Little Taco Factory San Antonio Reviews
I heard it was the best Carne Guisada in San Antonio, Texas and it is very delicious 😋 it's the most delicious Carne Guisada we have eaten since moving back to San Antonio in 2022. Thank Y'all 🙏🏾 ❤️🐯 God Bless Y'all 🙏🏾♥️🙌🏾
Family atmosphere and very hospital. You can tell you have your regulars because they address them by their name and customers from around from different businesses by the way they are dressed. Food; I’ve only had breakfast so far and the first time I ordered six different tacos and all of them were delicious. My favorite is the Denver taco and I add potatoes with salsa verde. You talk about homemade tortillas, these are homemade tortillas like my grandmother’s. Looking forward to trying their lunch, my coworkers really enjoy the enchiladas.
Mannnnnnnn....never had a disappointing taco from here. Had carne guisada , tortilla was fresh , carne was soft and delicious. Mmm
Gaahhhh Dayum!! I got a papas con chorizo and carne guisada and maaaan they did not disappoint. Might’ve found my taco spot! 👌🏼
Good food love going there best crispy tacos n enchiladas.n breakfast plates
This is my favorite place to go it, I love this place. These people treat you like family. I've been going since I was i little kid. Food is delicious.
The guisada is great as is the chorizo and egg tacos. But the ophelias special beef enchiladas are the best I've ever eaten .and I love that govt cheese! Iykyk
It's not a very big place but the food is really good. They have great carne guisada. The gravy was just right and the meat was tender. I like cheese and a little bit of lemon juice on mine. Yum!
I got a potato & egg and a bean & cheese taco to go. The restaurant was very busy when I arrived. The line moved quickly and the person who took my order was friendly and efficient. I only waited a couple of minutes for my tacos. They were delicious and the salsa was tasty and spicy. There are a few tables to sit at inside. This was a great experience. Next time I'll eat inside and bring my kids.

There's taco places, ... and there is.. LITTLE TACO FACTORY.. This little hidden gem just a few lights from downtown, has the BEST TACOS and Salsa I've had in SAN ANTONIO yet. The Picadillo Plate was the best. They're rice and beans are so authentic they have ruined all others for me. Sorry Taco Bell. Be sure to get there early! Only open from 7 to 2!! Don't get me started on the homemade tortillas either!
Ate here for the first time, walked over from the Methodist hospital. Good place to eat, about a 3 minute walk. Enchiladas were good, reminded me of Browns on Hackberry that closed years ago. The carne guisada was very tender, and had good flavor. Food came out super quick despite them being busy. Plates were affordable.. decent prices on everything. Very cheap a la carte items..
Carne guisada was so delicious the meat is tender, very flavorful. Homemade tortillas. I totally recommend it. I will be back soon!
This is the 4th place on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. Tiny place but we got lucky and got seats right away. Ordered a bean and cheese taco and a bacon, egg, potato and cheese. While both were good, we've had better so far. 3.9 of 5 for the tacos. Now the cheese enchiladas are a completely different story. They are like that! They remind me of enchiladas i grew up on and loved from a restaurant that no longer exists. 4.8 of 5 will definitely return to try the carne guisada
Be prepared, best to come when not busy, very limited parking and small inside so just a few tables. This is an “order at the counter as you enter then sit down” type of place. Nice menu, oddly only cheese or beef enchiladas (no chicken listed). Pay attention, they don’t track who ordered what is sitting where, so someone carrying food just walks out and calls out the order. As to the brekkie tacos, they were ok. Thick tortillas, a bit hard. Carne guisada soft and tasted good, gravy a bit thin. Potato and egg really dry. Chorizo and bean was basically chorizo. Overall ok, but nothing special or memorable, so probably won’t return unless visiting a nearby hospital.
They do have some of the best enchiladas I have ever had. Staff was great, food came out hot and delicious. The flour tortillas were awesome. People want to go were locals go to eat great food this is it. Just great food no hype needed, alot of workers eat here. They have very nice servings, yes.I love the enchiladas, if I didn't say that enough. Try it out, it is alot better then some of the places that are alot of hype, but same as your local Mexican places in your town. Disclaimer your local restaurant might provide great food and atmosphere, so this place will either be like home or better.
Ordered two tacos and a coffee: Chorizo & Egg and a Bean, Bacon & Cheese $9.70+$2.00 tip=$11.70 and you pay at the counter where you also order. Unfortunately, I’ll not be going back. So many Mexican food spots with amazing tortillas here in downtown McCullough area and unfortunately these tortillas were a thumbs down. They were dry and hard. Southsiders call these kind of tortillas “Changos” which are tortillas from the day before, re-heated. Maybe they weren’t, but that’s exactly what it tasted like. Sorry, they just weren’t worth the cheat or the money. Also, the Chorizo and Egg was TERRIBLY dry, then the Chango, gracias but no thank you. I left that one in the basket. Bean, bacon and cheese were good and also the coffee- just not the tortilla. Nice people, though. Just need to improve the tortillas and dry eggs to beat the competition. Good luck!
Food was great staff was very nice but it was a little pricey. Ordered there enchilada special at .$10 and some change but that was the regular price of the enchiladas plate and came with a small drink and charged me a $1 to make my drink a large. Atmosphere is good but it's to pricey and specials are not specials. There regular price plates.
It’s tough to review breakfast tacos in San Antonio, because the average taco is so good here. Our usual breakfast tacos are either Garcia’s or Con Huevos, so we are a little spoiled. She had potato and egg tacos. They were the big loser, sadly. Eggs dry and overcooked, and residual taste of chorizo which did not work for her. I had a carne guisada, a chorizo and egg, and a bacon and egg. The tortillas were fluffy and nice, but the eggs were also overcooked. The bacon was brittle crispy, not my preference. The glaze on the carne guisada wasn’t great, oily and thick rather than savory and meaty. The coffee wasn’t bad and the salsas were good. The staff were friendly. Looks like a legit place, and it is, but between the overcooked eggs and the meat flavor on a veggie item, it was just average. We won’t be back. But if this place was in NYC? It would be 5-stars for sure. Just not in the breakfast taco capitol of the USA.
