I very much enjoyed this restaurant. I had the Texas Platter with a house salad and chili beans. The only thing "Texas" about this platter was the size of the meal. It is served on a cafateria size tray and I was unable to finish the meal. The un-Texas (California special) Tri-Tip was very good. However, I could have done without the bbq sauce on the Tri-Tip. The shrimp were large, and the sausage was very well flavored. The half chicken was a little dry but very well seasoned and was great. The highlight of the meal was the chili beans. By far, the BEST beans I have had in a while. They made the platter!

Excellent food taste. Chili beans were a little dry to my liking but they had a good flavor. We also order the calamari appetizer and it was delicious. Perfectly fried. The chicken dinner combined perfectly with the pickled onion with oregano. Meat loaf was delicious. Good portions on the meals, more than enough for one person. Our waitress, Kelli was really attentive. TO BAD IT IS GOING TO CLOSE ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I will be returning very soon one last time…

Currently shows 3.9 on reviews, should be 4.5 at least. The ribs were some of the best I have had, perfect and tasty. Pulled pork was good, had some of the "good" fat in it, all easy to chew. If this place were near my hometown, it would be my go to for pork ribs for sure. Plate shown is Caveman (2 choice of meats, 2 sides. Had salad and beans, beans were tasty as well, little spice.

For a golf club lunch spot, it's about what you would expect. Convenient, great views of tee off 1, nice people, not as friendly and attentive as I have experienced in other clubs. Nothing outstanding, yet not a dump.

Very very very slow service. Took 5 minutes to get a menu. Took another 10 minutes until someone came to take my order. After my food was delivered, the only time a server checked on me was to give me the bill. After I had paid by QR code (because no server was coming back), I had to wait 5 minutes standing at the bar to ask for a to-go box for the rest of my sandwich. The tri-tip was dry until I ordered BBQ sauce (which was very spicy, BTW--fine for me, but not for everyone). The garlic fries were amazing. I definitely recommend them.

Food looked great, it was cooked beautifully. Not too much flavor tho to be bbq. Mac n cheese was cheesy but no flavor, beans were good!! Potato salad not so much and the garlic fries were very disappointing, hardly no garlic and they were soggy...I will give them a second chance but I was definitely disappointed. Also the service wasn't great and it wasn't too busy so there's that...

The ambience is a 5/5 but the food is so bland. I’ve only been here a handful of times but I’ve never been wowed. This last time I went I decided to try their breakfast...I mean it’s hard to get breakfast food wrong...it was missing all the flavor! The French toast was bland i had to bathe it in syrup so were the potatoes. They needed some salt and garlic powder or even some small diced onion. The chorizo in the breakfast burrito was undercooked it still had that raw smell to it. I don’t think I’ll order again. There’s tastier food in Madera.

Ordered the Sweetheart dinner for two. The steak was good but a little burnt. Wasn’t a fan of the salad that was just 1/2 a lettuce head smothered with a ton of blue cheese. Our meal was supposed to come with 2 dinner rolls and 2 desserts but they forgot and the waitress never came back to check on us. She also forgot one of our beverages. We asked the bus boy for some service and he seemed confused and didn’t know what to do. So we headed to the front to ask for our rolls and dessert and the waitress only offered a 10% discount which wasn’t enough to cover the loss.

All I can say is all the food is really uninspired. I am not a picky eater, but both my wife and I agreed that the BBQ chicken salad was inedible. The ketchup on the outside table was warm and looked the wrong color. The fries were cold and flavorless. The pulled pork sandwich was only edible, but not good. I can't even give good marks for service as our waitress would only give us a 50% discount on the salad when we complained. Really?? Why should I have to pay anything for inedible food? If a patron musters the courage to tell you the food is inedible, the only reasonable response is to apologize and remove it from the bill.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED! I Door Dashed dinner. 2 Steak and a Salmon Salad. I get a notification that The Chef decided to change the Salmon entree to a Calamari Steak without calling or checking with me. My family member is allergic to Calamari. They sent an allergen into my home! I tried calling the restaurant, no one picks up. I contact my Door Dash Driver and tell them what's going on, and he's told "Tell the customer to take it up with Door Dash we don't talk to the customer" REALLY??? EVEN IF IT COULD KILL THEM??? I'M FURIOUS! I called spoke to a manager who apologized, but I'm still furious, any restaurant who blase takes customers lives and health lightly deserves to be shutdown!

Visited Saturday 9/20 25, for dinner. Tried to sit in Patio area, tables totally disorganized. Went inside, found a table, many not cleaned up… Not to busy, had 3 servers..: One table next to us walked out, taking to long to have someone take care of them.. Our server was fairly new, but did take our drink order shortly after sitting down. Ordered our Dinners, mine came 1st. Pasta dish was undercooked and luke warm. Waited a long time for server to check on us, Finally came, ( husband’s was still not ready) By then we were done and very disappointed!! Paid for our drinks and left. Not our first time here. Stopped coming about 4 months ago, Thought we’d give it another shot… Has not changed… Very disappointed!!!
