Stopped going because it was just ridiculous. The new General Manager is just amazing. In three weeks he has turned this place around. The bathroom/lobby are so much cleaner. Staff is in the ball and food is quick, hot and fresh. In such a short time things have changed. The GM is always there helping and is involved. Finally nice to see

It's a Popeyes. Nice n clean. Their famous chicken sandwich is just as awesome here as it is at other Popeyes. I always do the spicy version. Excellent fries as well. I will order from here many times. Service is good.

Had a coupon... 2 can dine for $9,99. Tenders were good. Mashed potatoes were good. Red beans and rice good. The fountain machine was messed up. Water from water dispenser tasted wrong, like it was carbonated. No soft drinks. Lemonade squirted out at an angle. Most tables in dining room were dirty and nobody came to clean it during our entire visit. Good food did not make up for the messed up drink dispenser and dirty dining area.

We went to the drive through on a Thursday night (April 20) and waited for a few minutes for a guy to take our order. He had us drive around to the front to wait for our food. We heard another customer say that the guy inside was working all alone that night, but the food was hot and fresh and well worth the wait.

I went into Popeyes today here in Abilene I'm not from here and all but the customer service was amazing today. Ppl talked to me when I entered the store. And I was asked if I was enjoying my meal and if I had any trash to throw away. I mean I never had that before at a Popeyes. 100 % will be coming back. Thank you all some much for amazing dinner today.

This was a well established environment, and I feel like everybody in there was Very professional how they did business in the workplace would definitely recommend chicken was very good. Bread was amazing. Customer service was awesome. Definitely made me feel like a friend. Not just a customer.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to this location but what I can say is this is the first I’ve been here in a long time and the service was bomb!! The new manager made sure my food was fresh. I actually enjoyed my food with no complaints at all. She was so amazing; it really made me feel appreciated as a customer coming to this establishment again and the customer service was outstanding!

Most fastest service by far! Went in drive thru and did not feel rushed. There were no biscuits , but the nice tall man at the window substituted my biscuits for another side. Very friendly and fast service. Smiling faces all over! In a dinner rush I couldn't have asked for better service.

The establishment is spotless and I love the staff. My son and I were there about 8: 45 at night. They were so uplifting with their attitudes, they even got my son to sing a rap song that he wrote. It was warm and inviting place to enjoy. Oh, yeah. The food was great as usual at Popeyes!!

I thought the service was very good! The people working when I ordered at the drive thru were quick, repeated my order back, and were very pleasant. The fries were kind of cold, but the flounder sandwiches were awesome! I wish this wasn't a limited time menu item because it's so good! I got one spicy and one regular. Tried both and loved both! The spicy is definitely SPICY 🔥

Employees were on their phones and saw us but went about their business. After a f several minutes someone took our order. We had to pull up to the window because there wasn't anyone taking the order from the drive thru. When we finally got our food I checked the bag and my order wasn't complete I had to drive back thru to get my beans and rice. Which wasn't full. I'm shocked at how this place is ran.

Arrived and placed my order at 10:31 this morning. I was told it would be about seven minutes. at 10:45. I walked to the counter. There is a box sitting out with my three tenders and fries in it. when someone notices me they finally add the biscuit, and the extra biscuit. so all in all it took 16 minutes to get my order. by then my fries were cold and soggy. chicken was cold. although the wait stuff was friendly, I was not impressed with the service. There was even a manager in the lobby working on paperwork who didn’t seem too concerned about how slow they were at serving customers.

The highlight of my visit was definitely the customer service—starting with the cashier, Malachi, who was friendly, patient, and made the ordering process smooth and pleasant. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. The restaurant itself was clean, which I really appreciated. Tables were wiped down, and the dining area looked well-kept. That kind of cleanliness goes a long way. Service was also pretty quick. I didn’t have to wait long for my food, and everything came out hot and fresh. That said, while everything was solid, nothing really wowed me enough to push it past three stars. The food was okay but not exceptional, and there wasn’t anything that really stood out beyond the basics. Still, for a fast food stop, it gets the job done! Would I return? Sure—especially if Malachi’s working the register.

