Fusia Bento Bar Ithaca Reviews
Tried Fusia Bento Bar for the first time through DoorDash and loved it. We ordered the Mongolian Beef Bento and Crab Rangoon. Everything arrived warm, well packaged, and really tasty. Definitely great value for money.
Quick, Tasty, and Affordable in Collegetown, Ithaca! 🍱 If you’re in Cornell’s Collegetown and looking for a quick yet satisfying meal, Fusia Bento Bar is the spot! This casual eatery serves up hearty portions at affordable prices, making it a go-to for students and food lovers alike. I grabbed a three selection lunch box featuring fish, pork, and a side of sweet and sour soup, and let me tell you—every bite was packed with flavor! The fish was tender and well-seasoned, the pork had just the right balance of crispiness and juiciness, and the sweet and sour soup tied it all together with a comforting, tangy kick. Beyond the food, the service was fast and friendly, making it a great choice if you’re in a rush but still want a solid meal. The space itself is clean and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual hangout. If you’re in Ithaca and craving a filling, tasty meal without breaking the bank, Fusia Bento Bar is a must-visit. Who else loves a big portion for a great price? Let me know your go-to bento box order! 🍱✨
I have been a daily customer for the past 6 months and Fusia has always treated me fair and well. If you are a student on a budget and likes Asian cuisine, this is the place, the best bang in the buck, without compromising the quality of food. My go-to is sweet and sour chicken bento box with takoyaki. Their fried rice is solid and walk-in lunch options is like the best value you can get in College town. I recommend this place especially for students.
Love this restaurant! I always come here for lunch during the semester! People working here are very nice, and the food tastes great. I love their combo of three dishes and one soup. There are a variety of dishes to choose! Rlly recommend it to everyone!
Every time I come here at noon, it's busy, and they still serve food quite quickly. But I still need to wait for a while, the environment is relatively clean but the seats are a little insufficient when it is busy, I basically come more at night and don't have to wait too long, their bento is also one of my favorite food. The portions were plentiful and I thought it was good value for money!
I have been studying here for more than two years. I often come here for dinner. They often bring me a sense of surprise. I like it occasionally special dishes. Now, after graduating, I want to recommend this place to everyone!
Food is always delicious from here. My go-to is the orange chicken bento. Definitely give it a try!
So yummy! We were pretty impressed. The host said the food would be 20 minutes and it came out on time and cooked fresh. Happy with our chicken broccoli bento and orange chicken bento. The crab Rangoon had more cream cheese than actual crab but still tasty. I loved my Shumai. Super satisfied with this spontaneous stop here.

Pork Cutlet Bento Box Crispy and delicious The side dishes are also quite fresh The miso soup is tasty It’s a very nice Chinese restaurant
Very kind employees, the food here taste great and is priced right! I decided get the chicken katsu bento box to try on my first visit and I'll have to get another again! A huge variety meal for $14, everything was tasty and perfectly cooked, no issues at all. Highly recommend stopping in here, it's unique and lots of variety choices compared to other places around.
Have been having food here since before covid. One of my go-to place at Cornell. Ingredients are always fresh and people are really nice! Highly recommend their VIP card! Price is so reasonable:) They also actually listen to your feedbacks and make changes accordingly. They deserve 5 star!
Great spot for food with a lot of options. They can also do large catering upon request. Ordered food for a small party of 15 and everything turned out great! I’ve also done both dine in and plenty of take out in the past.
Fast, easy and good portion sizes relative to the price. Every time I come in, they are super fast and consistently tasty

First time I've had corn in Fried Rice .. it brought a little color to the dish I guess lol.. other than that the rice was VERY tasty and spicy like I asked. However, I've had better egg rolls. It was chewy, but the taste was there... so there's that
(This review is based on a previous experience in 2022, I can't speak for what it is now) Relatively small but busy restaurant. Good Japanese and Asian food, efficient waitresses. The picture is Miso Japanese ramen, delicious as expected. Notice: Need to clear the table by yourself, as noted on signs. Do not sit in front of the door during winter. All the wind would come in and blow right into your face.
A good place to grab a quick lunch in college town. You can order individual items or do bento boxes or build your own plates. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken bento which came with miso soup, rice, dumplings and kani salad (you can also do seaweed salad). The portion was large enough for two meals and the service was quick.
Got take out chicken teriyaki bento. It came with miso soup with seaweed and tofu, a choice of side (I got the seaweed salad which was great), chicken teriyaki with brocolli and carrot, white rice, and 3 gyoza/dumplings. Although it was take out, it was freshly made and was still delicious.

Bento boxes are one of my favorite and I was looking forward to try at Fusia. I placed an order for pickup and when it came to the food itself, I wasn’t disappointed. The bento box was well-prepared, tasty and definitely hit the spot. Unfortunately, the customer service experience left alot to be desired. When I walked in to pick up my order, I greeted the staff and asked how she was doing - something I consider just common courtesy. I didn’t get a response which I initially shrugged off. When I gave my phone number/name and was told my order wasn’t there. I calmly pointed out that there was a bag on the counter with my name/number on it. That seemed to triggered a negative reaction and instead of resolving it calmly, she wave me off dismissively with a hand gesture - like I was nothing. I rarely write negative reviews and I usually give places a second or even third chance but this was one of most disrespectful customer service experiences I’ve had. Everyone has off days and I understand that. But there is a basic level of respect that should be shown in any interaction. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, because the food itself deserves better representation. If they can match the quality of their food with warm, welcoming service, this place would be an easy go-to.
The box is pretty good! I usually love the orange chicken here but I’ve received literally cold and overcooked chicken for dine in twice. They really replace it for you tho

Ordered sesame chicken here a second time and the meat was very hard, as if it had been deep fried several times. It was extremely chewy, as in to soften it you have to chew it for a long while before swallowing. Wasn't expecting 5 stars but for $18 I thought it'd at least be more palatable. I don't like to complain but thought I'd just ask if they had a fresher batch--I had only taken 2 bites, but they couldn't/wouldn't do anything and I wasn't going to press the issue.

Used to be the best full meal you could get in college town hands down, but last time I went they served me a cheap microwave small veggie roll 1/4 the size of normal and the chicken they gave me, although normally they provide a heaping portion of good chicken, was a extremely fibrous chicken nugget that was more gel than chicken and left me with an upset stomach for the rest of the night. I don't know what kind of cost cutting they are doing over there but it was quite disappointing.
