Good food, friendly staff, and quick service. We have stopped a few times here, even though we dont live close, its just a nice friendly vibe, the kids love it. Its a family friend Tavern.

We came to see the sleepy hallow lighthouse and came across this cozy tavern. This place was great! The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic! The menu had a nice variety and it's not just your ordinary burgers. They gave you choices of wild boar and elk burgers. The Huckleberry Lemonade was one of a kind and they have an excellent beer list. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect day and worth the hour drive. I'm planning on going back soon...

Great charm, friendly staff, and DELICIOUS food! The view and neighborhood have changed over the years but this is still a gem worth visiting (again and again). The menu has a little bit of everything and even "simple" dishes are bursting with flavor. Don't miss it!

It is an amazing pub with good food, and allows you to taste the beer before ordering. The service is amazing and the view is mesmerizing.

Stopped here for lunch while on a weekend trip with some girlfriends and absolutely loved this place! The dining room was full when we arrived and seating in the bar was limited but the owner and bartender were super accommodating and made space for us. The owner was very hands on and friendly, we saw him helping staff members as well as making sure customers were enjoying themselves, which is always great to see. Our bartender, Chris, was fantastic. He helped us with food recommendations and offered beer samples and made us feel very comfortable the entire time we were there. The Italian smoked pork sandwich was absolutely delish and the draft list is killer. We had choices from Other Half, Maine brewing, and Hill Farmstead, along with a nice selection of local beers. They also have a parking lot across the street and metered parking in front. You dont want to miss this town gem!

This establishment was really quite a find. It has a terrific list of craft beers. I thoroughly enjoyed the pumpkin ale and build your own prime burger with outstanding garlic fries. I highly recommend this tavern as it also has nice views of the river. We rode past the tavern around dinner time and there was a long line to get in. We ate lunch around 12 and were seated in a few minutes. Just give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I doubt that you will find a better restaurant in the area. The biggest problem with the menu is that there are too many good choices. I got the barbecue platter. The andouille sausage was delicious. St Louis ribs were well smoke dry-rubbed and had just the right amount of sauce. Normally, I'm a no sauce guy, but this place has a sauce that adds just the right amount of flavor without hiding the dry rub or the smoke. Friendly, welcoming service and a nice view of the Hudson and the Tappan Zee Mario Cuomo Bridge. next time I'm in the area, I won't even consider another restaurant until I've marched completely through the menu.

We went there for food pickup during social distancing protocols. They had a great system in place. You order on the phone and they call you when it’s ready. Then either come up to the front steps and grab it, or roll up your car and they bring to you. The burger with onions and bacon truly made time stop. It was so incredibly good. Cooked to perfection (medium rare and was actually cooked right) juicy, flavorful, and in a shiny yummy brioche roll. We also got a pulled pork sandwich. The flavor was great thought the meat was a little tough. The fries were skin on thick French fries that were crisp and done right. The staff on the phone and in person were great- efficient, polite, helpful, all while being slammed on a weekend night. They had set up tables in their garden and parking lot for which there was a line. We were ok sitting by our car and watching the sunset. They also sold growlers of their many draft beers which we appreciated too. A+. The view of the bridge was really cool as was the sunset which will soon be covered up by a new development :(. Come enjoy while you can.

Fantastic choice of craft beers, burgers are made to perfection, had the bison. The curry mussels are dangerously addictive. Great service from the ladies.

My friends and I gave this place a try while on vacation. We got fish and chips and burgers. Everybody’s food turned out delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Our servers (Joe then Jason) were both very friendly and fun! We would definitely recommend it!!

Excellent food and an interesting menu. Honestly, that BBQ might be worth the 45 minute trip back for us! We were very happy to enjoy a table on the sidewalk by the restaurant, with a view of the Hudson. Great service!

