Beijing Buffet Port Lavaca Reviews
Very good service, the ladies were very nice! Extremely good food for cheap! Had a wonderful dining experience.
Best Asian buffet I've been to in a long time. Doesn't look like much from the outside but food is to die for... Honestly! Service is fast and friendly for the Asian take on things. Not a lot of English spoken but they understand and were all smiling.
Obviously I'm obsessed with Beijing Chinese food. Lol. I'm so glad they're here. I could literally eat there twice a week. I just wish they'd bring back the old lo mein noodles, not really feeling the ones they have now. Other than that everything's great. Fresh and taste wonderful. Great place to dine in or take out.
Pretty good food. We each really liked several dishes Nice selection of items. We went just after opening for a weekday lunch. Decent number of seafood dishes, including boiled shrimp. Visited in April 2024; lunch was $13 each. We thought it was a reasonable cost. The restaurant is located in a busy HEB shopping center.
It's a solid 3. I mean, the choices are limited. But when you pay $75 for 5 people, that is not bad at all. The one waitress was nice. But she was working all the tables. When you really have to satisfy a craving for Chinese food, this is your place but that's it.
Most likely under new management since I was last there. Yes I've been there before. I went a specifically for the pork wrapped shrimp just as the first time I went with my mother but most of the pork was raw. An the meat was as if it had been creamed than wrapped around the shrimp. Some of the pork creamed meat was fully cooked but the wrapped shrimp was partially raw. An the other dishes did not taste bad but none of the dishes were completely right we won't return.
There was not a lot of options of food and some of it tasted like it was sitting over night
This place was disgusting This place was disgusting I’ve seen nightmarish reviews you can’t trick me when I went there were holes in the ceiling and walls. I got a plain orange chicken with rice looked gross and guess what I was right. I wanted to get dessert but I was too busy staring at those desserts you know? Well at least my grandma liked the jello
Food is very nasty here. I will let my dog come here.
This is the most DISGUSTING restaurant I have ever been too! We should have known better when we saw the broken blinds, everything is dated the food is disgusting, stale, & lukewarm. My husband unfortunately bit into a bloody chicken wing. The health department needs to visit and shut this sham of a place down! And they have the nerve to only take off 6$ with the flimsiest apology and laughed in our faces. The icing on the cake is that my 15 year old ended up throwing up! Shame on you Beijing Buffet for charging outrageous prices for crappy food.
Stopped for my lunch break. Hope I don’t get sick when I go back to work. All their meats were cold and dry due to how long they were left out on those steam tables. Nothing was tender about it. Straight up jerky. Very limited options and just a total failure when it comes to quality. Service was good but they really need to rethink their menu and time how long the food is stationary. Should be fresh around the clock with those kind of prices. $15 is not worth the poor quality.
Horrible!!!!!! I give this place a 0 food taste very old and very cold i will never go back there
Health department really needs to come and inspect this place. Food was old and gross. Seen a roach in the salad bar. They leave they're back door open during business hours so I'm sure a bunch of bugs get in that way.
Dont eat here food was aweful, food was old and cold. Place smelled like old cooking grease. Sunday afternoon my wife and i were only people there eating! Guess that should have been the sign to turn around and walk out! Seriously aweful food
We went there and the food was not hot and it tasted old maybe if you go during lunch or dinner time it may be better but if you go in-between that time it's a no go. I thinking they leave the food there all day 😕
The food looks way better than its taste most of the food has no flavor or left a bad flavor in ur mouth the sweat tea was water down only good thing was the doctor pepper would not come again
Terrible! Roaches on the table! The owner came and said "everyone has roaches". The poor waitress was so sweet and embarrassed by the way he kept raising his voice. Never again!
Without a doubt the WORST restaurant I've ever been to. I tried a lot of different things just to see if they had anything good, and it was all nasty. Half of it was cold. I couldn't even bring myself to try the sushi. It looked like mystery meat rolled in wet toilet paper. Everything tastes like it was freezer burnt then thrown in oil or a microwave. Nothing was fresh, even the fruit. I couldn't wait to get home and brush my teeth just to get the taste out of my mouth. If I could give this negative stars I would.
