I’ve only ever used the drive-thru, and most experiences have been decent. On occasion, however, an item in my order is made incorrectly, poorly, or missing entirely, and/or the wait time is an eternity.
The cleanliness here is unacceptable. There was food and trash all over the floors, the tables hadn’t been wiped down, and the bathrooms were absolutely filthy. That said, the Mexican pizza was surprisingly the best I’ve ever had—which makes the poor conditions even more disappointing.
They left the man at register on hi own first time on register but he did very well even not knowing what he was doing but we waiting over 20 minutes when people where coming in after us and getting there food before us ....so we went to counter and come to find out they swiped our order so it left screen....so we did finally got our food ...they didn't give us coupons to try and say sorry ....but they need to have trainees with someone who knows what there doing before having them go solo .....because we heard half the staff was trainees......So at least we understand now it's not always like this
Alright I’m updating this review because guess what I gave this Taco Bell another chance I ordered online and checked in at the drive thru. My order was missing the verse sauces I paid extra for. The chicken chalupas had barely any chicken in it. One didn’t even have a full bite of chicken in it. Food was cold Crunchy tacos were pre made and soggy I will never give this place another chance. Save your money and avoid this Taco Bell Not to mention the rude drive through attendant. Quit putting people in the drive through that don’t have people person skills. You’re hurting your business more than you know.
Walk in is closed due to no hill and the wait for drive thru is 20 minutes plus for your order.
I stopped by for breakfast and was rather disappointed. I arrived to the drive-thru speaker at 7: 10a. I said hello twice and heard nothing. I drove around the building and saw people inside. I went back to the drive-thru. I was informed via the speaker that they were running a few minutes late. I started to order my breakfast when I was immediately informed that they were stopping breakfast soon. When I asked for clarification for this store or all stores the female clerk immediately snapped at me and said " what do I know??" Cuz I drove to the window. The amount of debris all over the ground was uninviting. The same clerk quickly open the window with attitude and could tell she was absolutely miserable. My breakfast burrito was decent but could tell it was put together sloppy. When I got to my destination, I realized they gave me no napkins or a straw for my iced coffee. This location could do better
The wait times are incredibly long lately. Some staff seem totally inexperienced. I don’t think I can order from this taco bell anymore.
The food is good but placed an order on app. Got to store 15 mins later and still waited over a half hr to get food. While 2 works just stood at the register talking to each other. 3 months later and had only gotten worse 1 hr wait now. You should definitely figure something out because this is ridiculous
Clearly the owners simply don't care. The parking lot is in shambles. At some point people will be suing them for damage to cars with the MASSIVE potholes everywhere. How hard is it to hire some guys to at least fill them in? Yikes
The line for the drive-thru it's always so busy it's ridiculous. There's not one time during the day that it's not ridiculously busy to the point where it's almost not even worth going there, especially when you have to spend 20 to 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru line just to get your food.
I waited in the drive-through for 25 minutes to get to the window for the Employee to be very rude and have an attitude. I got to the drive-through got my food money and receipt and went to remind the Employee that I also had a beverage. In response, I got a nasty attitude. Team members should remain professional And not take out their frustrations or whatever’s going on in their personal life on customers. next time I will park my vehicle in the drive-through , blocked the drive-through until I speak to a manager. The employee name on the receipt is Danielle S. she’s a short woman , red hair and overly heavyset with glasses
Every single time I come to the drive through at night the have one or multiple of these issues. 1) incredibly long wait time 20+ minutes 2) very rude staff 3) food made wrong or incomplete 4) forgotten items 5) items out of stock almost daily It's by far the worst restaurant in oneonta. It's a shame because some of the food items are tasty but you're either going to get the wrong food, a rude employee, a missing drink or taco, no beef for a protein because they refused to prep more, an unbearable wait time or some other issue.
This is the worst Taco Bell in the area. The wait is 45 minutes to an hour IF you are lucky. The staff is rude and ignorant. They feel the drive thru orders come first and kiosk orders second. If you order off the mobile app…forget it. They DO NOT care about you and you will wait all day long unless you get mad and ask for a manager.