THE only place to eat and drink around this spectacular historic town. It’s a tradition of mine to visit this fantastic tavern after every visit to Sleepy Hollow, where the pints are great and the food is delicious! Their selection of food and drink is vast and the service couldn’t be nicer. The owner Chris is one of the soundest people you’ll ever meet. It’s not often I’ll leave Scotland and find a place that makes me feel right at home; this place does just that.

Great food, beer, and the hospitality of the staff is amazing! We were there on a busy night, but wasn’t rushed by the staff, and was allowed to enjoy our time. Unbeknownst at the time, but we had a nice conversation with the owner afterwards. If he is reading this, come on down to east TN!!

If you happen to be in my situation, moving from US Storage - Prime Storage , Bridge View Tavern is the place to eat at. A quiet & peaceful town . Lovely view of the bridge & lighthouse , & not too far from the popular Bake House bakery located in the train station . I have no pic, cause was so hungry from moving. I love the fried calamari & the lobster bisque/ mussel , freshly made . The pulled pork Bahi was good. The shrimp taco was fantastic , the price you pay is worth the portion in their serving. My child enjoyed their jumbo chicken tender and brownie sundae. They have a nice list of cocktail drinks but that will be next time. Service was fast and quick. Til next time.

This is a cute restaurant. The indoor space is small and cozy. There is also outdoor seating with heating. The service is good. Some of the prices are a little high for the dish. Disco Fries for example are $16 but it does have Wild Boar Chili. The Sweet Potato Fries are good and it's a large serving. They have a good beer selection. My friend had French Onion Soup and Shrimp Po Boy and they looked tasty.

Bridge View Tavern is a great place with a good atmosphere. Came here for dinner and to celebrate a birthday. Sat in the Beer Garden section, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about the different beers on tap. Food was good, the garlic fries were great, and better than typical bar food. Would suggest maybe having a beer cheese sauce for those pretzels. Other than that, would definitely come back.

Great food and service! It’s very popular so there might be a line outside but it moves decently. We got there at 12:10 and got seated just before 1pm.

Very cool atmosphere. Love the various old concert posters with all the great artist from the past. Food was great. beer selection is extensive. service was very friendly. would most likely try to hit the location again.

Overall an excellent experience! For starters we ordered their Mac n' Cheese and Fig & Goat Cheese Flatbread. Which was absolutely delicious. The Mac was cheesy and gooey. The fig & goat cheese flatbread hit my taste buds in such a way, it was still on my mind the entire ride back home. As for the main course I ordered the Bacon Jam Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. Yes it taste just as good as it sounds. Crunchy, tender, and flavorful. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had and tasted in a while. Last but not least, the service. Our server Pedro was highly professional, efficient, and attentive to ours and everyone's needs. Excellent service by him. We we're highly satisfied with our entire experience, absolutely no complaints, and will definitely be going back soon.

The best place for a burger and a beer. Very cool pub/restaurant with a great selection of food and beer. Burger is cooked to perfection. Big fan of the mac and cheese!! Parking is not an issue as there is a huge lot across the street.

Delicious! We went on a weekday so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We were also served right away and our server was very nice and attentive. I got the bacon jam chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! I was a little worried about the slaw because it has habaneros and those usually make my tongue feel numb, but this time it was just tasty with a tiny bit of heat. The cider was also super good, tasted like fizzy apple juice.

One of the most joyful spots in NY. Garrett at the bar is particularly phenomenal but it is uniquely one or those magical spots that stands out amongst all the bars in this country and establishes itself as a genuine landmark. An incredible spot that fulfills and exceeds all expectations.

We rode our electric bikes over the Tappan Zee bridge from Congers. When we pulled up to the restaurant the owner Chris was out front. It was like a scene out of a TV show. It gave the feeling like you had to have connections to eat there. He was sitting there greeting the guest and directing the hostess. Chris very kindly was worried about our bikes. I tried to lock them to the light pole and he said that just wouldn't do. He gave me instructions to a place under some stairs behind his gate to put them. We had a wonderful meal outside on a heated fenced-in deck. My buffalo burger was amazing and I believe my wife had some sort of pork sandwich that she really enjoyed. The service and hospitality was very heartwarming.

