My wife and I had a wonderful brunch here before the holidays. Our server, Hiram, was extremely attentive and made us feel right at home. I’m quite picky, and he also made sure we had all our food just as we wanted it. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here at just after they opened around 7:20ish am on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of sitting to choose from. The staff was attentive but also let you have your space; if you know what I mean. The food was tasty. I had the Chickichanga and my fiancee had multi-grain pancakes with fresh fruits with morning mediation. Only criticism I could give is that they put to much ice in the morning mediation or I just didn't drink it fast enough either way was a little watery at the end but still refreshing so I'm not complaining and suggest ask for light ice maybe?

Was very happy with our server Gabi. I have to admit that the last time I visited this restaurant, the person that took care of us had a bad attitude and seemed to be bothered in doing her job. But since I loved the food, I returned and gave the restaurant a second chance. Well, Gabi greeted us with a smile, took her time explaining menu items, and checked back with us several times. She was awesome and very attentive. Excellent customer service this time!

First Watch is always so busy for brunch on a Sunday. This is our first time to try one in Houston. When we arrived we were told it would be "a quick 15-20 minute" wait. Since it was so nice outside (crazy to say for Houston!), we walked around the block a couple of times and we really were notified in about 13 minutes that our table was ready. Our server, Hiram, was prompt, friendly and accurate with our order. He checked on us without being *too* present. Food is consistently good at First Watch. My husband really looks forward to his Frittata Rustica. I tried the crane asada tacos off the seasonal menu (yum!) and my college student loves the Belgium Waffle. My ONLY complaint is how loud it is when the dining room is as full as it is on a Sunday. Regardless though, as a table of 3, we were still able to have conversation.

I had the pleasure of being served by Takala during my breakfast this morning, and I just had to take a moment to acknowledge the fantastic experience. From the moment I sat down, Takala was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The service was prompt, and Takala made sure everything was to my liking. She took the time to explain the menu in detail and offered great recommendations based on my preferences. You can really tell that Takala genuinely cares about providing a great dining experience. The food came out hot and delicious, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. Takala's positive attitude and professional demeanor made my morning meal even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and hoping to be served by Takala again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Watch in River Oaks has quickly become our favorite brunch spot! 🥞 Their pancakes are absolutely delicious — fluffy, perfectly cooked, and easily the best in the area. The brunch menu overall is fresh, tasty, and always consistent. We were lucky to be helped by Davion, who gave us outstanding service! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place with great food, amazing light fluffy pancakes, and excellent service, this is it. Highly recommend!

We had a little accident during our visit—something that can happen to anyone—but the team handled it quickly and efficiently. They were incredibly caring and attentive throughout. The service and food were both excellent. French toast are definitely delicious. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and would definitely come back again.

This was my first visit at a First Watch location in Houston. The River Oaks location was amazing! The food was amazing as always, but the service was even better and really made our brunch experience memorable. The Food was decent.. we ordered the Smoked salmon eggs benedict. It wasn't the best I have had but it was good. The salad they served with it was very refreshing with the lemon vinaigrette. First Watch in Houston is the perfect spot for a morning pick-me-up! The breakfast portions are generous and satisfying — you definitely get your money’s worth. The atmosphere has great morning vibes, making it an ideal place to start your day. The service is friendly and attentive, and I was impressed by how clean and well-kept the bathroom was (always a good sign!). The coffee is excellent — strong, smooth, and served hot. You can tell the crowd here appreciates quality, too — it attracts a pretty elite and laid-back group of people. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a great breakfast experience.
