Got together with our family while they were in town (5 adults and 7 kids) and emailed their large party and events folks just to see if they might accommodate us. Liz, their managing partner got back to us in just a few hours for an early dinner that night, which was perfect because we also got to order things from the “fancy hour” (happy hour) menu. I enjoy coming here because we can get coffee AND cocktails; even hot cocoa for the kids. Emily, our server was delightful and all the staff were lovely.

Great place to meet and catch up, or discuss business, or just sit and eat. It's cozy and comfy and spacious at the same time. I recommend it and will be back. The building is old Seattle brick with a great updated build out, so the charm is everywhere. Very cool spot.

Delicious brunch, great array of dishes, wonderful customer service, gendered bathrooms (with code). Arrived Friday at 2:30pm, with a party of 3, and we’re sat immediately. Friendly, attentive, and quick service. Dishes were tasty.

(시애틀 원픽) My first trip to Seattle! I got an Americano and tiramisu, and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. amazing🫶 It’s not on the menu, but just ask and they’ll tell you. Loved the extra lemon syrup(?) they gave me. Perfect experience! 💓 thank you!

Oddfellows Café has an authentic and original ambiance. It has a cool vibe, a menu that suits a variety of tastes, and drinks that are appealing and creative. A great spot for meeting friends or a date night.

I absolutely love Oddfellows for Sunday brunch. You arrive, add your name to the waitlist, go next door to browse books at Elliott Bay while you wait for your name to be called. And then, sit down and enjoy a nice big serving of (in my case) amazing “Biscuits and Gravy.” The gravy had a lot of sausage in it which surprised me! I’ve had plenty of biscuit and gravy entrees that skimped on the sausage. Not here! Their scrambled eggs had cheese and fresh herbs mixed in, their salad was tender and well dressed, the side of bacon was perfectly crispy and the hot chocolate delicious without being cloyingly sweet like a lot of hot chocolate these days. The biscuit was light and delicious and massive. I couldn’t finish everything. Definitely headed back ASAP. What a delight and a treat!

A stop for brunch at Oddfellows was worth the wait. The stuffed French toast was a fabulous balance of sweet & savory and the overall vibe was delightful.

What I thought was going to be a quiet cozy spot was actually a very large cafe space. Oddfellows Cafe was packed when I arrived but I didn’t have to wait too long for a seat. I tried the cold brew coffee which was light and refreshing and not overly bitter. I also had the Biscuits & Eggs which was good but not outstanding. The biscuits tasted like scone and it came with scrambled eggs and a side salad. I did see others have the Hash and Eggs Benedict which I thought looked pretty good. All in all, I like this cafe, though it’s crowded and noisy, it’s still charming and it’s great fun to see everyone out and having a good time.

An absolute yes for breakfast or brunch. No reservation, waited for 30 mins. Ordered a lentil and something salad bowl (I don’t remember what the something was) and a Ham Benedict. I loved it all! We asked for a backyard sitting area. It was a bit hot (July) but it was pleasant to sit in that nook. Might be too tight if you like to have your space. The service was top notch: super friendly and helpful. Will go back.

Still curious about coffee stains on the ceiling, but, this place rocks. Pleasant staff with serious skills. The kitchen can rock and roll, too. Outdoor sidewalk tables, back yard space, a short bar and a slew of tables. Decent menu, though like many places I find the dressing on their greens a tad heavily applied. Often a slew of bakery offerings, they make some of the better biscuits (IMO) in the city. Decent espresso and an worthy slate of cocktails, and ad-hoc cocktailing skills. One of our fav-o go-to brunch spots, as Cap Hill tends to wake up after 10:30. I just wish parking were easier, or they were closer to home. Busier at 10:00 a.m. than I have ever seen it. Might be cool temps on an August morning. And... a dancing pot.

Such a perfect brunch spot with amazing vibes! The atmosphere is chill and stylish! Great for catching up with friends or just enjoying a slow morning. The food is solid, but the latte really stood out! Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of foam. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to for a weekend treat.

The avocado toast was a revelation. Creamy avocado spread on perfectly toasted bread, topped with a sprinkle of Tajin for that delightful sweet and salty twist. It was a flavor explosion in every bite! The baked eggs were cooked to perfection, with a runny yolk that oozed out as I cut into them. Paired with grilled bread, it was a comforting and satisfying combination. Mango Iced Tea was refreshingly fruity, and the hint of mango added a tropical flair. Someone at Atelier next door recommended this place and he didn’t miss. I loved the vibe and decor of the interior. Very comfortable and casual, and being in the heart of Capitol Hill it’s very hip.

