it still is now. Tonight was the, 'best dinner we've had in a restaurant,' according to my 6y/o. He was right. The beer is still incredible. The menu has something for everyone without being as long as Anna Karenina. Tonight's service was provided to our table seamlessly by multiple members of the front of house staff. That's a mark of an excellent team. So often things are left out when multiple members engage your table. No so here. Davidson's is one of the OG brewpubs. Often these establishments lose their way, not so here. We will return much sooner next time.
We loved everything about this place. We went on a Friday night before a hockey game. It's a close walk to the arena. We made reservations and sat right away. The tables were between dividers which made it seem like we had our own little private room. The service was fantastic. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. All of the food was delicious. Everyone had something different and no one was unhappy. The beer selection is great and everything we tried was great too. Would highly recommend this place to anyone
Hadn't been to a bar since Covid set in last March. I'm glad I made this place my first bar back. I ate the Memphis Mac and Cheese, and it was as close to a religious experience as I've had in a while. I don't know if they're putting narcotics in it or what, but damn, it was good (and I used to be a cooking teacher). All of the staff were super friendly, and the bartender was awesome (although I'm worried about his fantasy football team, drafting this early). Great experience. Great place.
Stopped in for the Thursday night specials. Worth the price. Bartender and waitstaff were very accommodating. Wing special is a bargain and good flavor. Worth the stop.
We grab lunch here when in town and it is always a nice place with good food. Staff is always super attentive.
Excellent service. Had a portabella sandwich and it was delicious! I'm not a vegetarian but enjoyed it occasionally. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely come back.
Everything about Davidson Brothers Brewpub is wonderful. The selection of food, brew, and their tasty cocktails. It's a great place for friends and family to get together.
Wonderful place. They immediately brought my puppy a bowl of water and a treat. Large menus great food great beer. Will definitely be back! Super nice employees.
Our group, with kids in tow, showed up here on our way back from Lake George. Super nice experience and the food was on point! Every meal from the short rib dip, ahi tuna tacos, Buffalo chicken wrap, THE BEET SALAD 🔥 and all 5 kids meals were great. Great customer service from the owner, who hooked the kids up with some $$ to play in the arcade area upstairs. This gave the adults a welcome break! Salute! If we are in the area again, we will be back.
The food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place!
Food is always amazing. Alex and Kerry are wonderful. Alex makes amazing drinks and is so friendly. Kerry really cares that everyone is happy and does her utmost to ensure that customers are satisfied with every aspect of their dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment.
Great brew pub. Two floors of tables. The service was friendly and quick on the first floor. Extensive beer and food menu. I had the clam chowder to start, it was excellent. The wings were quite large for the order and very tasty, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The special includes a pumpkin moose dessert, which was flavorful and creamy.
Is there a rating higher than 5 stars? If so, it should be reserved for Davidson Brothers Brewing. Although we've since relocated to North Carolina, we returned to the Glens Falls area for our son's wedding. At his and his fiancée’s suggestion, we reached out to Davidson Brothers Brewing to host the rehearsal dinner—and we’re so glad we did. We first visited the brewery in late June and were blown away by the food and beer selection. Fast forward to this past weekend: the rehearsal dinner for over 60 guests was the perfect kickoff to the wedding festivities. Kerry and the entire team at Davidson Brothers were outstanding throughout the planning process. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made everything seamless. The evening went off without a hitch, and we received countless compliments from guests about the venue choice. We couldn’t agree more—Davidson Brothers Brewing is a gem in the heart of Glens Falls. With fantastic food, exceptional beers, and a welcoming ambiance, it’s the perfect destination for a casual drink, a great meal, or a memorable event.
We visited here for dinner with friends last Saturday, the 13th. It was an overall positive experience. It was a bit quiet for a Saturday night, but still early in the dinner hour. And there were some groups enjoying outside dining as well. Our waitress was great - very pleasant, returning to check on us, but also allowing us space to enjoy our food and conversation. The food was very good. We enjoyed the beer cheese that is served with the pretzel sticks so much that we saved the rest for our fries. Boneless chicken wings were a perfect heat as well. I found the burger to be average, but nothing special, especially considering the price. Burgers priced at $20 or more should offer a little something "more", but the burger itself was an average/standard patty and nothing else about it raised it any higher. My husband ordered a brownie sundae which was very large and reportedly delicious (I did try a few bites of the brownies and found it really good.) Overall the food was good, the prices a bit high, and the service and experience pleasant. I would definitely go back for their wing night (includes boneless) on Thursdays. Recommend for that or if you are in the area.