Employees were kind, but I feel like I waited over 20 minutes for no reason when I got home, and my order isn't even remotely correct. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich, fries, large sweet tea (correct), bacon and cheese classic chicken sandwich, Mac n' cheese, med sweet tea (received regular classic chicken sandwich), 5 piece spicy tender, large mashed potato, large unsweet tea (I received a second large Mac n' cheese instead of potato), and I received an extra classic chicken sandwich that I didn't order. I'm genuinely confused about where the disconnect was because my receipt shows what I ordered, but my bag did not. For $43.48, you'd expect the order to be correct.

The outside of the restaurant looks like it's closed. It's terrible. The employees are ALL ALWAYS SOO NICE. but everything inside is broken and they're always out of everything. And the little manager lady with short hair is always just walking around not doing anything even when it's super duper busy. I'm here often as a door dasher and it saddens me because I love Popeyes just not this location. This one in particular needs serious help and management

Possibly the Worst Popeyes I’ve ever been too, put in a mobile order for drive thru pickup. Gave it about 15 minutes went to pick it up it’s been about 25 minutes and they didn’t even start making my order. Once I arrived I pulled around to the drive thru and was told they aren’t doing drive thru orders I told them I had placed an online order for drive thru pickup they made me park and come inside. Waited for about 20 more minutes Just for them to tell me it’s getting started now. I’d understand if it was busy but I’m the only one in the store and they have 5 employees. Lobby music is blaring store is not clean.

Stood at the register for 15 minutes with 4 employees talking right there and none offered to take orders. Another patron recommended I not waste my time considering he had been waiting in line for 30 minutes. On my way out I saw those same employees all out back smoking and messing around. Foods great if you are willing to wait but the employees and management need some work.

NEVER ever leave here without counting the chicken pieces you pay for!!!! Or you’ll learn the hard way after being burned more than once. Manager with the tattoos has a short fuse. Food taste good but they cheat you for the high dollar you pay it. Pay more get less

Place needs lawn care, and a lot of TLC. Very unprofessional having one of the employees sitting outside on curb with girlfriend. Not sure who the manager or owner is- but they need to be fired. We are all lined up at curb waiting for our meal. Take pride in your establishment. This is ridiculous I got a chicken sandwich and the bread was hard as a rock. Chicken was dry. That was a month ago so I thought I would give them another chance. Bad idea.

After we ordered our food we then noticed a sign stating that ‘the big box’ was only $6. We actually ordered the exact thing and the clerk failed to mention the sale. So for what we should have paid $12 for cost us almost $30. Very poor customer service and the whole time we were eating, I’m assuming it was the manager, was out in the dining area on the phone complaining about her money being shorted. I really thought that conversation should have been taken place in her office. And then one of clerks that had took our order came out from behind the counter and he actually was wearing sweat pants and sandals with socks!! I have worked in food service and that should not be allowed. Also get off the phone and get your outside grounds cleaned up. There was trash everywhere.

The lunch service is perfectly good but the dinner/supper service is a total joke. My dinner service today was terrible. The condiments are always out of stock in the evening, the hand towels in the bathroom are not restocked, the bathroom itself is a mess, and the food is often undercooked. I didn't even bother asking for a remake, I just tossed my undercooked chicken sandwich in the trash and left after the already looooooooooong wait to get my food. Unfortunately, cannot recommend this place for an evening meal. Only risk it for lunch. Count my rating as a 1.5 stars. Only giving 2 stars for service as one of the staff was polite on my exit and held the door for me.

Drive thru only/dining room closed. Sizeable bush after ordering sign indicates a decline in management. A near steady state of "now hiring sign" starting at $11 has a loss of ability to competitively get new hires. I must give credit that the drive thru employee was friendly. The standard #11 spicy chicken sandwich was decent and of standard Popeyes quality. The food quality that I received was of a level of good standard. If food isn't ready, don't be surprised to take a lap around the building to where the entryway to the lobby would be for food to be brought out.

