Food is always delicious, service is always friendly. Reminds me of when I was a kid, and the waitresses were on roller skates, and hung the tray on your window. Always love going to Sonic 😊

Always a nice place for a quick snack/ treat. Even when it's busy I have never waited more than 10 minutes. There's always a deal or coupon if you use the app. I even met my husband here a few years ago so I might be biased :)

I have been in USA past few days. Didn’t like the foods at all. Very expensive and tasteless. Then found this place in our way back. Love the food love the service. Very good atmosphere. My son loved the place and the food. He ate all his chicken fingers. Highly recommended. Will be back .

First time having sonic and it did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend the cherry limeade bacon cheeseburger and super sonic breakfast wrap. Food is fresh and made to order and the staff is also extremely nice and friendly. You can tell they actually want you to enjoy the experience.

I haven't been to Sonic since moving to Buffalo from Dallas in 2018. I went for a strawberry ocean water. We went to a drive-in slot. It's usual service as expected. We each had a combo mean. She loved the smasher. I had a double. Both great. I've never liked their fries. Fairly busy for a Sunday afternoon. Their main roadside sign was a week out of date.

Service was fast and friendly. Love the drive up order board option and how easy it was to use. Price was great. We ordered bacon cheese burgers, corn dogs, fries, and milkshakes. Non were a disappointment and tasted great. Will defiantly be back here when in Buffalo! 👍👍👍👍👍

Sonic is my favourite American Fast Food chain. Whenever I’m in the US, I must stop by. This location is no different. Same awesome polite staff, they do have roller skates here, and they even have dine-in which i haven’t seen at a Sonic until now. Prices are pretty good, portions are great, food tastes great.

Great Fast Food with Excellent Service! My husband and I ordered the garlic butter burger meal—he went with a shake and groovy fries, while I chose onion rings with a root beer. The burgers were good, though I felt they could use a little something extra, but still enjoyable overall. However, the onion rings were absolutely the best! I’m not sure what the batter is, but it’s delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. We even had someone come by offering different dipping sauces for our food, which was a nice touch. The place was clean, and the service was fast and efficient. Overall, it’s a great stop for tasty fast food with fantastic service!

I waited, since it opened, to make a review so I could fully get the feel of the place. I can now say that it is 4 out of 5. I tried it once when I was in Florida and I had hopes that it would come to the Buffalo area. Walla. Here we have it. It is your typical American-styled food place that offers a wide variety of foods and drinks. It's usually good and service is often times very fast. Definitely recommend trying it out first before judging.

My son had a scrimmage out this way, and being that we don't live in the area we wanted to try it. I ordered from the website upon leaving which was very easy and convenient. We ordered 2 double bacon cheeseburger combos, a bacon cheeseburger and tried the new fries. My taters were crisp and hollow. They tasted too much like oil, and the potato was fried right out of it. My roll on my cheeseburger was moist, and the moisture was visible upon opening it up. It just made my burger soggy. I ordered the brownie chunk frozen dessert. The pictures are so misleading on the website that I thought there might be too many brownie pieces. However, I ate a quarter way through and tasted only 2 brownie chunks, the rest were chocolate pieces. It was just not favorable at all. I was so excited for this new fast food experience, unfortunately disappointed and not sure about giving it another try. If I do I hear the milkshakes are very popular so it could possibly be a dessert stop. There's plenty of parking. We parked in the stall, it gives you a phone number to call. The girl who answered mumbled so much that I wasn't sure I dialed the right number so I had to ask. The boy who brought our food out was polite and pleasant.

It's a mad house here. Came in during winter I didn't want to have someone rollerskating through the snow and ice. Got to the service counter to order. The guy at the counter tried to take my order and wasn't working, tried the next, didn't work so went and grabbed a handheld to take the order. Food came over and they forgot the drink. The carrier that brought the food over, she was very pleasant and nice. Food is OK not the best. But the prices are reasonable. I will say not the best of people come in there. Guy came in and demanded a refund and was extremely rude and aggressive over a simple mistake. Applaud the workers for taking care of the situation because the guy was talking smack and was aggressive.

I really only eat here because it's cheap(specials) and I like tater tots. All I got was cheesy tater tots. I thought the cheese would be melted cheese sauce but they just threw a couple of cheese slices on top and microwaved them. They weren't bad but could be better.

Went for the Pocket Monster party/bingo. Its clear that staff put alot of time in advertising and decorations. Its wonderful that they have events like it. But, the experience wasn't great. With cold temperatures, over 200 people were crowded in the restaurant. The Bingo caller had an introvert voice. And they stopped the game EVERY time someone had bingo. It took forever. Good idea, but there was zero pivot with the crowd. The women s bathroom had no toilet paper, and we were missing items in our food. We would return for a summer event, but not anything in the winter.