Opens at 7 am for breakfast. Got there at 9:30am, waited at least 10minutes in drive thru. No sign, no one on drive the speaker. Proceeded to park and go in. Started order on a kiosk. 3-5mins later, someone comes up front and says we can’t take orders right now. I asked why and they said they had no food ready. And I advised they should put a sign on the drive thru or something because line of cars out there. The worker apologized and said they have to do what the manager says. Irritated beyond belief with the amount of time I waited. They also took to long to make my order a week or so ago so they asked me to back up to stop the window timer. I had to do it if I wanted hash browns for my kids. So I did LOL. A joke!

Always screwing up orders. Rude and slow staff. The epitome of trash and has been that way for YEARS. Franchise owner is in Syracuse and won't do anything to fix this hell hole. Can't wait for their empty response.
This place is absolutely pathetic. How can you call yourself fast food and take a half hour to have your food ready. Every single time I’ve been here for the past month it has been the longest wait for fast food I’ve ever experienced. I do not recommend coming here. They obviously cannot handle it.
I want to give this place a 0 but I can’t… My husband and I went tonight and we ordered their lovely cinnamon Delites which are absolutely amazing and is really the only reason why we go to Taco Bell instead of the other Mexican/American restaurants in the area. We started to drive towards the window when the kid said never mind we don’t have the cinabun. The staff was nothing but rude, acted like they didn’t want to be there and even went as far as mocking us for the way i pronounced some words… I even heard some staff laugh threw the drive threw speaker once he said that they didn’t have any… Well I messaged one of my friends who works there n she told me that “they did in fact have them they just turned off the fryer and didn’t feel like making them”. Now I don’t know about anybody else but if you get paid to do a job then why in the world would you turn off the equipment 2 hours before you close to do the required job…. Just plain shameful and laziness. Needless to say my husband and I were very disappointed and will most likely not continue to come to this location… most times they mess up the orders or they just slob the food together anyways I must say this location has gone down hill in the past couple months in my opinion. I’ll stick to my gut next time. Thanks a lot Taco Bell.
I hate leaving bad reviews but as soon as I went on and saw people say the same I thought it should be said again. I waited for an hour last night to get my mobile drive thru order. You should not be open if it's going to take that long for a fast food place
By far the worst taco bell you can go to, they get " overwhelmed" by orders by doordash and will tell you a wait time to deture you away. I've been here many times as a local. But no more. They won't answer the phone to give information nor will be honest with you. Sad. No wonder they are looking for new managers, morning help and,closing help. What else more needs to be said. It's oneonta not NYC. Pathetic
I agree with the reviewers that have been saying the wait time can be up to 20 minutes which is ridiculous imagine if this Taco Bell wasn't in Oneonta? 😂 Food was good atleast but the staffing issue is insane. Hope you guys figure it out and no one innocent gets fired. Goodluck!
09/03/2025 — aprox. 11:10 AM I have to make a statement about the absolute abysmal and belittling service by the older lady working there. This was absolutely unacceptable.
If I could leave zero I would. Showed up and ordered food was told that it would be 20 minutes waited close to 30 and nothing ever moved in the drive-thru line. I don't know how fast food places stay in business when I literally can go sit down at Texas steakhouse pay around the same amount and have the food faster. Terrible
Taco Bell claims to be open until 2 AM, but good luck trying to get anything if you come by at night. Every time I’ve tried, I’ve been met with, “We’re open, but it will be a 30+ minute wait.” If you can’t actually serve customers, then don’t pretend to be open. This kind of service is frustrating and unprofessional, and it’s clear most customers are being scared off by the ridiculous wait times. It almost feels like a strategy to avoid working, which is just bad business. If you’re going to be open late, at least have the staff and commitment to back it up.
This is currently the worst taco bell I've ever been 2. I waited over 20 minutes for 2 bean burritos and 1 taco. There were barley any cars in drive through. The food came out cold and the employees looked like they were out to lunch. It never used to be like this

Ridiculous wait times for sub-par taco bell. Of there was another location in 50 miles, this place would shut down. Only place I've seen a drive through sit motionless for 45 minutes straight. No orders, no food, nothing. The lobby wasn't even open. Just drive through, not doing shit.