Based on the dish that I ordered and the quality of ingredients, the food here was delicious. It was cooked very well and a very nice combination of ingredients that complimented each other. Although I did also try my friend’s dish and the avocado toast did not inspire me, but they enjoyed it nevertheless. So that was likely based on personal preferences. I would love to come back here and try their sweet dishes. Please note that this place is frequently packed on weekends and making a reservation ahead of time is recommended. Service is good and very nice decor, it does get pretty loud inside and there is not much space between tables.

Amazing brunch spot! The Ricotta & Apricot toast was seriously delicious. We even grabbed some food to go after eating. The vibe is so nice and cozy, and the staff are all super friendly and kind. Totally recommend this place, can’t wait to come back.

This brunch place is absolutely amazing! The Matcha Martini made with oat milk is delightful and refreshing. And the Shakshouka I had there is the best I’ve ever had in Seattle!

I loved this place! Is great for breakfast and brunch. I ordered the baked eggs and a cappuccino and they were super delicious! The service was great, she was constantly asking about what we needed. And now something great is that you can eat outside the restaurant if you want to avoid closed spaces.

Love the aesthetic. Good food options & staff super friendly! Recommend making reservations - it's a hot spot. Ordered the lavender rose lemonade (liked the syrup (would take more lol). For brunch had eggs Benedict with mushrooms. Enjoyed it, would try something else next time. Serviced very quickly too!

Came here for brunch on Thanksgiving Day and I was seated quickly at the bar. Would’ve been better at a table, but I was grateful since I didn’t have reservations. Everything was delicious and prompt. The ham was seared and it was the best I’ve had in a long time.

Came on a Monday morning for breakfast, place wasn’t crowded at all. We had the salmon eggs Benedict and the avocado toast and both were amazing, recommend for sure. Portions were big. Coffee was fun, the banana bread latte literally tastes exactly like banana bread!

Stopped in around 1pm thinking we'd miss thr lunch rush... which we did, but it was still quite busy. Brunch is served till 3pm, which was great to find out. I had the BLAT with fries and my friend had mac n cheese. We both really liked our meals, but what made us REALLY happy were the beignets! We split an order for dessert (they are part of the brunch menu, I think). Omg sooo good! They were mini-beignets with powedered sugar and a little bit of salt sprinkled on as well. They came with delicious strawberry jam, but we decided we liked the beignets better without the jam. We'll definitely be coming back!!

I love this Seattle classic! ☕ Oddfellows Café + Bar is my go-to when I want variety and vibe in one space. The welcome isn’t always warm, but the service is decent and the staff keep things moving. The real win? The food. 🥑 My favorite is the Avocado Toast for breakfast—simple, fresh, and always satisfying. Even though I’m not a coffee drinker, their baristas make excellent coffees, teas, and craft cocktails that hit every mood. 🌿 It’s well-lit, modern, and spacious—perfect for brunch, laptop workdays, or relaxed catch-ups. A solid Capitol Hill favorite that never feels too crowded to enjoy. 📍 Oddfellows Café + Bar — Capitol Hill, Seattle #OddfellowsCafe #SeattleEats #CapitolHillSeattle #SeattleBrunch #SeattleCoffee #SeattleRestaurants #BrunchVibes #FoodieSeattle #CafeCulture #BreakfastGoals #AmadoToast #SeattleInfluencer #EatLocalSeattle #PNWFoodies #CoffeeAndCocktails #FoodLoversSeattle

Came here for lunch, I think their breakfast items are more popular here. I had fish and chips and a friend of mine had the Mac and Cheese. Not the best, but B-. It’s not bad though!

Staff were kind but weren’t satisfied with the food. It could’ve been that I didn’t order the right dishes. The grain bowl with steak was disappointing. I would have liked it more id carrots were cooked. Avocado was nice and creamy but small in portion. The steak was dry when we asked for medium rare. Arugula has some yellow green parts - not so fresh. The Brussels sprouts were also a little bit too salty and garlicky. If I go back, I will try the brunch menu.

The brunch was lovely however the Mac and cheese pasta was really overcooked. Hopefully just an off batch because the place is really lovely inside and would love to try more of their menu.

I visited this place recently. It was a bit crowded when I arrived, but I was still able to find a table easily. The service was great, the staff was attentive and kind. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, probably because it’s popular with groups. I went alone to do some work on my laptop, and while it’s not the quietest environment, it’s still a decent spot for that. I ordered a latte and a salad. The salad was okay nothing special, but it did the job. I get the sense that this place is more focused on brunch and group gatherings. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I might give it another try sometime.

