Delage Oakland Reviews
Loved this place! My boyfriend and I got take out - the brussels sprouts, the starters sampler, the krapow gai, and the pla pao bai tong. Everything had punchy, bright flavors and tasted amazing. Probably among the top 5 -- maybe even top 3 -- Thai places I've ever eaten at, alongside some favorites in NYC and DC. The person who handled our order was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Next time we'll go back to dine in person there, and I can't wait to try their other dishes. Highly recommend!
Had a great takeout experience at Attraros! The staff was helpful and made great recommendations. Everything we tried was unique in its own way, and full of flavor. My favorite was the Krapow Gai, which was spicy and fresh, with subtle Thai flavors layered underneath. We'll definitely be coming back!
Great little place in Oakland. I would recommend you go and try it. The food was delicious, the presentation was top notch and I would definitely go back. Excited to go try the Lamb Shank Curry!
This was an absolute gem of a place, the complexity of the flavors was exquisite. The owners were attentive and kind. It was a beautiful experience! I love this establishment and I highly recommend it to all! Simply amazing!🔥
I'm Thai and I love the food and service here. There are some unique Thai dishes that I like. Hopefully they have more options of unique Thai street food dishes in the future.
TLDR: Great and unique food, and brand new! Found this place randomly on the day they opened (last week). The food was delicious. Had some tapioca dumplings (Sakoo Sai Moo) that were different from any dumplings I had ever had, but really good! The Krapow Gai (chicken) was awesome! Spicy and flavorful. The service was really good, with suggestions for gringos like me. Beer was a limited selection (they JUST opened that day), but I thoroughly enjoyed the Beer Lao Dark. I would totally go back.
I knew this place was going to be good when I walked in and saw a cook pounding aromatics with a huge mortar and pestle. This is labor-intensive food with incredibly deep flavor, so it’s not the fastest or cheapest. But it is the best Thai food I’ve ever had! The kang kari gai (yellow chicken curry) really blew every other one I’ve tried out of the water. Also loved the kang gai (lamb shank in massamun curry) and sakoo sai moo (tapioca pork balls). Highly recommend!!
The dishes here were delicious. Went with a group of friends and we all loved our food and drinks. Everything was very fresh.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! I travel all over the US. Next level!
One of the best meals I’ve had in 2025, ahead of several Michelin starred restaurants. Seriously, it’s that good.
Great addition to the downtown Oakland food scene! Creative menu and very flavoursome! Super friendly and warm interior. Cocktails are great too! Will be back for sure!
If you want phenomenal Thai food that goes beyond the staples you're familiar with, this is the spot. Get the sakoo sai moo. Everything is clearly crafted with care, flavor, and balance in mind. A top Thai restaurant in Oakland.
The app sampler is one of our favorite things we have eaten in the bay. Incredible drinks, the service is great, will come back here again and again.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! Service was excellent and I liked the houseplants all around the dining room. Edit: still thinking about that Kanom Jeen Nam Ngiew over a month later 🤤
Loved the food!! Delicious, fresh and excellent flavor. Service was great and they were helpful ordering with allergies
As a Thai person who grew up in Thailand, this is a must-visit Thai spot with a lot of dishes not usually found at Thai restaurants. We ordered two starters, two cocktails, a somtum, the fish entree, extra rice and a dessert — all super tasty. The sakoo sai moo and the Miung kum (pictured) I would highly recommend. Will definitely go back to try some other dishes. The place is casual, cute, and clean with lots of plants and Thai touches. The staff are so sweet and attentive. Check them out!
Really tasty and inventive. Loved the yum pla muk..think that was my fave. Choo chee was also delicious though the baseline is a bit sweet. But don’t worry - I asked for a side of chilies and it was perfect! More people need to come here! It’s real cute inside but atmosphere was a bit lacking since it was so empty!
Family run business. Delicious food- try the appetizer sampler! On the pricier side, but food is comparable or better than farmhouse Thai. I keep this spot in mind for when I have guests and I want to make Oakland look good.
