Gomi New York Reviews
Great food, cool vibes, extensive wine list. Be sure to ask Rafa for a recommendation.
Excellent spot with delicious wine selections and solid food to pair. Perfect spot for an elevated casual hang. Thank you, we'll be back!
I've walked by this place so many times and have never had the chance to check it out. I came here for happy hour on a Friday with a couple of friends and enjoyed the plates and a bottle of wine. It's a good casual spot to catch up with friends. The food menu looks very interesting so I'll need to come back to have more of the dishes!
A very kind owner, he takes great pride in his work. He recommended a few wines to try which were excellent. All of the food we tried were delicious as well. We will definitely be back.
This place is an absolute gem, especially during happy hour! The wine selection is delightful, and the appetizers are absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend introduced me to this wine bar and eatery. The owner, Rafael, aka Rafa, makes you feel very welcome. Which is great all on its own. However, the food offerings are wonderful top! You can select some Korean dishes, Brazilian dishes, or a mixture of both cusines! Pão de queijo is one of our faves! Oh, and did I forget to mention that the owner is quite wine expert. Just tell him what type of libation you have in mind. Even giving him minor details, he will surely select a wine that is satisfying to your taste buds.
This place is a real gem! 💎 I love the cozy atmosphere, the super friendly staff, and their exceptional wine selection. The food is amazing too - I love how it captures the true essence of Korean and Brazilian cuisine without any fusion gimmicks. My go-to menus are pao de queijo, katsu, kimchi fried rice, pork belly ssam, and picanha fatiada🤤🤍
A cool neighborhood gem for delicious international tapas and a well curated and affordable wine list. The service was fantastic. My friends and I felt like we were at home. We had Korean and Brazilian tapas that were delicious and nicely presented. My Brazilian friend loved the Brazilian coxinhas!!! The tasty Portuguese white wine reminded us of Portugal. Gomi rocks!!!
This place is awesome! They don't take reservations so we walked in on a Saturday at around 6pm and the place was about 1/4 full. My party of 2 was able to be seated right away. The place is dark and cozy without feeling too crowded. The large wine selection was on great display. I really liked the vibe! They have HH from 5-7 from Tuesday through Sunday I believe. The HH deals are pretty decent! They had a special wine that was $7/glass. I really liked it actually! We also got the wings from the HH menu in the soy garlic flavor and they were great. We got the corn cheese as well which was good but nothing spectacular. We also wanted to get a glass of wine and couldn't choose between 2 and they were very kind enough to let us taste both of them. We got the kimchi fried rice and the soft tofu soup. Both were really REALLY good. I'm Korean and was impressed by the soup. The owner and wait staff were all so friendly and kind to us. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go again!
I love this place 🫶 ! This place offers wines that are carefully selected by a Korean owner who grew up in Brazil. The owner is so helpful and kind - he gave us such amazing recommendations and is so down to chat up with you. Amazing selection of wines and small plates too. I would love to return!
This place is a wonderful wine bar 🍷 and restaurant! 🍴 Gomi Korean Wine Bar has a fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages 🥃, cocktail 🍸, wine 🍷, and draft beer. 🍺 Their food is great too! Definitely get the Broccolini (sauteed broccoli 🥦) and Cheese 🧀 Bread 🍞 - it's absolutely delicious! 🤤 Staff 👨🍳 is super friendly and welcoming, service is quick ⏲️, and ambience 🎶 is fantastic! I wish I knew about this place earlier!
We wandered all over the area to find somewhere to eat that wasn’t about to close and were so lucky to stumble upon this place! Amazing vegetable dishes, Brazilian cheese bread made fresh, and dumplings with great tasting Portuguese wine and a Portuguese creamy dessert liquor that was so amazing. The chili sauce was also delicious and very friendly and helpful staff. Can’t say enough good things so glad we came in! Would love to come back to try other dishes and wines.
Very welcoming staff, serving enjoyable and inspired blend of Korean, BBQ, and even Japanese. Rafael and his wife are a warm presence in this pleasant restaurant, coming out to ensure guests are satisfied.
Small quaint bar that serves a selection of Brazilian/Korean inspired dishes. Decent selection of white and a small but good selection of beer. Happy Hour specials are really good. I recommend the gyoza dumplings if you want to try an appetizer. They also have cheese platters, Brazilian fried meatballs among other dishes.
