Panera Bread Longview Reviews
They have the best Mac & cheese! And I love their monthly drink subscription. $11 a month= free drinks every 2 hours from open to close.
Every experience at Panera Bread Longview is amazing. My family and I love the cozy dining atmosphere and all of the wonderful menu items. This location is one of the nicest ones in the country.
The staff were very friendly. the service very fast and the food was excellent. much better then I expected. it was my first visit to a Panera Bread and it was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this location.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I really like this place. Tomato soup is great. My wife is not a fan. Not really sure why. I can only get her to go about once a year. But....I love it.
Staff were very friendly. Food was good with lots of combination possibilities. It was fresh and timely. Nice, quick break from burgers and such.
Food was made with lots of love the best frontega chicken I’ve had. Employees were the sweetest even though it was a bit busy when I visited they took their time to answer my questions, will definitely be visiting again.
Always fresh food. Served hot and fast. Great combo choices. Updated menu not as many options. Prices went up.
Met a friend for lunch. Seating was restricted because of the virus. My wife had a half almond chicken salad sandwich and macaroni and cheese. Said it was very good. I had a chipotle bacon melt and a small bag of kettle chips. Sandwich was good, would have liked a bigger bag of chips. We both drank water. Is a $$ place.
I had the homemade chicken noodle and the beef & cheddar melt sandwich. Both were very tasty and the soup was nice & hot. The service was quick and friendly.
Panoramic Bread has always been good..
Came with family to dine in, wasn't too busy at all for that. Didn't wait in line for long either, staff was quick, informative and kind to us. We appreciated their service very much! Definitely coming back again.
The Mac and cheese is delicious. Bagels are always fresh. I LOVE their sugar cookie, and was really excited that it was a pumpkin!
The atmosphere was great. I loved that they had indoor and outdoor seating. Jessie gave me some recommendations on what to eat. I chose the Green Goddess salad, it was delicious. I went back to the counter to get a sweet treat after finishing my meal and again, Jessie helped me pick out something delicious. I really appreciated the time he took and how kind he was. I will be back.
Panera Bread is a great, versatile restaurant! You can go there to work, have lunch with a friend, or host a study group. The food is nutritious and filling, so you feel energized and not sluggish. They have a great assortment of sweets and beverage options.
Lots of choices on the menu. The gal at the counter was helpful with checking on the ingredients for me. I have some food sensitivities and have to be careful when I'm ordering. Ten vegetable soup with an apple paired with some gluten free I had with me made a satisfying meal. Tables were clean and there was plenty of space between them
We made a pick-up order through the app for 2 meals, 2 bakery items, and a loaf of bread. They called us after submitting the order to let us know that they didn’t have a full sliced loaf of bread left (but 95%), and to make up for it they gave us an extra cookie! Food is always good and service is great too, thank you!
Panera is absolutely one of my FAVORITE places to take the wife for a quick, delicious and pretty healthy bite, and for meeting friends for some good coffee & conversation. You just can't find their selection of yummy baked items, soups & sandwiches around this side of town, not to mention the very friendly & helpful staff. And who else has a warm fireplace that you can actually sit under! So if you're looking for cozy & comfortable place with some unique coffees, teas, and delicious fresh-made selections, and where you can actually hear each other talk, then Panera is your place!!
The food is always fresh! The people are very nice! Great place to have lunch.
I left my wallet in Tyler 70 miles away and needed to pay with my phone and they assisted me trying for 15 minutes and then I finally remembered that I could just call where I left my wallet at and they could tell me my number over the phone to pay for my order. The young lady waiting on me was so very patient and helpful and even gave me a discount because she felt sorry for us. I wish I had written her name down because she was such a blessing to us tonight and the food of course is always excellent.
my first time ever in panera and i was greeted by a sweet girl named angelina. i had tons of questions and she answered everyone of them w/o hesitation. I’m bragging on her because it is so hard to find people who are actually informative and make where you go enjoyable. my food was delicious and so was my husbands. 10/10 recommend.