Took over 30 min to cook chicken for my 12 piece order. Mash potatoes and coleslaw were large containers that were only half full. This menu item cost 36.99 before taxes, then I saw a coupon for the 14 piece on the counter that was $29.99. Would have been customer friendly if the person working the counter could inform you of the sale price for more, would have been great if she had even offered me a drink for waiting so long and it would have been great if the girl taking the orders could be understood better. Worst customer service I’ve had since it first opened. Need a better manager to improve the service at this location.

The workers are nice:). The food was ok expensive for what it was tho💀 the chicken was extra dry🥲 the Mac and cheese was a blob of cheese😭probably like 5 noodles in there. The mashed potatoes are probably the fakest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. This place seems to be on its last legs. The workers seem depressed and under paid. No energy at all. Drive thru wasn't working. Drink machine wasn't working. The whole place just seems miserable. Which sucks because Popeyes is one of the best fast food chicken places. I feel sorry for the employees most. You can tell the place lacks leadership and interest.

The employees are slow, loud, and are too busy joking around with each other to have made this experience enjoyable or even normal at that. I hardly ever give under 3 star reviews because I give a few chances for a place to get their stuff together, but this chicken establishment should be more focused on cooking and serving chicken. Not cutting up and cackling like them. Completely unprofessional to be honest, even for a fast food joint.

Only thing good was the atmosphere because I had to pull up and wait for my order. It's been awhile since I have been to Popeyes and just wanted a good meal. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Biscuit wasdry and cold, coleslaw was very warm and about 3 bites worth, jalapeños were dry and shriveled, the chicken was good but also not hot temperature wise. It had been awhile since I had been there and now I know why. No worries I won't be back!. BTW no napkins, butter or honey and no utensils. The End

They should go ahead & shut this place down. It's completely dirty inside out . 1 person in the front , not polite , don't give you bags or condiments. Can't go through drive thru Prices are too high for the quality of food & service. Health department would definitely shut them down. Every table was dirty , windows look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Even the atmosphere is dull and void of friendliness.

My second time family has ordered from this popeyes location. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich but they put chicken strips on it. If i wanted chicken strips as a sandwich i can make it at home. The first time coming here we were served slightly raw chicken a year ago. I guess things didn't get any better. The worst popeyes ive ever been to. Wont be coming back. I'll stick to Canes & Chick-fil-A.

Hands down THE WORST Popeyes I’ve ever been to. It’s always empty but they are ridiculously slow. They’ve run out of chicken or even closed the drive through. Wings so little you’d think they came from a pigeon. I’m not sure how they’re still open. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I pulled up and waited for someone to take my order, after waiting a few minutes I decided to go to the window. A person came to the window and tried to explain they didn't speak English and are only helping people that speak Spanish. I have never had this experience at a national chain.

I have eaten here as a customer and tried to pick up orders here with uber eats. When I have gone for my own order, without fail the order will take over 45 minutes regardless of how busy or slow it is. When I go to popeyes im never expecting good customer service but being flat out ignored while the staff is having a whole altercation in the back is insane. When I have done anything through uber eats they are always missing items and then expect us as the couriers to deal with it. These have all been different experiences throughout two years and nothing ever changes. I have no idea how this location is even staying open at this point. Do not waste your time going here!

I've had Popeyes from different states and even countries, this is prob the worst one in the world. Service is bad and slow, the place looks dirty, and the food was either overcooked or proportions were smaller than usual. Im surprised this place is still open.

