Pho Oh Tasty Orange Reviews
This is easy the best pho, the taste is great, the broth is rich but very clean. The herbs are fresh and the service is great, fast and friendly.
This family run restaurant uses quality and fresh ingredients. The food is tasty and the portion is VERY big. Their price is very reasonable. Service is attentive. Definitely will return. Highly recommend the charbroiled beef dishes (either rice or bun) and the crispy spring rolls. Their soup stock for the pho is good as well.
This place has one of the best Vietnamese beef noodle soup in Orange County. Their service is great as well. One thing I notice about this place is that their broth always comes out super hot and that has been consistent for the last 2 years that I've been going here to eat. I haven’t been here for sometime now so decided today to get their #53 vermicelli with charbroiled pork and egg rolls (Bun Thit Heo Nuong Cha Gio). For $10.72, I can’t believe the amount of high quality and perfectly seasoned pork they give you along with 2 solid crispy egg rolls. Flavor was awesome, some places don’t season very well or hardly even season. I did wish they had more veggies like mint leaves because I’m a veggie kind of dude. Nonetheless completely satisfied. Took me 2 sittings to finish the dish.
I came in with my SO. We had the number 21 small ($12) and large ($13 or $14). Despite its humble space the pho was excellent. The broth was flavorful and beefy. The noodle to meat ratio was appropriate. The meat was tender and delicious. The size was a bit on the smaller side than I am used to. Typically their large would be a small at other locations but for about $14 it wasn't too bad. The service was excellent very efficient and kind. I will be back if I am ever in the location
Pho is delicious! Their brisket had flavor alone. Tasty just like in their name. Oh tasty
Been coming here for 2-3 years now and I must say, they are amazing. Great customer service, great food and huge portion sizes. The price is is low-to-medium.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, their Thai iced tea? Delicious! For first timers, I reccomend the pho w/rare beef. Been going there for almost a year now
I love this place, I could eat here everyday! The pho broth is my favorite
I love the food it the only thing is the amount of servers to guest is hard to keep up but they always have great service
Very good pho, the egg rolls and spring rolls were tasty, and the service was much more than I expected, with constant water and drink refills offered, plates eared as we finished, etc. The staff were happy to accommodate our group that included numerous children, ages ranging from 1 to 5 years old, with boosters, high chairs, and even scissors to cut the noodles!
Came in 20 mins before closing and service was terrible and pretty much got faces for ordering
This is probably my favorite pho place in Orange hands down! If you're craving a hot bowl of pho after being absolutely obliterated by a comp sci final, this is THE place for you.
Everything here is great. The service is great. The pho is fantastic. Banh mi is wonderful. Delicious Thai iced tea.
Food is always top notch. For a while, however, the service was sub, sub standard. I am happy to report that in my humble opinion, every category now deserves 5 stars.
It's always packed, food is amazing, service is fairly quick. Portions are pretty generous, with 10$ meal I'm full for the rest of the day.
First time here and the food was pretty good and decently priced. I had the chicken pho and everything tasted perfect.
They're food is delicious and they're very generous with their portions. Clean and good service made dining here a very enjoyable experience.
Very clean, very tasty, every dishes are very delicious!!!. Great Customer service!!!! The place get packed.i love their foods.
I used to call Fontana Pho my favorite place because of their unique charbroiled chicken pho. Since trying Pho Oh Tasty, I have a NEW fave place for Pho❤❤❤
Best Pho I've had so far! Clean location, friendly and quick service, and best of all, GOOD FOOD!
The best pho place in Orange County! The soup is spot on and the noodles are perfect. Don't ever move or close, lol.
I really enjoyed the pho here. My friend said it had a flowery taste to it but I dodnt get that at all. I thought it was sweet and savory and perfect! All the veggies were fresh and we also had the spring rolls which were pretty good. I thought the service was great and the Thai iced tea was delicious. Will definitely be going back!
Love Pho Oh Tasty! They are quick around lunch time and delicious. There Pho with chicken is great. Their vermicelli with beef is delicious too! If you love Pho try it out!
This place has bomb Pho! The soup is soooooo good, it's got a lot of flavor and the noodles are just right. Best place for pho outside of Westminster in Orange County. I usually order a small pho tai with an order of the pork spring rolls. Literally the best combination ever. Get here early for dinner because it gets pretty busy!