Waited 45 minutes for a take out order. Told twice it would be right out only to find the person working the counter never put in that I was there to pick it up.

Updating because ordering from any location is so inconsistent. The food is good when its RIGHT but that seems to be rare. "No mayo" means no mayo same with "no onions" not to mention it get repeated twice for it to still end up on my food. EYELASHES should not end up in my food why it was stuck in the cheese for my moz sticks and still served is quiet gross 🤢🤮

Travelled from Toronto and have had good experiences here before, but this visit was not one of them. The woman taking orders at cash was impolite and then when our food came, one of our burgers was missing the toppings we asked for. We spoke to another employee and he implied that since the receipt doesn’t show that we ordered other toppings, we never ordered them…um okay. We clarified that we did and asked for another burger the way we had ordered it and he resolved the issue, but as customers we didn’t feel like we were treated as kindly as we could have been. Probably won’t be back.

Had an amazing experience at this Sonic however, my food was very greasy in the plate presentation was not to my taste. I prefer more of a pristine plate presentation. The seasoning was so high but the food was really good. That's the only reason why this review has been taken aback somewhat will try this restaurant again and if the food is different this time I'm going to have to do a redaction on this review. Thursday, May 22, 2025 @ 3:30 PM Sonic's food was good, but the staff member who took my order took several minutes to respond after I pressed the red button—and I was quite literally the only customer there. When she finally did, her tone was unpleasant and she sounded annoyed. I remained polite despite being the one left waiting, but honestly, someone with that attitude shouldn’t be handling customer service. On a positive note, the guy at the window was awesome and friendly.

One of the worst sonics I've been to. It takes 30 minutes in the restaurant or the drive through, do not come here if you're in a rush.

The food is decent, it's a Sonic. The customer service on the other hand is awful! Went to the drive thru, after a couple of minutes they said they would be with me shortly, then nothing. Parked went inside. The girl taking my order was on video call while taking my order. It was a Friday night but they weren't that busy. Management needs to make alot of changes here. I won't go out of my way to come here again.

Our cashier (short dark hair, black rectangle framed glasses) was so incredibly rude lmao. We get to the bar and I said I’d need just a minute to the cashier, and she paced the floor behind the cashier huffing, I guess impatient ? it was beyond wild 😭 I told her it’d be a minute so she could do something else while I thought about my order. Then when we did order, less than 2 minutes later due to her impatience lmao, she literally was rushing us by cutting us off to ask if there was anything else. She then proceeded to stare at us the entire time we ate. I do not know what her deal was — a bad day, the fact we looked gay, I do not know. But damn!!! Girl im just here to order! What a wildly terrible experience; we are nice customers and I’ve worked retail — customer facing jobs are hard, but itd have been one thing if we were purposely antagonizing her. We were just on this side of town and decided to try the other sonic in town, but we should have just turned around for the thirty minute drive to the other location. Every other customer duo got a wonderful welcome after us and eye contact. Lame weirdo, loser behavior. we eat sonic so often, def going to the other location. The MOD was phenomenal however — I felt that my concern was listened to and felt genuinely hopeful that some sort of corrective action would be taken. Thank you DJ!

This Sonic off Union road was a mess. Over half of the drive up ordering menus were broken and not functional. The one I did try had a working screen but was never answered after 4 cycles of the red button. The drive thru had like 30 cars in it and by the time we got to the screen to order the employee running the drive thru sounded like they hated their job and struggled to get a very simple order placed. This location just does not have enough employees to operate as expected. It was a miserable experience overall.

Actually unbelievable how horrible everything about this was. Can we get a 0 stars option please! Sat in a carport. Speaker cut out so we walked inside. Ordered $70 of food and they told us they would bring it out. 30 min later, nothing. Go in and they tell us they can't find our receipt, but they "think" they figured it out. Another 20 minutes later they finally bring our stuff out with 0 condiments, a wrap done wrong, and no unicorn straw. The damm unicorn drink with the special straw was the entire we went for my daughter. By the time we got everything it was an hour! Put down the dab pen and learn how to actually do your jobs.

I placed an online order and was told it was getting worked on, then proceeded to wait 30 minutes with no updates at all, only for someone to tell me, after 30 minutes, that they could no longer find the order in the system. Wasted my time and energy for no reason. There was also no sort of remorse or help at all, they just said to reorder. Like why did I first have to waste 30 minutes of my time before I was told anything. Terrible. Never going back.

