This place draw us in with its vibe. Spanish music, Cuban decor, a great fusion of Spanish and Cuban culture. After a flop of mojito at double the price on Lincoln road, this mojito was dangerously amazing. You will not stop at one. Great balance of sweetness and tartness. Food is beyond amazing. We had croquettes and my husband was amazed at how they managed to make spinach takes this good. Octopus was fresh and seasoned perfectly with Spanish paprika. Their ceviche was light, flavorful. I was trying to determine the distinct flavor of specific herb that was not cilantro, so I am thinking chervil? Definitely must try!

Wonderful little spot! We stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. The service was great; friendly and helpful. The food was really good. The plantain tostones with shredded crispy flank steak was a good start, then came the pimento stuffed with cod that was light and fragrant. Then the two stars of the show came! The octopus was wonderful, done to perfection. And the current special, oxtail was a great suggestion by our waitress! Both of these dishes were great. Although people recommend their mojitos, take a hint from their name and the writing on the wall: Tapas y VINOS

Guillermo was perfect, served us well and the food was simply amazing. The staff was fair and we felt right at home. Highly recommended. This is the best Cuban restaurant in Little Havana. Anyone looking for good food at an affordable price and not a tourist trap, this is the place.

This place reminds me of the restaurants in Spain! The waiters on the street waving you in, the tapas, and the drink specials. We came here specifically for the happy hour which is every day 4pm-8pm and all alcoholic drinks are 50% off. The happy hour did not disappoint, the drinks were strong and cheap which was refreshing for Miami. We only had one tapa because we already had a dinner reservation but the patata bravado were as good as the ones we had in Spain. The atmosphere is great and I really enjoyed stopping here!

Guillermo and Esequiel set the stage for a great afternoon. Menu hwas easy to navigate, authentic Spanish tapas with a perfect Cuban flair, vegan/vegetarian option easy to find.

We just moved to the area and decided on brunch at Cubata, and let me start by saying what a great choice! The service was fantastic. The waitress was knowledge and helped me decide on what to order as a vegetarian. Had plenty of options. My dad ordered fresh fish ceviche. Everything was delicious. The sangria was delicious. We will be coming back when visitor's come to town.

Lovely lovely place at the Little Havana Street. We sat outdoors as the weather was very nice. We had 2 beers and ordered a veg sandwich and a roasted chicken in orange sauce. Exceptional taste and large quantity. Prompt service, our server seemed to be a very happy go lucky kind of guy and volunteered to click some of our pictures. Highly recommended!! We actually initially went to Old Havana Cuban bar & restaurant as it was quite famous - it was quite crowded with 20 -30 min of waiting time. That's when we luckily discovered this gem of a place!!

Quaint little eatery with charming outdoor seating at colorful tile top tables. The portions are right sized for this street. There are so many varieties of tapas (small plates). I enjoyed the Tostones Con Vaca Frita. The tostone (smashed and fried plantain) was crispy and had a delightful crunch when bitten. The meat was tasty and juicy! So good! My wife had the Carpaccio de Salmon Ahumado. Thinly sliced smoked salmon with capers and a little leafy salad with sweet cherry tomatoes and red onion. That was also delicious. The flavors blended together so well. I wanted to eat more here, but I also wanted to save room to try other places along Calla Ocho. This was my favorite! We'll come back for a full meal!

Cubata is an absolute gem in Little Havana and quickly became one of my favorite spots in Miami. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels vibrant, welcoming, and lively without being overwhelming. The food is outstanding. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care and tradition. The tapas classics are elevated but still deeply comforting, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. You can taste the pride in the cooking. The cocktails deserve a special mention. They are perfectly balanced, refreshing, and beautifully done. Whether you are ordering a classic mojito, sangria or trying something new, you will not be disappointed. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Jessica made us feel like regulars even on our first visit, which says a lot. Cubata is the kind of place you bring visitors to show off Miami, but also where you keep coming back yourself. Highly recommend. This spot captures the heart and flavor of Miami perfectly.

One of my favorite spots in Miami to eat. They offer a wide variety of delicious food. I love the ropa vieja here, it is true and authentic Cuban cuisine and I highly recommend everyone to try this place. Great selection of drinks as well, the bartender makes the drinks perfect every time. Excellent service from everyone here. With live music on weekends, an amazing atmosphere and great service, this is the place to go!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience at Cubata During our four days in Miami, my husband, my family, and I visited Cubata twice, and both times were absolutely amazing. Honestly, it never disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the overall vibe is exactly what you want when you are on Calle 8. On weekends, they have live music, someone singing live, which makes the experience even better, fun, lively, and very Cuban. Even when there is no live music, the food and the service alone are more than worth it. Being able to enjoy a cigar while eating makes the whole experience even more special and relaxing. The service deserves a special mention. It is easily one of the best we experienced in Miami. The second time we went, we ordered the Cuban platter, which was incredible, everything on it was delicious. The lechón was slightly dry that day, and when we casually mentioned it, without even asking for anything, they immediately replaced it. That says everything about how much they care about their customers. This place is a must if you are on Calle 8. Amazing food, amazing service, great atmosphere, and attention to every detail. We will 100 percent come back next time we are in Miami.

Really vibey especially if you sit al fresco street side, totally understand why there's so many good reviews. See a constant stream of walking tours going past. Levi was a great help, recommending the octopus, plantain with shredded meat, and generally being very responsive. Really enjoyed the octopus, ceviche, cubaos and gazpacho.

Excellent mojitos and cuban sandwiches. Nothing was marked gluten free, but the Spanish tortilla did not affect the one in our group with Celiac. Fries are more like kid snack potato straws. Not the preffered side. On the end of the main drag which is nice for less foot traffic. Indoor and outdoor seating which allows smoking when outside. Cigar shop next door has a good selection to choose from to bring over for you meal.

I wish I read the comments before going. It is a great place with tasty food and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a tourist trap where the service charge of 18% was not clearly stated on the menu as you had to scroll to the very bottom of the page of the paperless menu (not on every page) to be informed about it. We were also not given a physical check, so on the top of the service change we left a regular tip when we were prompted. This unfortunately left an unpleasant feeling about the experience. The place has great food and drink. If they want, they can easily charge more for it without inventing schemes. Good food, bad business practices.