This was my first time coming here and man it was all so delicious. We ordered spring rolls, pho, and egg rolls. Everything was great. The food came out in less than 10 minutes and service was very quick. Will be coming back again.
Very nice, prompt, fast customer service. All foods are fresh made&very tasty. I recommend this place very much. I&my elderly mother go 3 to 4 days out a week here.
Attached photos are menu items and prices as of July 25, 2020. The prices have gone up by roughly 10% since the Covid19 pandemic stay at home order started, but Phone Oh Tasty has been a beacon of quality and consistency every time. Literally every item we've ordered: Pho noodle soup, sandwich, appetizer, vermicelli... tastes just as delicious every single time. Solid 5 star pho joint.
Hello there, I love pho oh tasty, their broth is great, service is good, Thai tea is really tasty and the prices are so very good. I have tried every Vietnamese food place in the area and this place will always be my favorite. Only con: the interior of the restaurant is a little beat up. Enjoy, David
It was so amazing, im always limiting how much I Can to make sure I don’t over eat but this time, I went ALL the way out!!! It’s so amazing I definitely recommend it, they were so sweet and they made sure we were having a good time and a good lunch.
Love this little place. Great Pho and Vietnamese egg rolls, their spring rolls are good too. We've been many times and will continue to go when we're in the mood for Pho.
Very good Pho. The best I've had by far in Orange County. (And I have been to most of the Pho restaurants here). Good staff, clean place, best value of any other Pho place. (More noodles and meat for the price).
The pho place that created my addiction to Pho over the last few years. BF and I come every week and it’s just so delicious, service is amazing, and you can’t go wrong with the price.
My favorite pho restaurant in Orange County. This place has good broth, good meat, and friendly staff. Well worth supporting this place and ensuring that good food lasts long into the future!
My search is over. So glad we found a good pho restaurant near home. Friendly and quick service. We ordered one rare beef and one shrimp, delicious!
Always provide good customer service attentive and love the food portions are just right and the price is always a winner not bad love it. I love eating cold noodles on a hot day with shrimp skewers, egg rolls, pickled carrot, peanuts, lettuce
This is my Cheers for pho. Tasty, great portions, friendly staff. Any pho is good, and lemon grass chicken #45 are my favorites. And they are fast, so great option if you are low on time.
The Pho is always fresh and has the most flavorful broth around. The fresh shrimp spring roll with their peanut sauce is a great side. I’ve tried almost every Vietnamese restaurant in a 10 mile radius over the years and Pho Oh Tasty is my favorite. It’s always nice seeing the owner, it’s a welcoming environment.
The food is consistently good here! Been eating here for many years. The rare steak pho, lemongrass beef, and the cold vermicelli noodles with charbroiled pork and shrimp are awesome. Can’t go wrong with the Thai tea with boba either.
This is the best pho around, the broth is unmatched. I compare every other bowl of pho to this and it's reigning supreme. Egg rolls are also delicious, everything is *chef's kiss* Pho Oh Tasty indeed!
The team here at Pho Oh Tasty is good. Consistently well-cooked & good food, good service, and the food is on time. Also, unlike some other southeastern Asian restaurants, they still give you a full cup of a drink when asked with less or no ice. Other stingy & shady places only give you half a cup. Their Thai teas good! I recommend this place!
Food is served fast within 5 mins and staff is friendly. Zero to low wait time to be seated! Recommend this place because I go with my family of 10 after church!
I have been coming here for years and this is the best place to get Pho in Orange County. Wonderful service.
If you like pho, this place is Oh Tasty! LOL My favorite hole in the wall place for pho. My go-to is the Vegetable with Tofu #28, I get it every time and have yet to be disappointed. Great flavor with the beef broth and fresh veggies.
This is my absolute go-to Pho place if I do not want to drive all the way to Little Saigon. It is well-worth the price and definitely worth the price. This restaurants sits in a plaza on Meats and Tustin. Parking is always plentiful, even at peak hours (lunch and dinner). The restaurant is pretty small, but even when it's busy I never had to wait that long for a table. The inside is nice and quaint, and gives off a comforting vibe. The restaurant I believe is family owned and staffed, and the service is always perfect. Their appetizers are might I say, appetizing. Their springs rolls and egg rolls are perfectly priced and sized, so they play well especially if you are only ordering Pho, which does not come with any sides like egg rolls or spring rolls. I have been here a handful of times and was able to try the Bun (Vermicelli), Com (Rice Dishes), and of course their famous Pho. They are all relatively affordable and come in decent portions. I have been really full, and sometimes have leftovers. For the Bun and the Com, I have only tried their chicken, which is splendid and delicious. For their Pho, I have ordered the Dac Biet which is pretty much all their combinations, except chicken and seafood. I usually get the large, and it comes with a good amount of meat and noodles.
