Seppe Pizza Bar Staten Island Reviews
Best pizza I’ve ever had in New York! 🍕✨ The Salsiccia flavor was absolutely amazing — rich, full of taste, and perfectly balanced. If you love pizza, you have to try this one. Highly recommend!
Excellent restaurant, but tucked away location. All of the dishes our party had were aromatic and delicious. Nice interior decor, extremely clean throughout. At present they have an A rating with the health department, no doubt they have earned it. Customer service was friendly without being overbearing. The floor to ceiling windows brighten up a dreary winter day. Highly recommend if you’re in this part of Staten Island.
Please see my yelp review for pictures. There's nothing quite like the joy of food to uplift the spirit, and trying new restaurants is a true pleasure. Discovering Seppe at 3 Navy Pier on Staten Island was a highlight of my culinary journey. The warmth and hospitality I received from the staff were truly inspiring. I'll post pictures that showcase the sparkling cleanliness of the water bottles and glasses, because attention to detail matters. It's this kind of dedication that sets a fine establishment apart. My experience with Sal, my waiter, was exceptional; he was knowledgeable and made recommendations that elevated my meal to new heights. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill, from the sublime espresso martini to the exceptional Caesar salad, and the spicy vodka pie was a flavor sensation. Finishing my meal was a delightful tiramisu martini and a slice of perfectly baked cheesecake. What a fantastic way to spend a Thursday. I'll return to Seppe, drawn by the promise of an unforgettable dining experience.
Absolutely amazing experience! My partner and I stopped in on a cold Sunday, not feeling our best and dressed in our lazy clothes but when the pizza craving hits, it hits. We’ve tried all the NYC classics like Joe’s and John’s, discovered hidden gems, and even traveled upstate in search of great pizza. Hands down, the best pizza we’ve had in Manhattan so far is Seppe. We had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Noah, who let us know they also have a Staten Island location definitely adding that to our list. If you get the chance, don’t walk to this place run. Our favorites were the Aunt Honey pizza and the special vodka sauce pizza… unreal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the hospitality is truly top notch. They do an incredible job making sure your experience is memorable it genuinely feels like visiting family. We can’t wait to come back! 🍕✨
First time tonight. Great menu, wonderful service. Can’t wait to go back and try more but the pizza had a nice crunch, the pull apart garlic bread was perfect, and the pesto was summer good.
I recently visited Seppe in lower Manhattan. It did not disappoint. The place was spotless, the service was great, and the food was equally as delicious as Seppe in Staten Island. I totally recommend you pay a visit. You will be glad you did. Kudos to Louie and his staff. Can’t wait to go back!
What a treasure! This spot was such a great find for a pizza lover like me! Even though we were very impressed by the pizza here, their appetizers and main dishes were some of the best Italian dishes we’ve had. Coming back from Italy, the food is prepared with ingredients that tastes incredibly authentic and not at all heavy. Service was so warm and welcoming as well! A must try!
Seppe’s Pizza Bar is a gem! The pizza is absolutely top-tier — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crisp every time. Their cocktails are just as impressive, expertly crafted and full of flavor. I started with the baked clams, which were outstanding, and I highly recommend the Caesar salad — super fresh and delicious. To top it all off, the desserts never disappoint. The cheesecake in particular is a must-try — creamy, rich, and unforgettable. Seppe’s nails it from start to finish. A definite go-to spot!
5 star restaurant across the board, I can honestly say this is by far one of the best spots we have been to in a while. From the garlic pull apart bread to the basil pesto pasta and the fresh warm cookie it was all a hit! The tiramisu espresso martini was to die for and the service beats it all! On top of amazing food we also had an amazing server her name was Tanja! She was the sweetest person very personable and gave us top notch recommendations, constantly checked on us and made sure our dinner was everything we expected! Shout out to Tanja, keep being an amazing waitress and thank you for such a pleasant evening!