Ordered at 1pm inside. Had 2 people spread waiting in dining room. Saw at least 10 cars go thru drive thru, still no food for anyone inside. Kept being told almost ready just a few more minutes and the lady at front counter just kept bragging about being made manager after only 2 days. Well I got news for her, a real manager doesn't stand at front counter looking pretty, while ur staff is working their butt off!! Finally at 1:45 the gut taking drive thru orders out ask me what I ordered, told him and 24 piece nugget order magically appeared. Popeyes new slogan should be POPEYES, BETTER THAN WEIGHT WATCHERS, LOOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOU WAIT

How could the chicken be so bad, it tastes like flour, I ordered online, they got my entire order wrong. No cocktail sauce for my shrimp, no biscuits, yet gave honey, bad joke, red beans & rice had no flavor. And they were out of legs of chicken. When I tried calling it took 5 times calling before they answered. And all I got was an apology, I'll never get food from Popeye's in Abilene. I was craving it however they let me down all around. I work in food industry this would never happen at my place of work.

Arrived at 9pm and was told that they only have tenders. I asked if they could cook some regular chicken and they said no. Mind you this place closes at 11pm. Someone please explain why its so hard to cook some chicken with 2 hours till closing? I've worked fast food and I have upmost respect for the people that work in the industry, but this lack of customer service is unacceptable!!!

Drive through is ALWAYS closed even for mobile orders. Staff doesn't seem very friendly few times I had been there has been a lot of inappropriate talking. They seem frustrated. It's a shame because Popeys is enjoyable, but the atmosphere, employee attitude, and the fact you can just go through drive through for a mobile order is such a letdown.

I ordered delivery from here, I had to wait a lot, they gave the order to the delivery driver with a lot of missing items. I sent the driver back to get the right order and he was waiting for a long time. With that being said, we had to wait so long for our food and we were literally starving. How bad can the service be and how bad can you be at your job?

Ordered at drive through and paid. Receipt says 5:12. All I ordered was a 5 piece tender combo with fries. Was told to pull around front and they would bring it to me. Sat behind 2 other vehicles and finally got my food at 5:46. See the problem here?

I had an unacceptable experience at this location while trying to pick up a DoorDash order. Despite the restaurant’s posted hours stating they close at 11:00 PM, I arrived at 10:20 PM to find the lobby already locked. I went through the drive-thru, waited nearly 25 minutes, and was completely ignored. The only one employee looked directly at me, walked to the back, turned off the sign, and hid instead of providing any service. I knocked on the window multiple times, but no one even acknowledged me. Eventually, I had to cancel the order, wasting my time and money since I am not paid hourly. This is beyond unprofessional. If this location doesn’t want to serve customers until closing time, they need to change their hours instead of wasting people’s time. If you’re a DoorDash driver or late-night customer, don’t bother coming here—you’ll just get ignored.

On June 19th 2024, My wife and I took the family out to dinner at Popeyes in Abilene Texas. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! He ordered our food at about 6:15 p.m., I never got a receipt. We waited for about 20 minutes for our order and never got it. I went to the counter to ask on the status of our food. Of course they asked me for a receipt and I told him they never gave me one. So they're freaking out looking for the receipt. They asked what my order was and I told them. They finally found the receipt and they hadn't even started on our order! Are you freaking kidding me?!? Finally get the food and they messed up half the order. I asked them for our drinking cups and they said that we should have gotten it when we paid for it. Obviously we didn't. Get the food and it's half cold and the French fries tasted raw. They had no straws, drink lids, spoons or other necessities stacked out for customers. Had to ask for those. Then as far as condiments? It took them additional 5 minutes to even locate any condiments. The shift manager? She was sitting at a table on her laptop... NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! HORRIBLE!

This place needs a new owner if it’s franchised or management if corporate! If it’s corporate I would love to have a chat. If Franchised I would love to have a chat but with corporate. Management forces Employees to have drive through pay and park because they say the pickup window is weighted and timed. 40 min later (if your lucky I’m currently sitting here at 52 min now) we get the food. Which is always an issue because they are not setup with designated spots for each order. Never fails someone gets the wrong food. Also, this is not a recent problem, been like this for a few years! Employees appear to have a two week turnover which equals an upper level Management problem/failure! If Popeyes really cares about their business they will send a team to fix this miss-management mess!!! Update… my food was given to another customer by accident (hence the issue with parking cars after the order at a place that isn’t setup like that). And they cannot fulfill my original order because they are out of “spice chicken”. No could I get a refund because I payed with a credit card. Looks like I get to eat something I didn’t wish to purchase. I expect a corporate contact over this.

