Grace & Abe's Westfield Reviews
Absolutely the BEST PIZZA!!! Great options. LOVE the pub fries--perfectly seasoned and crunchy outside. Love this place.
The loaded pub fries are excellent. The atmosphere is chilly but charming. Unless you're a BIG fan of blue cheese, avoid the buffalo chicken pizza. (Seriously, if you try that first you may never want to try anything else from there ever again, but if you avoid the "Buffalo" pizza everything else was ok).
Patrick was so sweet and a great server! They were out of some stuff.. namely beers and cheese sauce but he was very accommodating and we ordered some great pizza; the Westfield Farmers Market, the Sicily and the Mediterranean(my favorite!). We were too hungry to take pictures but we would definitely come back if visiting the area again in the future. Thanks Patrick!
Chicken bacon ranch pizza was bomb, the wings were out of this world good!! Looked dry, but were so crispy and juicy 😋
Cool place! We came in on a late summer Sunday afternoon. Ordered their Honest Abe pizza and a build your own with garlic herb white sauce, pulled pork, mushrooms, red onion and artichoke. Fresh dough, thin crust, and wood fired. Peach white wine sangria. Mmmm! Great atmosphere and with the decent weather, the big front garage doors were wide open. Will definitely be back.
Last minute decision to stop for a bite to eat. Staff were very friendly and service was great. We ordered a pizza and a burger. Food was delicious and wait time was good. We sat by the open window area and enjoyed watching traffic go by and the cool breeze!
Patrick served us and was so attentive, an excellent Server!! The food was excellent, we had jalapeño peach chicken wings and chicken Nachos ( huge order, enough for 3 or 4) I had the pina colada sangria and my Husband had an awesome craft beer. We will definitely be going back while here in Westfield NY!! Thanks Patrick, for the great service!!
There doesn't seem to be a lot of options for places to eat around Lake Chautauqua area which I find odd because it's a very pretty area. This place was recommended by our hotel. They don't have a huge menu basically just wood fire pizza, burgers, sandwiches and such. The inside was nice although we did take out. Wait staff was pleasant no complaints whatsoever there. My daughter had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Burger was juicy, but nothing overly special. Fries were nicely seasoned. We also got the cheesy garlic sticks. My daughter thought they were very good and the marinara was great. I just thought they were "ok". I got the "make it a Philly" with brisket and a side of Mac n cheese. They boast having a famous cheese sauce, but honestly I found it lacking in flavor. The brisket was good though and overall the sandwich was decent. Mac n cheese was very bland to me I had to salt it to get it to have a little flavor. Overall the food was good just not "great" in my opinion. The price was a bit ridiculous $56.55 for a sandwich, burger and some bread with cheese. Would I go here again? Maybe, but probably just because I'm curious how their pizza is. Side note there is zero parking (unless we missed where it was hiding) which is possible since we're from out of town lol
Cozy place with a wood fired pizza oven, great beers, nice cocktail list, and some good food! My group had burgers and fries each of them to be cooked perfectly and delicious. Prices are good and the service was friendly and attentive. The only drawback for the evening was a fair amount of fruit flies... Probably a byproduct of their onsite beer production. We'd definitely return here!
Visited for the first time a few days ago. Accidentally came across this place. I had the Rueben(House cured Pastrami, smoked and thin sliced piled high on grilled marble rye with melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut.) With fries. Definitely needs to come with more thousand Island dressing. They give you a little container for it and ketchup is the same. You must also ask for silverware. Meat was on the dry side. Hubby liked the Pizza. A Meat Your Maker(loaded with five different house smoked meats.) Didn't appreciate the fact that when I ordered the Ruben our waitress asked what side I wanted and she gave me options. I said fries and then was charged $2 extra. Umm ok. Be aware that if you pay with card there will be a 5% charge. It's on the menu. Overall the place was good. Extra charges aren't exactly great, but the food was good and the drinks were decent. Gin and tonic and a beer. Quiet place. No background music, just the street infront of you. Apparently has live music at times. Waitress was great except not telling us about the upcharge on sides. Read the menu carefully.
$34 and out of fries. It was a 45 minute wait on Sunday night for takeout. Staff seemed a little overloaded. Burger and Mac and cheese were tasty. Salad was a bit small for $16 but maybe that was since the fry addition was missing (Pittsburgh salad). Also salad was missing the hard boiled egg. I’m sure it’s very tough with everything going on. My own business is struggling. Please continue to support local business.
It wasn't bad. I would say it isn't so great for a couple with a young family . are six year old grand son wanted chocolate milk. when the had neither this or white milk he asked for juice of any sort and there was also no juice available. Then we wanted a pizza with half some sort of specialty pizza they have on there menu and half cheese and pepperoni( for the six year old) and the server informed me they were unable to do so. With all this said in the end it all worked out, the service was fine and in there defense I belive the place is a micro brewery with a flat bread pizza oven. They are probly great at what they do we just happen to live 20 min away and were in town looking for a place to eat with are grand son . I would have give it 4 stars except I didn't really care for the pizza either. I may try something different next time I am in town , it was kind of atmosphere with the two over head doors being open.
We arrived and were seated promptly. Most of the beer menu was out of stock so we ordered from the few they still had. Took 15 minutes. Apparently the keg system was “acting up”. Finally the drinks came and we ordered. An hour later and after multiple apologies (new cook who was on her first day alone) poor food finally arrived. The pizzas were good but definitely not worth the wait. The worst thing was after such a poor service experience there was no acknowledgment beyond the apologies, no discount, no comp of a beer or even the offer of dessert. Just full price. Our friends had been there several times and recommended it. They won’t be back. Needless to say we won’t either. In a small town you would think maintaining repeat customers would be a matter of survival. We will see if this place is around next summer…
My family stopped here for dinner while on a road trip. Atmosphere: At first glance, it's a nice little brew pub with the wood fire pizza oven and brewing equipment in full view. There were a lot of fruit flies swarming around, even though it's winter -- that's a bad sign for the sanitary conditions of the kitchen. Drinks: We ordered a couple glasses of local wines. No complaints there, besides that they were out of stock of the first one I wanted. Food: We ordered the Alfredo fries, salad, and pizzas. The fries were unexpectedly spicy, but otherwise ok. The pizza was pretty good; it's personal-size New York style. However, the tiny amount of meat topping was disappointing, almost like there was none. They didn't have Romaine lettuce for the Caesar salad and the server asked if it was ok to substitute with the "spring mix" greens. That was fine, but when it arrived, it was clear that some of the lettuce was ROTTEN. We notified the server and they gave us a small discount on the salad. Seriously? They serve rotten inedible food and then still charge money for it?! You can see some of the green slime that used to be lettuce in the attached photo. Service: The waiter was very friendly, apart from the salad situation. Overall: The whole family was dissatisfied and would not recommend this place. I just hope no one gets food poisoning.