After a nice hike and trail run with my dog Rocky, I wanted to find a place that would be dog friendly where I could get a glass of wine and this truly was the place. I had a veggie burger that was very good and they were so nice to Rocky They have a patio with a fireplace and infrared heaters that is so cozy. This is a definite 5 ⭐️

Very friendly and nice staff, food was very good. There are restrictions on seating, so if it's busy you can assume there's a bit of a wait. Though I went without reservations the wait was still considerably and comfortably short. A decent amount of seats have a very nice view of the river and bridge, those that don't let you take in the classic tavern ambiance. Would definitely go again and recommended.

Faultless service from our server Ginny B, who recommended great drinks and food while paying special attention to our little dog we took with us. Fish and chips were delicious. Wife had strawberry margarita and I had a beer (can’t remember name) and a maple old fashioned. Recommend for a no frills good old meal.

R

The food here is amazing. The firsh and Chips was so crispy and delicious as well as the fries! Elk burger was cooked to perfection and was one of the most tender burgers I've tried in a while. The staff was friendly as well. Also as a heads up be prepared to wait in person. Come early and don't get hangry waiting!

Today I went here to have lunch and the experience deserves endless stars. When I arrived Patty informed us that our table was going to be a 45 minute wait and within 5 minutes we had our table. Patti was very friendly and provided cheerful customer service. Our waitress was very nice and the food was delicious. I would come back again because the service was cheerful, friendly and everything was in a timely manner.

Fantastic place! Great service. PET FRIENDLY! Jellybean the 🐕 had a great time eating in the back area, which had a beer garden style dining room. Great beer variety, delicious food tavern style menu. Bison Burger w bacon jam is a top-tier burger. Nachos are great to share for the table. Definitely will come back to try more. Cash and credit are both accepted. 05/2023

You would NOT expect a "tavern" to have this high level of excellent food. The food is insanely good! My boyfriend is from Northern India and I'm from South Louisiana so we are partial to flavor and good food. Bridge View Tavern delivers and then some! Highly recommend the Andouille and shrimp grits, the mussels and the vegetarian curry. For drinks had an old fashioned (maple) and the killer bee mezcal with honey and lemon. Brian our server was efficient and friendly. The food is flavored so well, great, quick service, good vibes! Already recommending directly to friends and had to share here!

Wow! What an incredible spot. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed—the staff is so warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to take care of you. The atmosphere has such a nice vibe, and everything feels inviting. The food? Absolutely amazing. The burgers are on another level—juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. And the appetizers are just as impressive—every bite is delicious and so well prepared. It’s one of those places where you can tell they really care about both the food and the guests. Between the amazing menu, the relaxed atmosphere, and the outstanding service, this place is a total gem. I can’t wait to come back!

I had a planned a special lunch with a lifelong friend n my sister. We chose Bridg View Tavern to meet as it was a middle point for us 3. The joint was spectacular! Food above par for a tavern; This "Tavern" goes above and beyond your typical tavern. It is a legit restaurant with 2 bars (that I saw). Their meals were unique and DELICIOUS!!! We had met Chris, the owner, and Patti, the manager. Lucky us! They walk around and introduce themselves making sure everything is going well. The view was amazing. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. I recommend Bridge View Tavern for ALL! Locals and visitors! We gals are definitely planning a monthly lunch at this beautiful "Tavern". There was actually a line at 11.45 to get in. I suggest getting there early. Clearly nothing more needs to be said. A+ X a million. Love you guys!!!!!!!!! Oh n dessert was also amazing!

Delicious food and nicely decorated interior. Bathrooms clean and waitstaff friendly. About eight beers on tap, and others, bottled. Parking streetside or in nearby lot. In May 2024, Libertarian presidential candidate Lars Mapstead met supporters at this location.