Went through the drive thru today because I saw that they were open for once. My friend and I order a sandwich meal and a 2 piece meal. The guy didn't understand anything we were trying to order. Had to repeat ourselves multiple times. I was to the point I told my friend whatever he put on the screen was fine. Finally ordered. Went and paid at the window she's told to pull up (behind two vehicles that I KNOW had been there for quite some time because when passed to do target pickup they were there) and she does. 25 minutes later (PD at 1229, it was 1252), I get out to take a picture of the corporate number (they don't care) and decide to go check on our order. Asked the staff if it was ready and was asked by guy what it was that we ordered. Told him and he threw the sack on the counter at me and said here it is. Two people walked out after I did. They honestly should just close like the other one in town did. This was ridiculous. I understand fast food isn't glamorous and there are many things you'd rather be doing but if you are going to take the job, have some pride.

Gave it another chance because we like the chicken. Not sure what is going on with this store. It took an extra hour after we placed our mobile order. Potatoes had rice mixed in. Beans were watery. Chicken wasn't cooked properly and the order was wrong. Even the tea tasted weird. I really like Popeyes but won't go back to this one.

Don't bother wasting your time or money here! Went today during lunch. They were rude through the whole process. From not knowing what they had available, to waiting over 20 minutes in the drive-thru for a sandwich and 2-piece meal, to going in and seeing that it was just sitting there getting cold in the bag and then when asked if our food was ready, the bag seen sitting there was then thrown across the counter. I hadn't been to Popeye's in years since moving back and when I saw they weren't super busy, but did have a few cars, I thought it was promising and maybe due to being in that flex time between lunch hours (depending on when one goes). NOPE! It was just bad all the way around! Called the store to speak to a manager and got no answer. The corporate number makes you do texting now, and they offered points on their reward program....I don't have nor now want to join that or give them another dime or half-hour or more of my time! Just avoid at all cost!

Every time I come here the employees never answer the drive thru, I pass by the drive thru window and they’re either on their phones or talking and playing with their friends in the front. When it’s not busy they are still so slow to get anything done

I’ve watched both Popeyes locations go to hell in a handbag over the last couple of years and today was the final straw for me. I wait 30 minute get a meal that was totally wrong. I asked for 3 peace dark meat spicy but get white meal original. Of the 3 women behind the counter not one could speak fluent English. So not only do they botch the order the ability to communicate was botched as well. I’m done!!

3 hours till they close and they refused cook tenders for a order , and saying that I would have to mix my order with chicken on the bone that looks sad and dry as hell drove all the way for here for this bs treatment. This is a constant thing for this location. It was Monday night as 8:19pm was the time owner guy

Walked in no one in line waited over 5 minutes utes no one took my order they focused on drive thru. I left and took my money to BWW next door.

genuinely terrible i dont even leave reviews like that but this place genuinely has the worst staff i have ever seen man 😭 sat in the drive thru for like 30 minutes 3 people got their food before i did and the workers acted like it was an annoyance that they had to do their job

The person running the register on 7/27/25 clearly did not fully understand English. We asked for the items that came on the #3 Bacon and Cheese chicken sandwich (just to confirm the other items on the sandwich) and this was not even acknowledged. She instead explained what a combo meal was. When asked again, she said one of the sides were fries. Either just intentionally not paying attention or English is not her first language. Another meal she asked specifically if I wanted mashed potatoes as a second side, which I replied yes and then was given rice instead. Ordered a combo meal that did not come with any sides until I went to the counter and asked again. The sandwich was also requested with no mayo and instead we got it looking like someone had used a gallon of mayo on it. There was a young man working behind the counter who politely fixed our order. The food quality is good here, but the service is horrible outside of that one younger worker. If you are going to hire someone who doesn't speak English first, make them a cook and not a cashier.

