SISAKET THAI KITCHEN Martinez Reviews
1st time in. So glad I did. This place sets the bar for tasty Thai food. Fantastic flavor ! There were 5 things on menu I wanted. I had the eggplant stir fry with chicken. Eggplant has a bad rep. Nobody orders it but this dish was excellent. The service is quick and friendly. I look to forward to coming back and trying my four other favorites. Thank you❤️
It's our second time coming here and it didn't disappoint. Food was great. We ordered the sweet and sour Pampano and catfish the first time, and today we order the beef curry & branzino. All gone. Great service. Definitely recommend 100%.
I got pad see ew and my husband got pad Thai, both $15 each. Great price and food couldn’t have been better!!
Crab Fried rice was amazing.., fresh and tasty.., 9 out of 10 definitely will try again

Caveat: I’ve only eaten here once as takeout. Staff was friendly, efficient. All of the food was delicious. We got the drunken noodles (pad kee mao), massaman lamb curry, pineapple fried rice with pork, and papaya salad. The drunken noodles were exactly what I hoped for. They had that subtle smokiness from the wok, everything was infused with a hint of basil, there were plenty of veggies (though few shrimp which is a $3 add-on) and the noodles were soft and springy and just slightly sticky, not all gummy and clumped together as sometimes happens. The lamb in the curry was tender, and the curry was warm and well-spiced and slightly sweet. The other two dishes were excellent sides I will get again, but the first two were the standouts. We ordered everything medium spicy, and for me, it was the perfect balance where I could feel a bit of heat but it didn’t overpower the other flavors.
Best Thai restaurant around. Julie and I always get steak plate with vegetables and mouth watering!! The service is the best. The waiter knows what we like, he just asks same!!
Tried the Valentine’s meal for $60 + tax. Worth it since we had lots of amazing dishes. Coconut soup and khao soi were my favorite. The eggplant was a little bit chunky but still good. Would definitely come back again.
I upset when heard the previous thai restaurant was closing as I like it and there are pretty few good food options in Martinez. But I have to say that I like Sisaket even better! We always get a couple currys and the coconut lemon grass soup. It is always delicious! We now compare every other Thai restaurant we go to with Sisaket. Rarely do we find anything as good. Service is always friendly and accommodating. So glad we have this little gem in Martinez! Please patron them so they can stay!
By any name over the last few years, this has been a great (delicious) place to enjoy friends and to converse in a gentle environment with pleasant service. I haven't eaten any Thai food there that wasn't delicious. The curries are probably my go-to favorites. R
I just recently discovered Sisaket Thai Kitchen and I must say their food is delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant for dine in or take out. Today I dined in and had Tom Yum Soup with roasted duck and it was scrumptious!
Green curry, spicy eggplant, crispy rolls, and pad thai were all delicious! We used to love Ginger Thai at this location, so it’s great to know the quality hasn’t decreased
Just ate here yesterday afternoon and had a wonderful meal. We tried the mango curry with chicken. It was deliciously flavored with a lovely hint of heat. We also tried the steak and fried rice special. The steak was flavorful, and the fried rice was the best I ever had. I need to go back to explore more of the menu.
Popped in for lunch during Jury Duty service. Everything was great. Had the eggplant with chicken and it was one of the best I've ever had !!!
The staff/owner is very friendly and makes the guests feel welcome to the restaurant. The quality and taste of the food is excellent- probably on par with my favorite Thai food I have ever had. I have eaten there twice. On the first visit I had the mango curry & pad Thai, the second visit had the red curry & pad kee mao. Each dish tasted fresh with the perfect balance of seasonings. I am looking forward to trying all the curry dishes and already planning what to eat on my next visit. The prices are pretty good for the amount of food you receive, each visit I leave with enough left overs for 2-3 more meals. The only thing I dislike about the restaurant is that it seems especially cold inside. So far I have been to the restaurant in January & February & the temperature inside the restaurant was about the same as outside the restaurant. So if you go in winter months dress for chilly conditions.
I have to say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been able to try that isn't in San Fran or Berkeley. They are not stingy with the portions of food and the flavor is amazing. Each dish has flavor and individual attention of love. Plus the roti and curry sauce ....mmm 😋 Make sure to try every item on the menu at least once!

Very good, very authentic Thai food. The services are outstanding, the manager Ken and Elle are amazing. Our favorite dishes are Branzino, Kapow Kai dow and the mango sticky rice.

Good food, was busier then they planned for, could have used an additional staff. Great food
I got the mango salad and pad thai which are pretty good. Service is great and personable. The place is clean and neat.
So my husband and I came here for lunch today because we were in the area. The place is clean and the staff is lovely. We ordered the Curry Noodles with chicken, the fried fish (sauce on the side) the ribeye with fried rice and the roti and curry as an appetizer. The fish was fried perfectly and tasted fresh. The sauce that came with it my husband liked but I found that overall the way they make their food is way too sugary. The yellow curry served with the roti was too sweet and the roti 🫓 was not as flaky as it could have been. The curry noodles had the same sauce as the roti so again super sweet tasted like sweeter condensed coconut milk mixed with a yellow curry powder with a touch of chili flakes. Definitely didn’t have the flavor of authentic curry. The chicken 🍗 was cooked well but not seasoned at all (a pinch of salt 🧂 would have been perfect) and it was a good portion. The ribeye and fried rice my husband loved. Overall, I don’t think the chefs here are doing their best to bring authentic flavor of Thai cuisine. I wanted to love it but I just barely liked it. But, if you’ve never had true Thai cuisine you may like it a lot. So don’t take my word for it.

I got takeout and felt the food was a bit subpar. Pineapple fried rice was very bland with no flavor. Rlgreen curry ordered as mild came out very spicy. I will say the pad Thai was fantastic. And the only shining star of our order.
Of everything, I expect that a spicy dish would be actually spicy. I ordered the Spicy Eggplant dish with tofu. It was nowhere near spicy. It felt barely seasoned. No heat at all! When I asked for it to be spicy-spicy, that didn't happen. Extremely disappointed
My manager ordered me lunch from here for pick up when I arrived there I decided I wanted to eat my food at the restaurant and I was told I couldn’t eat there cause my food was for pick up and I couldn’t eat inside I never been to a restaurant before and was told that.I was sitting by a window seat and was also told I couldn’t sit there because it was for four people but a couple walked right in after and got to sit at that same table I really felt like I was getting discriminated against, the manger of the restaurant was very rude I felt so uncomfortable I just got up and left it’s so disappointing you go and support a restaurant and this is the way you get treated , they don’t have to ever worry about getting my business ever again.
