Absolutely amazing. Perfectly toasted sesame seed bagel with sausage egg and cheese. I've been missing breakfast sandwiches, this definitely did the trick.

This is a sleepy little restaurant that we went to when we were in Stamford, NY. Very quaint place, friendly wait staff, and omelets to die for. The bread is made right there.... Dont miss this place if your ever in Stamford!!!!

We had TPs cater our wedding at Maple Shades Farm for Memorial Day weekend in 2019! I do not think that we could have been happier. The entire process was a joy . We heard raves about the food the entire next day. We said from the beginning that food and music were two important features. TPs made sure that was the case!! Thanks TPs...5 stars all the way!!!!

First off the "small plate" is not small ! 2 pancakes 2 bacon and 2 eggs is a full meal in itself. Everything is super fresh. Well seasoned and served hot and with a smile. Will definitely return !

Wow! What an unbelievable breakfast I had there! I'm an uber driver and before I was heading back home to central new jersey, I stopped in to have breakfast. A breakfast I won't soon forget! The ABSOLUTELY BEST HOME FRIES!!! Wow! Reminded me of the wonderful home fries my dad would make! Thank you T.P! And as if that wasn't enough the farm fresh eggs were out of this world! Now I know the difference of store bought (yuck) and farm fresh eggs (yum!) Guaranteed if I get back to Stamford again,( and I do plan) I'm going to T.P's for the best breakfast again! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Staying in Prattsville for the weekend again. Looked for a place to have breakfast and not have to cook it myself. Found T P’s Cafe, it was a bit of a wait for a table, place was packed, even waited a little bit for our orders but darn was the wait well worth it. Food was great, and they kept refilling my coffee cup, i’m still slightly wired from it. Loved the place, loved the food, prices were more than reasonable and the service was second to none. Will surely be back many more times. The you everybody at T P’s.

Stopped in for breakfast! Very delicious home cooked meal and the waitress was very nice! Had a cute Mickey Mouse pancake for my son. Was packed with locals chatting. Very cool!

Today was my first time eating there. Had the pulled pork quesadilla. Best thing I have eaten in a very long time. And the pan cake are that right kind of crunchy but soft. Food came out fast. Good background music. Funny listening to the staff interact with each other.

YES PLEASE! not to mention the staff are super friendly and clearly bust their behinds to make sure everyone is taken care of, and that everyone has a constantly full cup-o-joe. just be warned... this place gets busy at times. but you can call in your order! so good....

Wow! We were pleasantly surprised with the food. It was fresh and truly homemade. Definitely recommend the burger... probably the best I've ever had. The crispy chicken caesar wrap was also delicious... really good chicken. It was very busy for lunch but plenty of friendly staff that worked well together and kept everything moving. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!

First time for us, lunch. Recommended by neighbor and decided to try. The buffalo chicken wrap was tasty, full of chicken and a great portion. The wait staff worked well together to serve us. Priced right. We’ll be back again and again.

This might have just been one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Meat is indeed ground fresh daily so the burger is light and it doesn't feel like you're eating an anvil. The bread on top of that is incredible. Put some of the bacon that I've seen. So many people rave about on it and it's wonderful. We'll definitely be back

Somehow, inadvertently, my wife's order was lost, so her meal was a bit later than my daughter and mine. When the waitress brought it she told my wife there would be no charge for her meal. Now that's service. We have eaten here numerous times, and this is one big reason why we keep coming back. Not only is the food fantastic (very reminiscent of homemade), but the service is incredible!!!

Had a memorable snowy breakfast there this weekend and wow were the pancakes delicious! The home fries were excellent as well as the coffee. Service was warm and speedy (coffee cup never went empty). Prices were very affordable.

I have been eating here since I moved to the area years ago. Great food at great prices! The owner and staff are always awesome and are a big part of the community. You can get any menu item at any time of day. Which is great for me because my go to breakfast is a BBQ bacon cheddar burger with home fries.

I ate here weekly for a couple of years while living in the area. I’ve eaten at many small diners in my lifetime and I’d have to say TP’s is the hands down the best. They are super clean, provide quick and friendly service, and have some of the best tasting food of any restaurant I’ve ever been too. Many items are made in house including their sandwich rolls. The pancakes are a trade-secret and for good reason. I usually had a custom sandwich made for me and the cook never complained and never missed a beat. It was delicious EVERY time. Thanks Pat! I miss eating there so much!

Warm and inviting small town cafe that has stood the test of time. Bright and loud colors and furniture mixed with vintage decor. Food was delicious. No nonsense American breakfasts and huge sandwich portions for lunch. Great price. Left full and happy!

I am a resident near this place and come here often. Excellent place to eat and some of the best bacon I have ever had. Fresh baked goods and breads too. Gets pretty busy sometimes but the table turn over is fast. Do not pass it up. Good parking on the side streets, front of and behind the restaurant. There was a live band in the gazebo today. Nice safe Main st to stroll. And just a few block from the Catskill Scenic Rail Trail. Mt Utsayantha Fire Tower has spectacular views and wort a visit.

Everything was great! I just come out this direction monthly for work. So this was my first time eating here. Such a cute little diner and awesome food!

We were in the area to hike up to the fire tower and this was the perfect casual diner for lunch afterwards. I definitely recommend it if you are passing through and crave a burger, reuben, grill cheese or other traditional diner fare. Staff were very friendly too.

I am vacationing in the area and this my 1st time to this gem of a diner. I had meal on front deck, which was beautifully setup and had radiant flowers. The service was excellent. What a great find! Happy accident but THE BEST BURGER I've had in a long time! Fresh fries perfectly fried. Wife's Reuben was her favorite. Well be back!!

