Five Guys Sand City Reviews
It's Five Guys! Big burgers, with your choice of toppings, and epic fries. They always give you extra fries, and the Cajun flavored ones are the best! The burgers aren't cheap, and a bit on the greasy side, but sometimes a big ol' greasy burger is just what you want, right? This location also has shakes - the bacon caramel is recommended. Also, here's a little secret : if your burger already comes with cheese or bacon, you can ask for extra for free! Try it!
Very good Burger. Juicy and tasty. Presentation could be better (see Picture)

My fiancé and I had such a pleasant visit today! Diana and Ryan were so sweet and fast! My Cajun style fries were perfect!
Clean store, greeted when we walked in and not rushed to order. The double cheese burger was superb and the large fries were hot and tasty. I mention large fries because I ate the fries in the large cup and when I looked in the bag, I think they threw in another order if fries since I am such a nice guy 👦 Turns out they do this with everyone. The store has the serve yourself soda machine and awesome plastic straws! Those recycled toilet paper straws ruin drinks and meals. Great overall experience.
I ordered the infamous Hamburdog! Bacon double cheese burger with all my favorite toppings and a hot dog at the top of the pile! The chef did a great job, and the employees were very courteous. The restaurant was clean and the food was fantastic. All of the employees gave me a good vibe and made the experience fun. I also ordered a large Cajun fries and a strawberry shake 😋
Absolutely loved everything about our experience today at five guys. We could smell the burgers from across the parking lot. When we came in we were greeted and the gentleman that helped us was really nice. He recommended the bacon cheeseburger and was really patient with us. The food was well made and packaged neatly. During the time we were there the entire staff were greeting people and trying to keep their work stations clean. Super impressed!
Excellent burger! They have improved their buns: the last time couple of times I ate there, the buns were soggy. But this time it was a wonderful experience. The fries are always a winner...and I don't eat a lot of fries. Eating here is a bit pricey for a burger...but worth it! Enjoy!

Best service ever! They are so nice and the burger was amazing 😻 I wish I lived closer so I can come here more often.

Well not too excited about their bacon burgers. Bacon was wispy, it really ought to be crispy with some actual meat. Their fries were a little over cooked, but the give you plenty to munch on.
Burgers and fries are awesome but kinda pricey I paid $16.21 just for a burger and fries no drink just a complementary water cup.

Haven't been to 5 Guys in over 5 years This was the second time and as usual, way overpriced, and my Salted Caramel Shake was nothing but a marginal Vanilla shake. The fries were overly greasy, limp and not really flavorful. The burger was okay, and I've had better burgers, elsewhere. Not a place to take a large family, hopefully 5 Guys has a loan dept for financing their meals.

Overall kind of mediocre. I ordered a grilled cheese which was done on hamburger buns and sliced American cheese. Poorly melted and kind of greasy. Fries were kind of soft without any crunch.
I was greeted by very friendly, young, attentive employees. Store was very clean and appropriate signs posted for the Pandemic. Cheeseburger and fries took about an 8 minute wait. Food was a little greasy and sloppy. Fries are the type with skin on them; I'm not crazy about those kind, especially when they're limp and a little too salty. They didn't mind if I paid with cash or card... A lot of stores make a big deal out of that. Food wasn't THAT bad. I'll try it again just because of the great/cheerful customer service.
The bottom bun was soaked but they gave me another one no charge. Shouldn't have served it that way in the first place. I also asked for a cardboard tray like the one on the table with another client. Wanted it for my ketchup for my fries since there's no plastic trays, just a paper bag and the table. Kid working said he didn't have any and didn't know where she got it. Well they're next to the front door with the peanuts!! The client showed me. Pretty pricey for messy hamburger you eat off the table. Won't be back
Got a take away order; just a little cheeseburger and cajun fries. After many years of great Five Guys on two different continents, my first US Five Guys experience was deeply underwhelming. Service was quick and friendly. However, the burger was smashed to hell and had big gaps in the patty. Five Guys isn't even a smashburger joint, but if they were, they would be doing it wrong. I also did not order pickles on my burger, as I dislike them intensely. They piled the pickles on, which I didn't discover until 20 minutes later, as I drove home and then ate. By then, the burger was properly polluted. The fries were well-seasoned but floppy. Not a bit of crisp to them, which is why I loved their fries so much in the first place. I find it curious that reviews mention the fry issue frequently, but clearly that doesn't change. For $18 I really expect more.

Food was great but the guy who served us charged me for water while he gave my friends free caps for water.

Tasty but $20 for a little (1/4lb) bacon cheeseburger, small fries, and coke is too much. It's actually the same as I pay at my favorite silicon Valley burger restaurant for a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger. This spot needed better cleaning. Employees were helpful, friendly, and working hard but there may have been 2 or 3 guys/gals certainly not 5, and so they did not have time to clean properly. Corporate Five Guys, please stop being greedy. Lines are too long at In-And-Out and it's making me sad.
I love the fries here but not huge fan of the burgers. I find them greasy. However that’s not why I’m rating this place a two stars. I know many people love the food menu here. My issue is with the workers. I don’t expect a white linen service but I do expect some common sense. There were five people working and taking. I only ordered a large fries and was given number 76. As I sat and waited for my order, I noticed they called number 71. The orders before me had multiple items. I saw many fries sitting Ana waiting for the burgers or whatever else to get cooked, yet they made me wait till my sequential number turn came up. Common sense will tell you that small single items can be processed quickly. Ok while I waited a good 15 minutes for this fries, I totally expected it cooked to perfection, but instead I got some semi cooked fries that were mushy and limp. What on earth is going on? Don’t these guys get trained to wait till the fryer’s timer goes off?? I thought they at least got some training. If you make people wait at least make sure the food is done right.

The most deceitful restaurant I’ve been to. The menu is extremely tricky with the item “hamburger” as one that pisses me off. I ordered the “hamburger” thinking it’s the first item and shouldn’t be expensive and should be basic. Well for my 12 year old daughter, wife, and I, the bill came to $60.23! I learned after I took my first bite that this hamburger was 2 patties. I didn’t order this thing fancy as the cashier was offering the works. I just wanted my hamburger the old fashioned way, buns, lettuce, patty, mustard, raw onions, and mayonnaise. My wife ordered the same and my daughter ordered a plain hotdog just dog and buns with a milkshake. We did order 1 medium fountain drink. When she rang up the total I asked the cashier why it was so expensive. She just said all items are listed and they don’t offer a combo meal. She could’ve told me that the hamburger was a double patty for starters. VERY DECEITFUL MENU!!!
We've always loved Five Guys Bugers & have never had a bad experience or anything wrong with our food. We've been to quite a few from coast to coast! But tonight when I opened my lettuce wrapped burger, a sticker was melted into my food :( pretty disappointing...I understand they were pretty busy but PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOOD YOURE SENDING OUT THE DOOR!!
Ordered a sandwich through Ubereats, received a completely raw meat inside. Manager refused to send me another sandwich. I was told that I have to pay for uber again to receive my sandwich.