Today; July 13th was Davidson Brothers Brewpub’s first Sunday brunch! This was AWESOME! Food options were great! ( note; the menu attached is actually missing their pancakes. They have them. It just did not make it into the menu.) Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy or the breakfast burrito! The staff is wonderful! And live music! This may be an every week occurrence for us. Did I mention the spectacular bottomless Bloody Mary’s???? DB’s is worth the trip from Lake George or Saratoga for sure!
My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back home from a trip. We really enjoyed their food last summer so we figured we stop again. Their food was so good, even better than last time! I ordered the classic cheeseburger- and I got Gouda on it. The burger had a good crunch to it, as you bite through the bun. The fries were super tasty as well- had a good texture and they were salted with flakey sea salt. I ordered the Pear Ginger Crush and this drink was so refreshing! We were impressed by the bartender who was running food and drinks for the entire place. 10/10 Attached is a picture of our order from last year
So we had take out one evening and we were disappointed, but this is where 5 stars comes to play. I called and let them know for feedback. A manager got in touch within a few days and actually gifted us a gift card from the owner to try it again…. So we decided to go have dinner there in person. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out not only was the atmosphere, food, beverages and service outstanding. Our server was named Alex who was very friendly and attentive. I took plenty of pictures of our dishes (winter red sangria, poutine, beef au jus dipper, and chicken Alfredo)… so I’m going to post. But just wanted to share a great experience and also a good local business who made sure to go above and beyond to make us definitely go back but recommend as well! Thanks Davidson’s brothers. And a thank you to Rachel and Alex for helping make a great dinner and experience in glens falls.
The PERFECT stop for hungry, weary travelers returning home from a great time in the Adirondacks. Dog and kid friendly, great beers and fantastic food. Don’t miss their Award Winning Agave Spice rubbed wings!!!! There is a fun kid room upstairs, a menu for the dog and most importantly a pleasant and engaging staff who were an absolute pleasure to chat with!!!
We stopped here after riding the canal bike trail, looking for good cold refreshments and lunch. The beer selection had a nice variety and the mixed drink section had some creative concoctions. They had a contactless menu too. I ordered an "It's 5 o-clock somewhere" and it was excellent, it had a nice tropical refreshing taste and I've not had something quite like that before. For food we got the burgers, the Brewer's burger was great and the pickled onions on the burger really stood out and gave it a nice flavor profile. The tater tots were definitely housemade, light and crispy. The onion petals were also tempting and sure to be good with the fry batter they use. Plenty of shaded seating too in a nice clean walk way off the main road!
I only stopped here for a beer and the brussel sprouts appetizer, which were both delicious. Yet I've been drinking their beer for ages. The ambiance here is great. And the staff was super friendly. If the rest of the food menu is as good as the rest of the beer, this would is killer.
Smaller than expected given that the beer brand is almost universally available, but still plenty of space to find a table. The menu is varied and has good dietary options, and the food I've had there is all quite good. The beer list is Davidson standards - nothing ground breaking and occasionally pretty far from the stated style (scotch ale is.. not), but reliably tasty and suitable for lubricating a meal.
My wife and I had a lite lunch here on 11/4/15. We found the atmosphere to be very welcoming and comfortable. The service was good, and the pricing was fair. We had a flight of beer which we really liked. This brewery / brewpub is one of the early ones, having it's start back in the 1990s, way before the craft beer craze began in the USA. These guys are some of NY state's craft beer pioneers. Their location in Glens Falls NY is really nice. I highly recommend you stop here and enjoy the food, brew, and welcoming atmosphere.
The food was pretty good, Mexican street corn bake dip was to die for, and our server Tom was the absolute best!!!!!! He did such a great job taking care of us as we were a big group of 7. So impressed!
Awesome service always smiling. Never a bad meal! Extremely attentive. Games upstairs for the kids. Great atmosphere. Short walk from any of the downtown parking.
