My 1st favorite Napali food in New York! 😍Veg Jhol Momo 🥟 and veg thali were so delicious and deserved their 5-time winner Momo Crawl. 🏆🥇 Smika and Yunisha were very sweet, kind, highly-patient, and warm-welcoming, even though last minute! It’s ok for me to wait for food a little bit because I understand that great foods take time to cook and no one could cook fast since he was born. Thus, for me, it’s worth eating here to enjoy authentic Napali food. I really enjoyed my lunch and dinner here and would love to come back to try other dishes. The atmosphere was so relaxing and chilling and they decorated restaurant so lovely during Valentine’s week.💖💖💖 Thank you for treating me like a second home, from Minty!!!

Veg roti thali was ecellent. I very much enjoyed the roti, lentil soup, and everything else. I was amazed when they gave free refills on everything. It was a very hospitable restaurant, and also very warm inside.

Authentic Nepali food that feels like home! We had a wonderful time at Nepali Bhanchha Ghar. The food was delicious and truly the taste of Nepal. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality of the owner, Bimala Hamal Shrestha didi, who is like a guardian for everyone—especially for the Nepali community. Her dedication to social work is admirable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine in a homely atmosphere!

Nepali Bancha Ghar truly feels like home away from home. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic, with real Nepali flavors that remind you of homemade meals. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. From momo to dal bhat, everything is fresh and well-prepared. Amazing food! The Chicken and Goat Thali are a must-try. It comes with so many delicious sides like homemade-style saag, dal, karela achar... everything reminded me of the comforting food we grew up eating back home. I was traveling with my dog, and they were kind enough to let us sit inside. They even gave us a corner table so others wouldn’t be disturbed. Really friendly staff and such a cozy, homely vibe overall. Highly recommend this place!

One of our favorite restaurants in NYC! Been coming here for over 8 years ever since they were in a smaller spot around the corner. The jhol momo is a must order! Broth is fragrant and packed with flavor as well as the momo itself. They’ve won the Momo Crawl 5 times for good reason. The thali is also a must-order. Dhal, mustard greens, pickles, another veggie of the day and rice. We like the chicken choila to go with it. Owner is sweet and hospitable with a big smile on her face.

The veg jhol momo was amazing, I tried the paneer momo which wasn’t as good. And also tried wei wei which very spicy. Definitely recommend trying the jhol momo!

Great momos and cash discount, unbeatable combo. We were just passing through the area when we decided it was time for a snack and momos were un indisputable winner. Momos took a while to come to the table, but other than that everything was great

The service is indeed a bit slow but my goodness is it worth it for the best jhol momo I've ever had. Really affordable, big portions, highly recommend!

Lots of good food for very reasonable prices. Right off the 7 line so great for a pre or post game dinner. Momo's were great. They gave us tons of sauces too. Overall a great experience, and I look forward to returning.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect momo in Jackson Heights, and Nepali Bhancha Ghar did not disappoint! Since it was raining, a warm bowl of jhol momo was exactly what I needed. The chicken jhol momo was fantastic—the rich, flavorful broth had an incredible aroma that made it stand out. I also tried the steamed goat momo, which was juicy and delicious. The sel roti and the masala were okay. The butter tea was a unique experience! If you're looking for authentic Nepali food, especially on a chilly or rainy day, this place is a must-try.

We loved the food here! We tried the unique fried Sel Roti and paneer jhol momos. Both dishes tasted amazing and portion size is really big for the price. Will definitely come back to try more dishes. The restaurant is located right outside the subway station.

This repeat momo crawl winner lived up to the hype! We came for a late lunch and we had 4 dishes that were all superb. Service is friendly and attentive. The vibe is relaxed… we felt like we had been transported to Nepal. We will be returning!!

I recently picked up an order of chicken jhol momos, and I have to say they were absolutely delicious. The momos were tender and juicy with a flavorful curry that had a nice sour but deeply satisfying taste. It was the kind of comfort food that feels both unique and familiar, and the portion was generous for the reasonable price, leaving me completely satisfied. I went for takeout on Sunday around 7pm, and the place was packed. While I got my takeout in time, the small, dimly lit space didn’t seem ideal for dining in, especially with how busy it was. There also didn’t seem to be an organized line system, as someone who was already sitting even came up and paid before me, which felt a bit frustrating. I wish the staff handled the pickup flow a bit better, but overall, for the taste and value of the food, it was worth it.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We tried thukpa, jhol momo and Sel Roti. We hope to return in the future to try the other options in their menu

Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is definitely a hidden gem, and was on our list since it won the Momo Crawl in the past. We got 3 types of momos: fried potato, chicken jhol (soup) and the veggie steamed. The steamed veggie momos were not as flavorful as I was hoping, and needed a lot more sauce. Though, the chicken jhol momos were super tasty, and the soup itself added lots of flavor. The inside can accommodate small groups and they play Nepali music in the background which was charming! Tip: you have to pay at the front of the restaurant rather than waiting for the check.

If you are a fan of momos, then this is the place for it. Momos freshly made and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and represented Nepal. But the staff could have been more attentive and friendlier.

Tried steamed and chilli chicken momo. Loved the tenderness, flavors and the filling. Spicy sauce was superb. Staff should be a little mindful of the customers and maintain a peaceful ambience. An old lady was screaming on top of her lungs and we hated how loud she was.

I have visited many Nepalese restaurants in the USA and this one was the most authentic so far. Food tastes typical Nepali flavored and the ambience has been set up accordingly. Out of all the items that we ordered, I felt like Chowmein could have been slightly better as it was overly sticky and under fried. Rest everything was yummy good. If you are visiting this place, don't forget to order "Selroti", It's totally worth it. The items are reasonably priced which is a plus point. The only downside is that the space is little cramped and can get very crowded during busy hours. Also, service could be improved slightly.

Tiny, warm place to have good steaming hot momo especially in the winter season. We ordered bunch of things, sel roti, fries veg momo, steams veg momo, veg Jhol momo, beg chowmein & tea. All the momo dishes we ordered & veg chowmein were my personal favorite. And the tea is good as well. The service was little slow as they are low on staff but they are very gentle and nice people. Must try place!

Very disappointing experience. 👎 The service was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. Our food was served without plates or utensils, and even after asking twice, we still didn’t properly receive them. Our drinks never came at all, and we ended up finishing the entire meal without them. The fried and steamed momos were still good, which is why I know this place has potential. However, the thukpa was not the same as before — the flavor and overall quality seem to be declining. It used to be much better. With such a strong location in Queens, this restaurant could do really well, but management seriously needs to improve service, organization, and consistency. Right now, the poor service completely overshadows the food.

Not good enough food and not enough good people in this restaurant and they treat us like a animals they have nasty food I eat momo and my stomach hurts so bad bro because they don’t have good food quality if u go there bro you should be catch some virus bro it’s not worth it Today I paid my bill 500$ and I come outside I’m talking to my friends but restaurant employees come outside and fight with us for no reason I think they are not good people for us they sell all frozen food that’s bad for us and even they sell frozen momo that means they don’t have good food quality if u go there u should be catch some virus or something on god im not layered to u guys The food quality was extremely disappointing. After eating the momo, I had serious stomach pain, which made me very concerned about freshness and food handling standards. For the prices they charge, the quality does not match at all. We paid around $500 for our bill, expecting good service and professionalism. Instead, after we left and were simply standing outside talking, employees came out and started arguing with us for no clear reason. That behavior was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, the food did not taste fresh and seemed like it may have been pre-frozen. For a restaurant charging premium prices, customers deserve better quality, better service, and basic respect.
