Phenomenal!!! This chicken place is amazing!An like I’m kinda picky. The chicken sliders are big, cranky, juicy. The sauce is great. An the people are always really nice. It’s cool(A/c) inside and has good atmosphere. One of my favorites now. For sure.

The chicken is consistently great. I always get the number 2 with medium spice. Only thing I’d criticize is that the difference between medium and hot is a bit too drastic. Medium isn’t spicy enough and the spicy is a bit too spicy.

Had to give the hot a try. Ordered 2 tender meal w fries and a bonus tender. Was slightly disappointed with the heat of the first tender.... Then the conversation came up and said wait for the second tender.... Then it hit! Sweating! Most excellent! The 2 tender meal is enough of a serving. Saving the bonus tender for breakfast!

Saw this place a lot on social media for years and finally decided to give it a try and it was not a disappointment at all. I had the 1 tender and one slider combo and ordered it as extra hot. I liked it very much. It had a lot of seasoning and a really good kick of heat to it. I will definitely try it again

I have been coming to this Daves for 2 months now since moving to the Richardson area and all I have to say is wow! The staff is very helpful and very accommodating to not just me but other customers as well. Daves hot chicken. Don’t even get me started. you walk in and you instantly get hit by the intense flavor of the hot chicken. The employees at the cashier ready to help you with any of your desires. Such a craving, get it at least knce a month, and it never fails to satisfy. It is also halal and as i am a muslim and most other fried chicken places aren’t halal, this is a very very good restaurant that i always recommend to friends.

Kids like it a lot but not for me. Start regretting my choice every time I end up coming with the kids insisting coming while I am halfway eating it. Not coming back until kids force me next time.

Went for a free slider from the birthday promo so can’t complain really, though I expected extra hot to be hotter (I’m thinking in terms of classic Nashville hot chicken I guess?). I like how the drink counter was customized to be wheelchair accessible.

Service is always great at this location as well as the food. However, I received a small tea with my order that reeked of the smell of rotten eggs (sulphuric) when poured out the entire cup smelled like that. That’s a health risk which is not a good thing.

Combo #2 (Hot) with Cheese is highly recommended, add some honey to their sauce & add some to your awesome chicken sandwich.

I ordered 1 tender (mild. Rating: 4/5) + 1 slider (hot. Rating 4/5). I liked it. I thought it was high on chili powder and wished the chicken was crunchier. Their Mac n Cheese was delicious (Rating: 5/5).

It was good. I had a #4. I took off a star because I had no Dave’s sauce drizzled on my slider nor a side of Dave’s sauce in my container.

Noticed this place while shopping at ALDIs across the street. I usually try fast food places to see what “healthier” options are available. Here I did not see any healthy options, would be nice if they offered some type of grilled chicken fingers options. I went ahead with the 2 chicken fingers and cheese fries option. It was good and well seasoned but a bit greasy and likely high in sodium. If you don’t care about healthy options this place is for you! The food was hot and made to order! The service was great and they were very attentive. If you want something different from CFA or Canes give this place a try.

The mild and medium tenders were great. It was our first time here, and we enjoyed it. The service could have been a little more helpful and attentive.

We frequent Dave's Hot Chicken often and totally enjoy it. Today we decided to try the fried pickles. The batter was very tasty. Unfortunately the amount of pickles we received in our order was disappointing for the $7.99 charge. Additionally the size of the pickles were on average about the size of a quarter. Really! We won't ever order the fried pickles again. Love the sliders, fries, & sauce. though!

First time at Dave’s Hot Chicken on Belt Line in Richardson, and we’ll definitely be back. I ordered breakfast and enjoyed it—flavor was solid, chicken was juicy, and everything was fresh. My wife and son were with me, and both of them liked their food too. That says a lot because my wife is a pretty picky eater, and my son can be the same way. So when they’re both satisfied, that’s a win in my book. The gentleman who handed us our food at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. Great energy. The lady who took our order was professional but could’ve smiled a little more—nothing major, just something that stood out. The restroom was okay. Not spotless, but not bad either. Could use a quick refresh, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The restaurant itself was clean and had a cool vibe. Good music, and the food came out fast. All in all, this spot delivered what we came for—good food, solid service, and a place we’d be happy to visit again. The food is very good, but a little pricey. When I compare the amount of food you get with the price you pay, versus the other popular chicken finger place, not far from here, It was a little surprising. Once I got the food, I understood better. The chicken fingers at Dave’s is more than twice the size of the competitors chicken fingers, so it becomes a wash. Thing is, they’ve got all different levels of spice/heat on these things. I love that. This was my first visit at Dave’s Hot Chicken, and it did not disappoint. I got the number three combo, medium, plus I got an additional two chicken fingers. I’m not a big fan of slaw, especially on a sandwich, so I asked for it on the side. I gave it a try and added some to the sandwich, it’s just not my thing. Perfectly happy with the sandwich/slider without slaw, and it was great. The two additional chicken fingers I got, I got as mild, just in case the medium was a bit too much. The medium was perfectly satisfying without being too hot. The mild was really good as well, but I think I’ll stick with the medium when I come back.

I’m giving this 2 stars for the food and overall 4 stars bc although the chicken was freshly cooked, it did not seem cooked all the way through. There were parts of the meat that were slimy and gray in color, and some of the breading was also slimy and definitely undercooked. The chicken breading was also not crispy at all. I’m not sure if that’s how they should be, but I was expecting crispy fried chicken. The spice levels for medium and extra hot were what I think they should be, but not the spice flavors that taste good to me (which is definitely a personal preference). Overall, we ended up throwing a lot of it away. Also, I did not realize how big the tenders are, and definitely over ordered for 2 people. The fries did not taste fresh and were not hot (had that old, gritty texture). Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Will not be back unfortunately.. just not the flavors I like on chicken, and also prefer crispy breading, not soft and chewy.