Staff was friendly and I had never been. They tried giving some good recommendations but I had to settle for an item I decided looked good and it was just so delicious! I definitely plan on going back.
I love their "Baker's Dozen Bagels for $6.99" deal! They will toast the ones you want to eat in-house and bag the rest for home! The staff is friendly, the manager is top-notch and the facility is clean and quiet.
I’ve always found this Panera location to provide consistently good food and service. Special shout out to Joelle and Rebecca for accommodating a last minute special ordering request for a work meeting.
The second you walk in, you can smell the wonderful breads. The staff was very friendly when we ordered. It has a very laid back atmosphere to the place. The music was light and mellow. The lighting had a very nice ambiance. It wasn't too bright. I enjoyed my visit. We had the pick two special. Both chose half turkey sandwiches. I chose the chicken noodle and my fiancee chose bacon Mac n cheese. Both were fantastic. I thought it was neat how they put the mac n cheese in a bread bowl. They also gave us a side,of bread that was wonderful.
"Nice place to sit and relax over quality food or drinks."
I have a new round love for apanera Bread offers amazing food selections Healthy and wholesome as well. Different choices for every time you go.
I enjoy the opportunity to order from the table. Then I can hold the table for the rest of my party while they order and our meals are done at nearly the same time.
Kashmir and staff are professional and a delight. The food is a healthy portion and nutritious. My heart and soul is nurtured at Panera Bread Longview by all who have served me there.
Very friendly staff, awesome food, service and desserts, will continue to go back and enjoy awesome food!
First time eating at this one. The last one I ate at was not good at all. Food wasn't made right, lots of children allowed to run throughout the tables. Atmosphere was less than desirable.
We were greeted promptly when we came in. The cashier was extremely nice and helpful. I changed up my tuna sandwich and used the asiago bagel which turned out delicious. My daughter ordered the Mac and cheese it was super cheesy and creamy. Everything was out fast, hot and fresh. The tea was really great and refreshing. Will be back soon.
I had a fantastic experience at Panera! I went through the drive-thru, and the employees were quick and incredibly polite. The service was efficient, and I highly recommend trying the chocolate croissant it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back for more. Five stars!
We really enjoyed our meal here. Several around us on their computers, reading books, even the kids were quietly coloring or reading. It is always such a nice place to enjoy a quiet meal together. We can actually visit and not feel like we are yelling over the mases. We went with the Napa Almond Chicken salad sandwich with the butternut squash soup. Both were absolutely amazing. Sandwich was full of fresh ingredients, and the soup was hot and very tasty. It's one of my favorite soups they serve and I try to get it every time it's available. Everyone is always so friendly and full of smiles every time we visit. It's just a great atmosphere.
Always love this place, good Fiji Apple salad, mac and cheese is good. Soup is also good. Pice is probably average for this type of restaurant. Social distancing was in place. Friendly staff.
I ate the tomato soup, and it was simply delicious. It came with 1/2 a baguette, which was crispy outside and soft and warm on the inside.
The rating is for the coffee subscription. I have enjoyed it immensely. Though the coffee is not the best (better than McDonalds) the service itself is excellent.
Pre-ordered for a specific time and it was ready right on time! Their flavor combinations are well thought out and delicious. I've never been disappointed in my choice.
What a great assortment of sandwiches. I don't eat much bread unless it is at Panera. I think the mango lemonade is really good. Along with the standard sandwich fare, the noodle soup is very tasty. Enjoy.!
My hubby and I both had the fuji apple salad. They were scant in size. Not there normal. For the $11.00 price it was more like 1/2 salads. But, good as usual.
The place was really clean and has a nice ambience, especially in the early evening with the sun coming through the rear windows. The food is so-so and if you get the steak and white cheddar, be warned that it's got some sort of horseradishy stuff all up in it. Yeech.
