My Thai Kitchen Los Angeles Reviews
After a show at Immanuel Presbyterian, we had some extra time and decided to look for dinner nearby. Google pointed us to My Thai Kitchen (4.6 stars), and honestly — great call. The place is cozy, super welcoming, and the service was on point. We ordered the Thai rib eye salad and shrimp tom yum noodle, both at a medium spice level. The rib eye salad was so good — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tom yum noodle had that classic tangy, spicy kick without being overwhelming. Comfortable spot, seriously tasty food, and great service. Definitely adding this place to our go-to list. 🌶️🍜
MyThai Kitchen is an absolute gem! I have a personal rule: if a Thai restaurant serves curry with young coconut, I have to try it. So, naturally, I ordered their Hor Mok Ta-lay, and I am still dreaming about it. This dish was a masterpiece – a whole young coconut generously filled with a delectable mix of fresh seafood, all swimming in a rich and fragrant Panang curry. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the sweetness of the coconut complementing the savory spice of the curry and the freshness of the seafood. It was, without a doubt, the best version of this dish I have ever tasted. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. And as if the incredible taste wasn't enough, they served it with pure, refreshing coconut juice straight from the young coconut, completely free with the dish! This was such a thoughtful and delightful touch that elevated the entire experience. Highly recommended!
I loved how fresh the food was! I'm used to getting Pad Ke Mao with stale veggies. I could tell everything used while making my food was as fresh and clean as possible. I liked the vibe that the establishment was putting out. The bowls are a good touch. Staff was really friendly and professional. There's valet in the back!
Superb food, quality, friendly and attentive service (table touch at perfect times), ambiance, and overall guest experience. Welcomed immediately upon walking in with great hospitality. Table presentation detailed with flower vase arrangement is joyful. I’m vegetarian, pretty much vegan. Ordered the Buddha Bless vegetable bowl with brown rice served on the side and added soy chicken for a more hearty meal. All were cooked and seasoned wonderfully making it totally succulent. I also had a ginger lemonade beverage which was delicious too. Took photos to give those with interest in dining a true sense of how clean and nicely operated this restaurant is along with the meal. The men’s restroom even had artwork hanging and was of utmost cleanliness. My server during our dialogue exchange was kind enough to introduce herself (Anna) and I complimented her as well as the team working at the time. Bring a healthy appetite and enjoy! Figure $30 at dinner time with tax and tip included for a meal (Buddha Bless with soy chicken $18.95) and drink (Ginger Lemonade $5.95). They are now open seven days again and have lunch specials between 11AM-3PM Monday-Friday and open all day without a two hour break between lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.
Fresh hot soup with nice presentation. The shrimp was cleaned which many places don't clean properly. Seafud curry in young coconut was perfection!
I love the food at this place and how many options there are. Everything I have tried there has been good to order again. My favorite has been the red curry with tofu and the Thai tea is soo good too.
8-24-22. Friend & I had lunch. He had shrimp and noodles. I had the lunch special with pork. Both were very good and good price. Service was polite and fast. Great place to go. 2nd time here. We dined out side. Thanks for Great Service!
I’ve lived in LA for 20+ years and this is hands down my favorite vegan/vegetarian friendly Thai restaurant. The food is always super fresh and flavorful. I’ve come here once a week for the last month and each time I ordered something different from their vegan/vegetarian options and every dish was incredible. The owner is super friendly as well and accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions or need substitutions. This is a must go.
delicious thai food! the papaya salad was delicious, the tom yum soup was refreshing, and the green curry was creamy. our server was very attentive. food came out pretty quickly and everything was a large portion and a great deal.
The food here is delicious. I highly recommend a quick bite or a full meal. The heavenly salmon lived up to its name. The chicken larb was not as good. The dim sum is good and the wontons are delicious.the wait staff is courteous and helpful. The dining room is narrow and small but they do have wonderful sidewalk seating
Super fresh and delicious thai cuisine! We had the pad thai and the yellow curry with veggies and both were amazing. The curry was a bit too spicy for me , when i mentioned it to the cook they immediately changed it and put more coconut milk in it so it got perfectly mild. Thank you!!!!! Big portions for good prices

Best Thai food around with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The dishes are always made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I’ve been back several times and it’s consistently delicious—highly recommend!
Wonderful Thai food. The pad Thai was one of the best I’ve had in a long time - so moist, sweet and flavorful. The popcorn wontons and ginger lemonade were delicious too. The service was attentive and friendly. All around great place!
So amazing!! I certainly don’t expect to have the excellent meal I had, but hoped to be good. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant. Fresh ingredients, proteins were excellent and flavor was above and beyond!
delicious food and amazing customer service! i ordered catering for a meeting and the staff and manager were so helpful, communicative and kind in their service. the food arrived on time, and was delicious. can't recommend this restaurant enough.
one of our go-to spots for dine-in & takeout! their staff are very kind & knowledgeable about vegan dishes. i would especially recommend the veggie dumplings, soy chicken satay, Pad Gra Pow, Thai iced tea with coconut milk, Mongol noodles, & spicy fried rice (all of which can be made vegan).
Delicious food—wow! I definitely recommend this place. The pad Thai was absolutely out of this world, and I say that as a true pad Thai lover. I honestly haven’t had one this good in years. The popcorn wontons were also fantastic. The service was excellent as well; the staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly.
I had one of the best Thai meals of my life here. A group with vegetarian, pescetarian, and carnivores and we all had a delicious meal. I am not sure what was so good but it was perfectly spiced. Huge portions and a sizeable vegetarian menu with many substitute options for chicken, beef etc.

People might think the best Thai food in LA is in Thai town, but it’s actually here in k-town. This has been my favorite Thai place for years. They have the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Nothing else even comes close, and I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants. The wait staff is super friendly and even the chef waves at me because I come so often lol Everything else is good too - spicy fried rice, boat noodle, etc.
I love the crab fried rice, pad see ew and chicken wing. Delicious and v authentic ! The place was clean and service was very nice.

If I could, l'd give this place 0 stars. Placed a to-go order last night a couple of hours before closing time. I ordered the cream cheese wontons and chicken pad thai (no peanuts). I took my order home, finished the wontons, and ate my pad thai a little before deciding to save the rest for later. Later on, about halfway through eating the pad thai, I bit something hard & unchewable, which threw me for a loop because that's not standard for any pad thai I've ever had. Couldn't believe my eyes when I realized the foreign object was a broken fingernail. I began to feel immediately sick and disgusted. I attempted to call the restaurant only to see that it had already closed. I decided to take pictures to prove my case for when I would call for a refund the following morning. I called the restaurant first thing in the morning after the opened. To my horror, the manager began to gaslight me and lie saying that it was a piece of garlic and could not be a broken fingernail. This was after explaining that I attempted to chew on this flavor less object and showed her the pics I posted with this review. She then refused to give me a refund or accept any accountability for a fingernail getting into a paying customer's order. She even tried to place blame on me for not calling the night before (despite the discovery being made AFTER business hours) saying that I waited too long to eat my food. As if that has anything to do with the complaint at hand. The meal itself wasn't anything to write home about anyway, and if this situation didn't happen, I would've still looked for a different thai spot to try another time. Couple that with terrible customer service, I wouldn't recommend anyone dining here. There's plenty of other Thai spots around to choose from don't waste your money or time.
