Para Llevar Marfa Reviews
Para Llevar is open when so many other places aren’t. And we’re glad this is where we “had” to go. A friend recommended the pizza, so we ordered the chicken pesto. It was very reasonably priced and very good. We also ordered the strawberry margarita, which was fantastic! 5 out of 5! We’ll come again.
This is a really nice little place. Pizza was delicious. Greek salad and wings to top it off. Delicious meal. Highly recommend.
Really great bacon bacon pizza. The crust was the right amount of fluffy and crunchy and yeasty. The blt was also good with thick bacon. The man who was working was very friendly. The bathroom is out in the courtyard. It sounded strange, but it was really clean and cute.
Wonderful environment, great food! Are the Margarita sunrise Pizza. Authentically wood fired very well put together and delicious. We sat in the "cactus courtyard" in the back. Very relaxing. Absolutely loved the bathroom there. It is experience all on its own! Dog friendly as well. There were even some water bowls for our little guy.
Delicious wood fired pizza in a small town. Ordered at the walk up window and 2 pizzas took about 20 minutes. Perfect after a long day at Big Bend National Park with nothing else for hours. Highly recommend the chicken pesto pizza. Medium sized pizzas with about 6 small slices each. There is an outdoor courtyard in back with games and tables and chairs.
I had the kale pizza, it was great! I am quite demanding when it comes to Neapolitan-style pizza because it’s my favorite kind, but this place did not disappoint. Would eat here again!
Para Llevar Bodega + Deli was thankfully open, as much of Marfa closes in the afternoon. I’d go here again even if other places were open. Let me start by saying get a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. I want more!! The huge outdoor patio further adds to the ambience of the place. When you’re here, you’re family (much more than Olive Garden). The bacon bacon pizza, yum! I love the thick pieces of bacon and crust was delicious. And then there’s the drinks. I enjoyed the Sotol margarita, my first. Thanks Para Llevar!
We were in town for the weekend and decided to order pickup—went with the meatball sub, chicken pesto pizza, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious!
Para Llevar- It’s one of my favorite places to eat @ Marfa. The Pizza pies are amazing, I have tried the Pepperoni and the Margarita Pizza. I really enjoy the cookies! The Margarita is my favorite pizza, I think the prices are reasonable! Pizza is super tasty! I come here often! Never disappointed. The older gentleman who works behind the counter and is always so nice when he takes orders and he is very pleasant. He really goes above and beyond on the job. Nice customer service! There is seating inside and outside for Para Llevar. It’s a vibe 😀 I love Brick Oven Pizza 🍕
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Para Llevar I go to Marfa pretty often, and Para Llevar has become my go-to spot. I absolutely love their Greek salad — it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had. I usually ask for it with different meats, sometimes with chicken, and other times they serve it with prosciutto, depending on what I request. It’s always fresh, flavorful, and just right. I’ve also tried their pizza, which was really good, but those are the only two things I’ve eaten here so far. Both have been consistently great, and the quality never misses. I’ve also had their michelada, which is amazing. I’ve ordered it both on its own and mixed with sparkling water, and it’s so refreshing every time. It’s the perfect drink to go with the food. The place has a really good vibe — casual, well put together, and I recently discovered they have a patio in the back. When the weather in Marfa is cloudy, it’s such a nice spot to sit and enjoy the moment. I’ll definitely keep coming back, just like I always do. Para Llevar is one of my must-stop places in town.
Wow. I would never have guessed I would taste the best pizza I have ever put in my mouth in this little nowhere ghost town in Texas! Seriously, it is authentic Italian pizza, but better. Incredible! Go here if you come through Marfa!!
Awesome place with one of the best tasting pizza. The bodega offers some great gifts, snacks, and souvenirs. The place throws out some delicious pies from their wood oven. I recommend stopping here on your way in and out.
Yes we are NY pizza snobs and yes this pizza lives up to all the hype. Period. A top 5 anywhere of all time! Great outdoor setting with lots of little touches, including the bathroom. Yes, a sink with soup and water is kind of a miss here but hell… THE PIZZA!! Would love to attend a wedding reception as the back yard space is exceptional.

Excellent fresh and affordable meals. Eat outside or stay indoors. The owner added all of these extra things to my kale salad and didn’t charge me. Fabulous avocado toast!!!
This place is awesome!! We had salads, pizza and hummus!! The have a real wood burning oven so pizza and bread for hummus was delicious! Highly recommend!

I tried the avocado toast and I can't stop thinking about it. It was so flavorful! They serve wood fire pizza which my husband had and it was really good too! Oh and of course do not forget the lemonade. Yummy!
The food was delicious, and I really appreciated how authentic it tasted. The pizza had great flavor, a good sauce, and a nice crunch. I ordered a classic margarita to go with it, and it did not disappoint. They were strong, tasty, and definitely worth the price. One gave me a good buzz, and two took me past it, so the size and value were totally worth it. The only downside was the older gentleman who took our order. He wasn’t very friendly, didn’t greet us, or make us feel welcome. But overall, the food was really yummy.
Great place to dine. The sandwiches are big and yummy. I enjoyed the pizza but I didn't know it doesn't come with sauce but still yummy.
Nice spot for lunch. Very busy on the day we were there which created a long wait time for th desired pizza. We opted for Greek salads and grilled cheese sandwiches, both of which were substantial and quite good. We saw a number of people who really seemed to be enjoying the pizza, so perhaps worth the wait if you have time. We didn't but were happy with our choices.

Server was into herself. Greek salad was good but came to me w/o dressing. “Server” was a B when I approached the counter about being dry. Margaritas are strong and good. Pizza is fresh but needs some salt and corn meal added to dough. Atmosphere is -takes all kinds sort of situation.

Two pizzas were ordered. Our friends pizza came out first. By the tie we got ours, they were done eating. Also, this place needs to update their menu. We went there for pizza, beer, and margaritas. No margaritas even though their menu and sign outside said they did.
