Monomyth Coffee Lubbock Reviews
Great place to chill with great coffee. I personally got the latte with vanilla and lavender and I loved it
Very skilled and friendly baristas! The mocha and cortado are very good. Very cute interior with many little places to sit and enjoy a nice coffee.
Hands down the absolute best coffee shop in Lubbock. Any time we come into town, this is our first stop. The pour over is delicious and the baristas know what they're doing - they're very helpful, they offer advice, and they are as nice as can be. We've tried many different coffee shops throughout Lubbock, but nothing compares to Monomyth. I'll even add that most coffee shops I've been to in Dallas/Fort Worth (which is a ton) don't even compare to the quality of coffee I receive here.
Originally came that cafe because wanted to try its toasts. Unfortunately they did not make today. We tried its egg quiche and liked it! They were light and delicious! We also ordered latte signatures (ginger latte and hot choc peppermint). The place was spacious and a perfect place to study! The parking area maybe tricky.
In town for a spell, friend recommended Monomyth. I typically drink black coffee or cappuccinos, but decided to try the espresso solo, was not disappointed! Easiest shot I’ve had in awhile. Staff was very friendly and engaging. The only thing I would have changed about this experience is if I could buy retail. Love supporting local businesses, and they have excellent product!
I love this coffee shop. I'm moving to Lubbock soon, and every time I come into town I've gotta come in & get a cappuccino. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the coffee! My last visit I decided to try a pastry. I got the blackberry & lavender scone, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend them to any one looking for the best coffee in town.
I had a terrific experience. The space is clean. Well maintained and clearly cared for. The baristas were helpful and NOT snooty about answering questions I had about their coffee. They were well-informed with their offerings. It was quiet enough to enjoy, but not so quiet we couldn’t have a private conversation. The ONLY bad thing is the parking. I found some, but it was crowded. NOT their fault. Just a warning.
Went here because of the great reviews. The three of us each had a latte. It was lukewarm and dilute. The chocolate muffin was tasty but fell apart at the first touch, making a mess. Hard to see what all the fuss has been about. Not worth a special trip from the west of town. There are many better coffee shops closer to home.
This is a cute little coffee shop, indoor and outdoor seating. Items are over priced, food was good, simple, light. Service was good but very slow i would say we waited about 20 minutes to get our coffee after we ordered it. Coffee was not good, its probably one of the worst i have ever had. I was thinking that it might just be mine but my guest who ordered a different drink had a similar experience and didn't even finish their coffee. I don't know maybe the machines need to be cleaned maybe it was just a bad day. I don't know.
Coffee was very bitter and not made correctly. I only received 1 pack of sugar, which couldn't kill the taste. The staff was very nice but the atmosphere is to corporate.
