Food is outstanding! Fresh ingredients, portion size is perfect, & priced well. I had the falafel pita. It was stuffed and delicious! One of the best falafel dishes I’ve ever had. I also tried the passionfruit tea and it was a great - on the sweeter side which I prefer. We will definitely be back… often! 10/10 recommend

Truly authentic middle eastern food right here in poughkeepsie! The chummus is outrageously good, and everyone that came with me had a great meal. I've been waiting years for a place like this to open, so I'm a very happy camper right now 🙂

When you find a good restaurant, the most important part about it is CONSISTENCY! Far too often you find a place you love, and are disappointed when it doesn’t hit the same way it did when you first had it, or you recommend a friend to try it out and they have a different experience—this could never be the case with Saba. I couldn’t count on all my fingers and toes how many times I have eaten here, but EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail it is DELICIOUS. Every meal feels like I am gracing my taste buds with the finest delicacies for the first time all over again. The freshness and quality of the ingredients are very apparent. You will never have a one-off experience here. What really compliments how delicious this food is, too is the family that runs this place. They are kind, and clearly incredibly dedicated to their craft. My family comes here for the food, but STAYS always for the energy!

Wanted to support a local business and turns out that this place is fabulous! The staff was so friendly and offered samples of cookies which of course lead to a sale because they’re so delicious. We got the Hummus flight and I don’t know which one is my favorite. It might be the mushroom, but they’re all good. The warm pita that is served with it, is like right out of the oven. The falafel is so fresh and that sauce… I’d buy it by itself. Tried the cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. I couldn’t even tell you which one is better because they’re both so good. We tried the iced Chai (better than Starbucks) and the pomegranate mint lemonade. I didn’t think I’d care for it due to the mint, but it was surprisingly refreshing. They also have a beer selection! I’m definitely retiring for the great service, the excellent food, and the outdoor seating!

Food made with love and passion. The amount of care that comes with this tasty and delicious food is unmeasurable and unmatched in all of the Hudson Valley! The owners are so kind and helpful with all customers that come in, that positive energy will never go unnoticed! Everything on the menu that I’ve tried has been phenomenal. Saba is a must try!

My first visit did not disappoint. After church, I headed over and had the "Overnight Egg" and Iced Turkish Coffee. Extremely flavorful and most importantly fresh. Everything tasted incredible. The menu had so many options, I wanted to try, I decided pace myself and allow for further vsiits to try other items. Service is warm and friendly. I will definitely return.

My family and I experienced SABA tonight for the very first time, and they did not disappoint! JUST WOW! I’m so happy we have this quick service restaurant in our back yard here in Poughkeepsie!! The flavors👌 HIGHLY recommend their burger, chicken schnitzel, hummus flight and ice cream sundae. Nothing like this around🤤 A+++

I stopped here after a job interview. My Israeli food standards are high and they definitely met them! The chicken schnitzel pita was amazing. The pita itself was soft and fluffy- definitely homemade. The s’hug (Yemenite green pepper sauce) was creamy, somewhere between traditional s’hug and aioli. That must be the “Saba Sauce”. I really enjoyed it. The chips (fries) were the biggest standout for me; like jojos. Pro tip: dip fries in tahini— way better than ketchup. The Saba Sauce was also a good fry accompaniment. I hope I’ll have the opportunity to visit again!

I also always make sure to get a Turkish iced coffee on my way out. My husband loves to get the Saba burger, which is super flavorful. We love the chips, which are the perfect shape to scoop the sauces. Flavors are super authentic. Love this family owned spot in PK!

The best hummus I’ve ever had in my life. The pomegranate iced tea is incredible. The quality is extremely high in all of the food. The pita is soft and pillowy. The prices are high for the portion, but I wouldn’t want it to be cheaper for lower quality. We will be back!

Got the falafel pita. Falafel were delightfully crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not dry at all. Perfect size for the pita and ensures that every bite is a great mix. Will definitely be back to try more.

Fantastic Turkish menu. Traditional but innovative menu in a classy "mod" atmosphere. The Saba burger is something special that defines the modern twist the chef adds to classic dishes. And dont forget the pomegranate mint lemonade, it will change your life!

The decor is nice but it's still casual enough where you can just stop in and order to go. We ordered the mushroom hummus, chicken schnitzel pita, and burger pita. It was all delicious! The pita was so soft and fresh and everything was full of flavor. I would definitely eat here again.

Absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh food - such a unique find for this area! The dishes and flavors are unlike anything else nearby. We waited about ten minutes for our food, and it was definitely worth the wait. The family that runs it are wonderful people who clearly care about what they serve and how they treat their guests. Wow, wow, wow!!!! We ordered from Saba tonight and it did NOT disappoint! My husband, Greg, picked up hummus, which was THE.BEST. we've ever had; French fries, delicious, and shaped like a scoop to facilitate loading up on the delicious homemade sauce of your choosing; a chicken schnitzel pita sandwich, nice and spicy, like Greg likes (on the back end); and I had the kebab bowl. The addition of fresh cucumbers and fresh tomatoes was a great compliment to the rice and the delicious kebab. We wanted to order a few of their homemade pastries, but they were sold out! Wound up speaking with the owner, very nice gentleman, and he offered the two remaining pastries for us to try. One was the wild blueberry rugelach and it was fantastic! Not sure what the other pastry is, but it's crescent shaped and has slivered almonds on top. That one's for Greg =) So happy there's such an amazing restaurant that's locally owned nearby. This was the first time we ordered from Sabaand it certainly won't be the last. Oh, and I ordered Turkish coffee. Yummm. This is a great addition to the Poughkeepsie dining scene. With all the big box restaurants along Route 9, it's nice to see local restaurants opening up. I love to support local businesses in the community!