Just to let you know, this is a cash only store, but they have ATM inside. I was there around noon, and it was crowded but they let us know that it might take a while. The staff were so kind and friendly. You can see the cooking, and the food was in large quantity and delicious.

I intentionally chose foods on the bland side to share with a ten month old baby. The French toast was delicious with lots of butter and syrup, and on the soft side (which is what I wanted). The plain scrambled eggs were what I expected from plain scrambled eggs. I could've skipped the home fries - I found them dry and bland with very few crispy bits to redeem them. The softness of the chunks worked for the baby, but I want more texture and flavor in my potatoes. But it was an affordable and filling breakfast, good service and no complaints about the setting other than the high chair was missing a strap.

The good: fantastic atmosphere, fresh baked goods, nice employees. From what I hear, the wraps are good. The meh: My burger was not cooked properly and the fries were definitely frozen and fried hastily, leaving them chewier than a three day dead llama. Will update if burgers improve, definitely worth a try if you're hungry.

Limited outdoor seating. Probably would stop again but on a cooler day. In response to the owners reply: I felt your dissertation was quite defensive. If you look again at my review you will see I just concentrate on the facts. I rarely put my opinions in any of my reviews. Yes, I did say your food was good and Yes, I did say your prices were reasonable. And I also pointed out that you only had one bathroom BIG DEAL. I don’t care if your AC works, if you take credit cards, if you close at 3pm or if you have 20 bathrooms. My reviews are for the information for other potential customers so they know what to expect from your establishment. Have a nice day.

Listen, my cheeseburger was very tasty. I would order it again. Good folks and good diner atmosphere. I’d go again. But those fries. Burnt, tiny, and tasteless. Enjoy the food, I bet breakfast is great, just don’t order the French fries, especially at $4.95 (!) to add them as a side. Take the chips.

About what you would expect from a small market cafe ( not that small town means it has to be bad service or food- there are great places nearby). Here we found average food and coffee. Wait server was rude as others have noted and forgot part of my lunch order but charged me for it. All in all the review could have been much more positive had the wait staff just been slightly pleasant.

Nice homey atmosphere. I arrived for lunch at 11am today and there were just a handfull of other patrons seated. The two young wait staff who arrived right away seemed bored and disinterested. The homemade chicken chili with black beans was very mildly spiced but otherwise quite good. The large hamburger was a complete disaster; I asked for just lettuce and tomato, but it was heavy with mayonnaise. The tomato was mushy (old) and there was just one large leaf of lettuce which caused this very sloppy sandwich to slide apart. Worst yet, I asked for it to be cooked medium and I got medium rare; it looked dangerous. Stupidly, I ate much of it because I was in a hurry and was hungry. I was given only one napkin and had to chase down 2 more on my own. NOT a good experience.

Could have been a bad day, but the server was in such a sour mood, you just could not feel like welcomed guests even if you hurled yourself into complete delirium. Without exposing her, but in case owners are interested, her name started with an “M”. She also cleaned up a spill on the floor, didn’t wash hands and then served us our food. Was eager to try a new place, since we have a home in the area, but sadly any motivation to return would be confined to desperation. The food however simple, was well received and would return if it weren’t for the ambiance and possible lack of hygiene protocols.

***I will preface this review by saying one of the 2 servers was kinder than the other and the food was good, as usual.*** My partner and I went in for a late breakfast. The service was immediately chilly and I wasn't sure why. Having worked in hospitality for decades, I generally give a lot of grace to servers who are having a rough shift, so at first I didn't think anything of it. We, of course, were very polite, including please and thank you with each interaction (including her getting our order wrong, which we handled with patience and kindness), but for some reason I cannot fathom, one of the two servers became more and more nasty to us as our meal progressed. It was so bad that she actually slammed down (kind of threw/tossed) plates on our table, put her finger in my face when I tried to ask her a question, and then raised her voice at me and banged her finger on the counter as I was paying the bill. I was completely shaken up and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. And then I realized - we are lesbians! Either this server is consistently rude and horrible to everyone who comes through the door OR they singled out the very polite and patient gay couple to treat with complete disdain and hostility. If there was another reason for this treatment I'd love to know, but I am left to assume it was simply homophobia. And during Pride Month no less! Terrible.

They took our order, then we saw 8 different families come, get served and pay/leave. We never got our food or even a coffee refill. They just kind of abandoned us.

Never Again. I spent $70 at TPS Cafe and walked out with a stomachache and a grudge. First of all, the fries — dry, weirdly burnt, and completely unseasoned. Not even salt. How do you even mess that up? Then came the so-called Italian subs — two of them — both with bologna and mayo that we didn’t ask for (side-note-you ask for cheese and pay $2 like you’re paying for extra) . Excuse me? I don’t know what part of Italy that’s from, but I’ve never seen bologna on an Italian sub in my life. They looked so unappetizing we didn’t even touch them. Out of the entire meal, the only things we managed to eat was one mozzarella stick (and even that tasted off) and a pickle. A single, sad little pickle. That’s what our $70 boiled down to. I tried, I really did. But between the bland food, sketchy ingredients, and the fact that our appetites vanished the moment we opened the containers, we were done. Never again. Save your money, your taste buds, and your dignity. TPS Cafe is not it. The lemonade was actually good — but not $70 good. Also if you would like to know the prices online are completely different from what they actually are, so you think you’re paying like $30, you’re actually paying $70 Update: added salt to the fries myself
