This is My first time going to a cafe in Bay Street with a group of people from JCC. It's a walk from where I used to live in 52 Beach Street and had to get there by crossing the street. There is a McDonald's just not far from that too. It's a brick building and it has a sign of a coffee cup at the front door entrance. When I went inside, the place felt American like and a little welcoming. It's almost campy. There was one carpet at the entrance because it was raining when I got there. They did have some chairs and tables. A bookcase with a little winery at the bottom and coffee and books. ☕🍷📚 They do have a back room where it's really comfortable. They could have put a rug there too since it has the red curtains for an entrance. Inside they did have a lot of art pieces on the walls and a fireplace with wood 🪵 and two chairs and a table. There is a couch there as well. And a dresser like cabinet in the corner of the room. The whole back room area felt like something out of the 80s or a 90s sitcom. I looked at the menus and they're very fancy. I picked out the SI Burger with sea salt hand cut fries. The burger was $15 and the fries were $8 which equals out to $21. Pretty expensive for two meals because the burger came with a pickle and chips. The freeze came with two sauces mayonnaise and ketchup. The chips were a little hard but I enjoyed the burger 🍔 and it was very delicious 😋. I did ask how much the drinks cost.$3 for a glass bottle of soda or I could have the water which is free. I said yes to the water but I didn't really get it. I'm not going to lie I was slipping a little bit because the whole floor was made of wood. Hopefully I can come back to this place for a little bit more of an experience does this kind of Cafe looks and feels very homely and I don't know why. Does look very cool though.👍🕯️🦅🍔🍟😁🍳🥞🧇🥯🥐

10/10. there are no words for how good this spot is. i feel like a Jehovah’s witness spreading the good word telling everyone i come in contact with how top tier the tiramisu latte & croissants are. they bake them in house. i call the man who bakes them the croissant master. every barista in there makes a damn good latte, i was a barista for years this is very rare. everyone is so professional & always give the people what they want. when they close on wednesdays i want to cry, but yes they need rest. my favorite coffee shop ever in my 28 years on earth. no coffee shop compares. not being dramatic at all. God bless all of their hands for the good work they do!

Great coffee drink menu and DELICIOUS vanilla latte. Really large space with a cozy back room, very clean and cute. Looking forward to trying the food next time. If only the location was closer to the ferry… they should be packed all the time. Let’s make it happen.

We had an amazing experience! The customer service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. This was our first time visiting, and it definitely won’t be our last. We are already looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

Such a cute little cafe with a cozy atmosphere and great service. The brunch is awesome and they have so many coffee options. I recommend the tiramisu latte. It was so creamy and delicious. I will for sure be back.

Veteran owned! I appreciate how law enforcement/ military friendly this cafe is- especially considering the location and the current political climate. How lovely it was to be somewhere that celebrated those who put their lives on the line to protect us. The interior is much larger than it seems from the outside, with plenty of spaced apart tables for private conversations. The menu was extremely affordable and surprisingly extensive for a local coffee shop (they have a kitchen in the back and everything is prepared fresh). Only downfall is the difficulty to find parking and the little to no gluten free options. Please add gluten free bread or pastries!!

