Kimbap Paradise Los Angeles Reviews
Fantastic Korean restaurant! We had the Spicy Pork Bulgogi and the Marinated Beef, both served with steamed rice. The meal also included a delicious fish soup, along with freshly prepared side dishes like pickled cucumbers, kimchi, fish cake, and a cabbage and carrot salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. The service was a solid 10/10 — truly excellent. It’s a great place to go out with friends, especially for groups of 10 or more. Highly recommended!
Even though I ordered a delivery, the food came earlier than expected and were still fresh and crispy! I got the Rose spicy rice cake soup, fried shrimps, fried calamari, fried chicken, a paradise kimbap, and a shrimp kimbap. The portion is definitely on the large side, so it’s perfectly shareable. They also give a regular egg in the rice cake soup instead of the quail eggs, which is fantastic and quite generous. It’s my first time trying rose flavored rice cake, and I really love the taste of it, which pairs so divinely well with ramen and the fried goods!! OMG the fried shrimps are unbeatable (especially considering the fact that it’s a delivery not dine in); the batter to meat proportion is just right, the crispiness of the outer crust is so satisfying, and the shrimp itself also has a fresh texture. As for the kimbap, I love both of the kimbap. The rolls are big, fresh, with good amount of fillings as well as a good meat to rice ratio! The paradise roll actually tastes more flavorful than I expected, containing both roasted beef and imitation crab. The side radish they have is also refreshing to eat with the kimbap😋! I would love to visit the place in person someday, and definitely would recommend to any kimbap lovers out there!
Great for groups so you can order a lot of dishes and share. Their kimbap is super delicious - get the smoked beef one!! The service is friendly but maybe they need one or two more people working because for awhile it seemed like only one guy was taking orders and serving the entire place. Portions are big - the kimchi pasta was definitely meant to be shared as was the grilled mackerel. Their fried chicken is what dreams are made of.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, glad I wasn’t disappointed! I’ll definitely come back to try more of their dishes since I only got to try the kimbap. The food was good and the side dishes were really good as well. The prices were very affordable as well! We went around 4-4:30pm on Sunday 3/23, the staff member at that time was very nice!
This place has exceeded my expectations. I came in during lunch weekday so service was very quick. I ordered and about 10 minutes later, everything was served fresh. So far this is the best tasting Asian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Every dish has a unique flavor of its own. The sauces are really flavorful! I love it!
amazing. The food is the best. best kimbap i have had my whole life for more honest reviews around the world. Follow me. also on instagram ANDREWKENNEDY980 tiktok ANDREWKKENNEDY856 just don’t get the kimchi fried rice with cheese it’s disgusting
This is a very casual restaurant with different types of kimbap, ddukbokki, and various soups and stews. Food is on point. I loved the fried shrimp kimbap and spicy seafood stew. I don’t like the iPad ordering system but I guess it helps them operate with fewer staff.
I love this spot. Generous portions for a good price. Food tastes fresh and actually looks like the images in delivery apps and in-person menu. Delivery arrives quickly and well packaged and the kimbap rolls are huge! Food is piping hot and looks really pretty when you dine-in. Absolutely delicious. My favorite for delivery is the fishcake kimbap - it's tasty without being fishy and highly underrated IMHO. The bibimbap for dine-in is a must try especially with extra pickles (so yum).
So many selections, did not realize how large the servings were! Great lunch the next day! Loved the kimchee and smoked beef/bulgogi kimbap, super tasty. Great service, friendly staff.
Amazing food! Always fresh! I usually order the Kimbap and the Bibimpap or the Teokkbokki. Always clean and tidy.
First time going. The kimbap is so yummy! We had the beef and shrimp. Lots of food for such a good price. Will definetly by visiting again when in LA.
I love this place! The fish cake was one of my favorite dishes and some of the best I have had. The older lady who served us was so sweet! Best service ever! Fried chicken wings were piping hot in general just a wonderful experience. You can order the kimbap for catering too for parties and events! It’s a big hit!

Came in not expecting much and left seriously impressed. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care—not rushed or thrown together. Portions were generous without being over the top, and everything tasted exactly how it should (which is rarer than it should be). What really stood out was the consistency. Every bite was on point, and nothing felt like an afterthought. You can tell they actually care about quality here. Service was smooth and friendly, and the vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for good food done right.
I’ve ordered twice from here and was happy both times. I got the spam and fish cake kimbap—so good. Even with using delivery, my food was still so, so, so good. I will have to stop by the shop to check them out.
Kimbap was great!! We also had fish cane soup and it was also amazing . We ordered a seafood noodle dish that tasted like it should’ve been in an Italian restaurant, this is my reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, kimbap was on point!
Very easy to do a to go order! They have a kiosk where you can customize your kimbap and it took around 15-20 minutes. Very tasty & convenient.
Nice little place ! The service was great and very attentive. It came out very fast. They give a delicious bowl of miso soup with really tasty sides !! We ordered a lot of Kimbrell didn’t really know how many would come with it definitely overdid it. The soup and the sides were really delicious but the rolls were pretty simple and plain. Inexpensive for what it is !
Clean, spacious little restaurant in ktown — would totally come back here because of the prices. We got a noodle soup dish and the marinated beef kimbap and it was honestly so good and satisfying; the food is flavorful and not heavy and feels good when you eat it. It took a while to come out though, but the service was good, the waitresses and employees were super kind and friendly and the presentation of the food was good. The kimbap was good and the beef was sweet and delicious, kimbap is kimbap and it tasted as expected. The noodle soup was surprisingly good too, the portion sizes were all big. Overall would definitely come back because it’s cheap and it’s located in a plaza with parking!! Would highly recommend coming here for kimbap and take out.

I’ve gotten food here multiple times over the years and this time will be my last after this bad experience. This time after ordering kimbap, I also decided to order a side of kimchi ($0.55 cents). the lady said they only take cash (even though we already paid for it at the self service kiosk). I showed her the receipt and she refused to honor our order, even though we paid for it and the side of kimchi was right in front of her. so you’re saying you can’t just give out what we paid for? Make It make sense. A shame because I’m sure the food is fine, but terrible manners and customer service.
We arrived at 10 pm, and the website said it closed at 11 pm. When my friends and I entered, they asked us to order food to take home because they were going to close. They didn't offer any courtesy, and the website still shows a different closing time. I felt poorly treated and that this restaurant only cares about money, not its customers. I do not recommend it because of the poor service and incorrect information on their website. I was extremely upset because my friend was visiting me from another country, and I wanted to make a good impression on her, but our dinner was a disaster.
Ordered a takeout order. Waited over 40 minutes because no server was present and door was locked. Please do not waste other people’s valuable time. Would have never ordered here in the first place if I knew I was going to wait for a cashier or server.
