Mi Mimosas Breakfast & Brunch Modesto Reviews
The mimosa flights are delicious and fun and I had the California Benedict and it was 🤌🔥
5+ STARS- OUR NEW SUNDAY BRUNCH TRADITION! Modesto is coming up with Fine Dining... Highly recommend Mi Mimosa between 10th & 9th on J St. their brunch menu is a welcome change from the ordinary! Great food, different ambience, outdoor dining, and not your everyday "boring brunch" They have every kind of Eggs Benedict you could imagine (regular, crab n shrimp, bacon avocado, and steak fajita to name a few) with homemade Hollandaise sauce.! Trust me, we are picky about hollandaise. And their cocktials...Giant Mimosa. In a 3 ft tall champagne glass (use entire bottle of champagne) 🍾 brought with a few straws. (such fun for my daughter's birthday brunch). Mimosas come in many flavors & regular sized for us "normal" folk. 😁 Our server LIZ WAS AMAZING! Service was awesome - the staff are customer service pro's. They even brought a "surprise gift" for our whole table(not just bday girl) with a candle and sang happy birthday! After asking Liz to choose my Kamakazee flavor- she made me a Watermelon Kamakazee so refreshing and yummy 🍉- I Highly recommend!!
Mimosas were fantastic. Food was good but pricey. Too many flies inside so we moved to a table outside. Loved the angel wings photo spot.
It’s a little odd for a breakfast place because it’s obviously a night club, but the food was really good and the drinks were great!!! We were really glad we stumbled in here today.
My family completely loved this place. We came for my husband's birthday and OMG!! It was so much. My kids both got a virgin piña colada that was delicious and we had a Giant Mimosa. The food was very good and the service was amazing. They even gave free shots to my husband for his birthday. Definitely will return.
Had a rehearsal lunch at Mimosas for 25 people. Service level and food were all excellent! Great local place for this event, close to several downtown wedding venues.
I’ve had breakfast there twice. The service was impeccable. Jennifer was our server and she was great. Everything with a smile. My omelet was absolutely yummy. I also ordered a burger to go and had it for dinner. It was made perfectly. I look forward to going again and again.
Had brunch with my mom and sister and had a blast. Our waiter was cool, music was awesome, our food was delicious and drinks were on point!! It was pricey but my sister paid so I was good 👍 great spot for brunch with friends!
stellar!! amazing service, really nice deco, and the portions are quite large. you know what else is large ? their Mimosas!!!! you can get one mega huge here. but I also got some really good fruity double shooters for just $10. biscuits n gravy were perfectt. found my new brunch place, no doubt!!
Open airy floor plan , very cool "day-club" vibes 🎶going on here ..comfortable booth seating as well as plenty of space for large groups..so invite all the family👨👩👧👦 and friends🫂..because this place isn't just a fun atmosphere💫 but every item I've ever ordered off of the large options menu has exceeded my expectations 😋..from the fantastic multiple flavor variations for the mimosas🍹 to full bar, and the food is spectacular 🤤🤌💋...what a wonderful time...highly recommend 👌 😎❤️🔥
I had chilaquiles it is really good but my hashbrown was cold. The service is good as well. They let you eat in peace and they are not rushing you. Overall I highly recommend the place.
Fabulous place!!! We were in Modesto for a family wedding. Stopped in for breakfast and drinks after finding them online. Had a prickly pear mimosa and a fried chicken benedict 😋 So delicious!! Friendly staff. Fast service. Fun breakfast spot!! Huge variety of fun tasty cocktails 🍸

I have to say that that service was impeccable, the ambiance was inviting & the food was fresh & delicious! I highly recommend it! And for my birthday, we were given free top shelf tequila shots!
Everything was really cool great family business. Felt more comfortable here than at chilis believe it or not. Actually treated us like people and we didn’t feel like outsiders, but customers. And this is regular service no magic nothing special no freebies! We were just treated the way people are supposed to be treated! Very rare to find here. ❤️

First impressions. Ownership/staff was very caring with food items on menu that were sub standard. That need work. As far as the name sake, the mimosas we had where above standard. It's a must! Experience. I will be returning first for the food/breakfast to see any improvements. And yes enjoy a quality mimosa.
So, the breakfast menu is huge. I had the southern scramble. It was good and very filling. The mimosas are also huge, no surprise there, and were also quite good. The staff was friendly and quick. I'm not a fan of the decor but I understand the expense in remodeling so I didn't count that aa negative. I did take off one star because the music was so loud it was almost impossible to have a conversation. The volume was more suitable for a nightclub than a restaurant. Even with the loud music it was a fun experience and a good tasting breakfast.
I actually really enjoyed this place. I had a smoked salmon skillet and a pomegranate mimosa. Everything was very tasty. The only thing I would give constructive criticism on is that the music and videos were great, but everything was in Spanish so maybe some guests might feel excluded.
The food was good and I had no trouble with service on Sunday or Monday. Poached eggs were overdone, but I got extra hollandaise, so I'll forgive.