Only docking them a star because their wifi is spotty (sorry, Panera). This location is just as good as any Panera I've been to (including the ones near my apartment in St. Louis, which includes some of the first locations to open). The food was fine, though my frozen lemonade melted a bit faster than I think it should have (but can I blame them for that?) and the employee didn't bag my bagels separately as I had asked, so I ended up with messy sticky bagels touching my plain ones. The horror, right? If they hadn't have goofed up there, it probably would have been a 5-star experience. I'm just happy to see some better chains opening up in Longview!
Amazing service and delicious food, but they never seem to have the soup I want on the days I'm there. Poor planning on my part, but it would be nice to have more soup options available more days during the week. Overall, great place to grab a bite to eat while enjoying a peaceful, cozy atmosphere!
What is better than soup and a sandwich when under the weather? Very good soup/chili. I had the chili one night and it was spicey enough to sooth and help with the cold, the next night I had the chicken rice. Both were well prepared, well seasoned and at the right serving temp. Both nights included an half of a ham and Swiss sandwich with all the fixings. They even remembered to put the mayo on the side and not on the sandwich. Why not give stars? I was staying in a hotel they would not deliver to since it was "just" out of their delivery area, even though they would not supply a delivery area map. Walk in, great. Drive through, great. Delivery, not so much.
I deducted for atmosphere because I went into the restroom and one toilet was in desperate need of attention. I let multiple workers know and nothing had changed after I was there for an hour. Gag
Marcie rocks the drive thru!!!!!! Positive experience with her tonight, soup could have been a bit more. 😉 See you next time.
After leaving the ER feeling pretty sick they had soup and bread that was the perfect pick me up me.
We love the food but hate the rewards program. We go there often but evidently not often enough. We have been going there for years and never gotten a reward. This is not my first complaint about this. Come on PB, do better.
This is one of the biggest Panera Bread I’ve visited. Clean dining area. My order was delivered to my table in no time. Enjoyable meals every time. Good workers. Coffee & cold beverages stations are in the dining area for easy refills. Ample parking. However, there are no self-ordering kiosks.
Lady at counter needs to work on her people skills. Over priced food. No need to reinvent classics. Was charged for extra stuff that I didn't order. Stick to the sodas or water , the other drinks are awful.
1st time ordering through app or takeout. Disappointed. Out of bread bowls, no pineapple on salad, less portions than in store for salad and mac and cheese, bowl of soup was only half full.
Pretty good place to eat out if you got the money.
While the food is delicious, the pricing is quite expensive. My husband ordered a whole sandwich, the price of which was around $7...but he only received half of the sandwich...but was told that it was the complete sandwich. Technically we would have had to order 2 more 1/4's of the sandwich to make it whole - and that would have been almost $15! Now, I can understand that the prices have gone up on things but clearly the definition of "half" and "whole" are completely lost at some restaurants
Ordered takeout that we went in to get. Employee put our bag of food on top of the flatbread pizza box. Smushed the pizza so I took it back in. They then ran out of pizza sauce. I'm really glad I also got a salad or I wouldn't have anything to eat. Only one member of staff wasn't rude.
We stopped here for a quick breakfast on the way to Dallas. We paid over $40 for four people to have a simple breakfast sandwich and a drink. Plus two people had fruit. In my opinion, it was pricey compared to other breakfast places. My iced vanilla latte was bitter and I didn’t taste anything vanilla in it. The food was just okay, but I think we could have gotten more tasty and filling food someplace cheaper.
*Negatives then the positives* Negatives: •One soup ordered, the french onion to be specific, was watered down for sure. :/ •Another soup I ordered had to be heated up, as who likes only warm enough soup? •The apples had a strange taste to them too. Didn't expect that. Positives: •the staff seemed nice and eager. :) always appreciated •the bagged chips were not old, but crisp and fresh (newly brought in, which is important because who wants stale chips left forever in storage??? Yeah.) •the broccoli cheddar soup was good.