don’t even waste your time ordering past 930 pm on doordash. your order will take at least an hour because they lock the doors, make you wait in the obnoxious drive through line while I can see the order sitting thru the window. So ridiculous and employees made us wait outside the drive thru window while the clueless girl was repeatedly filling up and dumping out drinks and taking her sweet time. Like i understand the rush but the carelessness for costumers is crazy. not everyone has an hour to wait at a drive thru.
Bad Experience at oneonta Taco Bell me and my mom pulled up to the drive though and there was something wrong with the screen/menu and my mom told the worker something was wrong with the screen with no response then a women came on and said “taco what’s your order” so my mom not thinking she heard her reply do you know your screen is broken she said very rude and loud “Yes I heard you the first time you don’t need to repeat yourself” then my mom said excuse me and she reply “you heard me” so I told her I’m calling corporate because I never had someone been so rude to me at a fast food restaurant as long as this women works here I’ll never go to this Taco Bell again. And just a last fact this ain’t the first time she was rude to my mom just the rudest. And this women refused to give me her name so I took a photo.
pulled in to the drive through line, about 12 cars pulled in behind me, no movement of the line no voice from the speaker. hear a voice on the speaker after 20 minute radio silence, the update from the window causes the car in front of me to leave the line and drive away, finally get to the speaker/menu after 25 minutes of waiting to be told there’s no beef. i asked the manager why no one was answering their phone for the past 25 minutes and she said “probably because it’s in the office and no one’s in there.” i feel bad for the cars in front of me, god knows how long they were in line, and the 12 cars behind me who were waiting a long time for disappointing news. Noticed several seemingly high school aged employees leaving the locked restaurant during my time in line with large bags full of food to hand off to their rides. wild scene at the oneonta taco bell!

I don't drive and live 20mins away from this restaurant. I went in ordered and paid. Firstly, when my order was "ready" no one called out my name or order number to let me know it was mine and ready. The bag was sealed with stickers and I was in a rush so after I investigated and realized it was my order I grabbed it and left. Get home and go to dig in and found out they didn't fill my entire order. Two items were missing that totaled just under 7$. I tried calling the store and no one answered. Very very upset.
Where do I begin. I crave the Bell, and hope things are better every visit. But it rarely is.
Took them an hour to make my food I ended up leaving. I got a stacker, that's it, it should never take that long at any fast food restaurant to get one item. Figure your stuff out Taco Bell because there have been insane wait issues recently
Every time I come in here nothing is organized and I always wait minimum 30 minutes for food. If you plan to eat here do not mobile order so you can at least leave and save your money.
We had got there around 7:15, ordered the 3 grilled cheese burritos, a cantina burrito, and a cheesy roll-up. I watched as all other orders got out. 20 minutes goes by, but still no food. And maybe 3 or 4 of the staff have disappeared. The one girl ended up making almost all the food while training. When the rest of the crew wandered back, they were moving at a snail pace and looking like chickens with their heads cut off. After around 45 min and everyone else left, I finally got my food. As the trainee was handing me my food, he dropped it on the counter in front of me as I was going to take it, instead of handing it to me. I have never been this mad at any place before. Just the blatant disrespect I was shown makes me hope that it gets closed sooner.

We arrived at 2:00 and ordered at their kiosk…. There was no one at the register. We are currently still waiting for food… 40 minutes later. People have gone through the drive thru- others have come and gone for take out. I don’t know what the system for waiting on customers is, but it isn’t good. We rarely come here and now I know why. We won’t be back.
I have never been the type to write a review but I am speechless. I waited 40 minutes for two items. Employees were laughing and having a grandeur of a time while I waited inside, with a piling drive-through line. I had to ask twice for any clue as to when I’d be getting my food, and only 10 minutes after I rehanded them my receipt was I given food that was lukewarm. Disgusting area behind the kitchen for every public eye to see. This is not the place to go if you have any allergies whatsoever as each thing was touching each other, food thrown all over the floor and counters. Not to mention once an employee was told he could take his break, he walked away from a half made taco, leaving the other chef to be confused on what it’s continents were, and was thrown away. I know code violations and awful customer service when I see it.
