Best burger in town. My favorite for sure, I'm biased. The only downsides for me is that everyone else likes it too and it can be crowded. I can't blame people for having good taste. The town has gotten a quite a few "transients" which may affect the experience sadly. Nonetheless this is the best burger in my book, fresh ingredients, and nice staff. 3x3 is the best

There is usually a big line for this In-n-Out, but they are able to take and give you your order pretty quickly. Not once he’s there been a mistake on an order, even when burgers have had specific instructions. I wouldn’t say In-N-Out has outstandingly good burgers, but they are good and made fresh. They are best when ate right away. The employees are fast, efficient, and respectful. I have yet to have a real issue here. The only downsides I can find is that the location of this place isn’t the best. People in need can also be found wandering around, but nothing major. The parking does get full, but you can’t expect a parking garage for a fast food place.

Good burgers ! Was the first time and it's really nice. You can choose only between 3 burgers so that makes it easy to order. The fries are home made. And it's quite cheap also. To try at least once even for the non fast food lovers!

In-N-Out is my gold standard for fast food. Just typing this review is making me hungry.

The food was what one expects in any of these stores, very good, but.. the friendly staff is over the top and the location close to the freeway is excellent. But, unlike most In N Outs this one also has a very large parking lot to accommodate trucks and RV's easily. I have made note of it for future stops!

The place it's self is great the staff great the food great, it's the surrounding people, young people can be so rude, under 23, idk just loud rude messy in the restaurant

At a burger joint that is so simple but great it's hard to mess it up. The only way in my mind that they could possibly make you a bad meal is portion control on the burger or under/overcooking your fries. They didn't do either and everything was perfect. I trust this store every time I drive through here and they don't disappoint.

My family and I hit In-N-Out at least once a month—it’s our go-to spot. We always ask for extra spread because, honestly, it makes everything better. My order never changes: a 4x4 Animal Style, loaded with melty cheese, grilled onions, and that perfect sauce. My wife keeps it classic with a Double-Double, and the kids love their cheeseburgers. Fresh fries, pink lemonade make it a meal we never get tired of. It’s more than just food, it’s our little family tradition.

Overly popular location. Food always tastes fresh. The mustard fried 4x4 with whole grilled onion is always on point. Wash it down with a Neopolitan milkshake and you won't be sorry. Staff is always friendly.

Even when this place is bursting at seams and a drive-thru line wrapped around the building with the dinner rush, the staff of this In-N-Out stay on top of it and get you the classic In-N-Out burgers and fries you love fast and friendly. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating so even with the large crowd when we went my friends and I were able to find seating to enjoy our meals.

It's In-N-Out burger. What more is there to say? For those who haven't heard the hype, the burgers here are fantastic. Unlike most fast-food places, after having eaten a double double and fries I did not feel gross and bloated. The lettuce was crisp, the tomatoes were fresh and everything just tasted good. This location specifically had kind and helpful staff, and it was nice and clean inside. Despite a line almost out the door, and a full drive thru, our food didn't take more than 10 minutes to get to us (probably closer to 5). If you want fast-food that tastes a lot better than typical fast-food then go here!

Literally the only burger joint I go to! Burgers are always delicious and the animal fries are amazing! It’s perfection every single time! Best Burger Joint in Town. I think In-n-Out is one of my most favorite places to eat here in Merced. As is for most people living here from his packed it always is. The food is great, friendly atmosphere, AC, plenty of parking, restrooms, wheelchair accessible, handicap parking, drive thru, etc. I Love it !!!

I LOVE IN N OUT!! one of my favorite places to eat and its such a classic. i love the simple menu and how cheap it is as well. when we went the line was out the door but it moved pretty quickly and we got our food after not even waiting that long. always hard to find a seat inside though.