The food here is always so good. The pho is great and the staff is so kind. We love it here
Really good for the price. I got a large combination pho, and they actually filled the bowl with a lot of cooked and rare beef! Also got the Vietnamese egg rolls, which were bigger than other places. They had perfect crunchy texture outside with tender meat filling inside.
[5-STAR RECOMMENDATION] Pho Oh Tasty offers delicious chicken banh mi sandwiches. Definitely ask for the extra special sauce (mayonnaise) that pairs well with the sandwich. I would highly recommend checking this place out! The customer service is excellent as well!
Great pho for a fantastic price. One of the best spots in the area. Highly recommend!
It's great just trust me it's cheap it's comforting it's delicious my family are a bunch of foodies so we know it's good
This is my favorite local pho place. I am not familiar with authentic Vietnamese pho but really enjoy the charbroiled beef pho. It may not be a traditional preparation but I like it. Been here many times with my gf. I get it every time. Also liked the spring and egg rolls.
Has wonderful Pho and vermicelli bowls. Don't forget to get the egg rolls 😋
to say this place is good is an understatement!! SO GOOD! i have eaten pho all over and this is very comforting home style place, very kind and attentive service. I come here regularly for take out and dine in!! accommodating and addicting food
Excellent service and the food was delicious and much needed during a rainy day after visiting Microcenter! The well done brisket soup and egg rolls will be worth driving back 27 miles :)
We hiked at Santiago Oak and needed lunch afterwards. We found Pho OH Tasty on Google maps and it was excellent: one rice plate and one vermicelli bowl, chicken and beef were very good. Also had a Vietnamese coffee, if you want to be spun.
This place is one of my favorites. They specialize in Pho and Grilled pork noodle. Just excellent food at reasonable price. Can’t go wrong here.
I absolutely love their veggie pho, especially when I add fried tofu and stick with the original broth. It’s my go-to dish, especially when I’m feeling under the weather. The broth is incredibly flavorful and authentic, and it’s always consistently delicious every time I visit. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making for a wonderful experience every time.
Buena atencion ,deliciosa comics y el cafe exquicito
Muyrico
Decir que este lugar es bueno es quedarse corto. ¡Buenísimo! He comido pho en todas partes y este es un lugar casero y muy reconfortante, con un servicio muy amable y atento. Vengo a menudo para llevar y para comer aquí. Comida acogedora y adictiva.
This is my family's go to, local spot for pho. I always get the pho ga with grilled chicken on the side. The broth is consistently tasty. It's a clean, light broth that's balanced with all the aromatics. The grilled chicken is charred nicely with a subtle curry sweetness. If soup isn't piping hot. I'm not eating eat. Luckily it's always steaming.
Solid pho place with generous meat portions in their pho. They don’t skimp out by giving you 1.5 beef balls cut up in 10 pieces! Broth was solid. The bun bo was also really good - meat was super tasty
8/20/2023 = 4 Star = got really good costumer service, just notice only 2 slice of jalapeno, meat not a lot , i still enjoy the food, will try to come back again , hopefully i get 4 slice of jalapeno .
Small pho restauraunt located in a small shopping plaza off N Tustin St with ample parking. Service is fast and personable, prices are fair, portions are OK, and most of all, food is super delicious! Especially love their rich broth 🤤 Just a heads up that they can sometimes get busy on weekends.
Good food. A bit of a wait time which was expected because of the rainy weather. The only thing I did not receive upon my order was a side order of rice. Aside from that, the pho was tasty and filling.
Quick efficient service. This is Vietnamese but they do a couple of things outside the box which is nice. You can get pho with grilled chicken or beef. It's not for everyone but I do like how that's an option.
Nice broth and food, however they charged extra 50cents for requesting rare meats on side without notices customer ahead, it would be more nice if they could’ve remind the customer.
This place absolutely lives up to their name! I have tried 4 to 5 different dishes and ALL have been delicious with more than fair portions!