We asked for our sandwiches to be toasted. One came out iceberg cold and the other was luke warm, if that. The broccoli and cheese soup was almost cold. When we asked for the sandwiches to be toasted, as we ordered them, you would have thought we asked for them to hold up the traffic on the loop. SMH. Service has been better in the past, but not today.
the good was alright. the water 🫥 something's wrong with the city water and filtration system. 2nd restaurant that has it tasting like dirt and something else 🦠 {chemicals from the billionaire maybe?}
The manager (I assume, she was dressed in street clothes behind the counter) was yelling at an employer at top volume. She was extremely disrespectful, and there was a long line of customers watching everything go down. The woman at the cash register seemed apologetic and was doing her best. We support Paneras all over, but there's never an excuse to disrespect fellow team members this way.
Pretty bleak experience. Cold and boring food (ordered soup), awkward table service, ants on the toilet seat and vacuuming while we hadn't even left our section. Sad face. Nice lady who took my order, though!
Ordered a Fuji Apple Salad to go. When I opened the salad to put it on a plate, there was the overall smell of garbage. One of the kinds of lettuce in the salad mix was wilted and rotting.
Panera bread is a greedy corporation that charges exorbitant prices. And has bad corporate customer service.
Unfortunately my experience with this Panera was bad today. I ordered a baja bowl with chicken. I found a FLY when I lifted up a piece of avocado in the bowl and the fly was still moving around. Also, the sour cream/Greek yogurt/whatever it was had a piece of strawberry in it, so it seems like they might not be adequately separating ingredients in the kitchen.
The mac n cheese was disappointing. It tasted like processed cheese, and nothing more. The French bread was hard. The croutons in the Caesar salad were also stale. The chicken noodle soup however, was pretty good. Doubt I'm going to go back.
I told the lady who waited on me that this was my first time in a Panera. It would have been helpful if she had told me up front that the crust on the bread was tougher than shoe leather. I'm not used to throwing half my bread away, especially with what they charged for a chicken salad sandwich. Other than that, it was delicious. I won't be ordering another one however.
The food & staff typically good. However, that wasn't the case today. Ordered a breakfast sandwich but no bread only bagels, received Cold scrambled egg/cheese . The girl taking my order was rude with a very bad attitude. Guess she was having a bad day & I just happened to bear the brunt of her unhappiness.
In a country where it seems no one cares about service, Panera did not disappoint. I went at an off peak time, ordered a simple half salad, no special orders... they told me they were out of gorgonzola cheese, ok, sub feta? Fine. I guess they were out of apples, red onion and chicken, too. Ugh. Please care about your clients.
Not impressed 😒. For 2 sandwiches, 1 smoothie, and 1 CUP of soup, $36. 1 sandwich, the Chipotle chicken, was great. The baked potato soup and turkey BLT were bland. Definitely not worth the money. Staff is friendly! God bless you 🙏
This was a difficult experience. I entered to no one at the counter for at least 3 minutes. Does not seem long until you actually have to wait with no one acknowledging you are there. I was standing at the counter and observed an employee headed my direction. As she approached an older customer was headed toward the counter too. This lady actually cut between me and the counter. I actually had to jump back to avoid a collision. Very surprised and a bit dismayed, I moved all the way back towards the entryway. Did that actually just happen?? Did this lady really just cut in line?? Either way I was still not acknowledged for another 2 minutes by someone willing to take my order. I do not like leaving reviews of this nature as they are subjective. Not knowing all the issues surrounding the actions of this lady and the employees. But this was a difficult interaction overall.
Terribly overpriced. I just spent $13.00 for a tiny tuna fish sandwich and 1 ounce of potato chips. I knew it was expensive but II was hungry. Ordered the “full” sandwich. Tiny bread with just a hint of tuna fish. Taste was just ok. Too much lettuce and other add ons to tell. Outrageously over priced.
Very disappointed by this Panera because they charged us full price for four menu items even though we ordered two pick twos. Don't order the pick two unless you're ready to argue--I couldn't bring myself to because the staff was really abrasive and fed up with people.
