Phorage Los Angeles Reviews
Great Vietnamese restaurant. There’s a small parking lot and it’s in the corner. There are six tables and a large middle table. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were only two but really good.
Very friendly staff. A lot of food for the price. I enjoyed the spicy lemongrass pho. The dumplings were very crunchy.
I was never a pho person but this place is the best. Its a cute shop on the corner. This is the only spot I will go to for pho. Ask for Silvia! She was super nice and was attentive to whatever we needed. We will be back soon!
The food was delicious and fresh and the waitress was excellent, 10/10 recommend this spot for bomb pho! Get the lemongrass add in in the soup!
This is a great pho option on the west side. The wagyu beef pho is tasty. The meat is tender and delicious, and the bowl has good portions of both meat and noodles. I found the broth to be a bit one dimensional compared to other pho I’ve had, but adding the holy basil, lime and jalapeño helps make the broth a lot more fragrant and complex. The imperial roll is a delicious take on traditional recipe. It’s super crispy and the meat inside has great flavor and pairs great with the sauce.
Atmosphere is amazing. It's nice and relaxing and I can focus on eating my food. Service was great. They're very kind and welcome. I've been looking for a good Pho place since I moved here from the east coast and I think I've found it 10/10 all around.

Always excited to support a pho restaurant, especially because there's not many on the west side. The fish sauce wings were incredible and ana hai and alvie were great hosts. You can tell they really enjoy the environment!
Great neighborhood location. Service is great, and food is fantastic.
Their menu is unique, oxtail was flavourful, lemongrass pork and beef was tasty but a bit too spicy (people who like spicy food may find it perfect). Friendly and fast service. The ambiance is pretty cool and dim. Retro 80’s/90’s music.
Phorage is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty. I usually order the spring rolls, imperial rolls, jidori chicken broken rice or vermicelli bowl. All have been delicious. I tend to order delivery, but when you dine in, it’s no frills and quick. Very chill atmosphere. Good for solo dining or a duo.
great experience! staff was polite and food was delicious! i ordered the coconut ground beef curry and imperial rolls and both were delectable!! highly would recommend and will come back soon!
My favorite pho in LA because it was the first place that was so good I finished every last drop of broth. Most places I'll start using the sauces part way through, but I never get bored of the flavors at Phorage. My favorite is their oxtail pho, but their regular beef is also top notch!
Love the pho here! The spicy lemongrass pho is absolutely amazing! so flavorful and comforting. The staff is incredibly sweet, and the spring rolls are delicious too.
Their spicy lemongrass pho was yummy! 😋 Their garlic noodles were mmm mm good. Add some chilli paste n sirach..bomb! Great little vibe and atmosphere. Very peaceful Beautiful corner in Culver City neighborhood

I appreciate the large amount of vegan options they have! The employees are very helpful and the place itself is nicely decorated and clean.

Pretty solid pho place. Was craving a warm soup and was not disappointed. Also ordered the fish sauce wings. Service was great as a plus, our waiter was super sweet!
I've been here a couple times and will continue to partake in homely style Vietnamese. The quality of everything is a notch above the rest. While everything comes out fresh, I have to say their Pho lacks flavor, compared to rivals. It's unfortunate because it's just so fresh and beautiful. I do applaud their to-go containers. Simply the best I've ever seen. Continues to keep everything fresh even after Door-Dash delays your order beyond recognition.

My local pho place. The broth is delicious and flavorful. Maybe a tad salty but that’s ok with me. I always get the ox tail pho with extra broth. They always do a nice mix of large and small bones. They serve to-go noodles in a separate steaming container above the broth so they don’t get mushy. Not cheap but not crazy expensive, especially considering the quality of their ingredients. I don’t eat beef often but when I do, I want it hormone free and of the best quality. I do have one complaint: they’ve been serving the chili sauce and hoisin sauce in one little to-go cup. They get mixed up and I don’t get to control how much of each flavors my food.
Overall this restaurant is a 3 out of 5. Service was good but food is just okay. We got - Wagu beef Pho with beef balls: the broth is not flavorful (trust me when I say it is not flavorful). The good thing here is the beef ball and the Wagu beef. They do give you a good amount of meat - vermicelli noodles with pork: meat isn't tender or flavorful. The egg roll was better than the meat. The fish sauce just okay. - clay pot chicken: a bit too salty. We had to add lime juice to make it more eatable. Rice was good. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Service was great — really friendly and on top of things. Unfortunately, the pho itself was pretty underwhelming. The broth just didn’t have much flavor, which was a bummer since that’s kind of the whole point of pho. Nothing wrong with the ingredients, it just tasted flat overall. I wanted to like it more because the experience was nice, but the food didn’t quite get there for me.
I’ve been to Phorage Overland a few times now, and the food is consistently pretty good. Everything I’ve tried has had great flavor, the portions are solid, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff have always been helpful, and their happy hour is a strong plus with genuinely affordable food and drinks. Where the experience loses me is the atmosphere and the wait times. The space feels like it’s missing a clear personality, there’s a small corner of knick-knacks and a shelf along the wall with more of the same, but it doesn’t really come together or create much of a vibe. It ends up feeling more functional than welcoming. The biggest downside for me has been the wait. Even when I place orders online ahead of time, I’m still waiting 40–60 minutes, and this has been consistent over multiple visits across several months. That really takes away from the convenience and makes it hard to justify coming back as often as I’d like. At least there’s music playing and a TV showing sports to pass the time, but overall the experience feels average despite the good food. If the timing and atmosphere improved, this would easily be a higher rating for me.

Nothing special at all about the food, and it’s not particularly cheap. The inside of the restaurant is lacking in decorations, giving it a sort of sterile feeling. Service was fast and attentive, though. Happy hour 3-6 pm, $5 draft beer and $10 draft sake.
the food didn’t taste Vietnamese at all. The pho broth is a bit too peppery so would skip. The pork in the vermicelli bowl was cooked well, but the imperial roll also tasted just okay. However you do get a free drink if you leave a google review :)

This is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. The portions were small, and it had no flavor. In short, it was absolutely awful!!!