Pretty mid food to be honest the atmosphere was fairly loud and noisy service wasn't something to write home about but it wasn't bad
First off their staff are super friendly and helpful. Their service is ok. Took forever to get our drinks. We were a party of 8 and had to eat inside. It is very dark inside. No natural light. This used to be a night club. The drinks are great. Half our party had Mimosa's and the rest of us had their bloody Mary's. They are pricey. The food was metso metso.
Fun little place to have breakfast or brunch. The service was great and we enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere. People have given their food 5s but it was definitely not a 5 I would say a 3. Honestly I would not go back for the food but the mimosas were bomb.
I went during a busy Sunday brunch and we were seated right away. When we left there was a big line to wait. Our order was taken pretty quickly but the food do take a while. The waiter wasn’t able to get in with us a lot. We got 2 skillets and a hamburger. The food was good and they were good portions. The mimosas were also really good. The atmosphere 3/10. The walls are painted a dark color, you can tell it’s a night club or something. Did not have that nice brunch atmosphere
Was excited to eat at this place and see their extra large drinks. Was expecting my $34 dollar bloody Mary to be loaded with the works like with bacon, celery and shrimp garnish. But was disappointed to get a super duper big bloody Mary with 4 olives and 2 lemons. Other than that, service was great, no wait and food was good.

Setting was nice, food was good. Servers were very nice. Not the cleanest restaurant and bathroom was not the greatest or clean. The toilet wouldn't flush and so I took the back off and seen it had no water in tank... Server forgot to pick up our tab/ card to pay. We finally went to the bar to pay but apparently only your server can check you out. She was busy in the kitchen so we had to wait longer to check out. But staff was super friendly. I probably will not go back.

Cute restaurant/club. Food was great and service was alright. My friends and I dined in the afternoon around 11am/12. One complaint is the insane prices ($13 amf cocktail and $18 shot?) I could have the wrong but a Quick Look at the menu and you’ll see all of the shots are $10+. My only other issue was the volume of the music and what they were playing. I couldnt even hear my friends speak and it made conversation difficult, we asked for it to be turned down and even then it was still eggregously loud. The type of music was Latin/spanish club music. Which is be fine with Latin/spanish music but not when it’s all sex songs and crude lyrics. We didn’t let it ruin our afternoon but we were excited to try this place as it was all of our first time dining here. I was disappointed. I’m sure it’s a decent nightclub at best but it’s a horrible spot for breakfast/lunch. Service was great and the food was good but prices were insane ($60 for a sandwich and two drinks that’s without tip) of course I tipped though as the service was good. Price and atmosphere need improving. Not sure what the owner and management are thinking here.
Went for breakfast with my wife. Food was ok, kinda flavorless. Loud music prevented my wife and from having a conversation without having to yell.
Honestly over the last year the service has gone down. Food is always bomb but customer service is severely lacking. As a Modesto local it’s kinda sad :(
Service is great. My meal was garbage. I got the bblt, which is meant to give extra bacon.. and half my sandwich had no bacon. On top of that it was chewy bacon in the middle. They wouldn’t split the sweet potatoes with regular fry’s… like I said, service was pleasant. But the meal was wack.
I'll start by saying the service was great. Super attentive and prompt. However the rest of the visit was very meh. We went for an early brunch, and at 10:00 they were blaring club music to the point where I could barely hear my wife across the table. I ordered the peach mimosa, and it was almost exclusively syrup. I had to wait for the ice to melt to get any kind of balance to the overwhelming amount of sugar. The fried chicken eggs Benedict are downright bad. The chicken was overcooked with the breading burnt, the biscuit was barely done and the decision to use scrambled rather than a poached egg is very strange. But worst of all was the lake of Hollandaise sauce that was added to the plate. I guess I underestimated what "smothered" meant on the menu. At the end of the day, I probably won't go back.

Takes forever for food to come out had to wait like 1 hr for my food to come out & it wasn’t busy .
We decided to try this place out since we had family visiting from out of town. We were very disappointed with everything over all. We waited a very long time to even get drinks until my cousin asked the waitress if they could get our drinks . My waffles were so dry and hard to swallow. Not to even mention everyone’s meal. Honestly I do not recommend this place at all.
The service was terrible. The manger was extremely rude when I explained that she had gotten my order wrong. Not only did she get my order wrong, but when she came back with the right plate it did not have any of the topping that it was supposed to have. The food was not good, it was cold and tasted as if it was old. Overall I would not recommend this place if you are trying to have a nice family brunch just as I had.
2/12/25 My party of 16 we arrived at 950am in the morning and no one was there. So we assumed the food and drinks would come out fast. 10am we all had order food and drinks including the super mimosa $50. The music is cool, but it's definitely way too loud. We had to ask the server to turn it down! They brought out food&drinks at the same time at 1115am. We asked if we could have our drinks, and the server Alyssa tall blonde hair lady seemed to be confused and a bit lost. Which is understandable for large groups, but communication is the key to being unconfused or lost. I ordered a smoke shrimp and crab omelet, and there were 2 TINY shrimps in there for $25. I was also upset because I waited 1.5 hours after we were done eating for our super mimosa. No WUENO! Last but not least, the server thought we were stupid or something because she tried to charge my party for 2 don Julio bottles for 1000. When we only ordered 2 shots, which is for $13. ALL IN ALL BECAREFUL THE RECIENT IS DIFFERENT FROM THEIR COMPUTER SCREEN OF TRANSACTION! DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDERS THEY TRY TO OVERCHARGE YOU ON THEIR COMPUTER TRANSACTION!!! FIRST & LAST TIME
No drinks to go that sucks payed 20$ for 3 strips of chicken and a waffle it’s just wasn’t worth the price and it’s over hyped. I hope they get better
