My first time to Eat at Thai Lai. Food tastes really good. Out of the 3 dishes I ordered, nothing is heavy on soy sauce, fish sauce or hoisin sauce. Everything is tasty without being too salty. The baguette (Bahn Mi) is crispylicious! I love it! The price is right and they are NOT assuming like other restaurants that "suggests" a minimum tip percentage. We should support businesses like this! Bring cash cause it's a cash only restaurant. Ample parking beside the establishment! I will be a regular customer from now on.

When u eat at a hole in the wall place there's a good chance it's gonna be 🔥. And it was. Great place for 9am bun rieu (no blood) and bo bia 2 coun (sausage spring rolls).

It’s a small restaurant but good quality. The food is delicious & has right Vietnamese taste. For you guys who like soupy food, you should try mì Quảng or different types of bún, not just Phở. My bf is a big fan of bánh mì (Vietnamese baguette). He said this restaurant would be in his top 3 Viet bánh mì. The price here is so affordable. You’ll be surprised like “What?? In LA, with this price, are you kidding me?”. But dont forget to take cash with you. They’re good old fashioned Viet restaurant you should try.

This is the most amazing Vietnamese restaurant in all of Los Angeles! If you love, good Vietnamese food such as pho, ban Minh, noodle 🍜 dishes this place is the best! I eat here regularly at least two or three times a week. I love the family that owns it. They are so cordial so kind and so accommodating very attentive. Come and try it. You will definitely love everything.

Very busy restaurants that have variety of vietnamese dishes. Im having "Bánh Khọt, and Bún Bò Huế" and I really enjoy it. Love to try other dishes when I come back in town.. Owner and server are really friendly.

On our way home from LAX, the traffic was horrific, so we decided to stop in nearby to eat and hope that traffic dies down. We found this on Yelp, I had my parent's with me and we all had a taste for different dishes from different regions of Vietnam. Not often do we find a place that had everything we wanted to eat! We started off with savory pork and shrimp crepes, banh xeo. It was nice and hot right out of the oil. We loved how crispy it was with a hint of coconut milk in the batter. A lot of places tends to use the fatty pork pieces, but we liked that the pieces we got were leaner pieces. My dad's a huge fan of mi quang, so we got the a-ok nod from him. Mom loved her seafood egg noodles dry with broth and sauce on the side. She said the sauce was very good. Again, got the a-okay from mom. One of my favorite things in the world to eat is bun bo hue. It was fine, but needed more lemongrass, spicy oil. It wasn't a bit spicy, but overall still good. Now we have a place to go wait out the traffic!

Hidden Gem. Hands down this place has the best Bhan Mi in SoCal. Trust me on the Beef Bhan Mi. You won’t regret it.

It's a small Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant that I visit in the last at least 15 years. It's on the way to my work so I stop by often. They have a full menu of a variety of noodle and rice dishes but my favorite is alway the seafood noodle 'dry style ', broth served separate. I recommend this restaurant to all my co workers and friends! And the price is very reasonable which is a plus!😃 this is dry style shrimps & bbq pork that I always order! Delish!😊❤️

I finally experience an authentic Thai food. The food was great completely different from Americanized Thai. The flavor in the food is amazing 🤩 I originally came to try their pho 🍜 but I ended up getting their combination fried rice and their wontons and I fell in love 😻 They offer parking aswell! Service was excellent.

I have driven by this place several times and it doesn’t look like much on the outside but I had a good feeling about it. As soon as, we walked in the Aroma of the kitchen was Amazing!! Plenty of “pick up orders” on the countertop! Menu had lots of options. Pho and spring rolls +peanut sauce and flavors did not fail super yummy! Customers were eating happily just like us. Service was great and attentive. Returning soon !

My go to Pho spot was closed, so I decided to give this place a shot. When I received my order, I immediately knew something was off. NO BOWL!!! When I returned to work and opened my bag, there was the usual broth container and bags of veggies, however, the noodles and meat were in a square to-go box, NOT A BOWL. I looked for the little cup of hoisin sauce I'm accustom to, only to find one small packet! Really!? Not enough to give the Pho it's flavor. As much as I want to give 1 star, I can't because they do give you alot of food. I prefer quality NOT quantity, so I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning!
