It’s got this great 80s moody vibe with great lighting and a subtle haze (I think because of a fog machine?), a DJ playing records, and a small dance area. But the best part is everyone in there is dressed really creatively (and well) as if it’s Brooklyn all of a sudden, and all they serve is natural wines so it feels like a grown up hang out spot rather that one you’d get wasted drinking tequila shots in.

My favorite bar in SF. Ask the staff at the bar and they will find you a bottle you like. This is such a unique natural wine bar that is not serious or fancy but is fun, playful, and chill. It starts getting busy after 7 ish so get there early if you want to grab a table and have a chat with your friends over a glass or bottle of wine. If you’re down for some music, maybe dancing, and funky vibes, go there after 9pm on Thurs-Sat. Check out their IG for rotating weekly events. And it’s a known secret that their merch is super cute (and they sell out fast).

Amazing staff, vibe and vinyl dj! A place you can order a bottle of chilled red wine and dance under a massive disco ball is my kind of place.

This place is so great. It is one of the few that get me to dance. The music is always great and the vibe is always there. The disco ball is cool

Unique dance and wine spot. Thoughtfully curated with a solid rotation of DJ’s local and worldwide (but mainly of the Americas?). The natural wines I am not sure are better tasting or worse than regular wine as I’m not well versed in that world. But from what I had, they were floral, fresh, and tasty. The beer isn’t bad either but limited selection. Just cans from what I remember. The dance floor is cute and small, with a solid disco ball. Check out their frequently updated SoundCloud for a taste of what the dj’s will play. It’s geared to more vintage house-y akin to a lot of cool European hole in the walls. They achieved that!

Wine bar with a DJ set up. Very chill. No food, some beer, mostly wine.

A little slice of bushwick in SF. Always great DJs every time and immaculate vibes especially after 10:30 when the disco ball starts spinning. No cocktails - natural wine and beer only.

Yes, it’ll be crowded when it gets late and the music is good. Natural Wine, Petillant Naturel, Methode Ancestral; whatever you want to classify it as, is NOT NEW as some of the earlier uninitiated reviewers would like you to believe, but like all GOOD trends is having it’s moment in the spotlight. Pull up with some friends, or solo, grab a bottle and some glasses and get to grooving. If you dance enough you might just forget that this a nightlife spot after all and all that really matters is if you like the vibe, it’ll be a consistent good time.

Easy spot for a solo glass of wine or share a bottle with friends. Call ahead if you’re bringing a group and they’ll hook you up!

Can't say much about the wine cause I didn't get any, but the vibes were great. Very foggy though, they could stand to turn that down a bit

Definitely my favorite bar in all of San Francisco. I got invited to listen to a DJ set and no cap, it felt like I was walking into a club from Cyberpunk 2077. The low light atmosphere, the old timey bar light fixtures, the disco ball, the fog, and last but not least the vibes will be immaculate if you got a good Dj. They will be seeing me again fs

$10 cover on weekends (11pm). Packed beyond belief. Is it fun? Yeah, great music too. It gets hot in there (11pm). Tons of late college / post grads hanging out around here. SO SO SO many cigarettes, didn't know that was the new thing. Performative males exist here. Vibes immaculate (11pm). Oh, the line around the corner is kinda insane (11pm). Bathroom line about 20-30 mins for 2 bathrooms. Not ideal, but like, you go to simply be there and exist.

Had a blast on the dance floor! Great wine selection. Staff were very kind, even during peak demand. Will definitely return for more dancing antics.

Fun vibe good wine good music. Always a ridiculously long bathroom line that bleeds into the dance floor. Also it can get sooo stuffy and hot in there better ventilation or at least some fans seriously needs to be considered. The fog machine just makes the space seem mustier than it already is

When I saw people leave one after the other tonight Saturday night I should’ve known the place probably wasn’t very fun. The music was old disco music I left in 5mins. $10 cover wasted, but could’ve been worse.

Live in the area and always see a line around the block for the place so thought I'd check it out. Maybe I went on an off night? Very small selection of wine & beer. I only had beer but it was genuinely bad, which is rare. The place doesn't know if it's a wine bar or dance club so it's not great at either. Too crowded and loud and not enough seating to be a wine bar. For a dance club, the music is odd, I can best describe it as slow & sad/moody retro/disco. Not really danceable, although some folks were trying. Ridiculously hot, sticky, & dank on the dance floor. No A/C or ventilation. Crowd skews younger; vibe is serious, few to no smiles, no one looked like they were having fun. Genuinely confused as to the appeal. I get that younger folks maybe haven't yet figured out what makes a good & fun bar but even taking that into account, this is a tough one.

The guy working the door (Sal) was incredibly abrasive and rude to my friends. He ruined the energy for the whole night and ultimately realized he was in the wrong, offering a friend free entry for the fact he had yelled at her for no reason. I will NEVER return here and give this place business. The music is bad and not conducive to fun or dancing.

Saturday night. Friend wanted to check out this bar because it’s highly rated apparently. Show up, there’s a line to the corner, kids (21ish) in front and behind us. Girls in the front are sharing a cigarette. It looks packed inside, like is moving slow, and they’re charging a $10 cover. We decide to go somewhere else. Perhaps this place skews younger but being packed in like sardines with kids smelling weird sounds like a terrible night out to me. We went to a different bar instead.

Bar Part Time is pure hype with zero delivery. For the outrageous cover they charge, you’d expect a real party — but instead, you get crammed into a tiny, overheated space with barely any room to dance. Drinks are insanely overpriced, and the sound system is so weak and tinny you can hear people’s conversations louder than the actual music. At one point, I spoke with someone who summed it up perfectly: "At least there are hot girls." When "good-looking people" is the only positive anyone can find, you know the place is failing. If they’re going to keep charging premium prices, the bare minimum would be expanding the space and investing in a sound system that doesn't sound like a busted Bluetooth speaker. Save your time, money, and expectations.