No line in drive through and I waited 14 minutes to get my order. 1 chicken sandwich meal. First time eating at this establishment and most likely my last time, way over priced for chicken that isn't that good. Sorry would not recommend.

Chicken was good but too expensive when there are other chicken options nearby. Purchased 2 sliders and fries and bun was soggy and the small amount of fries given were cold. $15 with no drink. Then you are asked for tip on top of that. Get a drink and give a tip, and you are at $20-$25 for one person. This place is busy now due to new location but not competitive, IMO. Time will tell.

The chicken was not bad but the seasoning was too much you cant really taste anything else.

The drive thru, with 6 cars ahead of us, tool 43 mins and they forgot my kaleslaw. I reminded the guy at the window. He went to get it but after 3 mins I said .....that's it and left.

I've ordered macaroni and cheese twice this week for lunch, and both times, on Thursday and today (Saturday), it was burnt. I don't understand how this can happen twice. You should investigate this because it's unpleasant to pay for burnt food.

**1ST TIME EXPERIENCE!!** My kids had heard about this place on social media so we gave it a go. As I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello, and I told the cashier it was my first time that I would need some time to look at the menu, she must have been new since I received no help whatsoever on family meal deals or just in general. I proceeded to get the "HOT BOX sliders" which came with 10 individual-one(1) chicken tender sliders with creamy coleslaw and some honey packets. The cashier also informed me of some cheese fries for my 3 kids and wife that were present at the time. We sat and waited. The manager Jose approaches me and states that the cashier charged me incorrectly on my $91.00 bill fororder and my fries and that I had paid for a single serve and not the box. Personally I feel that I was sold on a deal and it was later retracted. I tell him that I have my kids and wife so of course I need the box. He states "well your going to have to pay for that"... which I do. I get told that on my bank statement it might show the original price of $91 then to wait 3 days for it to void and the other price of $95.65 would appear. This was true. BUT I also noticed a charge of $13 even. ????? I came into the store and showed the manager and she could not find the purchase on her end. I explained that I went directly home which was a 40 min drive and instantly checked my bank account. The $13 fraudulent charge had been charged to my card immediately after I left!! She could not find any history of this order?? So I had to cancel my card and get a new one because of fraud activity at this location. Nothing got resolved between the store and I. The manager Informed me that her director of operations had told her to tell me to "just cancel it on your card".. the food was given too much hype in my opinion and the service I recieved while in the store and while trying to figure out a solution for my money missing, was ridiculous.

Way way over priced for what you get, it was my first time there an I got the #2, two slider combo but you get a small tray of fries which should be loaded in the container and the sliders are 1 tender in each bun. For 16 Dollars and you dont even get a drink when your buying hot flavored chicken is a joke, spend your hard earned money elsewhere, I wont be returning.

If I could rate it a 0 I would, the powder on the tenders are grainy. They didn’t even label the extra hot and medium correctly. And now I understand why there was no one at the store. GUYS PLEASE DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!! Their fries were good.. that’s it. Pickles weren’t even fermented, sad day for a pickle lover. $70 down the drain… We had to cut the chicken and play russian roulette because we were afraid we’d get the super spicy ones (some of us can’t handle spice) and the breadddd OMGGGG don’t get me started. They could’ve AT THE LEAST toasted it because it gets soggy and all nasty and in addition the bread just gives cheap store-bought….

I normally love going to Dave’s and I usually have the best experience but this time around unfortunately I did not get that. I had ordered the cauli bites, and unfortunately got the normal Dave bites, and I didn’t get the extra sauce I asked for as well. I should’ve checked before leaving. I did still like it but I would’ve been happier if I got what I ordered.

My complaint is that today, Saturday, when I stopped by around noon, my macaroni and cheese was burnt. I hope you pay more attention to the preparation of your food so I don't have to pay for something burnt.

Food portions have gone smaller and prices are outrageous for a small slider, before a slider had a decent amount of chicken now it's barely a strip.. This was my last visit thank you

I've got a LARGE milkshake a large and it was posted on their menu as 5.99 but ringed up for 8.59. It tasted freezer burnt and was not even mixed-up. Again its a large thats the same size has a Chipotle medium drink. I HIGHLY do not recommend to go there.

This is my second time trying Dave’s hot chicken. The first time it was ok I was nearby needed lunch and decided to stop by . It was very expensive to end up throwing away my food . I was eating one tender and I kept thinking to myself the chicken was very chewy . So I opened it up and wow ! RAW FLOUR OR I DONT KNOW WHAT! Disgusting. I called and was refunded but was told there was no way what I was saying was true so here is a picture so you can decide. I have a perfect tender on the right and I don’t know what on the left . Stomach pains all that day. Will never come back. The chicken has no flavor just spices . The fries as well not good . It’s SO OVERRATED

Ordered Dave’s #2. Both the tenders were cold and not juicy, it was chewy. After taking 2 bites, when i asked the manager if he could fix it, he said he wont be able to because i had couple of bites. well, without the bites, how would i know if its warm enough and juicy like normally it is. Requested twice but the manager was rude and adamant not to fix it. All other locations are great but this one is going downhill from food quality and customer service standpoint. i dine in frequently and im better off going to irving, mckinney, dallas location than this one.

The food here was unbelievably salty—easily the saltiest meal I’ve ever had. I could barely take two bites of the sandwich and two fries before giving up. When I called the location to ask if this was normal, they actually said it is normal! If you care about your health, avoid this place and its insane amount of salt. Even by looking at the pictures you can see how salty it is