I’ve shared a couple reviews for this place but this is my worst experience so far, The Older woman at the window is always very disrespectful with taking your order and is even disrespectful to customers inside the building while she helps you at the window mentioning their political beliefs because in this current situation the older man in the store didn’t want to use a kiosk to place his order but it doesn’t end there. This place is very expensive more expensive than other restaurants in the area I end up spending around 50$ just to get jipped so I’m overspending and missing food items I’ve ordered and I know I can just check my bag but when met with a rude person all I want to do is get my stuff and go. Yes the food is good and to the best of my knowledge the cooks do a great job it’s not a terrible establishment but this woman doesn’t make it a great place.
I ordered my food at 5 PM on the mobile app and unfortunately here at 5:36. I am still waiting for it. I would give you more information on taste and everything, but I don’t have it yet which is probably enough to tell you that you should not come here if you were looking to get through fast. It’s definitely something they need to work on and I hope the best for them.
It's pricier than other taco bells. Service was slow, and a woman at the front counter stood b.s.ing and playing on her phone while the drive-through woman took orders and tried filling the order into the bags. Sat for a long time in the drive-through. With people only willing to work in their little bubble of responsibility and not help others its no wonder it took so long.
Every time I’ve attempted to order or pick up a mobile order in the last three weeks, I’ve been told it was going to be a 20+ minute wait at the drive in. This evening, tried to order again, gave a 20 minute lead time before even heading there…was told 25 minutes until it was ready. Waited the 25…pulled up again and was told it would be another 15-25 minutes. Meanwhile, I saw multiple people go inside to place an order and receive their food. The staff have been incredibly rude, and coming to this review section I’m not the only one who has had the same terrible experience.
Food is always great, but you lack terribly in service. Within the last 2 weeks of trying to order in the drive-thru I've been told on two separate occasions that there will be a 20 minute wait because there is only one person. Annd you're open why? Specifically, this Taco Bell should not be offering DoorDash as a service, especially if you are short staffed. Lastnight, I had to cancel a customers order because I had already been waiting 15+ minutes (it was around 11:20 pm) and still had 3 cars ahead of me and 4 behind. I ended up leaving and while I passed the drive-thru window I could see an employee leaning against the counter, on her phone. There's half the issue. This Taco Bell needs dire help with management. You seem to always be hiring, and a majority of the people that are hired, in my experience, have displayed poor work ethic, as if they can't be bothered AT THEIR JOB. A year or so ago I remember when an order wasn't ready, you'd have us pull up or park on the other side and someone would bring it out. I just don't see how we can all be waiting at least 15 minutes and out of the 8 cars, no one's order is ready? Or there's no attempt to getting cars to move along? I will point out there's a male employee who has displayed great enthusiasm, this was 2 days ago I believe. His attitude was great, whether he was having a bad day or not I wouldn't have known! He was thorough when I was wanting to confirm certain items in my customers bag; he didn't act annoyed and didn't answer anything with 'I don't know'. I loathe the "I don't know" responses, it is so careless. Anyway, couldn't tell you his name or what he looked like, I just know there needs to be more employees like that, who still apply themselves regardless of the type of day they're having, for your restaurant to improve! Sorry to say, but based on other more recent reviews, this Taco Bell has really declined the last few months.
Actually disgusting. I love Taco Bell but this was a disgusting. Not only did I watch them remake a crunchwrap atleast 3 times, my Baja blast gelato having crust all around the rim and some sorta discharge oozing out of the lid, the place was disorganized and disgusting to be in, on top of all of that I never got my drink. After asking twice they gave me to wrong freeze, and one was melted, but when I asked again to a different person (who I think is the manager) for my drink she had no gloves on and touching all over my cup. I couldn’t stand to get my drink after that. A waste of $5. Never going back to this location. Why have like 10 people working and none are actually making food or cleaning, took atleast 20 mins for a Crunchwrap and burrito.

