I heard about this place from my coworkers. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The employees are so kind and helpful. I ordered the carne empanada which came with a cilantro chipotle sauce. Both the empanada and the sauce were absolutely amazing. The empanada packs a punch of fresh authentic Peruvian cuisine. A wonderful light lunch that is good on the wallet and will have you back out the door in 5 minutes. I also got a garden salad which was fresh, crisp, and light. I have not had the coffee but I heard it is delicious. I am so excited to stop in before work to get a coffee. They are in a fantastic spot and I’m sure they will thrive due to the foot traffic and businesses in the area. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! Good luck!!

This was my sixth time ordering food and drink here. Featuring here are the arepa - bacon breakfast sangwich (left) and charcoal mocha frappe (right). I’m not a big fan of their sangwiches tbh. They’re filling, but nothing is memorable. However, I love their frappes and the frozen hot chocolate. Their crystal ginger honey tea is also worth to try. I was able to place my order and pick it up in a reasonable time via the app (Apple pay isn’t working fyi). You can also use the square space website.

I love Hope Cafe so much. Their lattes really make my day especially the crème brûlée one. Also whatever the put in their egg and cheese sandwiches is literally crack. Me and boyfriend go to get it all the time. I really hope to explore the rest of their menu but I can’t stop ordering that sandwich. The staff is very friendly and always makes sure to get your order right. They bring the food out to you even if you’re ordering to go which is just a nice touch.

Love the new space downtown much more than previous locations! It is so much easier for me to walk in and get that delicious drink whos name I cant remember. (Maracuja?). Cant wait to come back.

The empanadas are large and delicious, the owners are kind, and the cafe is peaceful. It is a lovely place to relax with a coffee and some food.

THIS is customer service. A genuine smile between strangers. My breakfast sandwiches are always so satisfying, exactly what I'm looking for. The kind you eat and you're groaning the whole time. The drip coffee was so yummy too. Starbucks wouldve charged way more and taken way longer for a sandwich heated from frozen. Their food is INSTANT! I swear it's done in 3 minutes. I can order, drive down the street and be out in ten seconds. Mwah🤌their kindness makes everything taste even better.

I have not tried their food, so cannot comment on that. The coffee and frappes are amazing, however, the best part of this experience is the customer service. They are very courteous, and truly value you as a customer. I work from the Cafe sometimes for an hour or two, and the ambience is very soothing for work.

Wonderful! Spent the last week in Syracuse visiting family and ordered lattes, bagels, arepas, and breakfast sandwiches every day, twice a day. Lattes were the best I've ever had and every bite of food was delightful. I will visit Hope Cafe every time I come back to Syracuse. .

Food and service is good. Had to ask what each sandwich consisted of, no problem. A good variety of food and drinks, A good neighborhood, would have eaten at an outside table but the wind was too strong. Highly recommend.

I started ordering here about a month ago because I wanted to try something new and it has become one of my favorite places for breakfast. Every sangwhich I have ordered has been consistently delicious and hot. The order is always on time, the staff are friendly and the cafe is squeaky clean. This is a top notch establishment! A+

What a great addition to the downtown Syracuse lunch time dining scene! From the wonderful staff to the tasteful décor to the flavorful food, I cant find a single negative thing to say. The spicy chicken sandwich was definitely spicy and exploding with deliciousness. The drink options abound and my coffee was very good. I will be back again to try the other menu items. Highly recommended!

I went to the Hope Cafe for a quick bite during my lunch break at the suggestion of my coworker. I had the chicken empanada which is very delicious 🥰by the way and the perfect size for a quick bite. The service is great and the atmosphere is relaxed! The price $5.23 for my chicken empanada😍. I will continue to dine here ,there are several things on the menu that I would like to try. Thank You💜💜

Can't decide if I like the new location. Sad to hear they don't make chicken empanadas anymore.. The beef are good but the chicken were our favorite.

I went in hoping for a Cortado. “We can’t do those/there’s no way for me to ring you up.” Ok that’s fine so I asked just do a 12oz (small) Latte and don’t fill it up all the way. “We only do Lattes as a large (16oz?) and I can just fill it half way.” I said no thanks and left. What a let down. I shouldn’t to be forced to pay for a large when I don’t want a large.