I got a 1/2 tomato basil sandwich with mac n chez. And another 1/2 chicken bacon ranch sandwich for my mom. 1st time eating there, not impressed won't be back.
I was eating my food and everything seemed to be OK until I had a long blonde hair in my soup and in my mouth. I presented it to the worker and all I got was a sorry. I didn't care to get anything else because I didn't want anymore hair in my food but nothing was offered either. I usually have a good experience but I can make Panera at home and hairnets are needed.
Never thought I would say this cause I have always loved everything Panera but they have gone down the toilet. My salad has shrunk by half, is wilted, they put shaved tomato SKINS on it, and the humus had a dry skin on it. And the sandwich, they left off some ingredients and they couldn't even take the time to put the bread back together right, worst meal I've ever had from there. Not sure I will be back.
The sandwich in the picture I uploaded really personifies the service at Panera Bread. The staff isn't mean, but they're not overly kind. No thought or care is put into the preparation of the food, as evidenced by the picture. I don't recommend this place unless you absolutely have to have some Panera Bread.
I have to say that I am not pleased. Came here to enjoy a good salad and some bread, but I am not happy. First of all, the place smells weird. Second, the lady (thought she was kind of nice) who took my friend and I’s order out her fingers INSIDE our cups. Not to mention the food tastes wrong in a way and the bread is burnt. If this isn’t cleared up, I will not be coming back. The food did come out fast.
I visited this location tonight. I walked in at 8:35pm and was greeted with Debbie giving me the classic "i know that we are open but i don't understand why you are coming to order food when i don't want you here" look. When i walked to the cashier's stand, Debbie said, "yeah." To which i replied "you guys don't have to look so excited to see me." Seeing no change in her demeanor, i placed my order. Other employees were already in the process of breaking down some type of food station that was visible from the cashier's stand. I ordered a bown of soup as well as a grilled cheese sandwich. Both with fruit cups. When they handed me my food, i expected to receive 2 bags as i ordered both hot and cold foods. To my surprise, the two cold fruit cups were one top of the hot grilled cheese sandwich and directly beside the hot bowl of soup. This was one of the worst experiences i have ever had at a Panera Bread. The worst was Hagerstown Maryland but that's another nights all together.
So in a time when the only food we can get is through drive through and to go orders, a fast food chain decides to limit their menu items because of a virus. To top it off when you get to the window and try to pay, they are not accepting CASH! Really? I will never spend my money at panera bread ever again.
Ordered bagels for delivery to the Longview Regional ER as an appreciation for all they do. Order was specifically designated to the Emergency room. Ordered through the Panera app for deliver at 8:15am. At 9:15am bagels still not delivered. Called Panera and was told they don't deliver, they use doordash for deliveries. I explained the situation and was told I would need to contact doordash. I'm NOT doing business with doordash!! I'm doing business with Panera!! The manager said, I can't help you. I work for a large corporation and I order catering quite often...they are no longer my go to...I'll just go elswhere!
Salad consists of lettuce and two pieces of avocado. Lettuce was whittling. Just not very good. Sandwich was very skimpy on contrnts. And expensive (30$ for two people). Probably won't go back. Quality and quantity not good.
People behind counter never made eye contact or if they could help me. Plus I got called Sir. So disappointed. Tyler, s is better. Wouldn't think you could mess up a sandwich but I was wrong.
Ordered dinner for my family and they left out a meal. We live 20 minutes from them so I tried to call and tell them what happened to see what options I had and their phone system doesnt work. You cant get anyone! All it says is your party in unavailable.. So, my boyfriend drives 20 minutes back to get the meal (that they forgot) and they never said sorry or offer us anything for THEIR mistake! WORST experience! I will not eat here again!