This should absolutely never happen. I ordered on Uber eats. The delivery driver said she checked in the order on the intercom and the workers said it was going to be 30 minutes to pick up my order. This is not the first time something like this has happened. This represents an irredeemable breakdown of basic functions for a fast food place to take 30 minutes+ from intercom to order. Absolutely a shame. Disappointed customer, and costing someone who works deliver to miss out on wages.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Walked in and the immediate smell of something foul ruined the experience as well of the many groups of flies flying around the kitchen and dining area. Staff was not the nicest and the kitchen was also a mess with food everywhere on the ground.

I will never go back to this taco bell to eat !! Absolutely disgusting! The food line where they prep the food was covered in old food and wrappers , garbage dirty water all over the floor where they prep the food not sure if it was from a sink or dishwasher, the dinning area where customers sit and eat was also disgusting the tables had garbage old cheese and food stuck to them the floors had soda spilled and dried because they didn't mop and the employees had zero customer service skills the one guy working looked and acted completely miserable when we finally got are food it was old and nasty spent 44.00 and threw it all away and walked out never again !

Terrible experience. I placed an online order and had to wait over 30 minutes. When I went inside, it took 15 minutes just to speak to someone, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Other customers were telling me to just leave because of how bad the wait was, but I stayed since I had already paid. When I finally got the food, there was a hair in it. Absolutely unacceptable. I bought the 12 pack meal and my wife bought the supreme taco meal. Of course, like always, they mix them all together and no supreme tacos. When we saw them mixed together, we already knew the outcome. I feel like they do this on purpose. There's a few good taco bells, but most are run very badly.
Abysmal customer service. Forgot two items and then I had to yell into the back to get someone's attention where I then got attitude for wanting the rest of my order. Come here only if you like having to fight for anyone's attention because the staff is too busy having conversations to actually handle expediting the orders. I try calling sometimes so i don't have to wait 45+ minutes in the drive through for a stupid cup of sauce i paid extra for and no one picks up after multiple attempts, so I have to wait anyway. The parking lot and entrance are littered with catastrophic pot holes too, good luck avoiding them its literally impossible, they are giant meteors that will damage cars if they haven't already. Also the staff is slow and uncaring, no hello, no greeting just throws the bag at you and watches you till you leave.
Nothing like waiting 20mins for fast food. Also, I dont know that they clean or sanitize inbetween orders. Im vegetarian snd there was chunks of ground beef attached to the outside of my bean burrito. The guy who took my order was nice though.

The absolute worst expierence we have ever had at a taco bell. We ordered ahead and our food did not come up until a full hour after we placed the order. Everyone in the lobby when we arrived to pick up at the scheduled time also waited at least 30 minutes. None of the staff were apologetic about the situation. When I asked the cashier how much longer the wait would be, after being in the lobby for over 30 minutes, they didn't check on the order just said it would be awhile.
This taco bell is actually horrible. One time i ordered $50 worth of food and received only drinks. they are actually so slow it’s insane. they move like snails. It shouldn’t take that long for a taco. The customer service is horrendous. They also always mess up the food like nothing is ever correct and stuff is always missing.
This is the WORST fast food place I ever been, I work long hours, drive 2 hours after seeing my kid. Last THREE TIMES was only open for DoorDash, then only mobile app, then didn’t have like 2-3 items I asked for. This is the 4th and last time, has to download mobile app and wait 10mins. Then sit behind 1 car at checkout 36 mins after I paid and still waiting. Need to close this down and get management to straighten this out ASAP. Put it this way, my GPS said I’d be home at 12:42 and I got home at 1:38!!! The food was cold, very skimpy, barely ANYYYY nacho cheese sauce, I NEVER complain or leave reviews but was ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! If the line didn’t take an hour and 10 cars behind me, I woulda gave them the food back and since I had to pay mobile app and downloaded it because they wouldn’t serve me otherwise, if I knew how to of canceled my order I would have. Worstttt Taco Bell I have ever been too and worst restaurant/fastfood/service/food I have ever gotten/received EVER! Will NEVER go there again. I’ll pack a lunch for my ride home from now on! Sad thing is the “owner” sees all these reviews and still doesn’t take action.
The slowest Fast food restaurant I've been to. 1st to place a order and 5 ppl have placed an order and left. Still waiting. Poor customer service.