Best Thai I have had in a long time. Came here with family after graduation and saw this place was nearby and had a 4.9 rating so we had to try it. And it definitely was worthy of that 4.9….. I would say a strong 5. Whenever I am in Oakland I will definitely be stopping by here. Thanks for the great service!!!!
Had a great lunch here with coworkers during the workday. The Khao Soi was incredible! Definitely coming back.
Holy cow so so so delicious! We had pad see ew, green curry, papaya salad, fried chicken, roti, mango sticky rice, and the passion fruit margarita. Everything we got was 10/10 so fresh and delicious. The interior is beautiful and nice chill ambiance with good music. Do not sleep on this Oakland gem. Can’t wait until I get to go back and try more!
First ever restaurant review but feel obliged to do my part in helping this phenomenal downtown Oakland restaurant thrive after so many great ones have come and gone. Attraros caught my attention before it even opened with its beautiful and unique aesthetics during renovations (5/5 atmosphere). I had it bookmarked mentally but regrettably did not get a chance to try it until tonight. We ordered takeout online and they immediately called with sincere apologies that one of the items is not available and offered a couple suggestions for replacement. Food was prepared quickly and I was greeted with a welcome that made me feel like I was in for a treat (5/5 takeout service). The Sakoo Sai Moo was probably one of the best presented takeout dish I've ever seen (no food pics unfortunately since the inspiration for a review only arrived after full belly). Tapioca texture was on point and sweet/spicy flavors on FULL blast. It's strange to say this, but the dish may benefit from lower filling ratio. Krapow Gai was the replacement dish. Flavors on point but was a little oily/soggy that's most likely due to sitting in a box for 45 minutes. Some of the chicken chunks were a little big and a more consistent mince could further accentuate the flavors. Pad Thai had two monstrous tiger prawns (FYI, doordash checkout on Google doesn't give the option to select the regular shrimp or tofu option) that achieved a perfect cook for both the head goo and body meat. Impressive. Noodles had great firm texture, even after sitting in a box for 45 minutes. Overall, all 3 dishes had amazing flavors (5/5 takeout food standards) Was going to come back tomorrow for dine in but too bad closed on Sundays... until next time! For now, one more unsolicited advice - I think the menu could benefit from a short descriptive English name for each dish. Many prospective diners may be quick to skip the descriptions after seeing something they don't recognize at all. It will also be easier to remember and recommend dishes to friends or to read out to demanding husbands who are driving. Looking back at an older menu asthetic - something consistent with the headers could work: Kin-len : snacks Sakoo Sai Moo : pork tapioca balls
Really loved my visit to Attraros! Came in for a weekday meal since I was staying nearby at the Marriott on work travel. The restaurant sits tucked in a fun little area and was easy to find. The atmosphere is quaint and pleasant. The restaurant is well designed with nice green and yellow accent and strong branding. I was quickly seated and the service across the board was great. The food is what really shines and I wish I could have gone back because there were so many things I wanted to try. They had all the standards for Thai food but then also had a diverse set of special dishes that I have seen few other places. They all sounded delicious but given I was by myself wound up going for the Khao Soi. It was a hit and a ton of food with rich flavors and tasty noodles. Really really good and came out pretty quickly. Overall a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to go back if folks are nearby.
We booked this for my friend's birthday dinner and it was lovely! Everything was delicious and the service was great, they even brought her a dessert with a candle. Very warm staff and amazing food. The atmosphere was intimate but we had no problem booking a large party. Couldn't recommend more.
Delicious! Great service! I am so thankful that Attraros made samplers and pretty photos for us to pick. Been to Thailand several times and still don't know how to choose the most authentic Thai food from the menu. The experience dine in Attraros was fun. And it's inexpensive. Love the $12 dollars cocktail even though there's only 3 choices, but it's delicious. Might need 2 to feel tipsy. Love it!!!♥️♥️♥️
I came here with a group of 9 people on a saturday evening and we were seated immediately. We started with some happy hour cocktails and some apps and soup - the mushroom app was incredible, the tom yum soup was good. The entres were also good - I think if I came back I'd rather grab lunch instead of dinner if that makes any sense.