One star for fresh tenders. But 5 tender meal extras drink and side like 20 dollars. I knew Popeyes was pricy when I work there but now it just unbelievable even with inflation going on. That mash potatoes was a joke it was like 3 bites.

Would give zero stars if I could. I waited over 30 minutes for the absolute wrong order. I had to turn around to come back and waited another 20 minutes. They didn't give me the spoon for my rice and beans or my biscuit.... Over an hour spent here waiting for a 2 piece spicy leg and wing with red beans and a sweet tea 😒 just disappointing. Children seem to be running the place and unfortunately they are not doing a great job. Would not recommend this location and won't be back. Please have staff double check orders before giving them to the customer.

Listen to the reviews bruh just avoid ordering online unless you’re there physically at the restaurant to get your inevitably missing/wrong items. Food is of course still good.

I’m not sure who runs this place but it seriously needs a whole revamp including employees. One employee boyfriend or ex came in yelling , she pushed him outside and they were arguing out front of the store. When she finally came back in she slammed the door to the kitchen open . There was only 2 people wearing uniforms. One kitchen cook was digging in the fry bin and eating fries, while taking pictures on his phone . Also the drive thru was closed , I won’t be back

I ordered a 12 piece family dinner with 5 chicken breast and 2 large french fries well when I got home I only had a 10 piece with 3 chicken breast and one large fry with literally about 10 cold french fries and that's the main reason I had stopped going to Popeyes I thought I'd give it another chance but nope, they need better employees at the only Popeyes in ABILENE TEXAS

They take forever and the employees are rude. Every time I come I end up waiting 15 mins or more for food not even food just strawberry biscuits. Today was the last straw they are not getting my business anymore.

Our food was ready pretty fast which had us skeptical. We got home to find that they only gave us a couple biscuits instead of the 8 we ordered and a note on our box that says "out of other biscuits, sorry, have pie?" They didn't tell us anything about it when we were there. The biscuits we did receive were hard as a rock. Our fries and our chicken were cold, like it had been a day or two old. I bit into a very rubbery piece of chicken and just stopped eating at that point. If you're thinking of ordering here, I'd think of somewhere else, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This place just needs to shut down..every layer of my experience was either wrong or didn't exist. Half the drinks half the menu half the employees were hanging out in the dining area. Tragic really for such an easy to get right established food chain. 3/3 orders were messed up. Had to share the bathroom towels since no napkins exist appearently.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Popeyes chicken but this location has had severe service issues for a long time. I’ve seen them undergo multiple management changes and the same problems are consistent to closing early and not having an operational drive-through and always closing down the lobby. Anytime you’re in the mood for Popeyes chicken and you go to this location prepare to have a poor Customer service experience and the possibility of not even receiving your order.

I’ve been to many popeyes, this is the worst one in the country they should be bankrupt at this point. Ordered through the popeyes website for pickup directly, when we got there the drive thru was completely closed. I called the location and someone answered, but she pretended she could not hear me. I called again and I said “I know you can hear me” and the worker hung up the phone. Proceeded to call once more and the phone was completely disconnected. When I went into the popeyes the lady who answered the phone said that she hadn’t gotten my order, made no effort to rectify the situation at all, and another customer came in and she didn’t get his order either? This customer had a doordash order, I find it hard to believe they did not get either of our orders. If this is true they should’ve tried to rectify the situation, I have to go through the popeyes website to get a refund now. I just wanted my fried chicken dude. Absolutely the popeyes ever.

I asked my husband to stop here tonight and they told him FORTY MINUTES before close they couldn’t make him a sandwich and all they could sell was what they had out because they put everything up. He ordered a singular 3 piece tender meal and still every single part of it except the drink was wrong. They said they couldn’t make him a sandwich, had no fries, only had mashed potatoes with gravy and couldn’t give him any without, and said they old had mild tenders which is actually what I wanted yet I just bit into 3 shrimp sized spicy tenders. I’ve worked in the food industry. It’s hard pushing through the last hour. If it was 10-15 minutes before close, I understand. But why with FORTY minutes until close is everything put up and you apparently can’t make any fresh food or get an order right? When I started typing this review they were literally still open, that’s how long it’s been. He got my food, drove 25 mins home, and I ate it and they were still open. There’s no way there was any type of manager on shift. I’m absolutely calling tomorrow because y’all have truly lost your minds.