This place needs to be re hired. Everyone that works here is incompetent and rude. Something is always missing from drive through, doordash takes over an hour. Actually disgusting work place, and even more disgustingly disappointing staff. do better.
I placed an order through the app for drivethru pick-up. There was a slow moving line when I got there, so I knew there would be a bit of a wait. Once there was only 1 car ahead of me at the pick-up window, I still had to wait another 30 minutes to get my food. I finally got my food almost an hour after I placed the order. This is not the first time I've waited for over 30 minutes to pick up food at this location. When I gave feedback about this concern in the app last summer, I got no response. I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance. Nothing has changed and clearly this location doesn't care.
I was not really wanting to post a bad review but after several visits here at the oneonta Taco Bell I see many issues during the evening hours. About 1 week ago I pulled up to the drive thru and when I got to the speaker they told me it would be a 30 minute wait. I figured by time I left and went somewhere else I would wait not thinking it would be 30 minutes since there were only 2 cars ahead of me. The wait in the drive thru ended up being 1 hour. When I got to the window the guy was kind of rude. I again went to Taco Bell tonight waited in a drive thru line, got to the speaker and was told “I’ll be right with you” so I waited…… 10 minutes later the girl came on the speaker and said their cash register at the drive thru was broke and they could only take mobile orders. This would have been helpful to know when I pulled up. She said the lobby was open and I could come inside after sitting in the drive thru about 25 minutes total. I pulled around and there were many people in the lobby. Another customer told me it took an hour to get their food to which it was incorrectly made. I decided to leave. Other recent visits I could go on, the soft taco shells being stale and hard etc, ordering a chicken quesadilla and not having any chicken on it. I try not to complain as I know it’s hard to find help but this is ridiculous. I love Taco Bell but ours in oneonta is becoming horrible.
I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Taco Bell in Oneonta. First of all, the food I received was cold, and when I brought it to their attention, the employee cursed at me and told me to “just eat it.” I was stunned. Not only is this completely unprofessional, but serving cold food is a serious health risk — especially when it comes to items that are supposed to be hot and fresh. The customer service here is atrocious. No one seemed to care about correcting the issue, and the attitude I got was unacceptable. The manager even came to my job two months ago and admitted that the location is struggling and may shut down soon due to being short-staffed. After my experience, I can see why. To make matters worse, a friend of mine ate here a few weeks ago — he ordered the chicken nuggets (which Taco Bell barely even promotes) — and ended up violently sick the next day. He vomited several times and had to take time off work to recover. That’s not just bad service; that’s a serious food safety issue. This location needs to be inspected or shut down. Between the rude staff, cold food, and potential foodborne illness, it’s a health hazard. I’ll never eat here again and would strongly advise others to stay far away. You’re better off going literally anywhere else. She threw food in the bag .
My boyfriend and I work nightshift so it’s nice to have a place in town thats open at midnight. We went to taco bell last night, and we ordered 2 chicken quesadillas and 2 grilled cheese burritos. Both quesadillas looked like the image attached; I don’t recall ordering a chicken quesadilla without any ingredients… The burritos had all the sauce pooled at the bottom of the burrito instead of being spread throughout the burrito. On top of this poor quality meal, they allegedly “ran out” of drinks and nacho cheese. What????
This place is a walking food health code nightmare sorry for blurry picture but there's food all over the ground and the employees are just flinging food they are preping onto the dirty counter. This is disgusting!!! I just waiting 45 mins for a damn crunchwrap... you should be ashamed!! This place is a disgrace. I can't say one good thing about it!!
Ordered through the drive through, ans when I went to pay, the lady kept my card in the shop for quite a while since she was working on drinks and other things. Worst part is when I got home and I'm missing a part of my order (just a sour cream thing, not that big) but also my burritos are small and flat as all heck?? Like this is child sized, I paid 9 bucks for this?!?
30-45 minute wait without warning, couldn't leave because I'd already paid. Multiple people waiting the same amount of time, no communication from staff. Everyone looks half asleep, no apologies or anything. Food was somehow cold by the time I got it. AND the entire order was completely wrong. 1/8 items I ordered was correct. Also, a lot of mold on surfaces, I had plenty of time to look and take photos. Health department is getting a call.