Great food and great service. I paid $30 for a pad krapow and a side of steamed veggies after a $5 tip. Portion size was larger compared to other thai restaurants. Others usually charge extra for a fried egg too
After spending the morning at the Old Oakland Farmer’s Market, we decided to have lunch at the Old Swan’s Market, a place my late grandma brought us when we were kids, though it was a meat and veggie markets in the early 90s. We decided to tried Attraros Thai Eatery, which is such a hidden gem! If you love Thai food, as much as I do, then y’all got to check out them out! The food was amazing!! Prefect place for date night, birthdays or simply a delicious meal. The Starters Sampler Salads is a MUST order! Flavor bombs!! So good! It comes with (2) Miung Kum, (2) Moo Salong, (2) Ma Hor, (2) Sakoo Sai Moo! The Tom Yum Goong Nam Khon was easily our favorite Tom yum soup in the Bay! The Choo-Choo Goong and Sam Chun Tod was also our favorite dishes. The Kanom Jean Nam Ngiew is such a beautiful Northern Thai fresh noodle soup; while Pla Pao Bai Tong was so tasty, perfect for any fish lovers. Last but not least, don’t forget their refreshing drinks- we got their delicious Thai Iced Coffee and Beautiful Mao Dok Mai- Sabé vodka sake, butterfly pea flower, lime & sugar! So pretty!!
Amazing food and a bit upscale atmosphere. Perfect for a date with a special someone. We got the recommended krawpow gai (ground chicken and rice) we also got the appetizer calamari which came with a sweet sauce
delicious local thai eatery. they seem to specialize more of the northern thai cuisine, which is not typical of most thai restaurants.
Every dish I tried at Attraros restaurant was delicious ,especially the ribs Panang ,Pad Seew and Saku Sai Moo.The cozy atmosphere made me feel like in Thailand.A must-try for Thai food lovers !
Love this spot. Gai Prik Khing is outstanding; it's all good. Service is SO friendly and fast.
I lived in Thailand for 9 years and got my fix today on Pad Krapao Moo. (Pork) Definitely a place I will be back to.
The krapow gai (stir fried ground chicken with grean beans) is consistently tender and delicious. Absolutely have to get it every time we come; I haven't had it as good anywhere in the Bay Area yet as most places overcook it. Crispy chicken, steamed fish, and crispy pork belly are really good too. Service is very nice but can be a tad slow at times. Food is pretty timely even when busy. Cute space; only downside is that you have to go to the bathrooms in Swan's Market which is a bit inconvenient when mobility is an issue but can't be helped.
The Sam Chun Tod (fried pork belly) was excellent and flavorful, while having a good crisp and juicy inside

What a gem of a place! My Pad Thai lunch special was delicious and beautifully presented. Love the service and ambiance. Highly recommend!
Obscenely good and incomprehensibly not packed. Go here and order everything! I am a Thai food snob. Absurdly polished presentation, ultra-fresh and just dialed in.
Came here for lunch at Noon on a Thursday. Parking was easy metered, and restaurant was half full. Wonderful service and nice decor. Very authentic Thai dishes with beautiful presentation. My favorite was the mixed appetizer plate.... Some of the bites were a party in my mouth!! The jumbo prawn pad Thai was just OK, as all the ingredients were fresh and cooked well, but the overall dish was lacking flavor, thus the 4/5 rating. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.