Great ambience friendly staff and tasty bites at bridge view tavern located right on the edge of the Hudson with great views. The sandwiches were generously portioned, cooked and seasoned well, and offered a variety of flavors. Great spot for lunch or dinner if you're in the area and looking for a casual family friendly location.

This place had at least 20 beers on tap and they’re all delicious. I ordered the Reuben burger medium with garlic fries and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. A well-established place in a great location. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely come again.

Nachos were off the hook delicious! The chicken was tender and well seasoned. Our waiter was very attentive and listened to my concerns because I was gluten-free. Delicious wine was chilled properly and they had a decent selection of scotches for my hubby

Me and my fiancé have been coming here for years. It was a first trip away together when we were younger so it means a lot to us! We absolutely love their food and come back every few months from Long Island just for the food! We have met the owner multiple times & he is exceptional. This place strives on good customer service as well as amazing food. If you are in the area, it is worth the wait. We both highly recommend bridge view to anyone!

T

This pub has excellent grub! The fries are amazing. I can honestly say I devoured the fries and wanted more. Appetizer was the pretzels, very tasty but be prepared the mustard dipping sauce is very spicy. The Philly Italian sandwich is delicious with a touch of spice. And their burgers are juicy goodness. You MUST save room for dessert. The Apple Tart with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle, YUMMY! The only sadness is that the view of the bridge will now be obstructed with the new apartment developments. Just don't look out the window and enjoy a great night out.

So glad we stopped here for a bite to eat! And enjoy the football games. It was not a long wait I would say about 30 minutes to sit at the bar. So we took a short walk to the Riverfront and came back. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and we would definitely come back.

Classic pub restaurant with views of the bridge, river, and Edge on Hudson, dark wood decor, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere, great place to watch sports with multiple screens in the bar area. Great old horseshoe bar also! Wonderful drinks and a few dozen craft beers on tap. You can’t go wrong on the menu, especially the burgers. Surprising excellent multicultural cuisine items mixed in.

Went in for a Sunday brunch and we loved this place. We were seated outside in the patio overlooking sleepy hollow and it was really nice. We ordered the steak sandwich and the chicken pasta. The steak sandwich was great. While the steak could’ve been seasoned a bit more the caramelized onions and the spicy mayo sauce on the perfectly toasted brioche bun more than made up for it. The fries and the coleslaw with the steak sandwich were excellent too. The chicken pasta was excellent, the sauce was buttery and delicious.

It’s one of my favorite places in Westchester, I have been going there since 2020. We try to take our friends and family there, because their Smokehouse Burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. Very friendly staff and the food is always good. My favorite thing is their garlic fries.

The food is amazing. I do dine in for the burger and take away for the curry clams. The clams is so delicious also the burger. The server is really warm. They provide my dog water and they loved dog. My boyfriend and I have tried fried calamari at many many places, however this place has to have the best calamari we’ve ever tasted. It tastes like absolute heaven, there’s no other way to describe it. The wings were amazing as well and our pulled pork sandwich too!! 10/10 we definitely recommend, we’ll for sure be coming back! Everyone there is also super sweet and very friendly :)

What a great place for food, drinks, and a great time as this place is a true gem. Great craft beer selection!!!! Special thanks to this great guy who is truly a first class gentlemen who can easily make you smile and laugh. Great spot for a casual date or get together with friends. No knuckleheads frequent this great place as it's easy to hold a conversation with your party. Cheers!! 🍻

My lady kept talking about this place to me. “Babe, they have a bacon jam burger. You gotta go there” and since I service/stay in the area once i month. I said heck, let’s do it. Let me tell you something. I damn near licked my dang basket spotless. Whatever they made this with, had no business being that damn good. I myself got the chorizo burger while my coworker got the elk burger (the one with onion rings) and words were barely muttered amidst the destruction of these burgers.