Took my family to the Longview, Tx. location for the first time and was very disappointed. We bought three different sandwiches and not only were they overpriced at @$10 each for a relatively small sandwich, they were just awful. Mine had watery chunks of chicken with bacon that was too tough to chew. The bread was also dried out on the edges. All of them looked like they had been assembled in a hurry and were messy and soggy. Also, we asked for avocado and it was put on in big chunks instead of taking the time to slice. Paying that much for sandwiches that were absolutely terrible is not something we will ever do again. Definitely would not recommend.
First time ordering a "to go", Caesar Salad, a whole one, I think I got a half, it was rather small...also the Caesar dressing did not taste like Caesar dressing from other restaurants or from any store bottled version I have had, I believe I was tasting to much mustard in it. Will try again and see how it goes. 3/4/19 Well tried it again...still not thrilled, apparently the salad is made in advance and if you ask for no croutons on a “to go” order, this is the second time I ordered it, they don’t bother to send you one without any. The Caesar dressing still is not like any I have ever had, I can really taste the mustard (yuck)...
The person taking our order seemed annoyed that we were there, and our food sat out for a while before our buzzer lit up. The mac n cheese was cold and the prices are wayyyy too high for what you get. I would go to Mcalisters over this place any day of the week.
The menu does not reflect the actual prices. They only show the double prices or 2 item prices. They charged me for the side when it was supposed to be free. Took a very long time to get fixed at the counter. When the food came out, it was hard as a rock. Sandwich was very, very toasted. I will never return and do not recommend anyone to this place.
Worst customer service given. Ordered through the app for the first time waited in the lobby for 30 minutes with no update on food order. Went to front counter to ask for order and Manager had set food at some random table in front of the restroom because it was quote on quote "taking up to much room" never even called out that food was ready and only response given was shouldve checked your app. Manager Tamara walked off very rude and not customer friendly she might need to take some customer service courses. I definitely won't be returning since food was also cold and due to bad customer service.
Had onions in my parfait, they always put chicken on my salad after telling them to make sure they leave it off(vegetarian), they give me the wrong dressings for my salad and had to drive back. I’ve given this place multiple chances and i just can’t give them anymore of my money. Oh, and enjoy that rock hard baguette sitting at the bottom of your bag.
A very rude lady, who was short and white around 50-60( only way I know to describe her) was very hostile towards us while ordering. Did not enjoy the rest of the meal because of this unfortunate situation. Hopefully she can learn how to better help customers in the future.
It was horrible. The coffee, everyone, cause I tried them were cold and old. They were out of chips and didn't give alternative to go with the sandwich. And the service was subpar.I will definitely not be going back there again.
Worst experience ever! Placed my order online yesterday for 36 bagels because I knew that was a big order. Drive over an hour away because that’s how much I love their bagels and I wanted them for an event this afternoon. When I arrived for pickup at 8 am as scheduled, the manager informed me they are out of the bagels that I ordered because they had not arrived. I asked why they hadn’t notified me and flippantly said that I wasn’t here when you put your order in. Just pathetic. I thought the online order option was the bomb, but I guess they just don’t really care about filling those orders anymore.
Placed on online order for delivery. Two items were missing. Called and spoke to a manager to have the two items removed from my ticket for a refund. Told me they could not do that that over the phone and that I would have to come to the restaurant? Why place an online order if you have to go to the place of business? Also, did not offer to have the missing items delivered. I never leave negative reviews, but I am appalled at the level of customer service.
This is my $9 salad. It's missing cilantro, and sesame seeds. This is Panerai I was expecting more than that anyway. I could of gotten a better salad at Wendys!
Ordered a hot sandwich ,the ciabatta Cheesesteak, that was the worst sandwich I have ever tasted. It was very sloppily put together and there was very minimal meat, the cheese was cold and the flavor was horrendous. Possibly the Longview location is the problem. Im definitely going to stick with McAlister’s Deli from now on.
I think the company is going out of business. They constantly reduce selections. Even items listed on menu are not available. I used to love Panera for it freshness and variety but that company is no longer