First of all, I have to say that this place has such a lovely environment—it truly feels like home. I come here every weekend, and it’s become part of my routine in the best way possible. Everything is freshly baked daily, from the incredible sourdough bread to the pastries that always smell and taste like they just came out of the oven. The coffee? Absolutely delicious. You can tell it’s made with care. It’s rich, smooth, and consistently good—no matter who prepares it. There’s something really special about how each cup feels crafted rather than just made. One of the things I appreciate most is how the owner runs the place. He’s super friendly and has created a space where the staff seem genuinely happy. You can feel the freedom they have to express themselves—whether it’s through latte art or the beautiful sweets they bake. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a little hub of creativity and warmth. As for the food—my absolute favorite is the steak and eggs. It’s perfectly cooked every time and packed with flavor. A close second is the chicken sandwich, which is juicy, crispy, and just hits the spot. And of course, the avocado toast is always fresh and satisfying. Everything on the menu is made with quality ingredients and you can really taste the difference. And for all my Brazilian friends—you’ll be happy to know they even have Brazilian carrot cake! My favorite.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this newly opened café on Bay Street in Stapelton, Staten Island, and I must say, it is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and genuine welcome that instantly makes you feel at home. The customer service here is truly phenomenal—every member of the staff, from the front to the kitchen, exudes kindness, attentiveness, and a level of hospitality that is a direct reflection of the owners’ passion and dedication. The food is consistently fresh and bursting with flavor, making every bite a delight. Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty meal or a light bite, the quality and attention to detail in their dishes never disappoint. And let’s talk about the coffee—absolutely savory, rich, and perfectly crafted to satisfy even the most discerning coffee lover. Beyond the exceptional food and beverages, what truly sets this café apart is its atmosphere. The space radiates warmth, laughter, and a genuine sense of community. No matter who you are, you are treated like family, creating an inviting and memorable experience that keeps you coming back. If you’re looking for a place that offers not only delicious food and outstanding coffee but also impeccable service and a welcoming ambiance, this café is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and my daughter and I absolutely look forward to coming and enjoying the ambiance any chance we get!

**Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I recently visited Caffeinated New York for a quick TooGoodToGo pickup, and it was an absolute delight! The girl behind the counter, Nicky, was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly, made me the best cup of ice coffee, and her positive energy totally lifted my spirits. The place itself is pretty spacious, so you can either chill or get some work done. And guess what? They’re expanding soon with a bar section, which sounds like a fantastic addition. I highly recommend checking it out!

The Caffeinated New Yorker, a new café/brunch spot, just opened in nearby Stapleton. A friend & I dropped in for coffee and pastries this morning. We had a chance to talk with the owner and learn how the cafe came to be, and hear his plans for the future, including wine tastings and live music. The newly renovated space is beautiful and well-appointed. There are also plans to renovate the outdoor space in the back. I encourage everyone on the North Shore to come out and support the cafe! I’ll definitely be back for brunch.

Had a bite to eat at Staten Island’s newest Cafe in the neighborhood. CAFFEINATED NEW YORKER is super cute! Tried the Pesto Chicken BLT and an Oat milk honey Latte. The sandwich was delicious and fresh ! The bread was super soft and the chicken was juicy! The latte was creamy and made to perfection. Come try it out, you won’t be disappointed! ☕️🥪

I absolutely love this coffee shop! It’s beautiful inside, and the coffee is just fantastic. I wasn’t thrilled with my first cup, but the staff were so nice and happily remade it for me at no charge, which I really appreciated. I also indulged in their gluten-free brownie, and wow, it was delicious! The place was spotless, and even though parking is just street parking, the friendly vibe from the staff made my visit truly enjoyable.

Updated Review: ⭐ 4/5 I originally left a one-star review after a really frustrating morning — and honestly, it was fair at the time. I showed up right at opening (according to posted hours), the door was locked, and a staff member inside gestured for me to wait while they finished their breakfast. Ten minutes passed with no update, no acknowledgment, no explanation. I left. It was a rough start to my day, and the lack of basic communication really rubbed me the wrong way. That said, we had been to Caffeinated New Yorker a few times before that, and those visits were overwhelmingly positive. The staff was friendly, the vibe was cozy, and the Gaucho sandwich really hits — steak, bread, and sauce is always a win. Last time I went, I had a raspberry mocha with an extra shot of espresso, and it totally delivered. What really impressed me was the owner's response. He reached out directly, took responsibility, and offered a sincere apology — no excuses, no brush-off. That kind of accountability matters. So I’m updating my review to 4 stars. There was a service failure, yes — but the willingness to own it and do better makes a real difference. I’ll be back soon, and if things stay solid, I’m happy to bump it to 5.