Last Friday evening at 6:30 PM, we decided to explore Attraros Thai Eatery, intrigued by its reputation and our love for Thai cuisine. To our surprise, the restaurant welcomed us with a calm and inviting atmosphere, a pleasant contrast to the usual weekend hustle. The interior of Attraros strikes a perfect chord between modern elegance and a welcoming vibe. Its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic not only elevated the dining experience but also reflected the thoughtful presentation of each dish. One of the first delights of the evening was the mango cream soda—a choice I’d make time and again. This beverage masterfully combines the lush sweetness of mango with the silky texture of cream, finished with a gentle fizz. It stood out as not just a drink, but an experience, making it a must-try recommendation for anyone visiting. For our mains, we chose the chicken curry rice and the fried pork belly. The chicken curry was a clear winner for me. It was a harmony of flavors, with the curry itself rich and aromatic, perfectly complementing the tender chicken. The fried broccoli served alongside was a brilliant touch, adding a delightful crunch that my girlfriend especially appreciated. On the other hand, the fried pork belly, though adequately prepared, didn’t quite capture our imaginations in the same way. It was satisfactory but lacked the distinctive flair that the curry so effortlessly offered. Reflecting on the experience, Attraros Thai Eatery left a lasting impression. Its blend of modern charm, impeccable cleanliness, and a standout culinary offering makes it a venue I’m eager to return to. The mango cream soda and chicken curry were highlights that underscored the restaurant’s ability to blend traditional flavors with creative twists. I look forward to my next visit, keen to discover what other culinary delights await on their menu.
We ordered starter sampler, grilled octopus and Nuer Yang (ribeye steak). Starter sampler is amazingly tasty with unexpected flavors. Grilled octopus is chewy and juicy. Ribeye steak is what I don’t like at all. The steak is bland, as well as the egg noodle. Service is quite slow, but ambience is nice
Food was generally good. Will come back here again to see how they evolve. Could use some work on ratios/presentation/availability. The Kang Gae (lamb shank mussaman) was delicious but came with a comically small portion of roti. Had to get most of it to go. Best thing I had was Sakoo sai moo (tapioca balls with pork). Delicious!

My girlfriend and I went to Attraros Thai Eatery during Oakland restaurant week. For restaurant week, they had a 3 course menu for $40 pp (+ $5 surcharge on some entrees). The restaurant was empty when we got there around 7 pm, but it got busy within the next half an hour. Attraros Thai Eatery offered a mixed bag. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was decent but the service was really slow. Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive, which put a damper on the experience. Our restaurant week menu started with starter sampler, which included miang kum, sakoo sai moo, mo hor, moo salong, and toong thong. The starter sampler was a mix of sweet and savory items, and they were all pretty good. For the main courses, the hoi prik pao (scallops with chilies) was flavorful, but the roasted chili paste was surprisingly sweet. It was not what we were expecting. The Thai marinated pork chop was a bit dry. The accompanying nam jim jeaw sauce helped, but it couldn't quite salvage the dryness. The thai iced tea was a disappointment. It was watered down and lacked the robust tea flavor and creamy sweetness that one would expect. The star of the show was definitely the mango mousse cake. Luscious mango flavor with a perfect balance of sweet and tart, it was a delightful ending to the meal. Overall, Attraros has potential. The food has its moments, and the ambiance is nice. But the slow service and underwhelming drinks bring the experience down to a 3-star rating.

Got the tom yum and there were three small flies in it, so we sent it back. The krapow gai we got was good and bug free. Service was a bit slow as it seems like they were short staffed
Love Thai food and Attraros was highly recommended so finally gave it a try today. I ordered chicken skewers and the roti with curry since I needed something quick and light, figured that would be a safe choice. I got a call saying they were out of chicken skewers, they replaced it with beef. I never received any notification after that stating the order was ready so I sat outside waiting for 10 minutes. Realized I wasn’t going to hear from them about the order so decided to walk in. Went in and there were no customers, just staff behind the counter, my food had been sitting there. Staff was friendly without question. Got home and was incredibly disappointed. The roti is drenched in oil… you just get a mouthful of oil. I had just two small and way overcooked, dry beef skewers, the rest of the box was filled with salad. Extremely disappointed because this was a recommendation and is highly rated. Not sure what happened tonight but doubt I’ll be trying here again since the smallest order was horrible.