Here’s a draft for your Google review: Decided to try this spot for breakfast. The biscuit was a bit dry, though the gravy had good flavor. The toast was unfortunately a bit too salty for our taste. Seating felt a little cramped, as the tables are set close together, making it hard to feel comfortable. We ordered two breakfast plates and a cold brew, which came to $68 before tip—over $80 total with tip, which felt steep for a simple breakfast. Overall, the experience was okay, but I think there’s room for improvement. Giving it 4 stars.

Very aesthetic cafe, exposed brick with rustic wooden interior. Great selection of food for both breakfast and lunch. We barely got a reservation at 9am. Baked coho benedict and ricotta apricot brioche was great!

Oddfellows Cafe and Bar has top-notch ambiance and atmosphere—definitely a beautiful and cozy spot. However, I didn’t really enjoy what I ordered. I had the scrambled eggs and biscuit, which the barista said was a bestseller, but personally, I didn’t find it impressive. On the bright side, the coffee was good! They offer a wide variety of coffee, other drinks (including liquor), and juices. The prices are reasonable and not very expensive, especially considering it’s in Seattle. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out, but next time I would probably try a different item from the menu.

I went here with my mom for a brunch date before doing some shopping after hearing rave reviews, and so I was very excited. At 9:00am on a Saturday, we were able to be seated immediately. My mom ordered the baked eggs and a drip coffee, and I ordered a mushroom and zucchini hash and a brown sugar latte with oat milk (the hash on the waitress’s recommendation.) The waitress clearly knew her stuff - my hash was delicious and the best thing we ordered, though the taste of lemon in the sauce was the strongest flavor and a bit overwhelming. On the other hand, my mom’s baked eggs were incredibly bland - the menu described them as containing leeks but absolutely no leek flavor came through. The white sauce used was also flavorless. As for the coffees, my latte tasted a little sour, which is surprising for a sweetened drink. The vibe of the place is fun, and the outdoor seating looks great for a non-windy and cold day. The staff were friendly. The prices were a bit high, and the portions were too big for me to finish. I rather pay less and be able to eat all my food instead of bringing home leftovers that may or may not reheat well. Overall, I’m left with a somewhat positive impression, but not one that lives up to the hype I hear about this place.

Food was great. Strongly recommend the stuffed french toast if you're into sweet breakfast / brunch.

Not sure from where I should start but let see. I think from good to bad. Atmosphere is perfect, sunny day on the patio with a good weather is always making your food a little better for sure but even with it it’s a shaky 4/5 for food. We ordered Sausage Breakfast Sandwich which was super regular and it’s better to skip it, low on spices and flavors but potato was baked good and we ordered Chorizo & Yukon Potato Hash which was really good as for me, having all the spices which I was missing in the previous dish but my gf said that she don’t like it. And finally to the service, from hard 5/5 it went to strong 3/5 by the end, unfortunately. Our waiter was friendly, smiling and helpful but on the other hand she always was no on time, we were waiting for the menu/check/extra coffee/everything for 10+ minutes and only food was given very quick. Als no one except your waiter is interested in you and you can see it fully. You can sit and wait for 5-10 minutes for any action and all waiters will skip you, no team work at all( Just to sum it up I can say that you will not miss anything if you’d decide not to go but once you there - you will spend you time good anyway even not looking on their minuses.

Some tasty and some average items on the menu. Quite busy most days with a long wait time. I’ve had unpleasant experiences with the servers a few times regarding my seating preferences or wait time to receive the food/the check. Favorite item ATM is the leek cream eggs served in a cast iron skillet. Cantaloupe juice is also great.

What a fun, airy space! Great for either a cafe experience (with friends or a laptop) or a nice meal. Particularly enjoyed the roasted veggie sandwich, and the non alcoholic wine mocktail from the “fancy hour” menu (4-6pm). Well then, WHY the three stars? That would be for the dishonest 5% added charge “for the business” and the incorrect tip calculation. The menu states there is a 5% charge on all food items due to rising costs—as one of my servers said in a chat with me, the owner doesn’t want to have a coffee drink listed for $12, because it seems like a lot. It does! But here’s the catch: THAT’S WHAT IT COSTS! And if you can’t justify your food or drink being worth what you charge for it, you need to rethink what you’re doing. To be clear: I would’ve paid the real amount if it had been listed up-front. As for the tip calculation, I get peeved when the tip suggestions are calculated including tax. Tax was not part of the meal—if I want to tip more than 20% on the meal, I will! Both of these are disrespectful of the people who want to visit. Future folks, please let me know if these are fixed and I’ll happily give a full five stars. **As a note: I had a lovely experience with Jason and another server (didn’t catch your name). I tipped them both the 20% on everything because they were very helpful—thank you!

