I used to go here for lunch almost every week when I worked in the area. I relocated to another job location. I came back one for a slice after 5+ years and the owner recognized me immediately after all those years. I even had my hair cut very short over the years and he stilled remembered me. That is what I call knowing your customer. The place is clean and cozy. The service is phenomenal. You are greeted with a smile. The Bruschetta slice is AMAZING. I always have that slice when I go. I highly recommend it. The crust is nice and crispy and then. The chicken, onions and tomatoes are fantastic. Now that I am back working in the area, I will be a regular again. Parking is not great during the day on business days, but once you taste the pizza, it is well worth the ride around the lot to find parking.

A real nice family pizzeria with nice slice variety, the crust is very, very good, the sauce choices full of flavor. The atmosphere is adorned with Italian accents on walls , wooden chairs and small tables adequate for 4 but a bit tight. We make a trip here every now and then and it is worth every mile. I guarantee you will feel the same. Italian is spoken here. Mangia que te fa bene.....

Finally some decent pizza for delivery! And I didn’t have to go to Brooklyn. My husband just brought home a cheese pie and I’m so glad he did! Delicious thin crust with the right amount of cheese and sauce. Will definitely be be back!

I work nearby and happened on this place one day when I was looking for lunch. The owner ( I think ), is such a sweetheart. The young guys that work there are so respectful and courteous. It’s clean and the food is excellent to boot. The pandemic hurt them I’m sure so if you’re looking for a nice local spot, give them a try. We need to patronize good places like this and keep their doors open. 👍🏼

Ordered Tortellini Alfredo and wife had the stuffed shells, everything was great came in a good time was hot and fresh and we will be back looking forward to eating other things that you have to offer.

THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA PLACE ON LONG ISLAND! When me and my friends come we each spend $5-10 dollars each and have a great time. Service is always amazing, VERY friendly and is welcoming to everyone! The atmosphere is incredible always decorated for every holiday, season and you can tell effort was put in! very accessible and they do dine in, delivery, and takeout whenever you want it’s really fast. When I tell you, this place makes not only the best grandma pizza, the baked clams and the fried calamari is top-tier. I placed an order yesterday for today, which is Christmas Eve. The grandma pie is top tier. Of the best of the best in New York. I am not sure who Grandma is , but she make a good pie. I tried the grandpa pie also, but grandpa did not as good as grandma. Location is prime, relaxed in the plainview center. I like to get haircut, then get grandma pie for me. I like this Phil and son . Highly recommended pizza, for all of New York. If you stop and ShopRite and buy jar of peppers you can also add to pizza like me.

NYC Pizza at its highest restaurant quality. Me and my lady like to randomly explore. This weekend was Soyasset. We found ourselves in front of this place. We don't usually eat pizza for dinner, so we were highly indecisive and fickled about what to order. This guy's patience was saintly. Impressive pizza. Stay and eat it warm. I did not regret that choice.

Good pizza at a decent price. My favorite are the regular slice, chicken barbecue slice and buffalo chicken slice. Their garlic knots are good too. Everything else can be a hit or a miss. They prefer cash over credit card.

This spot has been in the neighborhood for years and is my go-to place to eat after shopping at the nearby ShopRite or getting a haircut at Raphael's. I typically order my food to go, but it's a small, cozy place to dine in as well. Their food is fantastic, and I feel it deserves more recognition. My favorites are the grandma slice and the regular slice.

For a traditional pizzeria they did good. It was your average slice. But not average size, so where the pizza wasn’t anything special you get a little more of it so a good bag for your buck. All in all if I was in the shopping center again it’s a maybe from me.

I ordered grilled chicken Cesar salad. It was served fast. It didn't match in taste any grilled chicken Cesar salad i have had before. They have good pizza, I tried before, but this salad was a mistake.

Pizza crust doesnt hold -sauce taste a lil funny compare to other pizzerias - I give the pizza a 5.2/10

Be VERY careful when ordering from this place. I used to work at shop rite and would come here for pizza all the time, and sometimes they sold me pizza that was made with expired cheese :/ yuck. Some of their slices are amazing like the chicken francese slices or the lasagna slices, but I always taste my slice before leaving the store now. again be careful!