Small place with an old time travel feel. Two separate sitting areas with a nice size bar. Good Tap beer selection. Had the Italian pork sandwich with sweet vinegar peppers, spinach & provolone cheese, it was really good. Staff were great.

What a find. The chicken scampi was by far the best mix of flavours I have ever had for a breaded chicken schnitzel. White wine, vinegar peppers, hot chili, butter, maybe lime?? Omg. So good! Then set atop Parmesan rice! And Guinness on tap! Happy girl today. The staff were all super friendly and so welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

We were in the area and I did a quick google search for food. I saw the reviews and we decided to try it. We LOVED it! We both ordered burgers and they were so juicy and filling. Drinks were great! I got a strawberry margarita and my BF got a beer. Cute place, staff was nice and attentive. I leave a good review for hungry people in the future. They also do a discount if you pay cash and they have a parking lot for the customers across the street.

The food is excellent. Best burger in Westchester. And if the pulled poro empanadas are on menu they are a must order. Beer selection is excellent. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is fantastic especially in the bar area with a view of the river and bridge. Overall this is one of the best taverns I have ever been to.

If you’re visiting the Sleepy Hollow area, Bridge View Tavern is an absolute gem that proves some things are worth the wait. When I arrived during the busy weekend rush, the owner was personally greeting everyone in line, sharing local history and keeping spirits high despite an hour-long wait. That level of hospitality is rare; it’s a third-generation family business, and you can really feel that pride in the "warm and inviting" atmosphere. The food is far beyond your average pub fare. I was blown away by the Chicken Scampi, which featured a perfectly breaded schnitzel topped with a complex, zesty blend of white wine, vinegar peppers, and hot chili over Parmesan rice, a total flavor explosion. If you're craving classics, the Fish and Chips literally melts like butter, especially when paired with their incredible garlic-smothered fries. I also highly recommend the Bacon Jam Sammich if you want something savory and decadent. To wash it all down, their beer selection is top-tier, though the Lavender Haze cocktail is a must-try for something unique. The layout is spacious and cozy, with a fireplace-warmed outdoor room that is dog-friendly, making it a perfect stop for pet owners. Between the attentive service, the bridge views, and the generous portions, it’s a 10/10 experience that justifies every minute spent waiting for a table.

We visited here in October. We loved the atmosphere and there was band posters all over the walls. We had 3 burgers, 2 elk, and one regular burger and the cook on them was nailed. The salmon was a tad bit over and in October you should be prepared for a wait as it's Halloween season and since the town's renaming, they are busy due to tourism. This place works very hard to accommodate all. We will definitely return here for drinks and food.

This Tavern feels familiar. A cozy, low lit bar with plenty of seating and a cool and comfortable vibe. 60s/70s rock playing not too loud thru the speakers and various music and sports memorabilia hung on the walls. TV’s with all the games on of course. Staff is all very warm and friendly. Everyone is attentive and on point. We enjoyed it so much, we ate here twice this weekend. The food is high quality, cooked very well, and there’s a great drink selection. I love the variety of burgers including Bison and Elk. Fish and Chips was a hit. Even the Apple Crumble Cake and the Coconut Cake were perfect. Also really enjoyed Oh My Gourd, a seasonal mixed drink with pumpkin bourbon. Very important mention: CHRIS was AWESOME! We got to chat with him for a bit and he really completed the whole experience for us. A very friendly and warm guy you could end up chatting with for hours. Seriously someone write a book on this guy! The Tavern is really a place you could say feels like home. As NYC locals we will definitely be back! Chris thank you for treating us to dessert! And thanks to the rest of the staff for being so awesome too! You guys have a great thing that is hard to find and we really love it!!

