Consistent sandos every time and pleasant employees to chat with over a beer. Noah and Payton got us in and out close to closing time. Local tap selection was nice, too.

Fast super friendly service! I come here for my salad or sandwich once a week and the staff remembers my name and food I order. Gives it such a nice feeling! And the food is great! Sandwiches have yummy fresh bread, lots of good meat and veggies and the salads are very large, filling and beautifully arranged. I never buy beer there but the beer menu looks really good too!

Was taken here recently and the place was amazing. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great, all on top of probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, couldn't recommend the Baja Chicken more.

5 stars this place has been a great addition to poway! I love the beef dipper with a good beer! Service has always been good, and the locations atmosphere is great! They only have 2 or 3 TVs, so not really a sports bar but great sandwiches with a few solid beers on tap!

Great food, great staff, and great vibes. I eat at Board and Brew at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. Andy, Lauren, and Yustyn are always helpful and will make sure that you are well taken care of. Can't recommend enough!

Great spot for sandwiches, excellent bar area that is usually open to the outside. Can't beat East County for great weather in the winters. Gets a bit busy around lunch, but the people working there handle it well.

My go-to sandwich place. I’ve become a regular not just because of the chicken club, but because of the ambiance and staff. Lauren is awesome and the beer on tap pours into the coldest pint glass you’ve ever seen. This place is a gem.

First time visit as a guest diner with my step-daughter. Ordered their Beef Dip. The portion size and flavor was a welcome surprise! Definitely worth a return visit to try their other sandwiches.

It gets busy during lunch and evening on sports days. It’s a pay first type of place and self serve. Hot sandwiches are “from the grill” category and cold sandwiches are under “speciality”. It’s all in full size sandwiches unless you order from “speciality” then you can get a half. I wish they offered a combo that was half sandwich and half salad. I ended up getting Baja wrap that’s chicken breast with avocado in a Spanish wrap. So moist and soft. The girl said Turkado is the most popular but I didn’t want a cold sandwich. That’s pretty much the same as Baja Wrap except is on sourdough bread and Turkmen vice chicken breast.

Friggin delicious! I got the turkey deluxe combo and some beers since I was with the work bros. The sandwich was tasty filling and pretty unique I thought with the sunflower seeds. The beers were great because they have their glasses chilled so they make that Friday off work beer that much better. 10/10 would come here again for lunch.

This sandwich shop is already an incredible place with consistent delicious food. But today I particularly enjoyed the service. Teya at the bar was so friendly and made my lunch experience remind me why its worth it to go out to eat instead of just making a sandwich at home. This is my go to lunch break spot, I will definitely be back.

I went here for dinner last weekend with a couple of friends and overall it was a solid experience. The place was clean, not too loud, and the staff was friendly without being over the top. Our server took a little time to come back for refills, but it wasn’t a big issue. The food came out warm and looked just like the menu photos, which was nice. I ordered a pasta dish and the flavors were simple but good, nothing fancy but satisfying. Portions were decent for the price. It felt like a comfortable spot you could come back to for a casual meal without thinking too much about it.

Takeout sandwiches were bought. Very good quality food. Taste was excellent. But they do need to be mindful of what they put into the sandwiches as some of them got very soggy. 1st world problem! Staff are friendly enough. Service is reasonable. Would go back for sure.

This is one of those places that is a hit & miss. My favorite sandwich is the Baja chicken 🐔 but unfortunately sometimes I end up with a dry chicken sandwich. So I'd say overall this place is good but a little inconsistent. Atmosphere could be better but I mean because they serve beer they have obnoxious regulars that kind of ruin it if your trying to eat with your family. I like a good beer & I'm not knocking the fact that they serve beer but some people just don't have respect for when there are kids around.

We also ordered a Roast Beef Spicy sandwich and it was delicious too. Love that it came with au jus on the side though it was cold. This chain location was airy and open with a nice outdoor patio area. The service was good too.

This location is incredibly inconsistent. They left the chicken off my green salad today. I'll start checking before I leave the store. The turkado is either overstuffed and perfect or flat and falling apart, it's never the same. Not enough sauces per sandwich generally. I love this restaurant, but this location is in need of some training.

I have been going to Board and Brew for years and have been to all locations. I was super excited they were opening one in Poway. Once concern is at Poway they are putting less chicken on the chicken club sandwich then other locations. Not sure why. I end up with a lot more bread than meat and really only get about 2/3 of a sandwich now. I would like to see them have the same standards.

The girl with brown hair and the blond dude were super sweet. But the blond chick had wiped her nose and had her hands in her mouth and still was touching the napkins honestly just ended up getting a refund due to her still touching my food after I asked if someone else can pack it. I wouldn't mind if she had washed her hands but she didn't. I personally wouldn't touch my face nor mouth well handling someone else food I've worked food service before so I tried to be respectful but in the end of the day you never know if someone had anything contagious....

We come here fairly often. My wife and I like different sandwiches so I would get 1/2 Turkado and she would get 1/2 of the Toms choice. All of a sudden they only do half sandwiches on select items. That’s fine I guess but it doesn’t make any sense in my opinion. Also, the girl that took my order had a bit of an attitude once I questioned the “policy”. The sandwich was pretty good. Review UPDATE: OK, I figured out which sandwiches are available in half size. Ordered a Turkado sandwich today. Sandwich was very good, so I will keep coming back. Young girl that took my order was rude and was rushing me to make a decision despite nobody else in line. She truly did not want to be at work today. That said, I know it’s hard to get good help these days, but I think the store manager should sit down with all employees and explain to them that a positive five minute interaction can make all the difference. No reason to be rude to a customer that wants a minute to review the menu.

Grabbed 2 sandwiches to go. Italian Sub and Roast Beef Spicy. Drove 5 mins up the road and both sandwiches were soggy. Dijon mustard bottle must have exploded on the Roast Beef sandwich. First time here and I'm all about first impression, so I will probably not return to Board and Brew anywhere. However the service was great and the place was clean with a good atmosphere.

After seeing my to-go order hit the counter, I watched and waited as the two kids working the counter finished their “snack” and licked their fingers before bringing me my bag. When I started to say something, the male teen cut me off and repeatedly said “have a nice day” while walking toward me aggressively. I’ve never been treated so rudely in this establishment before, but I am appalled - both at the rudeness and lack of proper food serving behavior. Truly disappointing, Poway Board & Brew.

Terrible Bartender Do NOT Come here if you're colored Sat next to the draft beers waiting 10 minutes while 4 others came after me and were served 1st. I can't believe I'm writing this kind of review but, I'm the onky brown guy there. I've never made a single review about race, but after she poured the 5th beer for someone else infront of me, I decided to leave. I'm being actively ignored and she is pouring the drinks right in front of me!! Unbelievable