This sonic is actually always a terrible experience. I only came back because I was hoping it was a 1 time thing but my food was cold, it took 13 minutes to get mustard after I received my order despite ordering mustard with my meal and my drink was regular coke not Diet Coke. I didn’t even ask to have it fixed, who knows how long that would have taken.

How long does it take to make two sandwiches I ordered a burger and a jr chicken sandwich at 12:50 didn’t receive it until 1:25. It had my receipt on the bag. However I was given two chicken sandwiches and no burger or sauce so I just waited all that time for an incorrect order…nice

Terrible customer service and our order has been wrong the last three times we have gone! This past Sunday, our order was incorrect four times after we paid! We were also overcharged for an item we did not purchase, and instead of just refunding the overcharge, I had to argue with management in order to get our money back... hopefully! ( Eventually, they said they "voided" the overcharged transaction, but now I still have 2 pending transactions on my credit card: the overcharged transaction and one transaction to recharge the correct price. Management "could not" provide proof of the voided transaction because of their "old pos system" so now I wait to make sure that the "voided" transaction doesn't get posted to my credit card. This place used to be a nice stop for the family and I when making an over the border shopping trip from Toronto. Needless to say, I've decided not to return to this location because of the horrible customer service, especially when they were in the wrong.

I really hate doing this but I am beyond words….i mobile ordered food and my food in the bag was completely wrong but the receipt was correct (so I didn’t question it) and so I called and spoke with someone about simply coming later and getting a remake (and she said it be okay) and also my pop was water down and was later explained that pop wasn’t working. So comes later and I speak to the lady at the register about getting the remake and she said she’d go talk to the kitchen to get it remade, I spent almost 30 mintues (when it’s already passed 11pm ) before learning the kitchen never knew I was here, so I very upsetly asked for a refund….all I wanted was my food and I was super nice and understand food service but I am extremely disappointed and never experienced this….

There were 2 cars ahead of me, and It took them 20 min. To get them out of there. They came out and handed me the food and drink while in drive thru line. I ordered a nerd slush and onion rings. Got the right drink but received mozzarella sticks instead. Would I return NO. Lady who brought my food out was wonderful and very polite and told the staff inside that they were messing up everything. I feel they are understaffed. I pray things get better.

This is only my second time coming to this sonic but it will be the last. Placed an online order, came to pick it up only to be told I didn't have an order there. I tried to talk to the young man through the speaker but all he could say was "What?" Told me if I was going to insist I had an order there that I was going to have to come inside. When I did he just stood there talking to some young girl that worked there, leaving me standing there. When he finally helped me he still insisted I didn't have an order. Rude! I insisted on talking to a manger. When he got one, she was so unconcerned and, asked me my name. I tried to show her my order but she found it and said I did this order myself. Unprofessional, rude, slow, uncaring..that's what you'll get from this sonic. I won't be back

Was just there April 17 at 9:30 for a drive-through order. Not only did it take over 20 minutes I Got my order Home looked inside the Sprite. There’s floating red pieces inside of it open the bag to get my food out. Tots are ice cold instead of giving me a marinara for my mozzarella sticks, a ketchup packet and totally missing my chili cheese dog. I will for sure. Never return to the restaurant nor direct anybody to that restaurant for $26 it’s unacceptable to me called the store was asked if I can bring the order back and no I will go elsewhere because I will throw the food out. Went through drive thru twice - first time nobody answered after waiting several minutes then the next time it took forever to get two drinks. Once I finally got them, the slushy wasn’t even mixed. The other drink was completely wrong. Do better.

Absolutely horrible! There were 8 teenage boys literally throwing things, being extremely loud, and using horrible language/swearing. NONE of the staff including management did nothing about this. It was extremely uncomfortable, to the point we got our food and ate in the car.

I went to sonic today on union road in cheektowaga. They have 2 drive thru lines and kept skipping me when I got to the speaker. The only modification was to the drink and that was a simple add in. App said my food would be ready in 5 minutes. I left right away since it takes about 5 minutes to get there. Not a single customer was there when I pulled in. Noone in the drive thru, the lobby or the stalls. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes for a freaking breakfast burrito, french toast sticks and a drink. When I got my stuff I could tell immediately my drink wasn't correct but since I was in a hurry brushed it off and went home. I get home, the drink not only didn't have the add ins, but it was insanely watered down and tasted disgusting, no straw, and no syrup with the French toast sticks, I honestly don't even know if the burrito was even correct since by all that time I didn't even want the crap. So it took a half hour (plus the initial 5) to completely mess up probably one of the simplest orders.