During the October season, stopping by is the only way your getting a seat, save for the bar seating. Food was out fast if you order fast. Beer I got was the Before and After and I got the Elk Burger. It was soon damn good! I sampled the fish and chips. They were amazing. Save for up in Gloucester! Mac and Cheese was homemade and the Naan Pizza was good too! Both excellent plates for the little ones! View was great too! We were in Tarrytown for a night and went here for some dinner. It was easy to get to. There’s a parking lot across the street that is designated for the Bridge View Tavern. There’s a dining room, seating in the bar area that has bar seating as well as some tables. There’s also a small dining area next to the bar area. The bar area and the room next to it are the rooms with views of the bridge. The parking, entrance and seating is wheelchair friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive. He had a couple of good recommendations. They have a good selection of food options and a full bar. They offer a good selection of beer as well. Both the appetizers and the main meals were good. The Bridge View Tavern has good food, good service and a good casual atmosphere. Definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for a good casual place to have a drink or some food.

Came in for happy hour after a hike nearby. The deals are fantastic. We got the mussels with thai curry sauce to start which were divine. It came with toasted bread but it was pretty hard to chew, I wish it came with softer bread to sop up the sauce. I got the naked wings with buffalo sauce on the side- perfect if you love a spicy vinegar taste. The wings were crispy and delicious on its own too. Our server was great! Super helpful and personable, I wish we caught his name.

Great stop for good grub and a view. Attentive, friendly service, even on the patio out front! The only complaint would've been the preformed hamburger patty, instead of hand made on the chimchuri burger. The shrimp were seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Food was very good and staff pleasant. Gave it 4 stars because we were outside on deck and sitting at a table where dirt kept falling onto our table. We asked for a different table which we did get but they actually tried to serve our food before we got moved.

Had the wild boar and chorizo burger... very good. The fish and chips? Were huge, good flakey breading, cod was tender and flaky... really surprised how good they were. The view is ok. They are in process of building lofts and brownstones. Not sure how I feel about that since I'm sure it will obstruct the view of the lighthouse and bridge. Service, even in the bar,is friendly and attentive considering how many folks are in here. Beer garden is a cute little area and nice for chilling.

Bridge View is a local hangout serving up pub grub with a bar, beer garden, and dining area. We stopped by on a Sunday and the bar area was buzzing for the football games. The beer garden has a backyard barbecue vibe, and the drink list boasts a solid variety of craft beers and specialty cocktails. We opted for the dining area which has a typical tavern decorated with concert posters and tap handles. The menu features everything from standard pub fare to more creative options like wild game burgers and a bahn mi. We went with a few small plates and found everything to be good. The mussels were served in a rich, delicious Belgian curry cream sauce, and the calamari salad packed a large portion of freshly fried squid on fresh greens. The wings were tasty, but I was craving more of a smoked flavor then I got. Ultimately, great spot for gameday, pub food, or a few craft beers.

We wanted to enjoy today's beautiful weather and also do brunch or lunch. BVT came up highly recommended in our web searches and we are fond of the Sleepy Hollow area. Today we sat outside, gazing over at the Tappan Zee. We shared the roasted beet salad, very fresh and served with a very nice dressing on the side. Hubby had the bison burger which he raved about as he ate it -- I tried a bite and definitely want the bison burger on our next pass. Today I had the "Disco Is Dead" fries appetizer as my entree -- chili, cheese, bacon and jalapeños over french fries. Very tasty and exactly what I was needing, my kind of comfort food: starchy, gooey, salty, crunchy, meaty, spicy heaven! Plus 2 rounds of gin and tonics and the adult blackberry lemonade. Pat was our awesome waitress and the owner Chris dropped by our table to chat, touching on our Bronx neighborhood connections. Our first time at the Bridge View Tavern won't be out last!

I stopped in to grab lunch before driving back home to VA. The chicken cutlet pesto sandwich was delicious!! The French fries were seasoned well and crispy ! I didn't sit at the restaurant, as I had my dog waiting for me, but just a short walk down from the tavern is a beautiful waterfront park where I sat and enjoyed my food. The hostess said as I was leaving next time I come around, the patio was pet friendly. I stopped into this restaurant because it was on multiple websites, as a place you need to visit, while visiting Sleepy Hollow.