We decided on this restaurant as our team finished a hockey skills tournament at Cool Insuring Center and they could accommodate a group of 20+. Unlike other restaurants we have tried, the staff here was able to take care of us. Our waiters were Alicia and Brandon and we never had to wait for anything. The buffalo chicken soup was blah but the French onion soup was very good. We split the fried calamari and a pub sandwich, very good tasting. The kids were able to play the arcade games as we were seated on the second floor. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
Waitress i believe her name was Jessica who was also behind the bar earlier in the day was excellent. I was there with my daughters for dinner. Her service was great. She was friendly and personable. Great waitress. She deserves a raise.
The 4 stars is due to a great waitress service which helped the rating by a lot. Beer was good, they are also very covid safe so that’s a plus too. Food was very average, like someone mentioned before avocado in tacos was too hard, cheeseburger too dry and pasta just ok. But they do have good people working there. We tipped right for the server as he has nothing to do with the food quality.
Visiting for a soccer tournament. Very helpful squeezing in a group of 20 on the fly. Excellent waitress who clearly could handle a large group efficiently. Nice atmosphere and decor. Food was expensive and only okay. Nothing wrong, but, for the price, not spectacular.
Stopped by after a visit to the Hyde. Really wonderful service, great food in generous portions. One curiosity was that I was under the impression that this was a brewpub, and they seem not to be brewing anything. The taps (and bottles and cans) on offer, to the good, are all regional products of high quality.
We love every visit to Davidson Bros. The food and drink never disappoint, they often have live music, and the service is accommodating and friendly. They have a great upstairs play room for kids and teens (and adults, let’s be real), plus the patio outside is lovely on a summer evening. Our little one loves that the kids meals come in a fun little bento box with sides and snacks. We always have a great meal at Davidsons!
Came here for lunch and a beer, friendly greeting at the door, waitress was super nice and helpful, fast food service but the pub burger was mediocore, not fall out of the chair great. Defenitly not a fresh burger, frozen or something. Love their beers however, just need to make better burgers to earn a five star.
The outdoor patio was relaxing and enjoyable. The service was okay. At the time we visited we were told there was a no-tipping policy because the restaurant paid their servers a "decent wage." As a result, our burgers, fries and beer were pricier than normal. The burger was a bit overcooked and dry, but not a disaster. The fries were nothing special. I ordered a flight of beers, but they were all disappointingly nondistinct and ordinary. There are far better brewpubs out there.
The service and beer were great but the food took forever and it was cold when it came out. Whenever the kitchen door was open we could see the cooks just there with no urgency. They kept on coming out to the restaurant to see if it was still "busy" walking back and fourth. It's a small place and small menu and the food has a lot of potential but instead we get cold burgers because the cooks were more concerned if they had to work instead of actually working.
Had it not been for the incredibly slow service I woiod have given this four stars. The ahi nachos are absolutely amazing. Great patio atmosphere with live local musicians. Fish and chips has little flavoring, fries are well seasoned though. Smoked half chicken was great but the mac and cheese side had very little flavor.
Service and atmosphere were exceptional. Menu prices are good, with gratuity factored in already. Only had appetizers and beer, and both were on par with typical brew pub fare. Nothing to write home about, but certainly not terrible.
Beer was good, service was outstanding, food could be much better. Basic pub food is not hard to cook yet this missed the mark. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If you want people to return, hire a good chef, put out consistently good food and good service. Not hard!
Went here for a function last night and because upstairs wasnt wheelchair accessible, some attendees couldnt make it to the event. Maybe bad on the event organizers part, but also isnt this against code? Not sure but disappointed. The food was just okay, the beer was not up to par. I did love the area upstairs, it was decorated nice, good for a small private function.
Nice looking place, waitstaff was super friendly! But the food wasn’t that good. Got taco-Mac. They use shells which in my option are horrible for anything! Had no taste whatsoever ever. More like buttered pasta. Other half had the stout pulled chicken sandwich with chips. She didn’t like either. She didn’t elaborate either. Pretty pricey too!
Service was really good our waitress was very nice. We went with friends and all the plates and beers that we ordered were very bad, we ordered a kid menu too and the chicken tenders were super burnt 🔥 almost impossible for my kid to eat it. We are not coming back.