Ive been going to Phil’s and sons for a while now and always asked for coke but the thing is they don’t sell Coca Cola so I go with the Pepsi. But One day I was so tired, on my way to work I bought a Coke from Burger King on my break I went to phill and son and sat in next to the drinks (I normally seat in the back, bcs I only have 15 mn break so I did not oder anything but always come back on my 30 mn lunch mind y’all I’ve been going there almost 3 or 4 time per weeek and always asked for a koke) then one of the worker asked me to leave the store bcs I was drinking a coke from Burger King.( kicked me out). I won’t go back anymore

Phil & Sons Pizza in Plainview is way too hyped for what it actually delivers. We tried the Pink Penne Pasta, and it was horrible — bland, poorly cooked, and nowhere near worth the price. Overall, the food felt average at best but was severely overpriced for the portion size and quality ($21 per serving / box). The place seems to rely more on hype than consistency or flavor. Given the high prices and expectations, this was a big disappointment. There are far better options in the area that offer better food and value. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

I understand inflation… but the food is Overly priced and mediocre at best… Tryna figure out what the owners is putting in the tomato sauce for a single slice to be so expensive and not taste all that good ? I had to add salt, pepper and garlic.. Then to add they charged for sauces ? Like huh ? They messed up my order, so I had to wait for another delivery. He was late and all the food was cold a soggy. I called the restaurant and told them I would go out of my way to write reviews about my experience. I was going to eat the food because I was so hungry, but ended up throwing it away because it was so bad.

Just threw out 2 slices or pizza...so much oil and the sause is way to sweet Disgusting...now I'm trying the spicy chicken roll what a waste of time no spice at all.and no flavor This is my second time here first t was just as bad but I figured I would give them a second try...wow what a mistake and waste of $15...very cheep produces used never again

After my husband had been in the hospital and rehab for the two weeks we called Phil and son for dinner, we spent $70 for a Stuffed Pizza, garlic bread with cheese and Manicotti I asked for some extra red sauce and was told it would be an extra $7,50 for a pint but she would put it in and not charge us. She didn’t charge me but also didn’t give us the extra sauce she said she would toss in, so tomorrow as they are now closed we will be bringing back there stuffed pizza (what I wanted the extra sauce for) for a refund, let’s see what happens

First time here and some dud name Anthony by the counter . The most disrespectful and disgusting person ever . He asked me if i wanted fork and knife and throw them on the counter where everyone put the money and place their hands without putting them on the on the plate or napkins . Dear friends, please do not order takeout from this store. The waiter has a bad attitude. My order has been shown as completed, but the merchant has not given the meal to the deliveryman and even drove him out of the store. The deliveryman went in to pick up the meal several times, but the merchant has ignored him. What status do you have to treat someone who has nothing to do with the deliveryman? In the end, I canceled the order myself. Jesus will not forgive those of you who look down on others.

I ordered a whole pie of Meat Stuffed Pizza $39, the description of ingredients is stuffed with breaded chicken and veal, fresh mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce. Once I opened the box and looked inside of the pizza, the stuffing only had breaded chicken and marinara sauce. Where are the veal and the fresh mozzarella cheese??? Plus it tastes horrible, I have to discard more than half of the pie. A staff and the owner are at the counter helping the walked-in customers; a staff and the owner are touching the money and the pre-sliced pizzas and this and that without washing hands in between... Cleanliness wise... Doubt it....

In my opinion, having pizza for over 25 Years I have seen the best pizzerias in Long Island and New York city, but Overall, Phil & sons are very pricey One of the most untasted Pizza I HAD!!! my kids and wife wore happy that I was got them pizza but they regretted it after they had the pizza.I Promise you that 7-Eleven Pie pizza that Cost $6 dollars is better than this pizza even the school pizzas we had in elementary in middle school is way better. I don’t know what type of marinara sauce they use!! If you are going to give it low quality pizza then give it for a reasonable price Four dollars a slice max I’ll pay is $1.50 is good Hopefully you guys have good improvement on all your pizzas.
