302 Thai Express Marlin Reviews
Stopped in for a quick lunch. it was incredible, fresh ingredients you can taste! And hospitality that reminds you of home. I can’t wait to return to try every dish! It’s THAT GOOOOD! Come on by. They treat you right!
This is a hidden gem in Marlin! The place is very clean, owners friendly and sweet, and the food was cooked to perfection! We love Thai food and will return often! We had the Ginger Pad and Pad See Ew and both were seasoned wonderfully. The chicken satay and the sauces that accompany it were sooooooo good! My daughter also had a watermelon Boba that she loved. Go see them, you won't regret it!
I'm from out of town. I'm in marlin for work. I read the reviews and took chance. I'm so glad I did!! YUM. SO SO SO GOOD!! Great food, great service!
Small quiet place. Inside and old gas station from times long ago. The food was great and service with a smile!
Good food lots of flavor. Non fried spring roll made fresh. Got the chicken and mixed veg over rice #6. Very good 392 Thai Express seats about 30 guests. I would recommend. Seems to be one of the top places to eat in Marlin!
First timer here and new to Thai food. Drink: Taro Boba tea. The taro powder is perfection. Unfortunately, they were out of tapioca pearls, so I got strawberry bursting bubbles that complemented the taro quite nicely. I do hope they get some more tapioca pearls soon. I missed the chew. Appetizers: The fried crab rangoons were hands down the BEST I've ever had. They were filled very well with a strong tasty crab flavour and the crisp shell looked hand-shaped and were thin and fresh. I cannot wait until I have these again. The chicken spring rolls (not fried) were okay. They looked great and were full of veg, however they did not taste seasoned in the slightest. The peanut sauce that came with them was also bland and disappointing. Entrees: The chicken chow mein was tasty, if a little basic. Not enough chicken. Noodles were perfect though. The #9 with beef was very spicy but delicious. It's a building spice so I had to eat it very quickly to be able to manage the heat. Jasmine rice was lovely. Not enough beef. The green curry with jasmine rice was so good! The spice on this was said to be a mild, but I counter that it was actually a medium spice. That being said, the spice level was more kind and sank down to the back of my throat as a small tingle, which was nice. The portions could easily be 2-3 servings per entree, so while each entree is $12 (including a meat), this could really be $4-$6 a serving, which is a pretty good deal!
Everything was excellent! It’s a quaint little place with superb food and service. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for something to eat in the area.
Great food and very friendly service.
Great Pad Thai, very reasonable prices. Perfect spot to stop if you're taking the scenic route from Waco to Austin
This tiny family restaurant has the most sweet chef and waitress, the food is amazing.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the small town of Marlin, Tx. I got the shrimp tempura and Pad Thai and My God, the quality and taste is heavenly! I can tell they make each food with love. I’ve eaten in many places around the USA and this restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever encountered. It’s worth driving a few hours just to try it or if you’re working near by this town 👍
Super friendly staff. Amazing food. Definitely recommend them.
An excellent, family owned and operated Thai restaurant in the most unlikely of places. They serve authentic Thai home cooking, prepared by one of the owners (the wife, who is Thai). The ingredients are super fresh and of the highest quality, and I love the "hole in the wall" ambiance. When passing by Marlin, TX on SR 6, a stop here is a must!
The chef of this quaint restaurant is a powerhouse. She is the only one in the kitchen and her food still comes out piping hot with tons of flavor. I'm also in love with the crab ragoons she makes. They're easily some of the best I've eaten.
The food here is so good, it’s authentic and tastes just like the food my dad’s Thai friend makes. Me and my father were passing through Marlin and decided to visit this place, it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, the Yellow curry, and some Thai tea, all of it was delicious. If you’re in Marlin, I beg you, please visit this restaurant.
Food was delicious, fresh and authentic. Service was top notch. Great little spot in Marlin, we will definitely be back!
SOOOOO GOOD! The Pad Thai was delicious! The gal working was running the place solo, our food came out quickly, tasty and hot! She even brought it out to our car for us! Great experience WILL BE BACK
Stopped by to get food to go. Fresh food and great flavors. Would go back. Staff and owners very nice and accommodating
First time eating here. I ordered C2 with extra shrimp. Soooooo gooood. Very flavorful. Worth every penny. I also ordered the strawberry boba smoothly, chefs kiss. Will be coming back
The food is great! As good or better than my favorite place in Houston. Owners are so nice and take good care of you.