My first time here. I was a little hesitant to try a new place. But I have to say, it is a great Pho place. The Pho had a great taste. We were served within minutes. Parking is good, sometimes you have to wait a bit. I will be coming back. 🍜
Good place to get Pho. Prices have gone up. Plus simple dining. I give this place 4 stars. There are 2 other places that have really tasty Pho for the same price and offer a nicer dining atmosphere.
I got the food to go. The order was correct and had a decent amount of food. I tried number 55. The crispy rolls were crispy and tasty. shrimp were on a stick and the chicken was well cooked. Great service, the food came out quick. I was greated at the door for a table.
The service here is not bad and the food here is better than most Vietnamese around this area. My family and I have dined here many times and we have our favorites such as chicken Phở, vermicelli with BBQ meats such as pork, beef, or shrimp, and there is also different rice dishes to choose from. My son is a fan of the chicken Phở because of the white meat (chicken breast) that is used.
Great food. Service is ok since they speak English. Not like other Vietnamese restaurant where you have to point on the menu in order for them to understand your order. Price is reasonable considering they're not on the Asian district. We will definitely come back again.
Very tasty broth and the small bowl is perfect size for a quick lunch break
Based on the other reviews, I decided to come in for a to-go Pho and I will admit that I wasn't disappointed. It's a solid Pho place if you're feeling the inkling for it and you're in the area. The portion sizes are generous and are well packed for to-go. The staff were great in-person and it's a solid Pho place. It is in a plaza with ample parking and the service was fast as well. I'd definitely come back in if I'm in the area.
Price great. Broth great. Authentic taste. Order consistency wasn't too great. The large bowl had half the amount of chicken as the small even though it costs more. The chicken breast was actually raw which was disappointing. The broth is delicious and so were the noodles, but the chicken really ruined my appetite after seeing how pink it was. They did bring more meat but it does seem undercooked, so be weary of the white meat.
Food was good until floor mopping was done while eating. The smell of the cleaning solution was so strong, that's all I could smell/taste while eating. If they waited until everyone was done and did this before closing the experience would have been better.
☆☆☆☆
Ordered Pho for takeout. No complaints on the Pho but no one in the back prepping the food was wearing wearing a mask. Only the cashier. That may not bother some but I feel like it's an extra safety precaution that really helps me feel better about getting takeout during this time.
First visit. 2pm Sunday. Place was busy. We entered and were abruptly told to put our names on the waiting list outside. We did and were ignored for 10 min. Three groups bypassed list and were seated. We went in again and were told it was free seating?? Food (4) came late. Pho was good. Shame about the service (2). Disorganised!
I don't like the pho it has a tea flavor to it not good at all I expected a whole different flavor and the taro boba was either done incorrectly it taste with extremely added powder I gave it a 3 star because we ordered a sandwich and that was delicious I would definitely recommend a sandwich from this place
We USED to love this place! I don't know exactly what they changed but the food is just not the same anymore! The pho soup is a bit more salty with a stronger taste of MSG and the vermicelli noodle and the noodle inside the spring rolls is over cooked and saugy. I really wish they would change things back to the way they were!
Verbally confirmed my order was correct when giving it to me in the plastic takeout bag only to arrive home to find it is the wrong order... Good food but poor service... Hopefully better luck next time.
Soup was weak, in flavor. Little pieces of tripe and beef tendon. Egg rolls over cooked.
The reason why I’m not giving a 1 star review is because i really loved buying spring rolls from here, they’re my favorite. Today however, I sadly found a piece of human hair inside one of the spring rolls that I was eating. This completely gave me the ick and it’s disappointing because this was one of my favorite places to eat at. Now, I’m not so sure I’m coming back here again.
My experience didn't start well, because the prices online did not match with what is charged once inside. For one Lg. bowl of Pho - Rare beef (nothing fancy), a side of noodles and a 6 piece egg roll, the order came out to $30. None the less, my son and I were excited to get home and try it. Thank the holy Lord above that I payed the $3 for extra noodles, because the ones in the bowl were covered in blood from the raw meat that was loosely wrapped in the baggie and placed upside down on top of the noodles in the bowl (come on man, at least seal the bag or wrap it properly). After discarding that set of noodles we split the other noodles into 2 servings and began to eat. The meat was chewy and inedible. We both spit it out. So we pretty much had broth and noodles for our $30 meal. The egg rolls were not much better than the meat in the Pho. I didn't even finish one of them. The only reason for the 2 star review is the saving grace here - The broth, it did have good flavor.. But honestly, I wouldn't come back. I had high hopes for this place, seeing how busy it always is, every time I come to that parking lot, so maybe we came on a bad day. Who knows. . My journey for amazing Pho in my beautiful city continues...