Me and my teammates thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this in-n-out. The moment we walked in, we were stunned by the polished countertops, unique architecture, and friendly faces greeting us at the counter. We purchased a variety of burgers, fries, and drinks and were not disappointed. The cheese melted on the tongue and the fries were crispy, yet fluffy. I will definitely be coming again.

Got mine animal style(onions and special sauce) as something different from other burger chains. It's OK but ehhh. You can get it on the burger and the fries. I would not get the fries animal style again. Glad I tried it as I've heard so much about it.

Food is good,prices are what prices are in our new reality. If people have a problem with prices, they shouldn't go out. This definitely is not the 80's anymore,lol. Place is busy for good reason. Keep up the great job guys and gals!!!

MID. I was so exciting to try in n out for the first time (visiting) . So basic and boring. Don’t understand the hype. You can get the same burger at Dick’s. Not eating here again smh. & the fries were salty.

Listen the reason why I'm giving them an overall three and this to all restaurants this is because it's not Incorporated with the old school where you can go and have a drink or have a burger and plug in your phone to you know you lost a little me time you know that's where we go to those these burger joints. The young woman gave me the wrong order. She gave me an extra strawberry shake and she asked for it back so I gave it back. Then she gave me the white box with the cheeseburgers and she asked for the box. It was the wrong order. So I returned the box. I literally just left the urgent care because my daughter has sore throat. Whoever they gave the order to I hope they don’t get sick. This happened around 7 pm today. Starbucks usually lets you keep the wrong order. Once they give you the wrong order and you have it in your hand they don’t ask for it.

I JUST left rhthe drive thru at 4 pm. The young lady taking orders outside was AMAZING. Super impressed with her. However I got the food window and the girl tried to give me the wrong order. I corrected her, but got all the way 25 mins across town to find out that my son’s animal fries are missing. I work really hard for my money to just get ripped off.

I like coming here, but find it gross that this company puts the straw in for you. Please stop, it's unsanitary. I always request they not do it, but they continue to. I might have to go to Sonic instead for my drinks, at least they won't do that.

Only thing, I would say. Make sure your fries are hot. Make sure the animals fries are hot. I recently went and my fries were cold , which was a huge disappointment.

I was at the second window waiting for my food, and they usually greet you and confirm you order when you arrive at that window, but the girl who helped me ignored me for about 5 minutes without letting me know that it would be a bit of a wait. When my order was ready she didn’t say anything and just handed me my bag. I usually don’t leave reviews but the workers here are always kind so u was a bit thrown off.

My burger was incredibly pink compared to my partners :( Not sure why, usually love this location but it’s just kind of uncomfortably pink. PS you do not want to mess with JJ B. I do not like pink burgers. I am feeling sick now. Ugh :(

When we arrived at In-N-Out, the place was bustling with activity. Despite the crowd, the staff’s efficiency shone through as they swiftly took our order. Our modest order consisted of seven burgers and two fries, and it was ready in about 15 minutes - a reasonable wait time considering the number of patrons. The real challenge was finding a place to sit due to the busy atmosphere. It’s a testament to the popularity of In-N-Out, but it did add a layer of inconvenience to our experience. As for the staff, they were professional and focused on their tasks. They might not have been the most welcoming, given their emphasis on efficiency, but they were definitely competent and ensured our order was handled well.

Ordered two burgers with extra toasted buns and only one was barely eatable. Salty patties and it just mushed in my hand. I thought by ordering an extra toasted bun I’d be able to enjoy my food. Horrible . For the manger who was working 12/30/25 @5pm you need to have better customer service! Got my autistic kids burgers wrongs not to hard . Plain with ketchup only. They park me to fix one. After waiting 10min. I check my other food got the other burger wrong. Went inside made me wait another 15min for a burger with only ketchup not that hard !!!!!!! Should never have to be at a fast food restaurant for a hour. !!! By that time all my other fries and burgers were cold. Asked to remake them they said it will take even longer. ! Horrible experience! Thank you for the only one young lady who kept apologizing. Please teach your mangers/staff better !