First time around, my wife and I waited for 15-20 minutes at the drive thru with no response. When we pulled up to order since there was no answer, we saw the employees arguing with each other. When one employee asked us what we needed, we asked if we could order and the manager in the background angrily waved her finger at us! Today we went again and a side was wrong. It happens, but it would be nice if something wasn't wrong every time. They also only gave my wife one honey packet when we asked for only honey as a dipping sauce. I went inside to get it fixed and the manager and her employee were just sitting in the dining area and acted inconvenienced when I asked for my correct side. When I asked for more honey as well, she looked even more irritated and handed me two more. Probably not coming back here.

Been calling Ridgemont Dr location Abilene Tx for over an hour and the phone is busy. I was handed an order and told it was mine but after driving all the way home this order is not mine. How do I locate the number for corporate.Still just a busy signal when calling From 7:30pm 9:18pm.

I've had many issues with this location for many years... from taking over an hour to get food, to getting the wrong order, to just bad customer service. Had an experience about a month ago that finally crossed the line. Ordered delivery fairly early in the morning, to which the order wasn't even acknowledged until over an hour later. When the delivery driver went inside to see what the issue was, she was treated extremely rude my the cashier behind the register. I was told that the manager was trying to smooth things over, but the cashier in question was ignoring his supervisor. After being relayed this information I tried to call the store 3 separate times that morning. Nobody ever answered. I have since tried taking the atrocious service up the corporate chain, to which now it has been a month with 0 communication. I would have been more than happy to address this with someone who at least feigned concern over constant issues than posting this review, but you get what you ask for. I would encourage you to buy chicken from someone else that actually cares about customer service. And furthermore, I would encourage any delivery service that cares about their drivers to remove this location from delivery services. And finally, they still got the order wrong.

I went to popeye's to go get some dinner with my wife and kids. When I got inside a gentleman in flip flops took my order. He did Not get my order right and after taking my order in me waiting ten minutes told me he was out of her eyes. Before I could ask if we could sub the fries for a different side , he sighed , walked away and ignored me. Then When I received my food , it was wrong. I then brought this to his attention , and he stormed to the kitchen and made my blackened chicken strips. This same gentleman was also throwing people's orders up on the counter, Not setting them down but throwing. After spending fifty dollars plus I expect better service and more out of this establishment. Team members looked more interested in hanging out with friends playing on phones and giving customers attitude more than helping the business. I hope whoever sees this in the establishment can make a change or shut this place down.

Stopped at the Ridgeline location in Abilene Texas at 9:30 Pm ( the restaurant closes at 11pm) on Super Bowl Sunday. Tried to go through drive thru but, there was a sign that said it was closed please come inside it was also blocked off. Went inside ( door was open) no sign on door saying closed. Several employees were there and a to go order was on the counter and you could see chicken everywhere that had been prepared. The employee just stared at us and said they were not taking anymore “Lobby Orders” we said well the Drive thru is blocked off and closed. She just said sorry and walked away! Crazy interaction and what a crappy way to run a business! If you are closing early put a sign on the door and LOCK IT! Got a really strange vibe here and would really love to speak to the owner of this location. We were not rude or loud to this employee, we just left but, I definitely would not recommend this particular location at all.

Detoured off our path home to get our kids some chicken (their favorite). We ordered an 8 piece dark, spicy family meal with Mac n cheese and sweet heat sauce, and 1 oreo dessert. We had to pull over and wait for our food, no biggie. We get down the road and all we have is not so fresh chicken and biscuits. We had to turn around, we didn't even have a fork, a napkin or our receipt. They gave us a small Mac n cheese, the sauce and napkins and fork. I hand out chicken to everyone and it's mostly wings. Which aren't dark meat where I'm from in South Louisiana. Do better Popeyes you are representing the whole state of Louisiana, and doing a shotty job.

