Starstruck Coffee Hudson Yards Reviews
coolest family owned coffee shop in midtown with the most delicious beverages & pastries, as well as the best playlists! my favorite tradition is trying to guess what will be playing when i walk in for my yummy cortado or matcha latte. the hospitality is beyond 5 stars, you’d be a fool to skip this spot. thank you for always putting a smile on my face💙
If you’re looking for a food experience that feels like a bite of heaven right here on earth, Startruck is the place to be. Nestled on 35th and 9th in Manhattan, this hidden gem serves up dishes that dazzle the senses and leave your taste buds dancing. Every bite is bold, creative, and unforgettable. This coming from a Mexican cook 🧑🍳. Just come and enjoy 😉
I walked out of my way to come to this place because it has 4.7 Stars. I was not disappointed. It's a very charming and unique. The other reviews I read sum it up pretty well. It's got a rock and roll vibe in short of antique charm. The coffee was good, and the almond croissant I had was great. It's really small so it don't come with a large group. The service was delightful. I absolutely adored this place!
So glad we found this place on the first day of our trip to NYC, after we had their coffee we didn’t need to look anywhere else! We made 4 trips and tried their coffee, breakfast, pastries and it still wasn’t enough - I will be counting down the days until I’m back! This family is so kind and welcoming and they have the coolest decor and music taste. Everyone should try this place, especially the baklava!!! ❤️
Found this coffee shop right by our hotel, and we went every single morning of our trip! Coffee was amazing, as well as a great selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Baklava is a must try! Super welcoming environment, cool decor, just a wonderful memory of our trip! Next time I’m in New York this will be one of my first stops!
This was one of the best discoveries I made in New York. The food is absolutely delicious and this is probably the best coffee I've had here. The moment you step into the shop you feel and see the comfortable atmosphere this shop has. It is small but that's what makes it so sweet. But most importantly the people working here are very sweet. They are an immediate pick-me-up and treated us very kindly. I am here with my friends from Germany and the man here can speak German. So that was a very nice way to connect with people here. I will definitly come back to this place as often as I can:)
Iconic coffee shop, the family that owns it is the sweetest. Really good coffee and Turkish sweets, and I love what they did with the place, they have music instruments and LP covers on the walls, its a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend
Came here for breakfast and was really impressed. The service was very friendly and polite and the breakfast/coffee was reasonably priced. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and it was a good amount of food and delicious. I also liked the decor inside. Would come again if I am in the area
Popped in to rest my feet after some writing and had a great experience! I asked for a suggestion-- I think I was made an iced latte with rose vanilla and chocolate? I told them I like everything and this didn't disappoint. The coffee was delicious and the vi e inside is cozy and comfortable. I definitely will make it a usual stop when im in the area!
A small and cozy cafe, with a beautiful interior, you can while away the time before the appointment, drinking a cup of tea or coffee with dessert, as I did ) I took a cappuccino with oat milk and a danish with cherries, I really liked it, it was very tasty. Danish was brought to me on a very beautiful plate and coffee in a cup, it is nice, because basically everywhere they serve in disposable cups. The waiting time passed quickly and pleasantly with good music and I happily ran about my business. Thank you Starstruck coffee.
We came to Manhattan for an entire week and found right around our corner this magnificent family owned coffee shop with a diverse menu and delicious coffee. The owners are the sweetest people and so attentive and cordial. Papa’s name Irfan Tas, his wife Mama’s name Cemile Tas and their awesome daughter Gunes Tas and their son Deniz will be happy to provide the best service and flavors possible! Make sure you stop by if you’re close by, they are located at 454 9th ave West in Manhattan NY. Thank you Papa, Mama and their son Deniz and their amazing daughter Gunes for making us feel so welcome every day we visited you guys for amazing coffee and delicious pastries! Next time we will stop by and make sure we say hi and enjoy your place!
Overall: 2.9/5 I often noticed their A-frame sign on my commute to work, and the vibrant blue drink featured on it always caught my eye. On my last morning of commuting, I finally decided to give it a try. The cafe has a distinctive charm, blending an antique aesthetic with a rock & roll vibe. It's a very small space, with just 2-3 tables, I ordered the hot Lithium Coffee ($7.50) with Oat Milk ($1.11), while my coworker got a hot matcha latte. The drink size was generous, and the blue color from the butterfly pea tea was striking. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the visuals. It was heavy on spices, and I honestly can't recall the other ingredients beyond the tea. I couldn't finish the whole drink so I felt bad for wasting. The drinks take a bit of time to prepare, so if you're in a hurry, plan accordingly or save your visit for when you have more time.
Shockingly bad. Ordered decaf latte. After taking a few sips I had to ask if I had actually got what i ordered. It was watery and smelled/tasted nothing like coffee. I asked the barista to taste it and tell me that this is what it is supposed to taste like. He said it is just "decaf" which is ridiculous as i drink decaf every day, both in cafes and at home. He did make me another one which again was just hot water that had the smallest hint of coffee. I have a feeling extremely old beans might be an issue but either way it was awful. The café itself was nice to sit in, but the "coffee" was just lacking. Shocking experience and an utter waste of money. I wish I had asked for my money back