I got the Spinach salad, but made the mistake of not ordering the dressing on the side. Though the salad was tasty, it was drenched in so much vinaigrette that it wasn’t as good as it could have been. When I asked for some bread to help sop up some of the dressing, I was brought a half loaf of bread and told they didn’t have just a slice of bread (even though the guy at the table next to me had 2 baguette slices with his mussels). I accepted the bread, which I had to pay for, and told the waiter that they may want to consider offering a couple slices of bread with the $21 salad in the future. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, they add a 5% “service fee” in addition to the taxes. It makes you feel like they’re just nickel and diming you to death with all this little crap. It’s just not very classy.

They modified the baked eggs! I'm terribly sad because these eggs were so good! They used to have tomato but they modified them completely. I hope they make them the same way they used to because it was the major reason I went there. Service was good, and the eggs Benedict were quite tasty, but I really hope they make the baked eggs as they did a few years ago with tomato

T

The atmosphere was really nice, but maybe because it was a busy day and the restaurant seemed full, it took quite a while for someone to come over and take our order. We had the French onion soup, the vegetarian sandwich, and the lavender chamomile latte. To me, the latte just tasted like regular coffee with milk :/ I was hoping for a stronger lavender flavor but couldn’t really taste the chamomile or lavender. The sandwich was tasty, and I think it would’ve been great to have a bit more bread to go with the soup, as it was a little salty on its own. So here’s a tip if you’re planning to order the onion soup: ask for extra bread! The server who helped us was kind and attentive.

Weird vibes from the staff about not wanting to sit directly next to someone when the place was empty. The fries came with a puddle of oil at the bottom and under cooked. Asked 3 times if there was garlic in my meal and they insisted there wasn’t, pretty sure it was in the eggs, my stomach hurts. Either that or the oily fries. Overall there are much better places to eat in cap hill, skip this place.

Look at this beautiful backyard! I was so excited sitting here but unfortunately food was not very satisfactory. I ordered green shakshouka and it was unexpectedly spicy — there was no mention about this in the menu. Also, the flavor was bland except strong tartness from overused goat cheese and spiciness from jalapeños (there was no indication about jalapeño in the menu, either). Shakshouka used to be my favorite brunch menu and I wondered how this “green” version of twist would work, but simply, I could hardly say it was a tasty meal! I really wish it was. Yet, the lovely atmosphere was that I was longing for — Always wanted to have breakfast here early weekend morning. Removed it from my bucket list! Probably next time I should try something else and keep my fingers crossed.

TLDR; Overpriced and average food in a really nice environment. I’ve been to Oddfellows a few times and every time I hope it’ll get better, but tragically it has remained average in my opinion. Most recently, we went in for breakfast (without reservations) and got a table right away. We ordered the French toast with compote along with an egg sandwich and a cappuccino + iced mocha. The French toast was truly average. The compote was incredibly tart and so excessive that any other flavor got masked entirely, the bread was nothing special either. Paying close to $20 for that portion size seemed quite unreasonable. The cappuccino was far too bitter for my taste, but on the other hand the mocha was perfect and not too sweet at all. The egg sandwich was fairly decent too. I don’t think if I’ll be giving this place a shot again.

S

Had the roasted veggie sandwich and matcha martini, really enjoyed both. Echoing a few other reviewers - food, service, vibe, menu were great. The 5% surcharge was NOT. They’re basically printing deceptive prices to appear cheaper while still recovering part of the revenue as a surcharge disguised to “cover livable wage costs” or something. I am all for treating your employees well and paying them fairly, but I also want to be able to estimate what my bill might be when I’m ordering and before paying. The surcharge is also added BEFORE tax and tip. Why am I tipping including the surcharge? Food was great, but I won’t be going back.

F

Nice place nice food but they sure need to do something about their toast and muffins. Comes with a steak knife but even that was not good enough to cut through rock hard bread…. When paying $170+ for a brunch for four (no alcohol, just coffee and tea), I expect better. Much better.