Great view ,menu, and wait staff. Also great selection of craft beers. We were seated outside overlooking the Governor Cuomo Bridge. Started with TEN HOUSE SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS dry rubbed, Buffalo (med or hot), sweet/spicy BBQ, Thai Chili or garlic parmesan, BBQ, or naked . Very good. For a main, I tried the VIETNAMESE PORK BAHN MI Garlic, sesame & lime roasted shredded pork shoulder, pickled carrots, sliced English cucumbers, cilantro and Vietnamese BBQ sauce on fresh-baked bread served with fries. Also very good. My wife choose the BUILD YOUR BURGER CHOOSE A MEAT | grilled chicken, beef ($13) elk, wild boar, bison ($14) MEAT TOPPING $1 each pulled pork, bacon, bacon jam CHEESE $1 each swiss, pepper jack, muenster, aged provolone, Vermont cheddar, American, bleu, goat TOPPINGS .75 each pickled jalapeños, caramelized onions, salsa barracha, raw onion, lettuce and tomato, sauteed mushrooms, bread/ butter pickles Definitely worth a visit.

Cozy nook with a great bar, parking lot for customers right across the street. Manager (or owner) Cris came up to every table to check up on everything. Server was also super attentive. Had the cobb salad (delicious, fresh, abundant and bacon was really crispy+not fatty) and an elk burger (same, it was cooked just right, not greasy at all, definitely tasted the difference between elk and any other meat). Spent 70 bucks for two people including two drinks for each. Great place, will come back for sure!

Good service, good food and a nice, but slightly distant view of the river and bridge. It's a little hard to judge the menu based on the pandemic restrictions. However, the social distancing rules, both inside and out, were being carefully observed. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a great place to eat before or after "walking the bridge."

Great pub food, with an even better craft beer taplist. They regularly have some of the most sought after east coast brews, on tap, from Hill Farmstead, Alchemist, Trillium, The Veil, and Hudson Valley Brewery!

Nice spot with seating both indoors and out, and really great service. It’s first come first serve, so there may be a slight wait. I think the best view is the at the bar inside… we sat outside thinking there’d be a view, but it was fully covered and gave off this green hue. Shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries were delicious. The garlic fries have a green garlic herb drizzled on it; super tasty but not what we were originally expecting.

Very good burgers with a huge pile of sweet potato fries. We all enjoyed our meal drinks and service on our way up to the Pumpkin Blaze. Super huge parking lot right across the street made arrival easy. Nice little pub/grub spot.

This was a great place to get dinner. I got the smokehouse burger with fries as well as the nachos with pulled pork. I highly recommend the nachos. They give you a lot, it was basically a full meal. The burger was a decent burger, it wasn't as good as the nachos. The fries for the burgers weren't the best fries I've had, but fries are fries. This place has its own parking lot so it was extremely easy to get here and find parking. It's right by the Hudson, so you can come here really easily after spending the day there. I definitely recommend this place.

The good - the pretzel appetizer OMG - I am not a pretzel person but YOWZA - they were truly special. The chicken sandwich with bacon jam was also really good. The service was terrible. Our waiter came and we asked for a milk punch sample as suggested by the hostess and yet he never came back to follow up uf we wanted to order one or take a drink order at all as a result we just had water when we each were looking forward to a cocktail. Unfortunately I also have to question the overall food quality because they clearly use generic ketchup that is very noticeably inferior to Heinz and impacted the French fry game for us. Not sure we will return considering how poor the service was.