My 3 stars are just for the food. The waiter was great - super friendly and helpfull. Beer was good as well. Many choices on the menu, which is great, and soup samples that we ordered were not bad either. My cousin and I were very dissatisfied with entrees. I cook at home all the time, and I can guarantee our dishes were not made to order. If I go there again, it would be just for the atmosphere and beer and maybe some appetizers.
The IPA was as great as ever. My pizza was not crisp and was tough. My wife’s burger was good. Daughter had apple turkey sandwich. Very soggy. Grandsons fries were cold and the chicken tenders were way over cooked and we had to order 2 kids because he is 17 and above the children’s age
Super quiet, we were the only 2 people at bar, beer and cider were decent.
Up from western Massachusetts to see the Thunder play and picked your restaurant to eat before the game.Busy night with reservations but didn’t have to wait long.Very pleasant staff.Took a little bit to get the waitress over but it was fine, there was a party of nine before us.Ordered drinks as well as our order at the same time.Drinks came quickly but food took a little bit but that’s fine,it was busy.Food came out and all but one party’s food was not warm.Didn’t say anything because we were hungry and it was busy. Not really impressed with the price of the food(meatloaf sando, chicken tacos) $26 and $22 for the amount of food.Meatloaf looked a burger cut in half and the tacos were underwhelming. Was disappointed in this restaurant in regards of the food.Service was excellent, awesome ambience and waitress was top notch.Food was meh and kinda overpriced for the quality and not warm.
We live relatively local and used to frequent Davidson's, but the prices of food are now rediculous. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with fries and it was $19.00! The portions certainly aren't worth the asking price, especially for food that is just heated up and thrown on a plate. I love the beer and atmosphere but I can get more for my buck elsewhere.
I ordered a fish taco to go last Friday, and the avocado slices were not even remotely ripe. They were literally too hard to chew & had to be picked out & thrown in the garbage before I could enjoy my meal. Very dissatisfied!
Solid place but if going with a big party I wouldn't recommend. If I was rating only on beer and food I'd give four stars. However, we waited almost 40 mins for our bill and over an hour and 20 mins. For our food. Food came at separate times and in no particular order. Kids meals came almost 30 mins. before adults, and then the adults food came all at different times. It's unfortunate because left a bad taste in everyone's experience.
Update: Summer 2013 - Should have known it was too good to be true. Food started going seriously downhill at the beginning of this Summer. The service did, too. Then, we start hearing about crazy behavior, bizarre and unfair business practices on the part of the owner. Had heard this sort of thing before, but like a lot of things you hear, we just wrote it off as he said/she said hearsay... Things seemed to be looking pretty good last year. Now, we're getting first hand accounts of bad ju-ju from downtown merchants, some of whom have recently been on the receiving end of this insane behavior and these bizarre choices. We're talking "cut off your own nose to spite your face" kind of decision making, here. And it's left some really good people in a really bad way. Not good, Mr Davidson. Your restaurant simply can't continue to survive these yo-yo like shifts in quality of food and service. Plus, this is the kind of small town where neighbors care about and stand up for each other. Eventually, people will just stop coming.... Summer 2012 - I have to start by saying that I walked into this place NOT wanting to like it. Sounds strange, I know... BUT, we've had several bad experiences at Davidson Bros. over the years. The only reason we decided to give it another try recently, was because there wasn't anyplace else in town that was open at 8PM this past Memorial Day and we were starving. Not only was it great that night, but we've been back 4 or 5 times since and have had delicious food and much to our surprise, excellent service. I think one of the reasons that it's improved so much, is that we haven't had to deal with or see RD (co-owner) at all. As other reviews have stated, he is not a pleasant person and his erratic and rude behavior has turned many locals away in the past. The live entertainment has been excellent, too. As for the beer... Other half is a bit of a beer snob and has been very pleased with a few of the newer offerings. (Swimming Cow, I-87 and Belgian White, specifically) Keep the current chef & wait staff and keep RD away from the patrons as much as possible and we'll keep coming back. (and bringing friends)
Visited over the weekend and wasn't super impressed. Ordered wings and while the flavor is good, they were super overcooked and dry. The prices are very high, $20 mexican street corn dip, $20 burgers, $20 quesadilla, $27 fish and chips and $12 for 6 wings? The portions are way too small for the price and quality doesn't match either. Also, not a fan of that bartender, hard to describe but his behavior is... odd and too forward.
