Chaparral Coffee Lockhart Reviews
We popped in on a rainy day while traveling and Matt took the best care of us! We were right at home. Coffee was fantastic (and we are spoiled to good coffee) and he whipped up some yummy breakfast tacos for us. We will definitely stop in again.
A great stop for coffee on Lockhart's main square. We enjoyed their covered seating facing the court house. Always enjoy stopping by when we're in town. Free street parking is available on the square and nearby streets.
I do not live in the area, but have been wanting to try this spot for several years. 116 miles later, and I am so glad that I finally did. The coffee. The food. The vibes. Everything was 10/10. Highly recommend the Big Sammi and the Early Bird Plate. I cannot wait to visit again!
Uses local Austin coffee roaster Barrett's; charming old wood floors and western styling right on the courthouse square. Beats Summer Moon all day everyday, Cheers!
I enjoyed my time at Chaparral Coffee. It has a nice view of the town square. The Big Garden Sammi was delicious, and so too was the chai latte. Service was efficient and quick. Staff are very nice. Great ambiance and selection of music, which is neither too loud nor obnoxious. A great place to stop if you are in the quaint town of Lockhart, TX.
Absolutely 100% phenomenal. The americano was amazingly tasty, the service was quick, the staff were super kind, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the music was chill. The storefront sits just off of the town square across the street from a magnificent courthouse...absolutely stunning. We recommend 100%! Enjoy/disfruta! 💯🔥
My 2nd visit was just as lovely as the 1st! Matt was very hospitable and jovial. Ella crafted a fabulous cortado. Chaparral is my go-to every time I visit Lockhart! ☕️👌
Best place in town for coffee and a light lunch. Anytime I’m in Lockhart I have to stop here. I get a hot vanilla latte and their made in house vanilla syrup is delicious! The yogurt parfait is just as amazing.
My go-to locally owned coffee shop in Lockhart. The staff is always friendly and kind, my iced oat lattes are always delicious and the food is YUM! Love the breakfast sandwiches.
Very cozy shop serving up some delicious coffee right on the square in Lockhart. Dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Very nice patio to sit and enjoy a beautiful day!
What a great spot. Online ordering was perfect, highly suggest! Their breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. Pecan Toddy on ice was great for the 3 hr drive ahead of us, wife had the white chocolate mocha and loved it. We’ll be back
Excellent espresso and lattes! The location is perfect for stopping by if you’re in downtown, and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was very rustic and chill, and it’s great for studying, working, or just hanging out. There is some front outdoor tables as well!

I ordered a regular coffee and a cinnamon roll, and they were delicious! The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the cinnamon roll was soft, fresh, and perfectly sweet. Everyone was very friendly which made the whole experience even better. Such a great coffee shop. I’ll definitely be back.
Chaparral is our local Lockhart coffee shop, and we just love them. The drinks are delicious, the food is terrific, and the people are just so nice. Taylor and Austin, the owners are fixtures in the community and you could not ask for nicer people. It’s so great to have a local coffee shop, owned by locals, who you feel good about doing business with. There’s an outside patio, and you can bring your pups!
Great local coffee shop with good energy and friendly staff. The Big Garden Sammy is a must-order, the space is dog-friendly, and it’s always full of locals and good vibes. Perfectly located on the square with a great view of the courthouse.
Wonderful spot to get caffeinated and fill up on breakfast. I had a cinnamon brown sugar latte with their house made syrup which was perfectly balanced with its slight sweetness. Their breakfast tacos also hit the spot.
I’ve been getting coffee here on Saturday mornings during the Farmers Market for a year now..my first impression wasn’t great, but they’ve more than made up for it since. I’m a basic Beth..I love a good strong mocha and order mine with a couple extra shots. I love the cold brew made into a mocha when it’s warm out. Sadly I’m gluten free so I haven’t tried any of their pastries by my sis and niece love the double chocolate muffin.
This is a beautiful little place with a fantastic vibe! So friendly and the food was great! We look forward to another visit when we're in Lockhart.

Coffee here is amazing! Loved the sourdough sammi sandwiches as well! The seasonal fruit with the sandwich tasted so fresh.
So this joint has an adjoining small cafe (same owners) immediately next door to the coffee spot. I had the brisket quesadillas and have to tell you they were the BEST I’ve ever had (I inquired about the brisket and was advised they use Kreuz BBQ). Not sure if it was the mix of cheese or the brisket or combo of both but it was OUTSTANDING. Menu is small but creative and the drinks and staff are amazing.
Easily the best coffeehouse in Lockhart. And better still, it is truly a community meeting place. A spot where you can run into your neighbors, your friends, a politician, actors & film crews working in town, etc. Good folks. Good owners. Family friendly. Just. Great spot with amazing coffee and great food too!
This is a cool breakfast place in Lockhart, everything is simple but tasted good. The coffee was really good; we got a Cold Brew and a regular latte. I'm glad Lockhart is now having good restaurants.
