Killer - Came all the way from Northern Colorado to eat here. Great atmosphere, amazing wait staff. Pasta was al dente. Thanks so much. I'm a Team USA Olympian and if making pasta was an Olympic Event. Cacio e Pepe would win the Gold!

Ate here tonight’s with my wife and another couple. We all really enjoyed the “Chef’s Tasting” that is a six-course sampling of some awesome dishes the chef selects (but you can ask for something specific if there something you really want to try). We LOVED it all. Tried some new dishes never had before and I can’t wait to plan a return trip. And the wait staff, Veronica and Lupe were super friendly and provided excellent service. If you enjoy trying something new and want to explore something you likely haven’t had yet, give Cacio e Pepe a try. All around, Cacio e Pepe is now one of my top five restaurants.

i love cacio e pepe!! such a fun, authentic, warm space. the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. i had shown up with a large group one time and the owner gave us all prosecco just because we had to wait a bit. the food is incredible and you can tell only high quality ingredients are used. i’ve been back a couple times and will continue coming back. highly recommend!

Cacio e Pepe in Manhattan is one of those rare spots that feels instantly comforting from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate without trying too hard, and the staff treat you like a regular even on your first visit. The food is exactly what you hope for when you crave real Italian comfort—simple, high-quality ingredients prepared perfectly. Their signature cacio e pepe is unbelievably creamy with that perfect balance of pecorino and pepper, and you can tell they really care about every detail. The pasta is always cooked just right, and the flavors are bold without being heavy. What really stood out to me was the consistency: every dish we tried—from the appetizers to dessert—felt thoughtful, fresh, and genuinely delicious. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you slow down, savor, and enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a spot in Manhattan that feels both special and welcoming, this is absolutely it. A place you’ll want to come back to over and over again.

Amazing homemade pasta, tossed with black pepper in the cheese wheel in front of us. Great wine selection, and very nice staff. We sat in the window, but there is also a patio out back. Great bread with homemade tomato sauce.

Never in my LIFE have I ever tasted such an amazing and astoundingly delicious Cacio e Pepe! I was blown away by not only the food but the service. Our server Chedo was phenomenal and made my birthday celebration extra special. Chedo was kind enough to introduce us to the owner of the establishment Giusto who is nothing but a gentleman! Thank you so so much for an unforgettable night……& THE MEATBALLS! I am quite literally still dreaming about them. Best meatballs I’ve ever had. It as an 11/10 experience!

The wait staff was very attentive and the manager that day was extremely kind. The interior is very cute. I ordered the cacio e pepe and they made it in the big wheel of cheese. They made sure to scrape out every bit onto my plate so the pasta was very creamy and cheesey. I also got the white chocolate foam dessert with passion fruit and chocolate cookie powder on top. It came out in a dish that resembled a flower pot and was garnished with mint to resemble a little sprout which was absolutely adorable. I was unsure if those flavors would go together well but it was surprisingly good. Sweet and a bit tart. If you order it make sure to try to get all the layers when you eat it because the passion fruit is near the bottom.

the food was excellent! a super warm place to go and enjoy! The service was very good too! I recommend eating pasta in New York and getting out of the Time Square area and the ordinary! We will definitely return ❤️ I recommend the lasagna with bolognese sauce!

Wow wow wow!! This place was nice and cozy with amazing food! Definitely make a reservation as the wait is long. The manager was super friendly and the service was amazing. I ordered the pasta that comes inside a large cheese bowl that they melt cheese on the pasta before serving. What a fun experience. Come hungry you’ll clean your plate I promise!

We went here tonight for the first time and boy, did it deliver!!! We came here for the star of the show, the Cacio e Pepe spaghetti dish in the big wheel of cheese!!! The pasta was perfectly cooked, cheesy and peppery, as expected. We also ordered wine, an anitipasta and the Salmon. The Salmon was impressive!!! We did not come for that, but it was well worth it!!! It was perfectly cooked, not over or underdone and completed with a nice sauce that had a kick to it. The sides were also delicious- spinach and a creme brûlée styled cauliflower. I have never tried that before and it really stands out. I never imagined cauliflower being almost dessert like. The environment has an authentic feel to it. We felt like we were in a restaurant back in Rome. Brick walls, dim lighting, bottles of wine displayed. The place is comfy and cozy. We will definitely be back.

We had a great meal and good times here with friends. It's a cute place, the servers are very nice and the food is very tasty. Of course we had to order the cacio e pepe, prepared tableside and it was super! We also had the vongole linguini which was good but...the clams were a little large for our taste, and there weren't many. Still tasted good though. We also had a pasta dish with beet 'cream' I cannot remember the name of, but it was really good! Overall a fun experience.

This is a very cute restaurant and would be perfect for a date! The vibe is very pleasant and the staff and service were awesome. The food was just okay compared to other Italian in the city! I have no regrets about coming here but probably won't be back when there are other options to try

We had been wanting to go here for quite some time after having cacio e pepe in Rome. We got reservations before a show at the Orpheum down the street. The staff was excellent, the drinks were great. We were, however, chilly as the door situation was not ideal and let in blasts of cold air, we were freezing. We all got the cacio e pepe. Overall, we were disappointed because the pepe was chunky, whole peppercorns vs. fresh ground pepper (not an experience that my stomach loved either). I'm not sure why they serve it like this - I suggest sending some staff to Rome to get the real deal and learn the proper way to make it... The Lavazza coffee and the tiramisu were a lovely way to end the evening. If just rated on the cacio, we'd give a 3, but the rest of the food/staff/drinks brought it up to a 4.

We rented the back room for party and it was set up beautifully. We got a variety of “family style” appetizers and a choice between 4 entrees. The appetizers were probably my favorite part, but I wouldn’t call the portions shareable. For my main I got the Orecchiette and I feel like it still needed 2 minutes more to be considered Al dente. It looks like a really nice date night spot and others loved their dishes.

This place is small and cozy. The food is great, the show with cheese wheel was cool. I ordered: tonnarelli cacio e Pepe ( is a must) Lasagna alla bolognese (is so delicious). I celebrated my birthday here then we ordered the plant looking desert. Overall, it’s a decent place to enjoy for an evening with your couple, and they only take American Express or cash.

Wasn’t impressed by the food, felt slightly over priced. Very basic with a little lack of flavor. Was quite disappointed in the lobster ravioli but maybe my palate wasn’t refined for this type of Italian food? I think the service was fine, can’t blame I them for the food. The place is cute but I don’t think I have the interest to go back. Maybe for a last minute date night.

One spoon serving for $10 is insane. The food was like the ocean, salty. The only way I could tell it was Cacio e Pepe is the coarse bits of pepper other wise the flavor of black pepper is absent and salt is REALLY prevalent. The atmosphere was cute but too humid inside. Service was fine.

Would NOT recommend! Came here for Valentine's Day and the restaurant was so crowded and definitely overbooked. It took us 40 minutes to get our appetizer which was just bruschetta and an hour after that to get our entrees which were penne alla vodka and cacio e pepe. My cacio e pepe was cold and mid. Service was bad and food was mid. I wouldn't come here to celebrate Valentine's Day or any special occasion ever again.