Yummy, Seppe one of the first restaurants in the Urby (and still going strong), they must be doing something right. I’ve been here a dozen times, everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. They have an open kitchen concept and the chef enjoys interacting with the clients, giving a very homey vibe. I usually sit at the bar where the bartenders (most of the time friendly) make great drinks, my favorite tequila martinis but I’ve heard their old fashions are pretty good. We recently came with a group of four, close to closing and they were still accommodating even when we sent back pasta that wasn’t cooked fully. They quickly fixed the issue with a smile and with no hesitation. We had the beets salad, calamari (nice and big), the shrimp pasta dish as well as the mushroom and pasta, everything had a great taste. Also Come try their hot honey pizza they’ve been serving it before the hype and boy is it delicious! See you there.
Jessica was a smokin hot waitress who was so friendly. We were served top tier pizza and drinks everytime! We had such a great time we had to come back every day during our stay. The service was amazing, we felt like family even while a thousand miles away from home. The food was great and each day we tried a different pizza. Each one had a special touch and was absolutely delicious! We tried all their pizzas and ate each one with a fork they were so fresh and delectable. Can’t recommend enough. Best staff, best owner, best pizza, best environment!
Our son and DIL turned us on to this Urby restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We had the roasted cauliflower and fried artichoke hearts appetizers, and wow, they were good. They were followed by a pie that was half Aunt Honey (salsiccia & hot honey pie) and half Fresca (prosciutto & arugula pie), on a deliciously crunchy crust. We washed everything down (except for the ample leftovers) with a great amarone. Our server, Ella, was friendly and attentive, and Tangia the bar manager was incredibly nice. Louie the owner sat with us a bit, and it's a testament to his leadership that much of his staff at Seppe has been with him for a decade or more. Definitely going back!
Always a quality experience at Seppe. Top-tier pizza as well as cocktails and craft beer on tap like Island Vibes, by Kills Boro, my favorite. Classy interior allows for it to be a casual lunch spot all the way to a nice night out with the wife. Would recommend Seppe to anyone staying on or visiting the North Shore, Bay St. area of Staten Island or getting off the ferry and looking for somewhere to grab a bite or hang out for the night.
An elegant restaurant located in the Ruby complex. This is an elegant restaurant that serves good quality food and service. The pizza here is really good, freshly made and served hot right from the oven. The menu has expanded since the last time I was here with my family. I personally love the meatball sliders, This tiny little delight melts in your mouth and warms your heart. There are other dishes served here too, but I am a fan of their pizza and meatball sliders. If you are ever on the north shore of Staten island, stop in and enjoy their menu.
Man this place is something special. First of the pasta I had was classic and perfectly executed firm yet tender. The sauce and the garlic were not burned and the peasants bread crumbs pushed the whole dish to a new level. But the most amazing thing were the drinks the level of execution and the craftsmanship was and is absolutely unrivaled. I don't want to say anymore you just have to experience for yourself and hopefully you get the same experience.
Came on. Sunday Aunt Honey (Soppressata, chili flakes hot honey)- while the pizza is delicious for a standard pizza. I wish it had more hot honey flavor as that was supposed to be one of the topping Brussel sprouts and calamari - no comment 10/10 would get again. Brussel sprouts was nicely seasoned and crispy.
Our waiter Joe was great! The pizza here is amazing!! The artichoke pie was great, the margarita pie is my favorite. The chicken Parm was OK. The chicken kind of tasted weird like chewy. The cookie skillet for dessert was also very good. And not to mention the bread was amazing with the garlic bread is a must get and the penne vodka was good as well.
The portions were so small and definitely not worth the price. I paid $18 for a Caesar salad that was small and not enough for one person to eat as an entree. The $13 cookie was only slightly larger than a cookie you would make at home. The $28 bolognese pasta wasn’t even full in the container. I’m so disappointed. The only thing that was worth the price in terms of portion was the pizza.