I had to go to the bar and hostess to find our drinks after waiting for the waitress to return with our drinks, which was over 20 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all. We did get our appetizers after an hour; however, the waitress never came back to get our dinner order. We did feel bad for her because she looked like she was on the verge of tears. Our soups tasted like “this was the day to throw out the batch.” The owner did apologize and explained she would take the drinks off the bill. That would have been nice… but she did not. Two appetizers, two small cups of soup, two beers and a glass of house wine - $75.00. Yikes! We just paid the bill and wanted to get out of there to find something to eat for dinner.
Extremely underwhelming beer, overpriced mediocre/bad food, decent service. Not sure how this place is still open. You can get way better food and drinks elsewhere in town for less money.
Established Brew pub since 1996, I sat at the bar. I ordered their original IPA. No hop flavor, bitterness, or aromatic. Before dinner new England clam chowder was chalky like it was thickened with flour. I ordered a steak frité supposedly infused with smoked bacon fat and carmalized onions. It was nothing but a grizzly NY strip steak with maple syrup dumped on top of it. The veggies with the dish were under cooked. The Distracted bartender. Figured I didn't need to drink with my dinner.
Visited for lunch. We were 1 of 2 patrons in the restaurant. Our soup/appetizers were followed within minutes by the main course leaving no time to eat one or the other without sacrificing temperature. The salad was well presented and fresh but everything else looked lazy. We definitely felt like the cook was fitting in our meals while prepping for dinner. One slice of lettuce on a sandwich coupled with the end piece of a tomato and 6 whole potato wedges was underwhelming. The server was friendly but spent her time flirting with someone within earshot. Even when I went in search of my own condiments, she was not inspired to up her game. Finally, INCREDIBLY overpriced for the quality and portions.
My husband and I walked in for an early dinner and the hostess greeted us with such a rude tone when I smiled and asked for a table for two. She scolded us for not having reservations and didn't bother to let us know the anticipated wait time. I've got no idea about the food or beer quality and I never will as I'll never go back.
After a Memorial Service, several family members joined us for dinner Sunday evening on the 25th. My son's girlfriend and I were excited to be able to order the Impossible burger (I have been vegetarian for almost 30 years). I asked about the "signature sauce and the waitress informed me that it was an aioli with bacon flavoring. I was confused and she confirmed that it had bacon flavoring. I asked to keep the sauce off. When the dinner came, the burger was overcooked, and there was no lettuce or tomato. The overcooked burger was $20.00.
Beer was okay. Food was extremely subpar and overpriced. The beef brisket sandwich was inedible - the brisket slices had large chunks of fat attached, yet was somehow bone dry at the same time. It was flavorless, and hard to chew since it was sliced with the grain. After I sent back that abomination of a beef brisket sandwich, I ordered a burger, done medium well. What I received was an unseasoned burger cooked extremely well. I sent that back too and decided to just leave. Interestingly enough, my boyfriend ordered a burger and was never asked what temp he wanted it cooked to, so it was served to him well done. The server should know better, but I guess the "talent" in the kitchen only knows how to cook burgers well done. Brenda, the manager, stopped by our table to apologize, and I told her how the brisket was untrimmed and not sliced in the correct way (against the grain). She immediately got offended and as she walked away said, "I'm sure the chef knows what he's doing." He obviously does not, otherwise he would be able to do something as basic as remove fat from and how to slice brisket, or cook a burger. We will never come back, and I would encourage you to do the same. It was a terrible experience, and I was livid after receiving such an attitude from the manager of all people, especially after such an awful meal. Would rate this place 0 stars if I could.
Owner steals tips from waitstaff. Terrible ownership and management. They pool tips and the owner steals from over the top funds. They fire anyone who asks questions about tips. Its incredibly illegal for both owner and manager to be stealing from tipping pool. Not the first time they have been caught doing it. Go somewhere that respects their employees. Overpriced mediocre food and owners with sticky fingers and labor that is screwed over but afraid to stand up for themselves.
Went there with a very large party on Sat. night. Food was fine, waitstaff was very friendly but my family and I personally witnessed the Manager or Owner ( older blonde/grey haired female with grandma jeans) verbally abuse and degrade the wait staff numerous times in front of the customers.. was actually disgusting watching this, they have a no tipping policy also which we figured after watching there abuse is most likely a attempt to steal tips from there wait-staff ... Felt very sad for there employees and wanted to speak out on there behalf .
