Great hidden gem of a “locals bar”.Service and the kitchen is on point! Will come back.Try it and you’ll like it.
Sweet little hole in the wall bar where you feel like you stepped back in time. Back to the way bars used to be LOL Smoking is strictly outside but everything else is DFW.

Love this place. Don't look at the old reviews from years ago. This place has changed a lot and I absolutely love it. Great Dive Bar, bartenders are very friendly 👌 The drinks are awesome too.
Super chill dive bar with an amazing Monday night steak night. Come in for cheap drinks and some cool regulars. Vibes 10/10
Great place to hang out and be yourself!! Drinks are great!! Go check it out parking in the back..
Nice place with relaxing drinks/Cocktails 😈, with a big variety of music played at that right level where you can create your own bubble or expand your feelings/amotions towards who's in the bar... including staff... For sure you would enter as one person and leave a totally transformed one (or two, even three) "for good". It's the place of that family you don't miss becouse you never had it, but you wish you had... Salud....!!!
Super inclusive dive bar where you feel included. The drinks are affordable and strong. It's not fancy nor is it trying to be. It's dog friendly and the AC blows COLD. This place is a rare gem, especially for the price. Parking can be tricky but there's ample parking in the back. There's an amazing food truck across the street.
Excellent place to have a drink and have a nice time.
My favorite little neighborhood bar in the area! Kasey has been an outstanding addition to the staff and I always enjoy walking in and being greeted by him. It can get busy in there so be sure to get a good spot to sit. Great tacos at the taco truck across the street as well!
Always the best service and drinks from Frick!
Very friendly dive bar, not fancy by any means, but if you wanna go somewhere you can feel at home...this is the place. Megan, Nick, Josie, and Gene are awesome people. 💕
It is rare to find a tiny, friendly, non-douchey bar in the inner loop in Houston to have one cocktail on your way home from work in the most walkable area of this city. This is one of few. It is also "local Houston." It's the way it used to be when many similar bars existed here. It is technically smaller than Manhatten bars in a town where EVERYTHING, including restaurant serving sizes, will feed four people on one entree. If you want to know this city for who it actually is, visit old-school mom-and-pop shops like this.
My favorite bar in Houston. Nick, Meagan and Josie are the best bar tenders! The food is always great. The vibe is always the best vibes. 10/10 recommend.

Odd place. Feels like it twists in and out of reality. The bartenders are attentive yet ethereal. The patrons are a menagerie of Houston's weirdest. Conversation runs like an ice floe breaking up in spring, slowly broken up by intermittent bursts of speed often with some degree of (mostly rhetorical) violence. Prices are fine. Don't know if I recommend or not, but the experience is unforgettable.
This is a very cool low key spot in a white two story house. I don't recall seeing a sign so you can pass it up. The drinks are reasonably priced. The bartender was really nice. I will definitely be back. I also heard there will be new management so I hope it won't change the nucleus of the bar.
Good place would have given five stars. The parking is not so great. Whoever lives upstairs are A HOLES. There are no signs where to park so you would think to park in the back. Who thought that there was people living upstairs. Long story short some guy who was bald was acting like an A HOLE cause someone park there. Have signs next time. If you park in the back be ready for some looking out the window eyeballing you. Don’t get me wrong the place is great love the drinks and the people there next time I come around hopefully that a hole is not there

I haven't been here in yrs and was totally shocked It's not even half the size I remember and we'll that's pretty much it Gone is the space the crowd the drink specials there was never easy parking but now that's not even on the table so good luck , unless you can park in the building next door It looks like the size of a one bedroom 😔 The bartender was nice but it's just not what I expected 😒

Just started going here and like the vibe and atmosphere. I can hang out, relax, and drink while talking to friends and listening to music. This will be a new hangout spot for me. The only issue was the parking, which there is some in the back but not the best if you have a large truck like I do.
Review amended 9/11/18 This bar has new owners and does not have the same feeling at all. This once local bar has lost it's luster. The dart board in the back is now a storage area, the baseball artifacts and artwork on the walls have been replaced with cheap memorabilia, and the beer selection has cut in half. Great dive bar! This baseball themed bar is a great neighborhood spot. I love coming here to grab a strong drink and watch the game. During baseball season they have a wall with all the teams baseballs in bracket from, so you can see who it in the lead! It was especially amazing when the only ball left on the wall was the Houston Astros one. They also have a great dart board in the back of the bar which is pretty secluded, so if your not very good you don't have to worry about people seeing you! I would definitely recommend checking out this local bar.