The outside looked disgusting, tried multiple stalls but they were either. broken or so rusty I was afraid to touch it. When backing out to try another stall a car hop who wasn't even on roller skates gave nasty looks. The stalls that are covered in rusty or bent make the location look as if it has been abandoned. If the screen at a stall was working the color was so bad you couldn't even tell what the picture was supposed to be. I used to really enjoy Sonic but I no want to come to this location it made me think if the outside isn't taken care of what isn't being taken care of on the inside. On other visits the wait times were long and when you did get your milkshake it tasted as if the milk had spoiled.

Beware!!! The employees at this location will rip you off if given the opportunity. Went here one night and placed my order at the drive up kiosk. The screen was apparently broken because it was not updating my order. I also was not able to pay at the screen outside. Person on the intercom said I can pay the car hop. Got our order from the car hop and gave her my credit card. She took a very long time (10 min) to return my card. Went home and discovered 2 Sonic charges on my bank account. One was my order and another one that was much much larger than mine. Long story short the company cust service line told me to call the manager of this store. It took many calls and the GM was not helpful and lied about sending me a "refund". I ended up disputing the charge with my bank. This all took 3 months mind you.

The service was incredibly slow, we waited 30 minutes for fast food! Its sad what placed like this have turned in to. Now I remember why we never do fast food anymore, not to mention the food is awful.

The worst Sonic ever, and I have been to many. Apparently the expectation that someone will bring out your food is lost upon the should-be-fired employees. Even when I came inside from the parking lot they knew I was at, no Sorry or anything. Did they know? Yes. My order was just waiting there and Ms. Nopersonality whimpered "Yeah, I'll go get it..." and went back staring off and walking very slowly. Just this once? No, this has been consistently happening. If here, go to Ted's. It's better anyway.

manager is very inconsiderate and does not act like a manager at all and lacks social skills with customers. i don’t even know how he even got the job because he acts like a kid and does not care to help when things go “missing”

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I ordered ahead, arrived at the online estimated time and waited 45 minutes for my food. It wasn't brought out to me after waiting, I had to go inside. My milkshake was melted, the food was cold and part of the order was missing. The staff was dismissive and then argumentative. It was not a busy time so there is no reason for the delay or the food to be sitting out long enough to get cold.

Do not eat here. Found fake fingernail in Cherry Limeade after drinking nearly half. Brought it to the manager and after they all laughed about it in the back, they brought me out a dollar bill and some change as a refund. Ended up getting my whole order refunded (hopefully - still hasn't been refunded on card but probably takes a few days). Not very happy with the service or the finger nail. Gross.

This location is not consistent whatsoever. If you don't look at your order in the drive thru to ensure they forgot anything you will realize they messed your order up once you leave. Workers seem to not care about their jobs. Looking forward to robot replacements

Decided to stop by sonic for a late dinner with my kids after a HS foodball game, placed my family's order at 10:08pm. After 40 mins of waiting now 10:45pm, I went to the counter to see what the issue was. After being informed our food was sent to a different customer, and they didnt know where to send the food after that, I asked for a refund to just leave. They informed me they couldn't give refunds so I'd either have to wait for the food or take coupons. I just left and hopefully my bank can dispute the charges. I feel a company that accepts your funds should definitely be able to give refunds if there is a legitimate complaint.

Waited for an order an hour more than the expected wait time. Around 30 mins in, we checked in with a staff member on register and she said it'll be 5 seconds. Then after another 20 minutes we asked again and she said "We're busy" Which would've be fine if we didnt see literally everyone get their orders (we've watched) Throughout the entire time. She was also very rude and rolled her eyes when we asked and dismissed the fact we've been waiting forever

I haven’t had a bad experience with the food/drinks just yet. I waited 5 minutes before someone asked me if I was taken care of, all the staff is in the back just chatting away. The counter is always a mess either with cardboard boxes or sauces and there is never any napkins in the dining area. If I was the manager, I would be embarrassed how the place is kept.

My wife ordered us some dinner from Sonic and figured it would be better than the other fast food chains wrong! Burgers were too expensive for the slop We received, the milkshake was not mixed fully, what happened to combo meals charged twice for 1 onion ring at $6 where is the rest of the bag? Whoever made our order may want to think of a career change. Never ordering from this place ever again!

I waited for a long time. 5-6 cars that came after me got served before me while I was waiting at the window. My burger was completely wrong, and I even confirmed with the guy who handed it to me that there were no pickles. Not to mention the 1oz queso I bought came packaged as pictured. I called and all they could do was offer to remake it or give me "Sonic Points". Either way I'd have to drive all the way back to the place and probably wait another eternity. So no. Don't go here. You will be very disappointed in their customer service.
