Tacos Guadalajara Oakland Reviews
Best burritos when Oakland hands down and I'm standing on that with 10 toes down
Went for a late night meal on a weekday. Hours are perfect, food was great quality. The super burrito size was huge!!! I definitely recommend. This is definitely my new go to for Mexican food.
huge delicious steak and egg breakfast burrito 9$ muy rico
Best Tortas ever!! Only for $14! While others charge $15-$16.
I’ve been eating here for 20 years and I’m still not bored. That should tell you everything. The tacos are dangerous — once you start, you’ll plan your week around them. Worth every peso
The flavors were bold and well balanced. The dishes were prepared with care. I had a lovely time.
One of my fave taco trucks-everything is phenomenal! Salsa verde is where it’s At, and their pickled jalapenos and carrots are SO SO good! Taco Salad is HUGE, so if you are 1 person who is not absolutely starving, don’t get it! Nachos are also HUGE, and last multiple meals-get sour cream and guac on side, if not 2 people.
Food is always good, they have been in the neighborhood for years. I would consider it one of the best spots in oakland for Mexican food.
Best taco truck to me in Oakland. Always smacking lol. I want something right now. 😁
I am vegetarian tried on my husband's request- loved veggie burritto, quesdilla, fries and sauces. I never had that flavorful Mexican food. First time trying - this truck food and I loved it.100% recommend.
Ah, the setting changes but the essence remains. Tacos Guadalajara isn't a brick-and-mortar restaurant; it's a taco truck. But what it lacks in tables and chairs, it more than makes up for in atmosphere and mouthwatering fare. Picture this: you pull up to the taco truck, parked strategically amidst the hubbub of International Boulevard in Oakland. A queue of eager patrons waits their turn, socializing and nodding along to the music playing from car radios. Some have made this visit a part of their daily routine, while others are first-timers lured by the truck's growing reputation. The aroma hits you first, a tantalizing blend of grilled meats, zesty citrus, and earthy spices. Even before you see the menu, you're already imagining the taste of tender carne asada, the kick of fresh salsa, and the comforting embrace of a warm tortilla. When it's your turn to order, the interaction is quick but warm. The owners, who also run the esteemed Guadalajara Restaurant, have perfected the art of speedy yet quality service. You place your order and in mere moments, you're handed a plate so artfully arranged it could rival any five-star establishment. You retreat to your car, the lack of traditional seating hardly a concern now that you're so close to diving into your meal. The first bite is euphoria, an exquisite dance of flavors and textures that belies the dish's humble presentation. It's simple, yet perfect—authentic Mexican cuisine at its finest. Each morsel feels like a tribute to culinary traditions honed over generations, delivered from the bustling heart of Oakland straight to your taste buds. The experience is deeply personal, as though each taco, each burrito, each plate of nachos was crafted just for you. You savor the final bites, already eager for the next opportunity to revisit this mobile gastronomic haven. You may have eaten in your car, but you leave feeling as fulfilled as if you'd dined in the finest restaurant. And so, Tacos Guadalajara remains an unmissable spot on International Boulevard—a taco truck in form, but a culinary institution in spirit.
Salsa on the side was wack. Burrito was dank. They threw in green onions and those delighted my tongue. The picked jalapeños tickles my jalapeños. And lastly, the one singular of radish cooled my palate. Enjoy a delicious burrito. There was a truck nearby that was blasting music from the truck nearby. This reduced the atmosphere score. I prefer mariachi or something similar to that but the music was just too loud and I couldn’t hear anything else so I was like a little bit annoyed. 7.5/10
Ordered Tacos pollo and carnitas for take out. Good flavor of meats on two corn tortillas for each taco. Red and green Salsa & pickled vegetables provided. Quick service for take out. Enter a small parking lot off of 44th. This Tacos Guadalajara truck is located near High St on International Blvd.
I gave a 2 star because this truck is hit or miss. Tasty food but every time I order here I never get what I actually order. Today I ordered a steak burrito with everything, light beans. What I got was a steak and rice burrito with light cheese, cilantro, and onions. I would've just bought a taco if I knew I was getting this. 14 bucks for a dry and tasteless burrito.
The taco truck and the area around are great with new benches to seat, new lamps that give lots of light, parking lot. But the main thing suppose to be the food, I ask for 2 beef tongue tacos, 2 more of cabeza and a soda, the first ones were good, but the cabeza were horrible, I don't think they were made of cabeza, because I had been eating those tacos all my life.
Rushed my food I told them very light sour cream due to everytime I order I say light sour cream and they still don’t listen the whole taco is covered in sour cream can’t even taste anything waste of money waste of time
The food ain't good stop the lying overpriced and barely put any meat in it