I have been to over 350 breweries. DB will always stick out in my mind as the worst I've ever visited. The place itself is ok, nothing special but not horrendous. But the beer...my god, it's so bad. A sampler gave me 6 absolutely terrible beers, all with disgusting off-flavors indicitive of obvious brewing errors that anyone with any experience in homebrewing would easily know how to identify, and that anyone with a palate for craft beer would be repulsed by. The waitress asked my wife and I what our favorite was, and we were both bereft of a response. She should've asked which one was least hard to choke down. The food was sub mediocre, edible, but not great. I honestly don't know how this place has been in business so long. Don't go out of your way to come here, but if you are in town, check out the other breweries nearby, which are much better.
Will never recommend this place.. Starting from the Hostess to the Waitress, they did not want us there. Either because of the color of my skin or they surely don't know how to treat their customers. Never have I felt this unwelcome into a restaurant in this country. First they seat us in front of the restroom, when asked to change, even though they did eventually reseat up with reluctance, they made up a story that they had a larger group coming (who never showed up)... During the one hour we spent there the waitress spoke to us 3 times. On top of it their fish taco in the menu clearly states, guacamole and sour cream and the wait staff insists the guac and sour cream is what is mixed and blended into a cilantro lime sauce.. Total disappointment... Regardless of what other people have written and give 5 stars, this attitude is a total non starter and should never be displayed in any restaurant in this country. We have an African American President for crying out loud....what world are they in ...
No one greeted us. There was only 3 other people in the establishment. There were 4 workers in the back. Took 10 awhile for someone to even acknowledge me, nonetheless get a beer. Then the pour of my beer didn't fill the glass. Very sad for an expensive drink.
As a long time customer (20 yrs) I will never set foot in this restaurant/bar again because I feel the environment has become openly hostile and confrontational. Rick, the owner, tells his long-time customers, including myself, that we are 'wrong' to have opinions that differ from his. I will go where my business is appreciated.
Wow this was quite literally the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Burger king would have been a better option. The service was meh the food was better in my elementary school cafeteria in the 90's. I'm guessing this place depends on tourists, because if you've been here once, you definitely wouldn't go back. Fishy smelling/tasting calamari 🤮 Soggy wet nachos that were cold and sent back twice. Obviously whoever runs this place does not care about anything...
This was one of the worst meals we’ve ever eaten. To be honest, we couldn’t even finish it because it was that disgusting. The Buffalo chicken wrap cost $18, and it was the smallest wrap we’ve ever been served. The sauce on the chicken tasted terrible and was watery. We had to pay another $3 for onion rings which weren’t even cooked all the way. The bartender also couldn’t be bothered to ask how we were doing or if we enjoyed our meal. The food is ridiculously expensive and not edible. Save yourself from eating at this terrible restaurant!
Have not been here in a long time, and will be making this my last visit here. Poor service, two other parties in the restaurant, waited five minutes for a drink, waited another ten to order food while our server watched football.
Had a terrible experience here last night. I ordered the steak with cognac mushrooms medium and got a well done steak with no mushrooms and a bizarre combination of soggy chips and roast squash. Partner ordered medium-well done Wagyu burger and got an almost raw, dripping blood burger. Two disappointing main courses and three drinks was $100. Overpriced, mediocre food - don't recommend at all.
Place was empty still took our table over an hour to get our food. The price of everything is very expensive for what it is.
Never going there ever again! This restaurant ruined my birthday. We had 6 people, and 4 out of 6 of us barely touched our food. I had the fish in chips; the fish was made in dirty fryer oil and was burnt on the outside. Two people ordered the Memphis Mac, which they complained was disappointing for the price, and that the flavor was not good. One person ordered Brew Pub Nachos, the cheese tasted like nothing, and the flimsy plastic containers caused her to spill her sour cream all over her. The kid's meal is so overpriced for what it is. The mac and cheese had no cheesy flavor at all and tasted like heavy cream. $170 wasted on food that tasted so bad and so overpriced for what it is. I'm not too sure what the policy for birthdays is, but the most I got was a "happy birthday" from the waitress. Very disappointing considering most restaurants at least do a free dessert or drink. I do not recommend at all!!