We went to last weekend while were visiting Sleepy Hollow- and yes. Its close to the Halloween, the whole town was packed with "tourists/non-local" literally everywhere with a long line- we were with our dog, so this place recommended as dog friendly. The wait was about an hour at 1:45pm- The owner sat outside the whole time entertaining the people in line, kindly sharing any useful informations with his local knowledge - the restaurant run through 3rd generation, he was very kind and attentive- the wait feels go faster-! They also let you use the bathroom, while you're waiting! once youre inside- its not packed- they adjusted enough room/sittings (not liked packed sitting in the city) we sat the outdoor room with a wall/fireplace due to the dog accompanied (other rooms must have a nice view of the bridge) very cozy and the service was kind and attentive. The beer selection was great-! We ordered prime burger and bacon jam Sammich, both comes with fries- food was decent bar foods- if you need anything lunch spot, and less loud (as they're outskirt of the mainliad area) also across they have new market with outdoor area that you can stop by as well, you should check it out-!

Bridge View Tavern continues to deliver bold flavors and warm hospitality. On this visit, two standout dishes made the experience memorable: Shrimp Po' Boy - Perfectly fried shrimp tucked into fresh-baked wedge bread, layered with spicy Creole remoulade, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and tangy bread & butter pickles. It's a Southern classic with a gourmet twist--crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavor. Mussels Special Steamed in a fragrant coconut milk broth with lemongrass, ginger, and garlic. The broth was light yet deeply aromatic, and the mussels were plump and tender. A spoon and some crusty bread are a must--you won't want to leave a drop behind. Service: Jennie was absolutely amazing--friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on and her energy elevated the whole experience. Vibe: Rustic tavern meets craft beer haven. Whether you're inside or out in the beer garden, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Great for casual dinners, date nights, or weekend hangouts. Final Take: Bridge View Tavern nails the balance between comfort food and culinary creativity. With dishes like these and service like Jennie's, it's no wonder this place is a local favorite.

The drinks, bartender and vibes are what kept this review high! Bartender was absolutely great!! I don't remember his name but even when he was super busy, he was perfect! The food was sad, I got the roasted beet salad and my husband got the fish and chips. The roasted beet salad was definitely not roasted, the beets were void of any of the caramelization and tasted like they came out of a can. Absolutely awful! The fish was over battered and lacked seasoning. The chips were good! I would go back for the drinks, bartender and vibes! Probably not the food.

Stopped here for lunch when visiting Sleepy Hollow for the afternoon. We ordered the buffalo chicken wings, garlic fries and mac and cheese. The food was mid, not my personal favorite. The place was nice inside catered to the bar crowd. The views were great. A bit expensive for bar food.

My overall impression of the Bridge View Tavern is that it’s fine. The food was decent but not great. The service was somewhat slow, but everyone was nice. The atmosphere was fine. I got the Buffalo Mac and cheese, but it was a little greasy. My husband had nachos, and I tried some. The guacamole was very heavy on the onion, but otherwise the nachos were okay. If you’re hungry, this place works, but it’s not a restaurant I would seek out.

We stopped here on our way back from hiking at Bear Mountain. The food was ok, nothing particularly memorable. We were hoping for a view of the bridge, but unfortunately there wasn’t one. One thing to note is that a 3% card charge was added to our bill, even though we paid in cash.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came here on a Wednesday afternoon for a quick lunch and beer. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Drinks were served quick. Server was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Experience was great. Solid selection of beers. I would recommend carrying hard ciders. The food was decent. We ordered the chicken sandwich with the bacon jam and garlic fries. It was okay. Nothing memorable. Fries were okay too. I would have double fried them and added salt before serving (but that’s just a personal preference). Overall good experience. I would go back for the drinks and maybe try something else to eat.

We got 2 beef burgers which were really dry - one of the driest we’ve ever had. Fries were the cheapest ones from the store that you can get and they were overcooked. Our server lady had a bad attitude and we didn’t even want to ask her anything because of how she was responding to us. Overall, it’s not worth it during the fall peak. Not worth the wait