I came in for my 21st birthday brunch with my fiancée and had mixed feelings about the experience. When we arrived, our server seemed snappy and was chewing gum very aggressively, which felt unprofessional and immediately set an uncomfortable tone. She asked what we wanted to drink, and when I asked about a latte, she abruptly said they don’t have that anymore and then immediately asked what we wanted for food, which felt rushed and dismissive. We ordered and the food itself was decent. I didn’t love my dish, but it was okay and I still told her it was good out of respect. My fiancée absolutely loved his meal — the biscuit and gravy was delicious, and the fries with garlic aioli were amazing. The coffee was also really good. Toward the end, things felt awkward and disappointing. There was a surcharge added to our bill, which I thought might have included the tip, so we didn’t leave an additional one. As we were leaving, our server gave us a death stare, which made the situation uncomfortable. She also brought me a to-go cup for my coffee, but when I started to pour it myself she quickly took over and seemed annoyed. Throughout the meal, I also noticed her looking over and talking to her coworker, which made me feel self-conscious, especially on my birthday. I truly hope we didn’t offend her in any way — we were kind, polite, and tried to make small talk. Unfortunately, the service made what should have been a special birthday brunch feel awkward and disappointing. The food had some great highlights, but the service really affected the overall experience. I have noticed others saying the same in their reviews so just be aware if you wanna visit.

The food and restaurant was so so so nice! My partner and I got the spicy shakshouka, coffee and the cinnamon roll. Everything was amazing until our server came and took our plate without asking, when we had half our food still on our serving plate. She dropped off the check too. I was so confused I thought maybe my partner said we were leaving but he was confused too. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they drop off the check mid meal and then take your plate lol. We got the hint. We went (today) Friday around 11:10am, it was busy and they were able to seat us for brunch and as we were eating more and more people were leaving. I don’t know if they were closing soon, but we left at 11:45am. Other than that everything was great and our server was really nice too. It was just so damn weird??? Who does that?

A

I’m not sure whether the burgers were microwaved, but the texture was quite chewy. From the drinks to the food portions, everything felt very small for the price. Overall, this is more of a stop-by-once for the experience rather than a place I’d return to for the food.

We came in for breakfast because we got lots of recommendations for this place. It is such a nice and beautiful restaurant with rustic and industrial style. It is also not kid friendly, which is very sad for such a joint. However I felt there was a discrimination with our group when we enter the restaurant. We werent receiving such hospitality. We were assigned a seat back in the restaurant because we have a stroller, when we mentioned we can fold our stroller we still werent able to change our table because of our table was the only table suitable for high chair. The restaurant werent full and there are many tables available. It is such a big restaurant with many seats and the answer make us very disappointed. I would have left but I need to order something for my kid so we ate quickly to leave for another place. The food was ok, the coffee was good. However, I would not come back and would not recommend for family neither visitor like us again. It is such a big disappointment for such establishment.

I think it's places like this why people think Seattle food is mid. For some reason this place is super popular and you have to get reservations way in advance for weekend brunch. And the result is the most mid food I've ever tasted while being super expensive. Food is fine enough but I definitely would not recommend and won't come back. Oh yeah I just remembered, they also have predatory pricing, adding 5% charge to the bill for nothing. 👎🏽

I came here for a nice day with friends. The food was amazing. The drinks were amazing and there was absolutely no problem at all when it comes to the food or drinks. We were really excited to come back until once we were done we assumed that the surcharge that they placed on our bill was the tip for our waitress unfortunately it was not and we had another waiter/ staff other than our waitress come outside to ask us if something was wrong with their service because we didn’t tip and that our waitress was extremely upset that we didn’t tip her. The staff member told us again that our waitress was extremely upset and got an attitude with us and told us that now because we didn’t tip our waitress she will have to tip out of her own personal money. We explained that unfortunately we don’t have any cash and we assumed that the surcharge that was put on our bill was the tip. There were only three of us so usually there’s not an extra surcharge for a small amount of people. We asked her what the surcharge was for, she did not explain what the surcharge was for and made it really uncomfortable because we didn’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings, but that is unacceptable. Long story short food is amazing. Drinks are amazing but the past the policy of having to tip out of your own money for a tip that she did not receive to other staff, we feel as though that is unacceptable, and that Oddfellow should change that policy to better ensure that their staff gets paid adequately. We are very disappointed in how Oddfellows policies affect their staff and we will not be coming back.

Our group’s waitress was extremely snappy and rude, ruining our first experience here. She was a brunette with short bangs and gave my friend attitude when she told her what she’d like to order, but gave her a dirty look saying that she is taking orders for drinks now. Also, the eggs Benedict’s were quite bland and disappointing. Wouldn’t come back or recommend

I came here a few days ago. The food declined a lot!!! Their fryer was broken so no fries. The steak is so small and expensive. I ordered the milk tea it was terrible. My sister and I came here over 10 years ago and had fond memories of how good the food used to be. Back then we had the hanger steak with fingerling potatoes. I would not recommend this restaurant. The food other people ordered nowadays looks equally sad.