Great Pho; however, there were few instances that the attendant/ cashier was rude when asked about their other menu. Customer service with a smile and a little patience to answer an inquiry from a PAYING customer goes a long way. Took our business somewhere after this experience.
The workers at this restaurant were extremely rude. I came here with my friends and one of them was vegetarian. We asked for veggie options and was told one dish was vegetarian after they said they were completely sold out of rice and every other vegetarian option and also had no vegetarian soup option which is completely okay. But then when the dish came it was clearly not vegetarian and we asked to send the dish back but was instead met with rudeness. They refused to take the meal back, and said they told us there was meat in the veggie chow mein but in reality they told us it was vegetarian. She literally did not touch the meal expect for the one bite. The pho was delicious but the servers were rude and not understanding.
Let me start by saying this place has been my favorite for YEARS and was my go to place for Pho in the o/c area. You could take someone to a super tasty lunch for approximately $40. Since moving to LA, I haven't been able to frequent. I went there today and was shocked by a HUGE price increase on their dishes. They used to be packed every day for lunch, and today it was almost empty, which I'm sure is do the the new prices. Good restaurants need a balance between value and food quality, and frankly, the attraction is now gone for me. While the food was still good, it wasn't as good as before...my belief is that really busy restaurants have the best food because they are moving through it so quickly. Perhaps the reduction in customers has effected the quality. I can only guess, but unfortunately due to the value not being there for me any longer, I won't be going back.
Worst service ever. We sat down for 10 minutes and weren’t acknowledge at all and this other family comes and they get a menu right off the bat… Made my wife feel uncomfortable and made us want to leave but we decided to stay. We always feel discriminated
Food is great but their customer service is horrible. I buy 40+ dollars worth of food and ask for hot sauce with seeds in it and they only give me two packets of chili paste sriracha and when I asked for the other sauce they get mad and say it's the same thing. They also give me dirty looks if I ask for more. I'm just like are you serious I just purchased almost $50 worth of food and you're going to be stingy on your hot sauce. This has happened more than once I thought it was just one of their bad days or something but I guess that's just really how they are.
Cashier was very rude and has No Patience when taking orders from a Paying Customer. Asked for Sriracha chili sauce, answered rudely we are out.Just Lost my Business and Some with such Poor Customer Service.
Very delicious 🤤 just be a little patient when new people comes for the first time to the restaurant, Do Not Rush Them! Be a bit more attentive because if people loves your food; we will definitely order more and that means more $$$$$ lady that takes the phones orders is really rude and bad attitude
This place smells horrible. Not to mention horrible customer service. My first time here and the waiter rushing us to order. Yeah never going back. Pho 828 hands down to their food and service.
Waitress completely forgot my order and no apology or anything. Waiting over 15 minutes for pho is pretty bad, also their quality has gone down and prices up. Go elsewhere for decent service and better pho.
Be AWARE of overcharging!!! Had to ask for slides onions, twice. Charged $1.50 for them when it is fee at all other pho locations. Also overcharged for shrimp spring roll. Showed $5 on website. Showed $6.99 on menu. Then charged $7.99. Pho price on menu for large was $14.99. Was charged $15.50. Annoying. No repeat business from me.
This is the 2nd time this has happened. I always order 3 orders to go. After paying I asked the young chunky girl behind the counter for chili paste. She gives me 1 single single packet. I ask for 2 more as I have a total of 3 orders yet don’t want to be wasteful and take too many. She begins to shame me for asking for so many. This confuses me since these packets are so small (think Ketchup packet size) and I just asked for 1 per order which I explained to her. Begrudgingly she gave me 2 more, then in a reprimanding tone she tells me that next time she will charge me for the packets. I come here a lot and have no problem paying for these little packets but I don’t appreciate being shamed in front of all the other customers. I have never experienced such terrible service except for with this young girl. Hope the owner learns of her behavior so no one else experiences this.
