Taqueria Grover Beach Reviews
Best authentic Mexcan food. Where locals go. Taco Tuesday rocks $1.54 tacos 10 per 1 drink ordered.
Probably the best burrito of my trip and maybe my life?? First off, I think it was like $10?! Maybe more idk but I definitely for more than my moneys worth!! It was HUGE and *loaded* with toppings!! They had mild and spicy salsa and both were flavorful. The employees were so sweet and accommodating. Highly highly recommend!! This place needs to stay in business forever!
My Tuesdays just got a whole lot tastier. Taco Tuesday dreams come true at Taqueria San Miguel! 🌮 For less than $2 per taco their deal is an absolute steal! Fresh, flavorful tacos piled high with all the good stuff. The al pastor is a must-try! Friendly staff, quick service, and a fiesta in every bite.
Everything I ordered was delicious. I say everything because in my short stay in the area, I came here 4 times. Two dinners, two breakfasts. My favorite was the 805 breakfast burrito (chorizo bacon eggs guacamole fries). The beans and rice with spicey sauce were soooo good too!! Now this place is more of a order and go, because of the limited space. But there is a beach right down the road. Burritos and sunsets, um... yes please. Tasty food, great people, good times. If you are still reading this, go check it out!
This place, oh man. I only got here because I followed the smell from the carne al pastor from one block away. I never expected to find myself with the best burrito maybe in all California. The carne al pastor was amazing, basically like the pastor that you would eat at home with your family. I’m fortunate to cross paths with this place. God bless you all beautiful people from Taqueria San Miguel for make this happen.
Great food, service and sitting area. Authentic fresh food.
Love the food here. I load up whenever i come into town. Its a must see place for us. Especially on tuesdays.

I call myself a connisuer of Asada Fries, and Taqueria San Miguel crafts the BEST ones on the Central Coast! They are a work of art! Highly recommend! 10/10!
Taco Tuesday is $1.59 tacos with the purchase of a drink. They have 6 or 7 different meats for Taco Tuesday, I tried all of them and they're delicious. Definitely will be back!
This little restaurant is a hidden gem! Everything is good but I specifically come here for my breakfast burrito fix.
My husband and I are new to the area, and this has become our go-to taco spot. We love going on Taco Tuesday or getting the quesabirria tacos. The workers are always so kind and the food never disappoints — whether it’s ordered there or for pickup.
The food is tasty and the prices are fair. I was a little disappointed that the red chicken enchilada wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped, but the fresh salsa and flavorful tacos more than made up for it. I recommend ordering à la carte and adding sides of rice and beans instead of getting the combo plate—it’s a better way to mix and match what you like.
My boyfriend and I got the Asada fajita burrito and Shrimp fajita burrito and although it seems pricy, they were huge! And amazing! 10/10! Will definitely come back
The food was really good but I can say it was a bit unsavory with the people milling about. One looked like a tweeker talking about himself.

Food was very tasty and affordable, real gem for burritos and 10 min walk from the ocean.

The first time we went for breakfast and it was great! The breakfast tacos and chiliquiles were great.... The 2nd time though my husband asked for breakfast tacos and when he opened the box when hr got home, he had 4 street tacos. We slso each got a strawberry drink, mine tasted sour... We figured we'd give them another chance.. well this 3rd time, I got a bean, cheese, rice burrito with guacamole and sour cream and my husband got the Cali burrito. We get home and my burrito had no rice and his had no fries. I dont know what's going on, but the cook isnt paying attention to the orders that are written down. The cashier is repeating them correctly. I think Im done trying this place. Disappointed 2 out of the 3 trimes we went.
It's ok, completely mid. Prices aren't too high, food is ok, only thing I really didn't like is they put boiled beans on everything, they don't have refried beans.

This use to be my favorite spot in all of 5 cities. As a local and taco lover, they delivered. Last 3 times the meat quality has steadily been declining. Tonight asada was over cooked, hard, grisly, stick in your teeth texture. I ordered 2 hours before close. I rather them say they are out of asada than have to endure that texture. I tried to douse in lime and hot sauce but eventually it out. Sucks to see a great place with great flavor profiles mishandle meat repeatedly.

This place used to be called Juanita's and that old Mexican lady sure could cook. She even made the tortillas herself and the burritos were huge and the carnitas was the best. One burrito was enough to feed two people and always came with a huge side of beans and rice.... all for $7.99! NOW, the servings are still big, but substantially less and the tortillas aren't homemade and the meats are either flavorless or over salted and WAY overcooked. And the price is higher. It always sucks when you have something so consistent and delicious and it changes for the worse. I wish that it was still Juanita's.... makes me sad.
We went here on new Year's Day 2026 because we didn't want to cook. Everything was just middle of the road flavor wise, except the al pastor. It was sooo dry I checked it twice to make sure it wasn't beef jerky! The meat was also super salty, I only made it halfway through the burrito. My partner had the vegetable sopes and said it was just alright. It was also $60 for 2 dishes, 2 horchata. We won't be back
Unfortunately found most of the dishes that we ordered to be far too salty to finish. It would have been tasty if that amount of salt had not been added.