I would avoid. Waited almost 45 minutes in the parking lot for a drive through order only to find out they lost it had to remake it. Of course they had to cook more so add another 20 minutes. Drive through is packed. Lack of organization in the kitchen is really apparent if you have to go inside to inquire about your order. I don't mind waiting but this is a bit excessive. I doubt I will visit this location again. Second time now with a wait like this. At least the first time they did not loose my order.

Went through the drive through it was five in the evening, asked for 16 piece family pack she said that will be about a 25 minute wait , told her couldn't wait that long she said how about some tenders then she says oh that will be a wait too, I just drove off what kinda chicken joint dont have any chicken ready at five in the evening on Friday knowing people about to get off work and hitting the drive through, Popeyes should fire every single person working at that time and hire people with common sense.

Trash. Just ate here and my drink had a squiahed bug in it. The drink machine is brokem so they fill them up behind the register. After I drank the big juice and saw the bug, all the cashier did was give me a new cup, real nice. The bug was not your fault but not checking the cup before filling it was, if your staff cares so little about their job thats your problem, as dor me i vote with my wallet, never coming here again.

Made an online order with specific details to the type of meat needed for a nine piece box. The box was filled with opposite of what was requested. 1) the order was not ready when I got there 2) if they didn’t have the requested pieces of meat to make the order, they didn’t even have the courtesy to communicate that they didn’t have it. So extremely slow, felt like I was watching them cook and service in 0.02x speed. Did not received acknowledgement when walking in the door, stood unacknowledged for some time before being seen, and forgot a part of my order. Had to ask to get it added. Food was good overall, fries were cold and biscuits hard but good at least. Update: pretty sure I got mild food poisoning as me and my fiancee were ill for some time after this. The food was very cold.

General rule of thumb that I like to follow while eating out: if the food is generally good, each minute you take to enjoy the food item is what it's really worth. Of course, throw it out and it's worthless. $15 on a box full of 5 piece shrimp-sized chicken tenders that felt rubbery, medium fries that clearly sat out for a few hours, and a tea that tasted like it was laced with chemicals (threw it out after the first few sips). It didn't even last me 5 minutes. I spent the same amount for the same thing at other places like Chili's and Raising Cane's, and none of them have ever disappointed me the way this place did. Don't waste your time here.

Do NOT order from here, whether online or to eat indoors, it's not worth it. People have been ordering from this Popeyes and CONSTANTLY getting the wrong order. This past order I lost about $40 worth of food for my family because these people don't know how to organize themselves and they just gave me someone else's order. They won't even give me a refund over their mistake. The food is dry, the biscuits are tasteless, their chicken is not even cooked well, everything about this location is TERRIBLE. If you value your hard earned money and time DO NOT COME HERE and DO NOT EAT HERE. It's a WASTE!!!

Arrived in store today around 1 pm. No one was in line and maybe 4 people in the dining area. Stood there for long enough to realize that at no point were we going to be greeted or waited on. Customer service is trash. They give you the wrong food the woman told me I ordered garlic parmesan and my receipt doesn’t say that. Also, that is now what I wanted either. I asked for signature hot. The orders take FOREVER and this has happened on several occasions. This is really sad because this is all we have in Abilene and it REALLY is terrible service. Good food. However, the WORST service.

I went through the drive thru before work for lunch and ordered some food and a sweet tea. I went to open my sweet tea because I saw something in it. It turned out to be a roach!! I don't have time to turn around and take it back because I have to be at work! Definitely don’t know how you fill up a cup with a roach in it. And when I tried to call to let them know, of course no one answers. I know where not to get food at now.

It was horrible. It started with the crew yelling back and forth from the dining area to the kitchen. Complaining about what each other were doing. Then when our order was brought out it was missing items. Had to wait another 5 minutes to be acknowledged to get said items. Then the 2 piece chicken that my wife got had such a minimal amount of meat and the bones were black, it wasn't edible. We left without finishing our meal. It was disgusting.
